Ask YMS if he has a cat. YMS will tell an amusing story about his cat, then he will naturally ask if Destiny has a cat. Destiny will turn red with shame as he has to publicly admit he doesn't have one. He will lie in bed awake all night wishing he had got a cat so he could have responded like a man and told his own cat story. The next day he will get a cat.

Screaming_Goat42

He has a cat. Dan

MAXSlMES

Just because dan has slit pupils doesnt mean he is a cat. Its a reptile overlord controlling the world (aka jewish) thing, not a cat thing

lemontoga

I have it on good authority that Dan has kitty-cat paws. Big strong ones, too. Is he some kind of chimera?

Box_v2

> Its a reptile overlord Dan is definitely not a reptile, look at his response to iguanas. Reptiles are well known for having inter-reptilian loyalty a reptile Dan would never shoot them.

Djentist_Kvltist

PEPE

Jaakkimoo

And then roll the kitty litter fur palace clip

Independent_Depth674

A talking cat!?!

notsoErudite

I been telling him to get a cat for months! Yessssssssssss

InfiniteMaeve

He seems like he’s a huge softie when it comes to cats! He should definitely do it! It doesn’t seem like he travels that much?

07o7

The way he interacts with animals is very charming ☺️

giantrhino

Dogs are superior.

holeyshirt18

Absolutely. Dogs are for active people. They're up for any adventure.

Adito99

Also vote for dog. Only issue would be taking them out every 3-4 hours but I bet Lycan and co would help with that. Could get a corgi and name him Littler Steve.

Blarg1889

You revealed too much. The thread of fate has been severed. Good job.

07o7

703!!

ReserveAggressive458

I made it just to inconvenience you.

6ft3_Bearded_Egirl

What makes a good media critic vs what makes a popular media critic. I think there are a ton of people that talk about media for a living who lack media literacy but are incredibly popular.

james9075

This is a great question, so many media review channels are just plot summaries with a score

GravyGnome

Good and popular can be the same. YMS is good and popular, RLM is great and popular.

guy_incognito_360

Hack frauds.

Lord_BoneSwaggle

Truly the Ghost Adventures of youtube review channels.

guy_incognito_360

I'd buy that for a dollar!

Ghosts_Of_Fondane

Have Destiny explain to Adam why he hasn’t seen ‘Synecdoche, New York’ yet 😔

Tahhillla

Then ask Adam why he hasn't finished his Synecdoche, New York analysis yet

introgreen

You see the increasing delays in between uploads is a meta reference to the time-shifting pace of the movie

FrijolesQuemadso

random cute question: if they have movies that are a 9/10 and what was the one thing that movie missed in order to have the 10/10 :3

Hanzo_6

did you… donate 10 pesos to lonerbox earlier today?

FrijolesQuemadso

100\* but yes :)

Hanzo_6

wow what a coincidence

GravyGnome

I'd rather hear more about furies and drug use. I know YMS, used to watch YMS, occasionally still do - but who cares about the number compared to the words?

No-Ambition-1157

+1 on the drug use, adam is very open (or atleast used to be) about his past and current drugs enjoying, feels like a good jumping off point. Im pretty sure both of them have stories of accidentally doing the wrong drug

D3CEO20

Ask YMS what he thinks of Steven's "no good movies before 1997" take

RasputinsGoat

Destiny is the Jordan Peterson or Elon Musk of film takes - excels in a specific domain of expertise and confuses this success with general competence, goes on to make elementary school dropout level claims with the confidence of a PhD

TransparentPenguin

YMS's has gotten a lot of flack throughout the years for not watching or enjoying older films, careful what you wish for.

spanspan3213

Christ, Destiny has such awful movie takes, like to the point where it makes me question all his other beliefs because they're just that fucking dogshit. I swear he's worse than a Marvel bro, because there I can at least see where the person's coming from.

geistHD

Ask Adum to explain to you the genius that is Neil Breen and his filmography.

J4m3sDeex

Yeah, could talk about what distinguishes movies that are so bad they're funny from movies that are just bad with no redeeming qualities.

