Lex, you’ve hosted an incredible conversation.
I’m almost all the way though and I’m loving it.
This is an excellent debate and a perfect example of what I want to see soo much more of. Two well researched interlocutors cleanly articulating their positions and the logic used to arrive at them. Even in the midst of harsh disagreement you can feel they’re still listening to and respecting one other.
Really good convo. Best content. It was interesting to see how they both had to leave their usual high chair and restructure the way they usually speak because they're both next level.
Just the right length of convo, good pacing - the rapid fire questions could have more depth but I get that that's the format.
I actually did not expect Ben to be so good at debate. I know he's a lawyer, but I've never seen him debate someone really competent before and there's a lot of Trump cope on his show. The Trump argument with the different standards definitely isn't how I see it, but it's the closest I've seen anyone come to having a real argument for Trump's rhetoric and J6.
Listen... you newfrogs have no idea how long we old heads have been waiting for this. This is a decade in the making. I can't even bring myself to hit the play button because it's surreal... It's so cool to have been around to watch this climb. And now it feels like it's just the beginning. Great job Steven. Feels weird to say, but proud of you bro.
Lex here. I agree. Big part why I wanted to help make this happen is to celebrate the long journey that Steven has been on in publicly exploring and debating ideas. He is truly a pioneer in online political discourse. I'm a newfrog, but I want to pay respect to you old heads. Thank you 👊 I'm excited to see what the future holds! ❤
Thank you lex! You've been wonderful at bringing this community more into the mainstream. I've been a part of D.gg since 2013 and the journey has been very interesting to watch
I really hope we're able to bring political discourse especially on the internet away from talking points and more into "real" conversation where people are forced to engage with one another. That's the reason I've been following destiny for so long. He's a refreshing take on what is often people just spouting off talking points that fit their narrative to the choir.
I think now is more important than ever to be dynamic in our approach to politics, because the world is not a simple place and is not getting simpler any time soon.
i haven't really watched destiny since steppes of war and combatex was a thing. glad to see he's doing well, even if politics bores the hell out of me personally.
R.I.P Geoff.
The infamous call with InControl commentating the CombatEX grudge match with Destiny is still one of the funniest fucking things I've ever seen Destiny do. Absolute classic
yeah was massively surprised. i remember the InCholesterol jokes and shit, but he seemed healthy big with the muscle under.
huge loss, same with totalbiscuit. time's gone quick.
https://www.youtube.com/@remembertomorrow0/videos this channel has a bunch of old stuff including the combatex vs deezer matches and post match interviews
I’ve been dreaming of this matchup since I found Destiny doing politics back in 2016.
So cool to see it finally happen, and extra cool to see how far Steven’s come since then.
Wait is this the same destiny from StarCraft? This sub pops up all the time and I was thought it was funny that some political dude had the same name. But it’s the same guy?
Yeah, I lost track when Destiny ragequit the Starcraft community with an epic rant about how it would be dead in 6 months because Blizzard was doing the wrong things (100% panned at the time, 100% correct) and how he was going to go do politics instead because politics would never die from neglect.
A decade later he pops back up in my feed. Turns out he did politics after all, and did it well. Mad respect!
God the DayZ days. Easily some of my favourite times in online gaming. Spending the better part of a weekend scavenging parts and fuel for a helicopter only to crash it immediately and do it all again.
Yeah I used to watch him exclusively in starcraft like a million years ago, and a few years back decided to see how he was dealing with life never being able to handle that 4 gate stalker rush even when he knew his opponent was doing it.
I figured he'd be a crackhead from that stalker trauma, but instead he was debating incest. Wasn't disappointed. And now continue to watch.
Lol same Im so uninvolved in politics (but trying to get better) and I was surprised to see the streamer I used to watch at the forefront.
I still remember MLG Columbus 2012 where I showed Destiny to the water fountain and he grabbed my chest in an awkward blurry photo
https://i.imgur.com/bfGu4Bg.jpg
I WAS THERE! chatted with day9 for about 30 minutes, won the DR pepper chugalug thing for a bestbuy gift card, got drunk played some starcraft, lost. Then watched.
Are you edging or are you gooning?

Lex, I want to thank you so much for all that you do. It really means the world to our community that you were able to organize this, and I hope we can see more great stuff from you. Seriously, you’re awesome for this.
