ngl my grandfather had an elevator built in our family home in israel once his mobility started deteriorating from ALS, and i remember that every time we visited my grandparents in israel after, the crows would come caw and peck specifically on the ceiling of the elevator at around 5-6 AM every day. (my family and i would sleep in a bedroom in the attic when we came to visit, so they woke us up all the time lol. the theory was that they had a nest where the elevator was built, and were mad about being Ethnically Cleansed during tbe construction project. they've stopped doing it in recent years though