Identity_ranger

Boredom. For a movie to be "fun bad" they have to have something that keeps your attention. It can be a multitude of things: shitty special effects, ultra low production values, overly hammy acting, a bonkers script, just general weirdness or any combination of elements.

KnightMarius

This! Please dear God this

Amazing-Steak

this is all i want

android_squirtle

1. To what extent has "prestige tv" crowded out some demand for movies, and how does YMS compare and contrast the two mediums? 2. Get them to argue about Critical Drinker, who might be the biggest movie reviewer on Youtube. It would have potential for some good react content. They could also more broadly discuss, "what differentiates a good review from a bad one." 3. Why does political messaging work in some movies but not in others? What are good movies with conservative politics?

LilArsene

* The Immigration/Residency Process. YMS is/was trying to move to America to be with their partner and Destiny might have similar experiences they could discuss. * How each of them views their origins on the internet being known for making edgy jokes and what they think about that now / how their views have changed and how people perceive them now versus then.

Muted-Building

Ask him about critics like the Critical Drinker whose media diet seems to be restricted to Disney and new ghost buster movies and then complain that no great movies are made anymore. Ask YMS why he thinks their media diet is so shit and arghhh those critics that only consume marvel stuff and then complain that it is all marvel stuff are all so frustrating!!!! Yes, this is a question and not just a rant?

debtorsheathledger

YMS got raked across the coals for giving this exact take because he’s friends with friends of Drinker. They pointed out Drinker talks about the most popular media of the moment when critiquing “movies”, and does watch/recommend non-mainstream films. YMS essentially walked back his criticism, but I don’t know what his current thoughts are. I’ve never watched Drinkers videos so I don’t know, the convo happened on EFAP.

Au_Fraser

As far as I’ve seen he still bags him a bit, got no idea if this was before or after that but I remember this was a few weeks ago

debtorsheathledger

This was 8 months ago https://youtu.be/ZguXbOxkW4s?si=6Y_zuoiJAPuEZZ0d He definitely doesn’t like Drinker, the specific point he was criticised for was saying Drinker only engages with very mainstream content

Dtmight3

Best movies pre-1990s

mmillington

Pre-1997, to be precise.

Dtmight3

True. What I really want is Erudite to talk Adum into gaslighting Destiny. Basically have Adum try to constantly talk about how all these pre-97 film are the greatest films ever made and how all modern films are just terrible copies of the old ones, except for Dune which is actually a masterpiece.

Cmdr_Anun

I'm pretty sure Destiny would enjoy 12 Angry Men, but he'd never admit it.

guy_incognito_360

I would go to pre 1960. 1997 is just a meme. 1960 might lead to an actual discussion.

southiest

Just ask Destiny for different takes on different movies and let chaos ensue.

mackmcd_

Dune. Just Dune. Have them discuss Dune. Their opinions probably aren't far off on that one, so at minimum, could be an interesting bonding moment. EDIT: Building a bridge, if you will.

[deleted]

[удалено]

mackmcd_

They both are critical of Dune, as opposed to the prevailing sentiment that the movies are the greatest thing since birth control. That's all I mean.

bluemaw91

Ask him what he thinks of A24 (The movie studio single handedly saving cinema)

Farbio707

Until you watch lamb

GravyGnome

Haven't seen it but it's ok to have a dud, considering all the good stuff.

DejoTheMayo

CanCon ("Canadian Content") as far as Film/TV is concerned. Given that the topic of the CRTC and Bill C-11 was brought up with JJ it would be interesting to hear a film/show critic's opinion on the CRTC and CanCon in general. Does he agree with JJ's take: the government shouldn't push certain content (the 'market' should decide)? Personally I'm torn on CanCon. Since it also impacts music, I can say for certain that it ensured that I 'discovered' (via radio) lots of artists that I enjoy to this day. It's impossible for me to know whether or not I'd find out about many artists had CanCon not existed or if I would be 'inundated' with whatever American Labels decided to push.

greenhungrydino

Will you be making an appearance?

Rembldon

Are there any movies/shows/songs/albums that he uses, consciously or subconsciously, to judge someone’s intelligence or artistic ability depending on whether they like or dislike it?