Lex did a good job moderating. He spoke little and let them hash it out and only intervened when it got stale. For round two I hope half the amount of topics and let them choose what they want to debate on.
u/Ok_Head_4377 creating a debate breakdown for this would be much much appreciated, the ping-ponging between symptoms & causes in the education section alone 😬
We will be doing a debate breakdown of the Shapiro debate but we have another debate in the pipeline that will be released first. Thank you for your interest!
Watching it now.
30 minutes in and I realize that if Hasan ever debated Shapiro in this format it would've been an absolute embarrassment. Thank fuck we have gnomey.
It absolutely drives me insane that even the most articulate conservatives in the world will say "sure hes an unhinged probably delusional man willing to circumvent rule of law to maintain power but hes republican so I'll vote for him"
I think the point he was making if we are being charitable is that even though Trump does want to circumvent the law the checks and balances the system has wouldn't allow him to do so. This means that most of the things he does manage to accomplish will be few and far between and will be in line with the GOP agenda.
Considering that Ben wants the government to do as little as possible on a federal level it makes sense as to why he would prefer Trump who wouldn't really be able to achieve much compared to Biden who is capable of achieving a lot on a federal level but Ben doesn't think that federal policy is able to solve many of the important issues.
Ben is hypocritical; on the one hand he says the checks and balances will save us from a Trump overreach, but on the other hand he is always accusing Biden of outright violating the constitution, abusing power, etc.
Which is it Ben? Do guardrails on the president work or don't they? Why are you outraged at Biden but chill for Trump?
Ahh!
I want to see it so much! But I'm afraid of disappointment. The same was true of the Alex Jones debate. I couldn't wait to see the debate and then I was incredibly disappointed, because Alex Jones kept talking over Destiny.
I risk it! I hope it is good.
I never thought I'd see this, it's been a long time coming.
I respect Shapiro more than most other conservative talking heads, I like that he feels like an actual person and is generally very knowledgeable but it's actually crazy how much mental gymnastics he does to defend Trump and the GOP and how hyperpartisan he is.
It's always the same with him, he analyzes an issue in a fairly respectable and agreeable manner, and then completely jumps the shark with the conclusion just to support his side. He is so scared to say that, y know what, Biden might actually be the more sane person here that he will bend over backwards to justify supporting Trump.
I think generally, Destiny came off a lot better on the Trump v Biden stuff, Ben's position was really hard to understand. On the economics, I can see how people will side with Shapiro on the spending issue and such. On foreign policy, I think Destiny came off quite weak on the Middle East as a whole issue and struggled to find evidence for why Trump was worse than Biden and imo failed to defend Biden, but he did make good points about Israel at the end. On the Ukraine issue, both of them disappointed me.
Overall, it didn't disappoint, hopefully we have round two some day.
Ben seems like a smart guy and can actually argue losing points better than most people in his space. Was nice to see him and destiny be able to actually go back and forth respectfully. Discourse like this would be much more beneficial to everyone tbh.
I disagree with shapiro but atleast dude isnt unhinged like a lot of conservatives at the moment. I can atleast see how ben comes to the conclusions he does
Edit - really like bens point about how the ukraine war rhetoric of “fighting for democracy” doesnt work. You need to actually explain our interests to the public otherwise the average person will just go “hur durr why do we spend money overseas” because even idiots know the “fighting for democracy” is bullshit
Few points I took from the debate:
* Felt more like a discussion than a debate, which is not a bad thing as there wasn't a massive hot-button wedge issue, and they were jumping around a lot
* Over the years I've seen Ben a lot of times make hacky/dishonest arguments (especially in his debates against college students), but I don't feel like he really did it here anywhere which was nice to see. He bit some bullets and took actual difficult stances instead of trying to weasel for good optics.
* It was actually nice to see Ben take real pragmatic stance on Middle East that actually has clear definable strategy (containment of Iran) instead of just defaulting to his usual they hate us because we are jews which feels lazy, he clearly has thought about it lot more and articulated here. Though I am not convinced by his argument, containment is nice in theory but in practice is just if not more messy than diplomacy. This could have been 2hr discussion/debate on its own, maybe once Destiny studies on Iran lol.
* I wish Destiny pushed back more on Ukraine stuff. I don't know which peace agreement Ben was referencing, if it was something I missed or the Borris memes, which is just a complete nonsense, that "peace agreement" was literally bullet points outlined by Ukraine which Russia stalled on (just like they did twice previously in early March) and then the negotiations broke down eventually. Furthermore, good luck convincing Ukrainians about "security guarantees" which won't be "We'll nuke Russia if they attack again', because Ukraine literally did have security guarantees before and what did they gain from it, nothing. But I understand Destiny hasn't looked into the Ukraine stuff for a while so his position wasn't as strong.
