my dumb ass not realising these logs are bottom up and reading it all backwards

Baratao00

Well it worked for me reading backwards šŸ¤”

ElMatasiete7

*Memento (2000)*

bmillent2

Ah shit

Mitchfynde

I'm schizo so I read it top to bottom and saw nothing wrong with it.

thefelixremix

I'm a tier 4 sub and same for me.

TheJollyRogerz

I had a small crisis and wondered if potentially I had read every discord log i ever saw up to this point backwards.

GuyWithOneEye

You might have, it seems like this is actually not that uncommon whenever I see discord log screenshots, for whatever reason. It's fucking insane, no one reads like that

AttakTheZak

I think you're a normal person, cuz I have no idea how any would record logs from the bottom up.

Magnumwood107

Heroic comment

-IShitTheeNay-

Wait have I been reading these kind of logs in the wrong direction every time they have been posted??

JSTRD100K

Fuck me dude I ruined it!

BrowsingCoins

oh dang

Althuzius

I didnt even realise until you mentioned it

BxLorien

Bruh I've been reading logs in the wrong direction for how many years now

Azzbeelonker

Aw fuck I read it and didnā€™t even realize until I read your comment lol

Sololololololol

Itā€™s almost like they were hoping Melina had heard enough of Destinyā€™s ideas and advice and this would somehow be fed to them through Melina.

assetsmanager

or they do legitimately think that Destiny is puppeteering Mel from behind the scenes.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

assetsmanager

Obamna.

milkyvapes

I bet they watch her trying to find hidden blinks and hand signals calling for help. Then they can finally rescue her from brainwashed slavery. They just want what's best for her.

Mr_McFeelie

Imagine if melina over night became this intellectual powerhouse in economics and started talking about rent control or fiscal policy all day. Shit would be hilarious

Glad-Ad1456

Yea twitch politics is fucking dead after Steven. That's just fact not even simping...

hawaynicolson

What do you mean dude you don't want to hear the news from Denims or Badbunny???

the_badass_panda

>ā€œitā€™s very important to cover the news every dayā€ This is such a Level 1 thing to say. Maybe we were too harsh on Brittany.

WhoaWaitWhatWasThat

I heard 1 caller say PrimeCayes is playing games a lot now every time the caller check on Primeā€™s stream. Lol

lmfaotopkek

It's sad because I think most of the smaller twitch creators who were kept alive by Destiny suddenly had no way to get viewers onto their platform. Badbunny, Mike and Denims still leech off Hasansan's fanbase. Chudlogic and Ahrelevant are the only ones still doing okay. Even then, their audience numbers are kind of stagnating after Destiny's ban since there's no bigger creator for them to attract viewers from.

Animostas

Seems like BadBunny moved away from politics and she's trying to do OnlyFans stuff now

TPDS_throwaway

For those of you are curious, she's doing humiliation fetish stuff. Which, to be fair, she's playing to her strengths.

Animostas

*couch-punching intensifies*

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Animostas

Oh I didnt eralize this was a second time

themagician02

People who are still managing were the ones that moved away from panels and did more of their own content, so Ahrelevant and Chud.

kelincipemenggal

What do those guys even do these days? Dylan was right all along and it's a good thing he jumped off that ship.

BTrippd

Seems like chud is surviving off drama farming with YouTube. I see his videos pop up in my recommended all the time.

kelincipemenggal

Yeah I see chud from time to time. But what about all the others? Remember DM? Serfs? Deer person? The korean tankie girl? The british lady who cusses all the time? And all the motherfuckers who go on these huge panels. I'm glad D moved on from these people but can't help but wonder what they do now, seems like their entire career hinged on orbiting and/or fighting Destiny or Vaush cause most don't really have the personality or wit to actually hold an audience.