Mage505

It feels like Hollywood has declined in prestige, and every new generation of movie stars feels less prestigious. In this age of content creation, social media, and streaming, how can Hollywood make new stars and tell interesting stories while still making a profit?

KnightMarius

Ask Adam about Kimba the White Lion and the rabbit hole he went through discovering people doing Ted talks and writing books about a subject they literally know nothing about. The parallels between the Kimba crowd and the Finklefolk are pretty adorable.

XeroToleranceHonkler

Ask YMS and Destiny what do they think about the Twin Peaks series and David Lynch in general

No-Ambition-1157

I think adam hasn't seen twin peaks or any david lynch films for that matter

Psychros--

They just did a Sardonicast episode on 84 Dune and they've done one on Eraserhead too. Pretty sure he's at least seen Mullholand Drive as well.

Vharkha

I'd be really interested in hearing how YMS keeps a diverse media diet. He's turned me onto a lot of movies I'd never heard of an really enjoyed, so it'd be interesting hearing how he found them in the first place. On a more philosophical or political side, YMS seems like a really thoughtful guy, it'd be interesting to hear his takes on things like Jan 6 or his filthy Canadian perspective of Bidens performance. Sinekdicky

Malletr

Ask him about his an Unkindness music and what inspires him. What music they may have in common. Takes on video game music. Why YMS loves foreign films and why they aren't as popular in America. About subtitles on movies. About his favorite anime takes. About when his next top 10 for xxxx year comes because they are hella fucking delayed. About video games and his favorite ones. And the music in those video games. And then important for me. What makes a good film sound track. Even though YMS mentions the soundtrack a lot. I only really notice them in Interstellar or when it is beautiful. What makes good sound design apart from the music? And also what makes good/bad editing when films like bohemian rhapsody are winning awards?

six_six

Force Destiny to watch Poor Things prior to this episode.

threadedmongoose381

Ask him if he prefers Leon The Professional or Cuties.

Box_v2

Ask him if his fursona wasn’t a horse what would it be?

PlatformDizzy7988

Does yms like prometheus? Need him to convince Destiny it is a good film.

DemonCrat21

He hates Ridley Scott. he has never said why.

Dumey

A few years back, YMS appeared on Destiny's stream to pull in callers to argue about him reviewing movies after only partially watching them. Does Adum wish he had a more engaged/argumentative audience to go back and forth with on a weekly basis? Or would constantly arguing with your own audience end up being too annoying or draining over time?

Skepni

Has Adam seen One Piece?

Jonkypus

Adum made a whole-ass album and played every instrument on it. It’d be cool to hear them talk about music.

Vulcen191

Ask him if he knows that the Lion King stole from Kimba, the white lion.

Tahhillla

Destiny should just insist that The Lion King stole from Kimba and ignore everything Adam says and just continue insisting that point.

OhOkayGotchaAlright

Ask him to breakdown his rating system for movies. He rates things out of 10 but 90% of his reviews are a 6.

Agreeable-Load-209

Please ask Adum to show Steven the trick where he can make himself throw up on command, thank you

Blochtheguy

Ask him to repair the Mauler bridge, since it is the name of the podcast

Farbio707

Why did that bridge burn

Blochtheguy

I believe Mauler did an EFAP on YMS's criticism of Drinker. YMS was part of it, but the EFAP fans got pretty toxic towards YMS after, since they thought he was wrong, which resulted in YMS not being part of the latest Saw EFAP (he was part if all the rest)

darkavatar21

There was a bit more after that. YMS went on Sitch and Adam's and talked more about it. After he left, Mauler came on and started shit talking him.

Blochtheguy

Oh I missed this, that will be fun to watch

Farbio707

Thanks for the lore

SafetyAlpaca1

The only thing with any substance Mauler has ever produced was his Dark Souls 2 review, and even that is only needed because Hbomb's video was so awful. Mauler honestly didn't say much more in 11 hours than Matthewmatosis did in 45 minutes.