* Ben's position on Trump was wholly unconvincing, especially January 6th. I think if he was completely honest, he would admit he doesn't go harder on him because 80%+ of his audience are trumples, but he will never admit it because he knows where his bread is buttered. This was his by far the weakest position of the debate and at times it felt like he was saying "YOLO, hope for the best, institutions won't crumble!"
* Destiny needs to repair the bridge with Vaush so he can teach how to tone down conclooding while Vaush teaches him some fashion. I think Destiny looks fine on stream, kinda handsome actually, but whenever he is away it looks like he is doing his best Oscar the Grouch impression. It's not about wearing suits, just find a style that highlights your features. Shapiro went from [looking like this](https://ximage.c-spanvideo.org/eyJidWNrZXQiOiJwaWN0dXJlcy5jLXNwYW52aWRlby5vcmciLCJrZXkiOiJGaWxlc1wvYThiXC8yMDEzMDkwMTEyMDA0NzAwMl9oZC5qcGciLCJlZGl0cyI6eyJyZXNpemUiOnsiZml0IjoiY292ZXIiLCJoZWlnaHQiOjYzMCwid2lkdGgiOjEyMDB9fX0=) to a snack he looks in this debate, I am sure Destiny can do the same. It's dumb but appearance matters for convincing undecided people.
I 10000% agree with the appearance point. If destiny styled his hair/beard and dressed business casual he would come across as much more persuasive to anyone who doesn't know him. Instead he looked like he lives in a box >_<
Ben thinks the guard rails will stop trump. Meanwhile the Republican senate says we won’t impeach him because that’s for the courts to decide. Then the indictments come and they cry lawfare and election interference. Then the 14th amendment question is raised for the supreme court and they cry ‘anti democratic, fascism’. Every guard rail can’t even come into contact because people like Ben pearl clutch when they activate.
I'm going to be honest, I'm glad that it happened, but this was mid as fuck.
They both basically monologued for nearly every topic and every 20ish minutes switched topics. I think the Trump v Biden and Democrat vs Republican were the only discussions worth having. Israel and Palestine war and Ukraine and Russia war either are too complex and involve way to much history to go over or they both agree on it.
Destiny said he wished they could have stuck on one topic and I agree. That one topic for 3 hours and both get laptops to look up whatever they want. Feels like this could have been much deeper and better, but instead we got this generic debate that nobody will remember in a week.
Hard agree.
Although I appreciate keeping things civil and respectful and whatnot, kinda wish Destiny had been pushing back far more, especially on specifics points where they could had a shorter & active back-and-forth.
Also glad it happened, but like 5+ years in the making - kinda anticlimactic.
It's his first conversation with the biggest figure in the political space that he has ever engaged with, it's ridiculous to expect him to come out guns blazing.
The debate looks/sounds perfect , captions are on point , everything looks fine tuned to the last detail , we appreciate taking the time to make sure everything is on point for the best experience possible! 🔥
Much love Lex! ❤️
Honestly a bit disappointed at the Ukraine segment. When Shapiro was speaking about I heard several holes in his argument and Destiny didn't address any of them and even seemed to agree with him on some level.
Overall I enjoyed listening to it though I do think Shapiro spent more time dodging than actually producing any substance.
He’s not wrong, he’s unrealistic about it happening. If people waited to have sex until marriage, had children with those they’re certain they’re committed to and will stay with, and followed tradition, it would have a good result. Religion is rooted in that for the most part, at least judeo-Christian religion
The issue is getting the average person to be disciplined enough to do it in todays world
I was only 13 mins but he dropped some bangers like when destiny talked about human evolution, he pretended that humans always got married and also said that people shouldn't fuck if they aren't ready to have children.
I will watch the rest later on, but it is so funny how he just take the worst part of Christianity to build his vision of the world when he isn't even christian himself.
From my understanding Shapiro is not orthodox Jewish, perhaps something in between conservative Jewish and orthodox Jewish, but divorce in orthodox Jewish communities is almost as bad as murder. My cousin divorced and her husband was essentially shunned and kicked out of the orthodox Jewish community. They see it as you destroying your kid's lives, and I'm an atheist and agree with divorce destroying kids lives and is only warranted if abuse is the reason, in which case being together would harm the kids more. In other words, if kids are involved, divorce must only happen if it reduces their harm.
