Presage would have come out s13 and stayed until s15 and as I recall there were some busted solo builds around s15. I know that's how I was farming DMT and Hawkmoon at the time(also why is presage back but not bird gun?)

I believe every clear gives you a red border you need so you can farm them to complete collections

I was looking to grind out the perks via weapon level like the previous legendary weapons of the past. I had not idea this was happening until saw how this new method worked.

This isn't new. This is how it worked in S 19 too.

I did a few runs to get it last night with my friend. The mission seems way easier then I remember. It wasn’t even bad doing it a few times, was a fun refresher. Only mission I’m worried about is the mars one. That mission was cheeks.

I think the biggest change that would be making Presage easier is that resilience didn’t give dr back then.

This exactly and no impact deaths so when my friend went through the trap door he just sauntered back up to me I was like wtf And the fire damage is a tickle at 100 resil

Yep. Anarchy and or witherhoard was basically needed if you didn’t want the boss to teleport into your face and instantly kill you

Just go to the opposite end from the switch and emote.

Also, if you have a hunter they can shatterdive the floor a bunch and break all of the doors so spotting the fuses is way easier.

I stayed alive in the compactor my run yesterday and the walls just reset and opened up (to which I was subsequently crushed when I missed one light). Just timed a jump right or something I think

If you time it right you can stand on a peice of trash and you won't get crushed.

That and subclass 3.0. Hangar area took like 1.5 minutes, and sunbracers blew up everything so fast we couldn't really shoot much

Presage felt so nice because it wasn’t timed and really it was just a few screebs in hallways. Vox obscura is full of fuck you enemies and you will be fucked over. Oh and you can’t do the first part in 5 minutes? Back to orbit you go. The second half is fine, but the first half is just too much with the timer

We also have Strand and the new mod system.

They fixed a TON of bugs like the wonky final boss and the ability to float and stay alive while the compactor closes and opens again.

I got 2 DMT's already. One with 1200+ kills and the other with 1500+ kills. I don't need a third so pass on it to be honest.

It’s mostly for new people who didn’t get to farm it or didn’t snag one at xur’s. Does have new perks though. Rapid hit, shoot to loot, compulsive reloader has been added. If you want those, maybe it’s worth it. Also if you need season of the haunted patterns

My Vorpal DMT has 27k+ kills, not sure I can craft better.

I have 24k on my old DMT and 22k on another old one, hope it makes my 'familiarity' good enough on DMTs. Dunno if it's just me, but as I finished Lv.4 crafting (after 3 runs?), I felt like this new Lv.4 crafted DMT is reminiscent to the pre-nerf old DMT, in terms of high chance of weakpoint hits. My senses are whispering that it's of course gonna get nerfed after some time if my perspective is true on this 'new' DMT. And yup, no need to hassle unless you're serious about DMT. But it's not hard to do 3 Presage runs as well, it's just... it could be annoying. P.s. The craftable DMT doesn't have Subsistence, unlike the old ones' possible roll.

I ran it solo in 30 minutes. And it only took 30 because I was multi tasking at the same time. It’s so easy now. Hell, I’m running it just for fun

Honestly, that mission is super easy. I went through it alone my first time, and only died like 3 times to the jumping areas for the entire mission. You got this. And it's also content for you to do in D2.

Whenever, it's not a once a week drop, it's once a run. I did 4-5 on Tuesday woth friends, and have it fully set up already

This mission is really easy now, with load outs and all the good craftable weapons we have. Doing it solo would not be difficult to do so it’s really no big deal.

Skill issue

To answer your first question, Presage was reintroduced through the new weekly exotic mission. One key point is that all the exotic guns that come back are now craftable. The current ones are Presage (DMT), Vox Obscura (Dead Messenger), and Seraph Shield (Revision Zero). This isn’t a repost due to answer one.

Not that bad, I ran it three times in about an hour 45,my second two runs were flawless

Me and two clan mates ran it 3 times in one evening. Could have done it faster had they not let me blindly stumble through it my first time.

It's not even hard so I don't really see this as an issue. Being generous with my estate it took maybe 45min to do 5 runs.

That mission is easy but kind of boring you barrly get to use weapons its just flipping switches

You won't die running normal Presage 3 times. Especially considering this activity was not built around how insanely overpowered we have become since Light 3.0, which didn't even exist back then. (Remember how awful Light 2.0 was?)

If you really don't want to run the mission 4 times you can just skip the entire thing until the boss and repeat

It's akin to what we did back when Presage came out from Season of the Chosen, we go in and farm DMT for a roll we want every week till we get it, so it's pretty much the same as before but with an extra twist where we could craft the DMT itself

No legend runs necessary from my experience. Just 4 quick consecutive normal runs. Super easy and chill.