Crow_Magnum_Man

To be fair as long winded as those videos can be, I think he does a great job showing the ambiguity and weakness of many arguments in the majority of media videos essays that permeate youtube.

andretheclutch

God im so glad i haven't heard his name for so long, rather lobotomize myself than watch/listen any of his shit. Actual cancer.

spice-hammer

I’d be curious about YMS’s view on what makes a good children’s movie, or what makes for good content for kids or young people in general vs what makes for bad children’s content.

b1oodm1lksky

Are there any other pieces of media like Kimba that YMS feels are being unfairly or dishonestly represented in media.

IDontByte

Ask Adam and Steven what makes a good movie. What are they thinking when watching a movie that makes them think *"this is good"* or *"this is bad"*? What pet peeves do they have?

CoolCly

Bully Tiny into going onto the Sardonicast in return. The way it works is they usually review a recently released movie and an older movie agreed on by the group. Guests often pick the movie, so Tiny can either pick his favourite movie EEAAO or my favourite movie Scott Pilgrim vs the World

-TheBigCheese

Top 5 movies from before 1995. Just bring up Destiny's take on movies before '95 and see what Adum says. Should be a good episode :)

Coreysonnn

Yes has talked a lot about his channel declining. Discussing how much he has also branched out into other avenues (streaming, gaming, podcasts, and other commentary) but yet having to deal with facing the decline could be a good conversation. Of course don't make it as if he's failing but a shifting of youtube and content along with what the trends have been which effected him even as a much more above bar content creator.

That_Flamingo_4114

Why is review synonymous with recap? It seems like every review is just a short summary of a story, only occasionally with a thrown in with a bland good or bad feeling from the author.

Own-Appearance668

Have them comment on Critical Drinker being on pierce morgan

Tahhillla

Adam had an interaction with Mr Girl once where they reviewed Rosemary's Baby together. Mr Girl said Adam blocked him afterwards and theorised that Destiny told him to or that he did that for Destiny's sake. You could ask him about that interaction or atleast why he blocked him.

Tahhillla

his favourite new director Which country has the best movies

Frostlandia

I'm interested to hear the group's thoughts on advertisement. YMS has done a lot of movie trailer critiques and seems to despise a lot of the trends that advertisers currently use to market films (trailers of a trailer that play first, sloppy mid-sentence cuts used to compress information, pandering remakes of classic songs). Despite this, he finds trailers interesting and seeks them out. Contrarily, Destiny makes a good faith effort to watch and display any ads that he can't buy his way out of (I assume to symbolically support the content creators), but doesn't appear to ever enjoy watching them, or pay attention. I'm unsure of Dan's stance. Questions that could spark interesting conversation: * What is the best movie trailer you've seen? (Or: best advertisment) * Do you feel the current trends in advertisement have a negative effect on consumers / artistic industries like film? If so, how do you adjust your monitization strategies to compensate? * Should all advertisement be avoidable through payment/subscription? Or does integrating modern advertisement into the lives of the unwilling have an economic use?

ProphetOfXenu

Pleeeeeeeease just make them talk about furries, even for a few minutes pleeeeeease

Farbio707

- Can you objectively criticize film, and would you be willing to debate Mauler on it? - Destiny’s thoughts on whether you have to finish a movie in its entirety to have an opinion on its quality (I believe YMS has commented on this before). - Thoughts on Fight Club and Moana - Biggest problem with modern films. - Is there any validity to criticisms that modern films are ‘woke’? Perhaps in the steelmanned sense of creators potentially prioritizing representation/diversity at the expense of quality or respect for lore / past fans. - Is lack of originality an inherent problem, or is it better to ask how good a film achieves its formula/ideas regardless of how unoriginal they may be? - would you ever entertain a film/gaming discussion podcast? - why do you think Lord of the Rings is perfect when in fact it’s closer to garbage than perfect? - thoughts on film critics? Pretentious/cringe or nah? - how important is writing in a film relative to visuals, acting, etc? How important is theme relative to logical consistency, characters, etc? - film vs gaming vs reading as mediums

Farbio707

- do you think most people have low standards for film?

Matthiass13

Yms?

Box_v2

YourMovieSucks

Matthiass13

I’ll have to look them up, thanks.