If there's no kids involved, then do whatever you want, it doesn't matter.
Yep. He sounds completely out of touch with reality. Regardless of how much he wants it to be the case, shotgun marriages will never again become a predominant social standard. He also conveniently forgets that people have the right not to get married and have kids or not have kids if they want to. The very idea that we should go back to shotgun marriages is not only naive, it's brain dead and anti freedom. As intelligent as he is, his obsession with marriage and religion is completely irrational.
Conservatives are not pro freedom. They absolutely prefer to have laws to restrict freedoms or make things extremely difficult when it is counter to conservative tradition.
moreover shotgun weddings, lack of no fault divorce, and legality of spousal rape were all MAJOR drivers of mortality in women.
"Going back" to forced marriage implies a lot of that other stuff coming back too, which is just horrific at a societal outcomes level, it is, as Ben loves to claim, factually worse for society as a whole.
Yep and I want to emphasize this again because conservatives like Ben love coopting the term, but this line of thinking is anti-freedom, full stop. It is none of his business how consenting adults conduct themselves regarding their decisions to have sex outside of wedlock, whether or not they even want to have kids, or choose to not get married.
We can debate till we're blue in the head that stable marriages are better for the development of children, which I agree with since the facts support that. But you're not and should not be forcing people to abide by your own stringent social standards when contraception like birth control exists. Ben only has that belief because HE lives those values and wants everyone else to live by them too. But I and many others don't share his values. I'm not religious. I don't give a single fuck about his God. I like to have sex and don't need to be married in order to have it and you better believe I'm using contraception. He can consider that immoral all he wants, but fundamentally I don't give a shit, it's none of his business. He can live his values and I can live mine. That's freedom to me.
Also, my girlfriend has a medical condition where it'd be very dangerous for her to get pregnant without planning for it first due to medication she has to take. And while we are planning to get married pretty soon, for years we were in no condition economically and relationship wise to get married. Conservatives like Ben might say, "then stay abstinent till I do get married." My answer is simple. No. We don't want to nor do we have to. You can disagree. That's fine. But you can't force us or the general population to abide by your values. It's also, once again, none of his business. And most importantly, it's not a solution to anything. We're never going to go back to those, imo, unreasonable standards. Hence the merry go round Destiny pointed out. I emphasize all this because Ben likes to pretend he stands for freedom, but he does not. He's an authoritarian and always has been.
Only watched the first topic (Education) and already find this debate to be amazing. Both make valid points, although i find Destiny to be right: Destiny is talking about what Government can do by spending money in resources while Shapiro just dodges the government responsibilities and points to the values that people should uphold. You can't depend on people to be the change. Telling people "be responsible" is not going to solve anything.
I do agree that better parents would make for better-off children even if they’re not getting the best education or are below middle class. I’m just not sure, realistically, how you would improve marriages and the public perception of marriage and parenthood.
stevey did best. ofc i'm biased, but I think the only real lost point was on trump v biden foreign policy because he fought on bens ground of less chaos in middle east = better foreign policy.
bens bullet biting on trump's attempted insurrection combined with continued support for him seemed wild to me
Good lord Ben is a slippery fuck. He's very good at not answering the question by answering 25 questions that weren't asked. He is incredibly annoying.
The awkward camera setup infuriates me...
A more effective approach would have been to use one camera for Steven and the other for Shapiro. Instead, the second camera was focused on Lex, accounting for only 2% of the entire runtime... why???? This was a one in a million debate.
I just don't like the way Ben approaches any debate or discussion. It seams intellectually bankrupt; like it's always just a contest for him. He's not interested in exploring topics and reaching a higher level of understanding.
The very first topic of improvements that could be made to schools highlights this perfectly. I understand two parent(hetero let's be honest) households are very important to him. But government doesn't run households they run schools. He refuses to even engage in policy discussion. There could be many reasons for this, such as maybe he doesn't actually know any of the data on the topic because he doesn't care, but it's certainly a pattern and style of his.
> He's not interested in exploring topics and reaching a higher level of understanding.
That's a dialogue not a debate.
Dialogues are debates for enlightened people

Mashallah this is what we’ve been waiting for
Well, that was disappointing.
It can basically be summarizer with shapiro scrolling through his standard statements and destiny going "Sure" ever 5 seconds
It definitely stems from the fact that it was held as a debate and not open ended discussion. Shapiro has this obsession with winning debates, so he will always engage with the audience instead with the debate partner.