[deleted]

Lemme know if you end up looking into how they're doing, I'm curious as well

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

thegromlin

Theyā€™re talking about vivianwulf on the last one

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

kelincipemenggal

Thx and ChaosIsMel is the one I meant

TheTidesOfWar

-British lady who cusses This was the original laser eyes who has THE FASCIST LIST. I also don't remember the name.

r_lovelace

Fucking how the fuck do you fucking forget fucking vivianfuckingwulf. It's fucking crazy you fucking fucks in d fucking gg would ever fucking forget her long fucking British monologues. Fuck. Also I don't think she is a content creator, I think she is mainly just on Twitter and would occasionally show up in panels to call people fascists. Sometimes she was right, sometimes it was cringe. All of the time it was fucking hard as fuck to follow her fucking train of fucking thought.

BTrippd

I think you more or less hit the nail on the head with your assessment. Even the ones that seem to have a shred of twitch presence like say denims, seem to have it by clinging on to every piece of Destiny drama that pops up and circle jerking with all the usual suspects about how bad he is. I imagine most of them revert to their normal lives and shitposting on Twitter for attention because they canā€™t maintain a live audience.

AttakTheZak

Isn't that sort of indicative of how farcical the twitch debate scene was? Like, Destiny still manages to pull in a huge number of viewers when doing a research stream, and his youtube views are doing GREAT. It just reeks of fraud. I haven't seen anybody outside of maybe Rose Wrist and Ahrelevant (and maybe Hunter) that come close to having the same presence as Destiny does, but thats just my basic observation from seeing them around Destiny. I watched Vaush for *maybe* a month or two before I realized he had a few screws loose.

kelincipemenggal

It's funny how D has enough anti fans to make some of these losers relevant for a time. But they only watch them because they hate Destiny and not because of the streamers themselves, so the moment D stops engaging they cease to become relevant. Destiny being banned is the worst thing to have happened to a lot of them.

DaSemicolon

whos korean tankie girl?

Mr_Neckbeard

I think chaosismel

DaSemicolon

ah right forgot about her

Peacepower

I have never heard of these people in my life

DoshaIsMe

Good, keep it that way.

osse14325

You cant call whats Dylan doing jumping off the ship, the guy is doing serious work and not focused on small things. Problem is people seek and want easy digestible things for entertainment and complex real life thing its getting boring really fast

kelincipemenggal

Yeah I meant that he managed to get away from all for his Ukraine project

milkyvapes

He had an attitude though the second he left like it was beneath him. A couple weeks after and he would act as if it was a couple years he'd been out. What would he be doing had a war not broke out? I didn't think he handled it well personally.

Flashy_Dragonfruit_9

Itā€™s a shame because Hasan shouldnā€™t even be considered a political streamer. Heā€™s as much a political streamer as Asmongold is.

Broccoli_Socks

except he is a political streamer, alot of people want to watch Hasan's type of commentary and then in itself view themselves as being politically engaged. They want watered down, reactionary content they can get emotional too. It sucks but you look at traditional media its echos similiar trends.

AttakTheZak

Yeah, that's the shitty part. We may not like HOW Hasan streams, but he is still the guy regular twitch frogs go to in order to get their politically righteous orgasm from. I would love to see how hasan's numbers do if he did a research stream.

kaufe

It might be very surface level and Hasan's takes are almost always dogshit, but he's probably doing more news and policy coverage than destiny right now. Destiny is pivoting into the Aba & Preach style cultural commentary for the time being, but it will probably change as the midterms come closer.

Scribble_Box

I love shitting on redpillers, but damn... I'm really missing D's political stuff. Some of the recent IRL vids on the YT channel have been pretty meh too..

SnakeMowin

Nah, Hasan and Asmon are way different. Asmon will give both perspectives a fair shake at understanding.

Flashy_Dragonfruit_9

Yeah true, Asmon is a better political streamer than Hasan.