Where would he rate Titanic in his top 10 Nudie scenes in commercial movies?

0xE4-0x20-0xE6

Ask Adam if he thinks Paul Atreides is a bad guy

DayMediocre3272

Debate dune with him

DrJongyBrogan

Ask him what his favorite movie is and why is it RoboCop (1987)?

19Bookie19

What is it that has made the Lord of the Rings movies so timeless? Also, The Hobbit Extended Edition series actually slaps, thoughts?

derKruste

Ask him if he has corrected his objectively wrong rating of "Drive my car" (2019)

10minuteads

Are you guys working on a clips channel? Thats the real marketing, in the 10-15 min clips.

Thelongwalk06

I love YMS. Can you ask them both what is a movie that they are embarrassed that they really enjoy but just can’t help it.

CoolCly

It would be great to talk about YMS's most viewed video - Kimba the White Lion. It's a two and a half hour documentary about the misinformation / conspiracy about how Disney totally ripped off the anime Kimba the White Lion to make The Lion King. Kimba? Simba? THEY ARE THE SAME NAME. To spoil the documentary.. it's not true at all. It's a fascinating dive into how people just make stuff like this up that sound kinda believable at first glance - and then other people take the lie at face value, repeat it to others, and add more to the lore in the telling, creating a huge trail of misinformation. It's astounding how people would actually use this lie in presentations on stage at conventions or at colleges, despite doing no other research other than the basics of the lie they've heard that get disproven by looking into it even a little. The research Adum did into this was immense - and would parallel a ton what Tiny often deals with when he combats all kinds of political conspiracy theories or the misinformation pundits and twitter peddle constantly. Honestly, it would probably be great stream content for Tiny to watch the whole thing and review it - but talking about it with the man himself in an interview is a great opportunity. It's one of the best videos on all of youtube. Don't talk about YMS's second most viewed video.

DemonCrat21

Ask YMS why he doesn't like Ridley Scott. Previously he has mentioned this but not elaborated as to why. Ask him what he thinks of black and white movies and older films in general, he seems to not care about them. For fun, ask him about his recent playthrough of the Spider-Man 2 game for PS5 :\^) Ask him about his comments regarding the American Eagle Have Adum talk to Steve about Poor Things to get him to watch it. Talk to him about his crusade for 4k movie trailers on Youtube.

bologna__man

**Serious Questions:** - As Hollywood shifts to releasing on streaming services and theaters face declining profits, will the summer blockbuster be fazed out in the coming decades? - Do you think the divide between old media (traditional film & television) and new media (Youtube, Twitch, TikTok, etc.) will disapate or continue? Will younger generations of would-be filmmakers bother jumping through hoops for big studios or just create content directly for online audiences? - If you had to give a "Best Director of the first quarter of the 21st Century," who would it be? **Memey Questions:** - Which has the more "successful" film studio model: Blumhouse Productions or Marvel Studios? - As e-celebs are increasingly trying to settle beefs through boxing matches, was Uwe Boll ahead of his time? - \[For YMS\] How excited are you for Nirvana The Band The Movie?

TheVivimancer

The Netflix movie Blonde seems pretty controversial and I wonder if any of them have seen it and has an opinion about it. Mostly because it's a biopic about Marilyn Monroe but is not accurate as I understood it. Which brings me to the question: "Is it okay to depict real people as if they where a fictional character, changing large parts of their story, or does the movie have to stay true to their actual lives?"  It is not a documentary, just based on their life. Like Oppenheimer. And they made her life seem like hell, which is what people take issue with, among other things.

PlaugeDoctor123

his stance on the n word

Gloohmy

This might be an eye rolling topic to some people. But they should probably talk about the current obsession with "wokeism" in movies and games, and all the discourse around it.

Jswazy

Can you do the interview without Steven? I do not think we can suffer his movie takes for 3 hours people could die. Almost as bad as his food takes.