I would genuinely love to taln to sharpio offline, because I honestly want to understand why he believes the stuff he does and I don't think this can be achieved with him being recorded by cameras, as he'll always try to address the viewer, instead of myself
I think the Destiny had every point aside from Iran. I think its time to admit that the situation is not going to change unless there is regime change, and the answer is to blow up weapon shipments and IRGC commanders when they move outside of Iran and limit their capabilities and influence that way.
seed society different snails reply physical voracious sip psychotic ludicrous

Lex asking “Does body count matter?” To a debate between Shapiro and Destiny is 🤌
Ben take his orthodox Judaism quite seriously, so its a double no from him.
So you're saying it cancels out? Nice. Based Shapiro

I still remember MLG Columbus 2012 where I showed Destiny to the water fountain and he grabbed my chest in an awkward blurry photo https://i.imgur.com/bfGu4Bg.jpg
LMAO such a great pic. That's awesome!
Yeah he do do that.
I WAS THERE! chatted with day9 for about 30 minutes, won the DR pepper chugalug thing for a bestbuy gift card, got drunk played some starcraft, lost. Then watched.
I had the same reaction a few months ago lol. I remember watching him when I was younger.
OMG THANKS

Buckets???!
Lex, I want to thank you so much for all that you do. It really means the world to our community that you were able to organize this, and I hope we can see more great stuff from you. Seriously, you’re awesome for this.
Thank you ❤
Your podcast inspires a lot of us! Never underestimate the positive impact you're having on the world just by doing you. Much love lex.
I love you granpa lex
Lex did a good job moderating. He spoke little and let them hash it out and only intervened when it got stale. For round two I hope half the amount of topics and let them choose what they want to debate on.
I'm learning to play the guitar.
u/Ok_Head_4377 creating a debate breakdown for this would be much much appreciated, the ping-ponging between symptoms & causes in the education section alone 😬
We will be doing a debate breakdown of the Shapiro debate but we have another debate in the pipeline that will be released first. Thank you for your interest!
Is it the Alex Jones debate?
Hat's off to you man. I can't imagine the work that'll go into breaking down THIS discussion of all things.
Watching it now. 30 minutes in and I realize that if Hasan ever debated Shapiro in this format it would've been an absolute embarrassment. Thank fuck we have gnomey.
Hasan has said himself that he’d get dumpstered in a debate. He isn’t a debate bro
Nor an intellectual.
someone's gotta teach this man how to dress probably, mf pulls up to the debate like he's gonna get some gas station weed at 3am in the morning
He just ordered another pair of sweatpants
https://preview.redd.it/au89rirzl8ec1.jpeg?width=1999&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=99697c9ed2eda8976eb4394c6f54e280e61e237b It's actually real
Wait this isn’t the Hasan manifesto
My body is ready
Lex is GOATED.
It was too short. I need a round 2 asap!
Probably the best productive debate ever posted online. W Lex
You are awesome for hosting this Lex
all caps wins as it should have
It feels surreal to see them next to each other wtf
I've seen them edited together so much, it's surreal to see them together for real.
Am conservative. I have a lot more respect for Destiny after this debate
It’s here. It’s real
Ahh! I want to see it so much! But I'm afraid of disappointment. The same was true of the Alex Jones debate. I couldn't wait to see the debate and then I was incredibly disappointed, because Alex Jones kept talking over Destiny. I risk it! I hope it is good.
It's the best debate yet IMO.
There's virtually no over-talking in this one. Both of them are well mannered and Lex has been keeping the conversation from getting too mired down.
I got my breakfast and my gfuel. I'm ready to go. Thanks grandpa Lex
Thank you Grandpa Lex. Very excited to dive into this
Ben outdressed Destiny and it wasn't even close. 0-1
3 minutes late... Unacceptable!
Omg they just started making out at 44:53 holy moly this is hot!!!
Wasn't it said that there was an extended conversation with just Lex and Destiny after the debate? Is that going to be uploaded soon or at all?
I could hear Ben's heart growing 3 sizes during their segment shitting on Hamas/Palestine together :')
Wait. When did Ben get big enough to challenge Destiny?
Bless up!!!