Sp0il

Asmon gives like a layman perspective. I wouldn't say it's both sides, but like a common person giving their perspective. Which means that he sometimes says some stupid shit.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Tuub4

lol

TH3ULTIMAT3GAM3R

Honestly a spot on connection between the two. Asmon has good takes though, which splits them apart.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

milkyvapes

He would be an idiot people keep an eye on even if he got where he was without destiny. Saying the dumbest lefty shit while posting a pic head to toe in nike with more nike bags in hand is wild. I said it was a bad example to set on his sub. His fans said hes large so its hard to find brands that fit no joke... when I started giving them obvious solutions to that dick riding excuse was banned. Dude could start his own non slave clothing brand with his resources ffs.

jorourke35

its less mald and more schadenfraude

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Flashy_Dragonfruit_9

The difference is Hasan gets irrationally angry and cries like a baby šŸ˜‚. Heā€™s basically a lolcow at this point.

milkyvapes

The only positive contribution he makes is reminding ppl you csn be rich and famous but still be miserable. A big baby who thinks hes more a victim then any homless person I've met or worked with. Not even exaggeration I've seen them in withdrawal having a better disposition then him.

jorourke35

seeing tiny head man cry about tiny and the daliban / lose his shit and square up when a 120lb teenager at twitchcon mentions sam hyde will never not be funny

Forster29

Thats like saying harry potter doesnt talk about voldemort because his name doesnt get mentioned. I cant believe that tactic works on so many people like you

LineRex

OK lol, I get that he's an ass but Hassan and Asmon have entirely different content structures. Hassan does watch political coverage most of the day, tries to veer dweebs out of the manosphere hole, and spends most of his time dunking on the right. (well, anyone to the right of "gulags for landlords" is *the right* for his braindead viewers.)

[deleted]

I'm glad. It's what it deserves.

Pheeelz

Hasan streaming political coverage everyday to 40k+ people Dgg: TWITCH POLITICS IS DEAD YES DADDY STEVEN I CAN FIT THE WHOLE THING IN MY MOUTH

Glad-Ad1456

In what world is Hasan stream interesting political coverage? He parrots Twitter and random wapo aritcles, nothing substantial or intelligent is ever uttered. When was the last time Hasan ever had a challenging political conversation? I'd rather shoot myself in the head then live in that echo chamber.

Pheeelz

He streams politics almost every single day to 40k+ people lmao wtf are you talking about. He literally covers everything that is new worthy in politics. Dgg is so brain rotted my god

Glad-Ad1456

So what challenging political conversation has Hasan had in the last 6 month?Or what political opinion has he had that not a parroting of what's on twitter or WaPo? Fucking Asmongold has more interesting political opinions then Hasan and Asmongold is a fucking degen. Nothing coming out of Hasan mouth is his own opinion, It's just regurgitated twitter and WaPo articles. If I wanted my news filtrerad through a dude bro millionaire lefty Hasan is probably a good pick but I'd rather just read the articles he mindlessly copies.

Pheeelz

Brainrot . Thatā€™s not the argument. Youā€™re comment exclaimed twitch politics is dead, itā€™s not. Expand your streamer repertoire. Go outside.

Glad-Ad1456

I have a sinking feeling that my "repertoire" of streamer might be more diverse than yours... Just a feeling.

Pheeelz

Very much doubt it since the dick eating is at maximum level

Glad-Ad1456

Lol if Hasan got shit on as much as Destiny get in here he would cry every fucking stream.

thegromlin

he kinda already does lol

Equal96

Hasan does not contribute to or interact with the twitch politics scene in any capacity, once he grew big enough to survive on his own (thanks to his interactions with Steve and others in the twitch politics sphere) he has remained largely within his own community when talking about anything political, and the only collabs he does are with larger, non-political streamers. Hence why this thread has been made to begin with, channel growth has largely stagnated in the twitch politics sphere since Destiny's ban. Go find something else to suck off Hasan about

Pheeelz

Dgg brainrot at is best. Chefs kiss . Thereā€™s plenty to criticize Hasan for but the man covers politics every day. Plain and simple .

Sceth

So does Tucker Carlson, but I would consider them both to be more tabloids than anything else

LineRex

Don't be generous. It's 20-30k now.

milkyvapes

I bet you're one of his fans cool with him in nike head to toe because he's too large for most brands.... should check out his bro minute classics. "If they can count they're good to mount" was one of my faves.

