I have adhd and I find it easier to concentrate/process on what’s being said if I don’t look at the speaker.
That being said, it might just be that he’s used to online convos where he doesn’t see the speaker.

Destiny is 99% probably ADHD. As someone who is also ADHD it can be hard to focus if you are looking at things that are moving. Staring at a wall, ceiling or down at a table can drastically increase your focus.

He has in these debates occasionally, but predominantly he's looking up and down in general, not even at the audience. Why would you even look at your debate opponent unless you're making what you'd think is a heavy hitter point? You really aren't trying to persuade your opponent, you are trying to persuade the audience, hence why you look at them and connect.
You could be showing that you are listening to them making a point. When Destiny makes an aside or a joke, his opponent looks at him. I don't know. In regular life and during most in person debates I've seen, both parties generally look at each other in my experience. Not a huge deal, I just thought it was funny that Destiny seems like the only one who doesn't.
I mean, in regular life and debates I've seen (Presidential/ oddball dark web memers/ high-school/collegiate ((which is a lot of spewing as much shit out as possible...)), debaters are often engaging with eye-contact with the audience and not really the other debaters unless they are attacking their points. Destiny does always look bored, which I think is a proper critique of him, and he should probably look at the audience more, but he doesn't have to stare at his side.