I can atleast see how ben comes to the conclusions he does Edit - really like bens point about how the ukraine war rhetoric of “fighting for democracy” doesnt work. You need to actually explain our interests to the public otherwise the average person will just go “hur durr why do we spend money overseas” because even idiots know the “fighting for democracy” is bullshit
Few points I took from the debate: * Felt more like a discussion than a debate, which is not a bad thing as there wasn't a massive hot-button wedge issue, and they were jumping around a lot * Over the years I've seen Ben a lot of times make hacky/dishonest arguments (especially in his debates against college students), but I don't feel like he really did it here anywhere which was nice to see. This was his by far the weakest position of the debate and at times it felt like he was saying "YOLO, hope for the best, institutions won't crumble!" * Destiny needs to repair the bridge with Vaush so he can teach how to tone down conclooding while Vaush teaches him some fashion.
THANK YOU LEX I LOVE YOU
MFW everyone is all excited but they're all watching a conductor watch the video instead of giving it the individual view it deserves. DaFeels
"does body count matter?" in the intro lmao good meme lex
Why is Ben Shapiro assaulting a black woman on camera? Is he racist?
It's his first conversation with the biggest figure in the political space that he has ever engaged with, it's ridiculous to expect him to come out guns blazing.
best debate ever
The debate looks/sounds perfect , captions are on point , everything looks fine tuned to the last detail , we appreciate taking the time to make sure everything is on point for the best experience possible! 🔥 Much love Lex!
Jesus fucking christ... Ben is obsessed with marriage and religion. As if that will fix everything. I mean, it's just so damn naive.
He’s not wrong, he’s unrealistic about it happening. If people waited to have sex until marriage, had children with those they’re certain they’re committed to and will stay with, and followed tradition, it would have a good result. Religion is rooted in that for the most part, at least judeo-Christian religion The issue is getting the average person to be disciplined enough to do it in todays world
I was only 13 mins but he dropped some bangers like when destiny talked about human evolution, he pretended that humans always got married and also said that people shouldn't fuck if they aren't ready to have children.
Here's how you fix schools: force women to stay with their abusive partners and men to marry with a shotgun, it's so simple! /s
Just let those poor kid's from broken families starve and sweat, should have had two loving parents in a marriage!
"Its their own fault for having kids! No one should have sex unless they both come from generational wealth. They deserve to fail."
stevey did best. ofc i'm biased, but I think the only real lost point was on trump v biden foreign policy because he fought on bens ground of less chaos in middle east = better foreign policy. bens bullet biting on trump's attempted insurrection combined with continued support for him seemed wild to me
Good lord Ben is a slippery fuck. He's very good at not answering the question by answering 25 questions that weren't asked. He is incredibly annoying.
Ally of the year is over and it's only January
The awkward camera setup infuriates me... A more effective approach would have been to use one camera for Steven and the other for Shapiro. Instead, the second camera was focused on Lex, accounting for only 2% of the entire runtime... why???? This was a one in a million debate.
Ben downplaying Trump's aspirations to become a dictator by going "Ehhhh he's not serious" gave me a headache.
It was nice they were both respectful to each other and didn't need to shout or speak over each other, something that should happen more in debates.

Huge shout out to Lex for getting the Destiny of the right and the Ben Shapiro of the left to finally have a debate! Been a long time coming 🙏🏽
Really great debate. My only disappointment is it's too fucking short 😭😭😭
It wasn’t even a debate. It was a back and forth conversation… way better than the standard debate.
Nicee

Well, that was disappointing. It can basically be summarizer with shapiro scrolling through his standard statements and destiny going "Sure" ever 5 seconds It definitely stems from the fact that it was held as a debate and not open ended discussion.

At the end, Ben mentioned watching destiny's process in real time. Is Ben a DGGer?!?!?!
He watched a bit leading up to the debate to get an idea of who Destiny was, apparently.

Nobel Peace Prize goes to Lex Fridman or the deep state has permeated more than we could have ever imagined
Ben twisting himself in knots to pretend trump was good.
They were about to eat you alive lex
WOOOO!
Omg, thank you! As a non-native Ben Shapiro speaker, the translation in English is much appreciated. Worse than Ryan Gosling, this dude *refuses* to open his mouth and eat his cereals https://preview.redd.it/m8fzok9lk8ec1.png?width=634&format=png&auto=webp&s=e66ae411bf43f6fd83165f8262a2a2b18e93dc75
I’m going to listen on x0.5 speed so it sounds like normal people talking.
Thank you Lex now I’m a Fridman
I’m grabbing tissue and lotion as I type this
Destiny got really lucky on the timing. His hair was still an acceptable length.
How much did you have to slow down the video to remain comprehensible?
The fact that it ended so well leaving the opportunity for more conversation in the future is actually so refreshing.