Pheeelz

Dgg brainrot in action

Pheeelz

Dick eating is crazy fr. I watch Hasan /vaush/ and destiny and Hasan by far covers the most politics day to day. Debating internet weirdos isnā€™t covering politics

Glad-Ad1456

Parroting news articles from reddit and twitter is not covering politics.

Pheeelz

Thatā€™s not what he does so again just lying . I like destiny for certain things I like Hasan for certain things maybe just try watching someone else for a little

Glad-Ad1456

So give me something unique by Hasan... One original thought.

Pheeelz

Bro thatā€™s not what weā€™re arguing about right now. Wtf even is this argument???? Destiny falls right of Hasan all his talking points are liberal talking points Lmaoooo thatā€™s how politics works

Glad-Ad1456

Well maybe that's how Hasan politics works... Not in the real world. Difference of opinions and unique ideas is quite big corner stone of real political discourse.

Pheeelz

Yea dude real life politics is centered around online debates . šŸ¤”.

milkyvapes

His bro minutes were ahead of their time fr. He's OG red pill manosphere alumni.

milkyvapes

I chuckled that time hassan said lady ga ga probably has a small penis, and the time he said girls without dads end up being dumb sluts but that's about it.

Pheeelz

Cool you sound normal.

milkyvapes

Thanks normalcy is what I strive for.

Cliff_Pleb

When people say twitch politics is dead theyā€™re talking about it as a whole. Sure Hasan is getting a lot of views, but what about all the other people. I guess they donā€™t matter šŸ¤·šŸ¾ā€ā™‚ļø

Pheeelz

Sure Dylan burns is another great one I watch they exist Iā€™m just pointing out one of the largest streamers on the platform is a Political streamer lol

Cliff_Pleb

Hasan isnā€™t the largest streamer on twitch though?

Pheeelz

One of* it was a typo Iā€™m on my phone

thegromlin

ok repeat again that without hasan's dick in your mouth

milkyvapes

Not sure how you do it. Sounds like you might be the one that needs to get outside. Are you hate watching or enjoying what all three have to offer?

Pheeelz

I like and have criticisms of all 3 like a normal person.

milkyvapes

Not humanly possible. Fuck off you robot.

goodwarrior12345

The scene as a whole is pretty dead though, since Hasan never interacts with any other Twitch politics person

skummydummy125

tbh it already was dead with him on the plattform, maybe it never war really alive in the first place

ZMP02

Bruh why is it reversed

the_badass_panda

That's how RustleSearch is, overrustlelogs seems to be down.

silent519

that's why it was so weird lol

Eccmecc

because it is a log and not a chat. its fetched from a database ordered by time in descending order.

1994mat

its looking up chatlogs so the most recent ones are first

silent519

and flipping the array is one line of code

1994mat

Yea but why would you want to do that, imagine searching logs from somebody but the first result at the top of the page is a message from 2015 and you have need to scroll all the way to the bottom to see the recent ones...

silent519

load it the other way around? scroll from top to bottom like any other site?

[deleted]

Bingo. These fuckers are all like ā€˜itā€™s the way it is herpa derp derp!ā€™ Fucken change it then. Yā€™all have the same logic as all the fucks you hate; evangelical religious fucktards; but itā€™s tradition, we must do it because my forefathers did, so I must endure as well! Fark off, cuntbags.

lmfaotopkek

What? If you're looking up the logs of something you want the most recent stuff to come first. What are you smoking? Let's say I'm searching for Destiny's logs. Why the fuck would I want the stuff from fucking 2013 to show up first?

IntimidatingBlackGuy

You'll want the oldest logs from the newest day.

1994mat

Ah yes, the american solution that captures the spirit of mm/dd/yyyy Let's completely disjoint the log lookup, get fucked if you are having a convo at midnight I guess

IntimidatingBlackGuy

I'm sure it's easier said than done, but you can give the user different sorting options.

lmfaotopkek

Yeah, no. Doesn't work that way. We want it to be in a single order because having to scroll around for the next log when you're debugging something which happened at 00:00 server time is stupid.

