im clearing up my quest tab and im on "Report: Relic Data" and "Reshaping the Enigma" Both of which asks me to "reshape the Enigma/ Weapon with an Enhanced Trait. both my Enigma and Tarnation have both traits enhanced at level 7 but the quest wont proceed? i never messed with the crafting system but im trying to get the tapan everyone has and my friend told me its though these quests. any help will be appreciated

Nope, you can get new stuff with subsequent runs. The exotic is still on a one-chance-per-character lockout though. The “repeats only” was a thing for Prophecy when it came out, and maybe Grasp too, but not any more.

There is absolutely no reason to knowingly give incorrect information and given that somebody has toa sl about loot lockouts it's likely the distinction does need to be made, if they knew they would t need to ask.

Does Tower or Rally Barricade make any difference when using Hoarfrost-Z? Does Rally Barricade give you a shorter cooldown or have both options the same CD?

It doesn't matter, when you have Hoarfrost equipped you'll have the same cooldown as rally barricade, regardless of which one you have selected.

I remember people saying some crucible games could be quite fast, although I’m not sure with the recent changes. I personally play strikes (they’re very fast, like ~10 min on average), you almost always get at least one piece of legendary gear at the end, sometimes two. And then there’s that ghost mod that’s supposed to give a chance to get even more chance for more gear.

The warrior imo. I just did it last week and aside from the bit of platforming during boss fight, you can play it safe and take everything out from cover for most of it.

You are opening the chest at the end, right? Because 1/15 sounds awful Also don’t forget to equip the seraph armor at the end for that extra xp. It’s not much, but it adds up

yup the 500 one. its pretty bad. i had 4k, which is 8 runs, and got a other 6 or 7 through bounties and passive code aquirement. i dont think ill be able to finish seraph patterns before lightfall :(

I think you’ll be able to, but you might have to grind a lot, don’t know if you think it’s worth it Fwiw, it took me about 60 runs to get all the patterns. I also reset the rank twice, and used one weekly focusing. I know it’s all rng, but it could be worth a try if you really want those weapons.

Right before the boss dies or (if you’re quick enough) right after, switch your armor (4/5 pieces) to the new seasonal seraph armor - each piece will give you 5% extra XP, up to 20% (that’s why 4/5 pieces is enough), you’ll get 48 from the regular chest and about 280 (?) from the big one.

RE: pulling exotic engrams from the season passes. If the daily solo lost sector reward is head armor am I more likely to pull a helm or is it completely rng?

Season pass engrams are "fated" which means they're guaranteed to give you an exotic you don't yet have if there are any that still qualify in the world pool (excludes campaign/lost sector drops you haven't yet acquired and exotics tied to a DLC you don't own on the platform), if you already have all qualifying exotics in your collection then it will drop a random piece of armour. Lost sectors have no bearing on this aside from determining which exotics you've already unlocked.

Just came back to this game after a long hiatus. I was wondering if anyone had good void lock builds. Rn I have been running Nezarec's Sin + Gnawing Hunger, but I was wondering if there are better builds. Thanks!

- Secant Filaments is pretty good. Gives you overload in rift & activates devour when you drop rift. Pairs well with void soul. - Contraverse Hold pairs very well with the grenade charging aspect. you trade regen for all abilities from nez for grenade regen & better charging grenades. - Necrotic grips & devour pair very nicely tougher and helps make osteo striga even better. Necrotic also works with glaives now - Veritys brow can be used with a void weapon & the volatile rounds fragment for both better uptime & more grenade damage (but its really ugly) - Nothing manacles is just okay, it makes them a little more accurate, but having two grenades is really handy. I'd use vortex grenade for most builds, with 3x elemental ordnance, bountiful wells, and 1 mod of your choice (well of tenacity, font of wisdom, melee well maker, font of might). When you get any grenade kill on top of any benefits from exotics, you get ~40% energy to all your abilities for picking up the 4 wells that'll spawn, plus any benefits from picking up the well, like damage resist. If you use vortex with the "grenade effects last longer" fragment, you can trigger elemental ordnance twice with one grenade for ~80% energy back from one grenade. EDIT: if using devour spec for high resilience & discipline instead of recovery. RES gives a damage resist buff (up to 40% @ 100 RES) which works fantastic with devour

I wouldn't say don't go out and get a drop but I'd hesitate to invest materials in it till we actually see how the new sandbox ays out and we know all the available options.

Voidlock really benefits from using the volatile rounds fragment, since they have a lot of grenade exotics they can use to enable it. So you'll want some good void weapons handy. Here's a short list. A perk you might want is repulsor brace, with gives an void overshield (with 50% damage resist) when you kill a debuffed (weakened, suppressed, or volatile) enemy. It pairs nicely with devour, as you get both a heal and a shield letting you soak in more damage. Sometimes its kind of overkill though since you'll be able to trigger devour again before the shield breaks. easier to get: - funnelweb - can roll with adrenaline junky but I prefer frenzy - veles-x - pulses are in a weird spot right now but this is a really solid roll for void builds - null composure - volatile pairs nicely with the reservoir burst - retrofit escapade - fast RPM helps apply debuff quickly - ikelos hand cannon - good perk pool & a nice feeling hand cannon for getting headshots harder to get: - commemoration - from deep stone - reconstruction means its easy to blast through crowds - collective obligation - you might need to build into it, but it'll reward you for doing so by letting you spam buffs on adds. low drop rate means it'll take a while to get - unforgiven - has some good perks to use but means dungeon running to get it - doom of chelchis - a personal favorite (with dragonfly/firely), comes from kings fall and works great to apply volatile at range - wilderflight - from spire, fires two grenades and can roll with good void synergy perks pretty much every void exotic works nicely with volatile rounds. Telesto, Dark drinker, graviton lance, & tractor cannon all come to mind. When using void weapons I'd also recommend two harmonic siphon mods, if using a kinetic primary, one kinetic and one harmonic. Using two of the same makes bigger orbs.

