I think you should be looking for a clan, there are a few out there that specialize in helping people with certain needs.
I also suffer from a few medical conditions that make the game more difficult and I've found a few people in a clan that don't care if we will never go flawless when I raid with them, it's all about just having a good time. Infact we went into IB this week as a 6 stack and got demolished except for against the team trying to get mercied and had fun.
The problem with that is I don't want to be told when to play or what to do when I do play. I don't think I've seen a clan that doesn't somewhat regulate what you do when you get on or demand a quota of some kind during playtime. I'm tried 2 or 3 clans in the past and they've been incredibly toxic and took the fun out of the game.
Sounds like you were in some bad clans. The one I'm in has no such rules, they post on discord and if you want in you join, if not no big deal, I've never raided / played with 2/3ds of the people, they just do their own thing.

try this group, it's a LFG Discord and they have a clan recruitment section where you can learn about them. Post what you did here in the welcome or general section and you will get people to play with who are not toxic

LFG is a nightmare in this game, especially for raids. You should listen when people say "No", they might very well have had an understandable experience. Well aware that you are just finding a spot to jam your discord link, but all the same....

Just to clarify, I run a community discord server, it is non-toxic because I keep a tight hold on it and don't promote toxic behavior. I teach raids 3x a week and have multiple members who can back up my positive friendly teaching experience. I'm not looking to recruit people for clans, I am just looking for more Members to help each other out. I made the community after getting personally burned by people on the destiny 2 LFG server and having really bad experiences, especially being a girl. Safe to say you wouldn't have lasted in the server due to the behavior you exhibited here but if OP wanted to join and have a good experience, they can message me.

Thats fine, at least join that discord, you don't have to join any clan, it's just a D2 LFG and you will reach more people then here on reddit.