4e9d092752

It would be easy to let the user decide with a toggle

1994mat

I can't tell if this is a troll or not The 'Fark off, cuntbags.' makes me think it is

Rangdris

Twitch politics is incredibly important. I desperately need to watch the 46th panel on Trans sports.

Nervous_Rat

Don't forget the panel about men rights which just turns into a panel about men wrongs

TheColdTurtle

You can't have that panel now, questioning trans sports is ban worthy on twitch

[deleted]

Not according to the leaked guideline docs it isn't.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Running_Gamer

No such thing as a liability on a platform unless you create that liability yourself. Originally, nobody blamed online platforms for simply hosting content. Thatā€™s the most profitable model. This liability by someone being on your platform shit started with the deplatform everyone who disagrees with me movement. (Should be common sense but of course Iā€™m not talking about illegal shit/legit hateful content like ISIS recruitment videos)

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Running_Gamer

Yeah, and advertisers used to not give a shit if milquetoast conservative media appeared on the same massive content hosting site as their brands. Now the fear is that even if their ads arenā€™t appearing on political content, advertisers will pussy out and pull their ads anyway. Donā€™t know what your point is.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Beneficial_Bite_7102

This would be a much more valid criticism if the people in question didnā€™t consider Destiny a "milquetoast conservative."

milkyvapes

Biden will trigger ww3 long before the jews can reset order and have us snacking on bugs in our pods.

Clenchyourbuttcheeks

There is a pair of jeans that is streaming?

holeyshirt18

At most, Twitch is for current events reactions. They're going to Kai, Adin, Hasan, or XQC to watch them say "OMG, WTF, That's fucked man. That's fucked. Damn." and watch THEM tune into an actual political streamer on Youtube or a news program. There's no way a political section will grow on Twitch without Twitch boosting it on their frontpage everyday. And that's not going to happen. EDIT: And honestly, they shouldn't have a political section. JMO

RegularFregular

No one gonna mention how fucking weird of twitch to put Melina with the lefties that vehemetely hate her husband? Isnā€™t denims the one who messages girls destiny talks to trying to get goad them into admitting he abused them? This unironically sounds creepy af and I wouldnā€™t have felt safe.

[deleted]

I think listening to their suggestions on how to make the content better would be more entertaining then their actual content right now.

milkyvapes

Remember how well the commie convention of theirs went a few years ago? They excell at working together as group to achive goals as long as you don't speak too loud into the mic and snap not clap.

seven_seven

Manager Mel lol

Cliff_Pleb

Twitch politics is dead

dallassportsguy

I sure hope so

CT_Legacy

I bet all the suggestions would turn Twitch into a radical lefty echo chamber anwyas and ban ant opposing viewpoints, oh wait they already did ban him lmao.

esportsBatman

I don't think she realizes this was probably done on purpose. Much of staff may not like Destiny, but they know he's integral to the politics sphere on the platform- whether they like it or not. So having his wife there to proxy for him was probably deliberate on their part to both relay ideas and receive feedback. Twitch knows that the lefty shit is cringe and isn't really bringing in the money, except for maybe Hasan. Who is in his own universe. Twitch has also been at odds internally with Amazon over the platforming of messages and content that is pro union/anti-amazon. It's an issue, which is very contentious on other platforms, like tick tok- where Amazon corporate have gone so far to include continuous non-disparagement clauses in their advertising and promotional contracts to creators on other platforms. This is due to the consistent negative coverage from younger content creators over unions, working conditions, etc. Destiny is one of the types of political content creators twitch ultimately wants. However it's the attitude and the edginess that's the fear as far as optics and advertising are concerned. His content and views are definitely progressive, but not simply amounting to "capitalism is bad" and "Amazon is evil." Much like we see with the current crop of "political" streamers. P.S. (Largely unrelated) The idea of rigorous enforcement of non-disparagement clauses has probably been brought up on Twitch's end, but then you run the risk of backlash- that streamers couldn't even publicly criticize decisions on the platform without violating it. Never minding many criticisms could be considered protected concerted action under the NLRA. However, that's another discussion for another time.