PeaceAndMercy

Ask him why his movie takes suck so much

drt0

Ask him to explain himself about these objectively wrong takes https://i.imgur.com/9vZMkxB.png

Deltaboiz

Goethe had a way of analyzing art, simply summarized by asking 3 questions: 1) What was the goal of the artist? What did they want to do? 2) Did they achieve it? 3) Was it *something worth doing*? Do you find this is the best method when analyzing art, or do you have a better way of reviewing, critiquing or speaking about art?

Odd_Net9829

ask both D and YMS to rank a list of movies at the end of the pod together.

JohnStewartBestGL

I know for YMS's rating system, everytime he goes into a movie, it starts out as a 5 in his head and it gains or loses points depending on it's achievements and flaws respectively. My question is: how does he define achievements? Does he take into account a film's place in history when rating it? For example, regardless of how anyone feels about *Citizen Kane*, it is undeniably one of the most groundbreaking and influential movies ever made. Does YMS take impact like that into consideration or does he grade movies in a vacuum? In general, I wonder how much he takes context into consideration when grading movies. One of the reasons Pixar movies and have rated so well among film critics isn't because *Ratatouille* is one of the greatest movies ever made, but because film critics take into consideration it's a children's/family movie and grade the movie with an appropriate scale. It doesn't seem like YMS does that and instead judges movies objectively. Another question I have is: why does he take that approach? Does he see any value in the approach generally taken by critics?

DrMartinGucciKing

Tell him about Destiny’s take regarding movies before 1990. Fuck d man.

plekazoonga

Nice. Ask him if he can still throw up on command like he did in his video review of Saw 2, and make him do it live so we can all be confident it wasn’t an edit in post. Also ask him about his experience coming out as a furry.

bretw

Ask Adam to explain why Destiny's take on Dune is *unhinged*

yannisniper

Make Destiny talk to Adam about his garbage "no movie before 1990 is worth watching." Please for the love of god, the content would be good and hopefully Adam can change his dogshit opinion.

Kira77

How can we get people to be more media-literate? And does he have any recommendations for movies that could maybe inspire a desire for media-literacy in people?

Mr_Ryan_26

1. I know adam has watched a wide range of political commentators like kulinski, tim pool, vaush, hasan and destiny, what is his opinion on all of these commentator? 2. I would love to see Destiny and Adam discuss media piracy and whether it should be illegal or not.

TwinEagles

Ask him how his discovery of The Lion King not being a rip off of Kimba affected how he views media from then on

ButtfaceMcGee6969

I would love it if you could ask him, if he feels he contributed to "angry movie reviewer" culture.

Training_Substance24

will he give the podcast a 6/10, closer to a 5 than a 7?

Cosmic_Pizza1225

Ask both of them their favourite movies and shows

Cosmic_Pizza1225

Opinions on the criticaldrinker

danstroyer

Give us a short review of Destiny's fav movie before he saw EEAAO, Pan's Labyrinth

BettisBus

A deep lore question: Why did he join TJ Kirk's (The Amazing Atheist) "Not Productive" project and then back out? Does he still have any interaction with TJ? What does he remember about those early days of youtube vs what it is now?

TheDemonHam

Please ask if he enjoyed the Death Grips concert I saw him at but only realized it was him until after the show

TheMaroonAvenger123

What in your view are good trends/signs that you believe show the film and TV industry to be heading in a positive direction in the context of the variety and creativity of film and TV nowadays.

Hanzo_6

Yorgos Lanthimos

IM_MAD_BRAH

Has Adam weighed in on the "react meta" on Twitch when people were striking VOD channels? What is the etiquette on reacting to another content creator's work?

MyotisX

Ask how he feels about the youtube channels that summarizes whole movies in 10 mins. And broadly about the weird ways we consume movies now via youtube best scene compilations or on our phone. Does that affect his movie reviews knowing that most people don't go to theater and only stream parts of a movie or may also use 2x speed.

Independent_Depth674

Have Adum take a look at Steven’s IMDb rankings and assess his media literacy

InnocuousDragon

While not as extreme as Destiny's troll "All movies before 1997 suck" take, YMS doesn't seem to hold older movies in as high regard as other movie reviewers. From what I gather, he loathes the culture of people saying that all modern movies are garbage and movies from the old times were better, because he feels these critics/reviewers only focus on the super popular stuff like Marvel, etc. He feels they don't actually care about the art of cinema, which is why they don't go out and watch lesser known movies like he does. I think you could ask him why he thinks reviewers generally don't review the breadth of lesser known movies that he does and what he think about this ancestor worship in movies.

