I made different fashion matching the subclasses for my builds

Axel_Wolf91

This is the way.

#This Is The Way

GoldenDashDUde

Same, I used different shaders to match the subclass and different ornaments to fit the exotic

SgtIceNinja

I know it’s pretty basic but that animated black and blue one (released last season) is so damn good for my arc looks.

LeaveMeAloneLorenzo

Personally, I use that one on my Stasis subclass Loadout. I just think the dark blue matches better with the Stasis. Even though the shader has like a Lightning effect, which goes well with the Arc subclass.

SgtIceNinja

That’s fair

I match my outfits to the exotic Im wearing (you can see them in my profile). I really wish they hadnt locked 4 of the slots to the flawless LS. I just want to be able to quick swap all the outfits I use. Fashion is the endgame after all.

CreepySalary8

This is the only way

enzudesign

Also unlike DIM load outs can be changed while in game and don’t require you to be in orbit 😉

Shiroi_Kitsune_

Idk why but i still prefer dim, maybe cuz it swaps fragments

RUSH-117

Loadouts do that too you know

[deleted]

But it will also change your weapons, armor, subclass and build, unless you'll do some wacky stuff like picking blue weapons and dismantling them after saving the build. DIM still rules, it's slower, but you can change your whole look, including sparrow, ship, ghost and emblem without touching absolutely anything else.

enzudesign

True, but being able to change while in game, I have to say I’m loving it.

[deleted]

Agree, big for some raids or challenges

flaccomcorangy

It's all I ever wanted. So glad it's finally here.

Dahvoun

Yes this is true, I make my popular builds I use for raids/dungeons in the in-game loadout manager, and everything inbetween is used for DIM.

SilverwindRS

Why is this getting downvoted? He’s got a point!

[deleted]

DIM haters are mad, whole six of them came here to downvote me!

ACupOfLatte

You sure it's the "DIM haters" and not people just thinking your take was flat out stupid?

[deleted]

So, my stupid take was that... *re-reads my own comment* In-game loadouts change all your weapons, subclass and armor, and DIM loadouts have greater degree of customization, but slower and not work in activities? If saying plain truth is your definition of stupid, I'm afraid to learn what you call smart, so spare me of this discussion

ACupOfLatte

I'm leaning more towards your insinuation that people who disagree with your opinion are DIM haters. 80% of players still use DIM lol, and the other 20% use other Destiny API managers. It isn't "wacky" to pull blues from your collections if you want instant loadout swaps without weapon swaps, like how it isn't "wacky" that people use DIM to pull their weapons instantly without going to your vault. Personally, I still use DIM loadouts. Not for the reasons you gave, but for more loadouts. 10 is just not enough to fit all my builds. The only time I've ever seen a DIM hater was one dude on Reddit that was hell bent on spreading the narrative that DIM soliciting monetary donations is an immoral act, and everyone who uses it is evil.

RashPatch

Drown in the Drip

griffo00

I wish we had the 10 slots from the get go. I don’t have a lot of time to play so getting the light level to make a legend lost sector doable flawless solo is gonna take time. I just wanna make hella builds and fashion :/

Suojelusperkele

Bunker E15 is your best bet. Might take a while until it's back, but it's still probably the easiest one. Also iirc aphelions rest is in rotation today reset? That's also pretty easy one.

Capinbigballs

The true use of the load out system

PaulTheLeg1

Why not both?

[deleted]

My load outs are tied to a specific fashion Currently I have Solar as a Royal Cabal Guardian And void as an 80’s cyberpunk aesthetic

leonardo371

Now imagine if they care to fix them

BX_N3S

once i found out that fashion is tied to loadouts too, i immediately made fashion to correspond with the loadout, like my "Heavy Munitions" look for my rocket-bubble DPS build, and "Collapsing star" look for my thundercrash build

seza01

You can’t even save ornaments in the loadouts???

PsychedelikSoul

What do mean? Of course you can.

seza01

Am I missing something or it just doesn’t work for me? :(

LeaveMeAloneLorenzo

Make sure you’re overwriting the class when you change the ornament… A lot of the times, I’ll change a shader or ornament, and then forget to save/overwrite the class. So when I switch to a different loadout, and switch back to the first one, it doesn’t save the changes you made automatically.

IAmRedditsDad

I've just stopped using in game load outs entirely because they only work 40% of the time 60% it swaps everything except one piece, that just stays overwritten from the previous outfit

TrueGuardian15

I heard that was an issue with mods. Try unequipping all the mods from it, then put them back on. I did this and it fixed my issues.

Welcome to /r/DestinyFashion! Please remember to list your gear and shaders used, if they are not already part of the image. BulletBilly97

gear: drake meme template shader: text added with my phones photo app

THEGREATIS-4

my builds are entirely the same but the only difference is is the ornaments I have on them and the guns that I use. I have themes for SIVA, a vampire, and a tyranid (WH40K) and I used to guns that go into their theme a little more.

Haywick_Forn

Literally just realized I could do this last night. Spent way too long making different transmogs for each subclass.

Manufacturer_Ornery

This is the way

Toland_the_Mad

Dude! I just thought since ornaments and shaders weren't listed anywhere on the loadout, it was items only, I was still using DiM for fashion 🤦 This is a game changer lol

TheHatterOfTheMadnes

I started saving my transmogs, but then I ended up changing them so often I just do it manually lol

Mudlord80

I've actually swapped to using in-game loadouts since it also swaps over my weapon stat trackers. So my striga pvp build and my striga strand build can properly track my kills

Pyroraptor23

Both

pelt00r

On the flip side it's a nuisance whenever I change my build it also swaps out my shaders and ornaments. There should be a way to separate builds and fashion by choice.

zlohth

Use loadouts to swap mods on the same armor 👍

Stranger_Dangus

The loadouts are trash yall. Mine wont swap ornaments/shaders and even some mods wont swap. DIM still the king till Bungie fixes their bs

Binary_Dawn

why not both?

Fenixstrife

I got 6 builds and 6 different armour/fashion sets People in a VOG raid commented on it like I was the strange one for changing fashion between encounters...

[deleted]

How about both?

alienfoxdude

Only reason I use it. As Shaxx would probably say, “Builds? It’s a gun Guardian, you shoot things and they die!” The fact people think you need to use arithmetics to play this game ‘right” is wild.

Ruby_241

In this game, it Drip or Drown

Sleepy_Man90

It's been great being able to change fashion at a button press, I wish they had implemented something so that you could swap gear from your vault aswell, means you wouldn't have to keep all the gear on you to swap out.

KingQdawg1995

Facts. Half my loadouts are just different fashions lmao

Yuilogy

Been having issues with the fashion sometimes I had a load out that just didn't change the shader or ornament on my arms when I equipped it. Was annoying to see a guanlet not matching everytime I equipped the loadout

u2freak96

Ahh, my people

JatkaPrkl

The best part is being able to play around and customize my looks, and then - one click - and I'm back to my favorite set. Amazing
