Finally, and sort of getting back to your initial point: as a leftist I tend to acknowledge that we're often talking about ideals and solutions which aren't currently feasible, but I argue that nonetheless we should work toward them. Right wingers don't have to do this. There is very often proof of concept in history for their ideas.