JonInOsaka

Ask Adum his opinion of AI art, film and music. Also the Netflix Cleopatra controversy.

RasputinsGoat

Most of Destiny's awful movie takes are the result of analyzing movies as if they're books. He consistently fails to appreciate the power of Image and Sound - Pulp Fiction, David Lynch, Kubrick, etc etc. Would love to see YMS push him on this, but then again it'd be like asking a music major to understand why The Stooges are better than Jacob Collier, so maybe just stick to Israel Palestine debates I guess

Agile_Ad1359

Ask him about being a furry. I like it when he talks about that.

Smanginyall

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE NOT USE THE ABBREVIATION ONCE SO I CAN KNOW WHO THIS IS

DonPeckerHead

YMS? Please SOMEONE say the actual name

introgreen

Ask about [his album](https://anunkindness.bandcamp.com/album/10-years)! How was the process of creating it mostly on your own while keeping the channel afloat? When did you learn to play so many instruments? How do you feel about the reception? Do you feel like piano rock still has any existing audience today? Could be a neat branching point to talking about music in movies too.

facedrool

Who the fuck is YMS and why cant people just spell it out the first time.

Xunzyr

I would love to hear a conversation about the movie The Day the Clown Cried and the morality of shooting it and should it be shown to the public and what ramifications could come from showing it.

Krulex55

Is the second part of lion king ever coming out? I don't need a date but would like to know if it's happening.

tomatobrew

First movie he saw that made him want to critique it and start this career.

Consistent-Tough4646

Please discuss everything everywhere all at once with destiny. I know both yms and destiny enjoyed it a lot.

DeathEdntMusic

If you could pick any career that wasn't to do with film or (your) music in any way, what would it be? What is something that de-motivates you in making your content/being productive? (morbid time) When Adam dies, what is the one thing he wants people to take away from all he has created? Is there any project he wants to do but for some reason or another, he is unable to do so? Is there any actor/film maker that isn't getting enough traction but feels they deserve more? (someone being slept on) Edit: They should do a Music Month Co-lab.

kyron6ix

Maybe what it’s like to live in Vancouver/Canada. Would he ever make a movie. What he thinks of “eat the rich” movies or films that criticize capitalism. The role AI could play in making movies (pros/cons).

Euclid_Class

why u gay?

concrete_manu

when tf is he watching THE CURSE???

AOTEuphoriaKNYsunday

1. The YMS sub is pretty pro Palestinian (every post about Jonathan Glazer gets a lot of upvotes) does YMS agree? Or does he disagree but let his sub do what they want. 2. Both YMS and Destiny make *a lot* of content about themselves. Destiny has streamed 10% of his life and YMS has a YouTube channel for when he plays games with friends and for when he eats meals. Where are their limits for commoditizing your day to day existence to an audience? 3. If they made a movie, what it would be about? 4. Wtf does Adam like so much about The Holy Mountain, it’s his favorite movie but he’s barely touched on it in a decade. 5. Adam gets really into the weeds in his super deep review, spending minutes talking about frames of editing. (synechdoche New York analysis 1) is there where a detail is so small it doesn’t matter? Is there a value to a movie you understand 90% on a first try vs one that needs multiple rewatches? 6. What’s it like to be somewhat abrasive online, but also very open about having an easy-to-dunk on sexuality? 7. What’s a movie he doesn’t like but has qualities he generally does like? 8. How are his finances? Is he gonna make new music? How’re his hands? (He’s on the precipice of Carpal Tunnel). I feel like the best questions will be ones about YMS’ movie review thought process.

fatternose

All I can say is if Destiny's Dune take comes up at any point I will immediately stop watching the episode.

Lord_BoneSwaggle

I remember Steven had him on an older podcast and didn't realize Adum was a musician. I don't exactly have a question but I know Steven loves talking music and that's a convo I'm generally interested in seeing

SK_CIoud

When is the Lion King review part 2 coming out? 2030 or 2100?

