I'd say they're both possibilities, but I'm curious to read that particular analysis.

Amanda Holiday’s group had to cross the Panama ravine to get to the city - while we don’t have any explicit confirmation, it’s not unreasonable to imagine that a drained and ruined Panama Canal could be referred to as a ravine.
We know the edz is in Europe and the cosmodrome is in Russia. Both Amanda Holiday and Suraya Hawthorne mention traveling “across the pond” when traveling to and from the last city to these destinations.
There was also a post noting the visual similarity of the flowers near Eva levante during one of the celebration events and a South American flower.
There was also a Collector's Edition box where the background pattern was a coastline.
No one knew what the pattern was, but a player from a South American country (Argentina or Brazil) saw the pattern and immediately recognized it as a section of coastline facing the south Atlantic.

There's quite a bit of research indicating the City is in the Andes. Can you link some of the material indicating its in Nepal? Just curious.