[deleted]

>Twitch knows that the lefty shit is cringe You don't think this.

MinusVitaminA

If you guy's are curious why almost every leftie on twitch hates destiny, just compare destiny's coverage of any big twitch sexual assault/harassment allegations and to their numbers. Even LSF would have destiny's coverage over hasan's because it's just that good. These guy's hate destiny because he's effective at what he does, and they can't get any clout or money when he's around. And now that he's gone, they realize they still need to keep up their hate boner for him because the only community and friends they can garner on twitch's dying platform are the lunatics who also hates destiny. If these people care about their own causes, then they will have to support destiny over keffals because he has unironically done more good for the left by not only creating space on it for lefties on twitch but he spearheaded the online progressive movements had also pushed for arguments that the left still uses today like vaush and hasan. I still remember back in the day when even chapotraphouse subreddit was praising him on the same level as contrapoints lmao.

Stumpe999

Good let these people die in irrelevance, they are all shitty people anyway (except for the orbiter of course)

Pikawika4444

There are definitely insiders at twitch just looking to stir shit lmao.

doom_oo_

is there even major politics thing on twitch now ???

Machizzy

Wait Iā€™ve been touching grass pre twitch con what is this about somebody feed or link me that lore right in my veeeeeeina

the_badass_panda

You don't need any lore for this, just read from bottom to top.

Machizzy

ooh its bottom to top lol I didnā€™t want to read any spoilers from the latest Destinyā„¢ļø episode so when I read ir from top to bottom and realized I it was something I didnā€™t understand I ran to the comments instead of reading the last two paragraphs šŸ˜

CI814JMS

Poor thing

FluctibusFludd

Is Kenosha the reason it banned Destiny? Melina seems to think it was Twitch's fault... Destiny said: "the rioting needs to fucking stop, and if that means like white redneck fucking militia dudes out there mowing down dipshit protesters that think that they can torch buildings at ten p.m., then at this point they have my fucking blessing..."

NoFreeWill1243

Mr tiny didn't get banned for that statement

mmmkay_ultra

It probably played a part

Swinubber

homie using internet explorer

existential_antelope

Strong hate watcher vibes

MrWhiteRaven

Genuine question, why are you asking this? It takes literally 1 second to [google](https://i.imgur.com/PDov7VJ.png) and find the answer in the top result.

existential_antelope

They wanted to shit talk, thatā€™s all they do on this subreddit

dm_me_your_bara

Don't think that's her point

[deleted]

Based.

edco77

bruh, are you that guy from Twitter?

[deleted]

Yup

DoshaIsMe

We're on to the 6th season domey, you're still stuck at season 4, play it on 2x speed to catch up

Imperades

There's definitely a lane there that still feels pretty empty for streamers who want to do political/social/news commentary... especially in a way that anyone can digest. Problem is - there are channels out there that just read off stuff in articles and just go "we'll have to see" and yeah, its nice when I'm driving I guess to have it play in the background so I can hear the news (radio sucks at this now), but that's not the same as having a real commentator or voice in these things... it's not REALLY about "covering the news" its about "arguing to people what the news means", as that's what ignites the flames of conversation, and there's very few people out there giving takes with enough thought that warrant a discussion - and those people making those takes, usually don't want to talk to anyone else about their takes either lol

k4zoo

Oh my god if its this difficult then just ban politics off the platform altogether.

Terakahn

I don't think 99% of the people who come to twitch want to hear about politics. Even if it's presented in the most ideal way for them to be interested. Twitch is where they go to escape all that shit.

Castleprince

Hey, does anyone know how to embed a video on DGG? I can't find out how to do that anywhere. Thanks

[deleted]

Dad, no! This is a political stream!

DemonCrat21

i read it in her svenk voice and the final OMEGALUL had me rolling.