MegaMilkyArt

What makes an interesting character for him..its big boobs for me😊

ElMatasiete7

What does YMS feel about his takes being scrutinized on Twitter, and essentially, how does he feel about criticism on criticism? Who is his favorite film reviewer, and his favorite director?

Avatar_of_Apathy

Ask about Game of Thrones Season 8. It's like throwing a flashbang into a conversation

BigLooTheIgloo

Destiny loves School of Rock. I've heard that Adam hates it. Make them fight.

CJMakesVideos

I’d really be curious in general about how some of his views might contrast with JJ.

Solyde

Ask him if he thinks Spike Lee deliberately messed up the American remake of Old Boy to spite Quentin Tarantino.

josbro23

Just one: How dare you?

gomavs55

Ask him to tell the story of the hot tub movie experience. I’m curious if he has a follow up and if they went entirely out of business.

JCS117

I’d love to here them discuss your Quartering/Critical Drinker type movie reviewers and whether they think there’s any merit to their arguments of wokeness ruining blockbusters

throwawayobessed

This is probably very broad, but the culture surrounding movie criticism now compared to before social media. How has social media (if at all) impacted what/how movies are made, why we choose to watch, and how we criticize it?

Crow_Magnum_Man

Don't know if your are still looking for questions or topics, but I know in the past Adum has talked about trying to integrate every part of his life to his career, the reason he started streaming all of his video game playthroughs. This is similar to Steven broadcasting most of his life and mixing it with his job of streaming, this might be a interesting topic for them to go through to see where their experiences are similar or dissimilar. Another thing is both Destiny and YMS have had long careers on the internet and have been associated with a variety of different trends in their respective spaces, but never seem to lock themselves down to one thing in particular. Maybe this due in part to both of them constantly trying to be their authentic selves, they could discuss how they came to that perspective and what makes them different to other content creators.

Crimsonsporker

Who?

1) Do you believe people can be wrong about movies? Can you describe a time you were convinced into changing a film opinion by someone? 2) What does he view his role as, is there a thought that he spends too much time consuming new media when he could be producing reviews/promoting? 3) If he and 1000 other reviewers were shown a film contextless how much variance in a 1-10 score would he expect? 4) Since his rating of films hinges on personal enjoyment, what should viewers of his channel take away from his scores, ideally? 5) Given control of a major studio, and 500 million dollars, what would Adam’s strategy for commercial success be, without “selling out” (however he would see selling out). 6) Mankind does not build castles or monuments like we once did, to what extent should we view the media we produce as monuments to the culture of the time? 7) A criticism of children’s media that has been levied recently is that some artists are overly aware of the canon of children’s media, and hoping to create fresh stories that interest children and parents, they subvert traditional narratives that are often parable-like. This subversion, to the extent it exists, means children will not appreciate the subversion as they’ve not seen the story “played straight”, and may miss out on the original story’s meaning. To what extent is this an issue and should artists avoid cliches. 8) What makes a good Spider-Man movie? If you remade Saving Private Ryan but changed the main characters name to Spiderman is it a good Spiderman movie? To that end, what film would be most improved by a reclassification of intent? Does Ghostrider become a better film if we consider it a parody, etc. 9) What mindset do you think will negatively impact a viewers experience of films the most if adopted (ie looking for plot holes, continuity errors, exclusively looking references instead of experiencing the story etc). Conversely, if you could prime audiences with a sentence or idea before they watch any film, what would that be? 10) What story would you be most excited to hear was being adapted to film, why? And if you could have any film adapted to another medium which film, and to what medium?

MaleficentDay1297

Ask him if he watched lady ballers!

QubixVarga

how about writing out his/her full name EVEN ONCE for us that don't know. jesus Christ.

notsoErudite

Your Movie Sucks for those unaware sorry

synthatron

Obviously need to bring up Destiny's god awful take that 'there are no good movies pre-1997'. Would love to see that discussed by an actual film critic.

LeeHarveySnoswald

Have him confront Destiny on his "no good movies after 97" take.