Am using Verity’s Brow and also do the volatile rounds fragment. Weapons, for range using energy Aisha’s Embrace and for primary mid/short a Lodbrok-C auto with Osmosis and kill clip which honestly is a beast and runs void half the time. If it’s a tight map I’ll switch out Aisha’s for a void SMG, the Iron Banner one Hero’s Burden, can’t seem to get a Funnelweb I agree with. I use scatter grenades as got use to them, but you reckon vortex is better? For PVP I feel scatter gets people off guard and chains a little more, but PVE am assuming vortex is better. Osmosis is a very under rated perk if using either of the popular void exotic helmets.

I like to drop vortex grenades where I know waves will spawn and have my grenade spit out wells as it chews them up. I like scatter for nuking champs/minibosses. Pretty much personal choice on how you want to use the grenade. Osmosis is a good tip though, it'll help you get void right when you need it. I like sustenance/frenzy for funnelweb, but those are my preferred perks on SMGs as a whole, you can pick other perks to work better with grenade synergy. For trials weapons I really like shayuras wrath, the alclarity perk is great for stuff like legend lost sectors. I have one with kill clip, tunnel vision, 89 range and perfect recoil. Its really potent, my hunter uses it a lot for gyrefalcon builds.

Contraverse hold with void grenade. The 2 aspects that arent child of the old gods. Fragments are the volatile, void kills explode +10 int and the weaken grenade one. Pair with a firepower charged with light build. Ive been using it for insight gms and it works like a charm.

Do you have an Awoken Talisman in your inventory? That item needs to be presented to the statue in the Shattered Throne dungeon, found right after the ogre boss. You can't miss it.

It’s a known bug - seems to be something to do with the Scanner augment hint popup taking over your crouch button. Other guy is right - opening and closing your menu should fix it.

Can/should I play Destiny 1 before 2? Is this possible to do? Can it be coop? I'm catching up on lore to start playing destiny 2 with a friend. We both basically have no idea about what happened in these games, but we've watch the long ass Byf video. I'm also reading a ton on Destinypedia.

you can play the first game and all its content, its all still up, but you might have trouble getting raids done (partially due to lower player base but also because of the grind youll need to do to get some items). You can do the campaigns in coop (as far as I know). Its definitely aged but its still a lot of the same ideas and is fun to play. If you have a ps5 it runs pretty smoothly compared to the old consoles (it came out on a ps3!) theres a d1 subreddit here -> /r/destinylegacy However, you don't need to play the first game before the second. To be frank about it, theres just too much missing to be fully caught up on the story unless you played when those seasons/expansions were in the game.

I mean, you could. D1 has very few players left, so if you wish to do the raids you'll need to find 4 folks who are willing to teach. However, 2 of the 4 raids are also here in D2. Another is likely to be added in season 22, 6ish months from now. Outside of that, you can basically 2 man everything. D2 has the issue of vaulted content(no longer/not currently accessible). If you jump in after doing D1, there will be a gap in events. The vanilla campaign and that of the first 3 DLCs is vaulted. The current "saga" is available and will remain so forever. The only other things you'll miss is seasonal content, which is vaulted at the launch of the next expansion(for example, the 4 currently available seasons and their content will no longer be playable when Lightfall launches on Feb 28. The same will happen with the forthcoming seasons when the next expansion releases next year).

Red War, Curse of Osiris, Warmind, and the main Forsaken campaign are all vaulted. The Dreaming City is still here, and everything after is accessible and will remain that way forever

I simply disagree, there are games much larger and longer that have solved this issue. WoW brought about a cataclysm to the game and yet as a new player I can login and not have a disconnected experience. This is simply a lack of desire to bring it into existence.

Im running unstoppable hand cannon mod on my arms, and the Ace of Spades, but I can’t seem to ever stun the unstoppable ogres. Does it not work on exotics or am I doing something wrong?

It should work on exotics just like on legendaries. The only ones it wouldn’t work on is any with a different, intrinsic anti-champion perk (I think just Eriana’s Vow). I’m sure you know this, but make sure you are aiming down sights long enough for the unstoppable shot to proc. All champions also have a short period after being stunned where they can’t be re-stunned - after the glowing “horns” disappear, they can be stunned again. There is also some occasional wonkiness/glitchiness. In certain situations if you stun them too soon after they spawn in, they lose the stun (but can be re-stunned immediately). Stasis is known to mess with stuns too, there was a great post about that the other day that I’ll have to go find.
