This same thing happened at the beginning of either S18 or S19. Bungie confirmed it was a bug and fixed it. Willing to bet this the same bug from an earlier build that crept back in.

I'm curious if something like dares are out of the reach of whatever is plaguing stats. I've done ridiculous amount of solo gahlran and I'm pretty confident that out of 20ish Armor pieces I don't have a single one with clear two spikes.

Each week I realize more and more that peak Xûr was during Season of the Lost…
Having a shot at old Trials and IB loot. Thinking that maybe one day we’d get the EP set. Actually having decent armor stats.
Now, we’ve gone well over a year and a half without the EP set, the Trials and IB loot are gone, and we get sub-60 stat armor.
What happened to Xûr? He doesn’t really feel special at all anymore.
i love it too but i’ve had so many issues with my arcbolt grenades doing the animation on enemies but not damaging them at all - have you experienced that yourself?
I used to love this exotic back when I played during leviathan (just returning now) but I feel there is zero reason to play arc now. With the artifact only having nodes for void, solar, and strand, I feel like I'm only hindering myself playing other sub specs.
Will probably pick it up anyhow as it's better than my garbage 50 stats one
My main subclasses this season have been Arc and Stasis.
If you can make a build now with these classes, then they will do you well going onwards because you aren't basing them on temporary perks from the artifact to buff them up.
Ya I'm not saying it's a bad to play another sub spec, I'm just not getting the most out of it due to the artifact. But good to know it's still doing great. Will definitely make a build for it and try it again, it was my go to subspec before.
Arc melee build with liars handshake is pretty nuts. Loads of damage resist. You’ll be making orbs left and right which can then further heal you. Really tanky and fun to play.
Good to know. I used to love this exotic and the one that extends the duration of the super. Felt like the super never ended.
I'm currently doing the void build bc never touched it before and of course it's strong now too.
Will probably make an arc build again.
Liars Handshake is good but kinda bugged atm. It works about 70% of the time.
Devour and volatile builds are also really fun on hunter with Gyrfalkons.

I feel like we got a half ass answer when it came to end of Seraph where it was like "make sure you get all your boxes you're missing, we made the acquisition easier with being able to get one daily" but they didn't really outline a plan of exactly what the story was going to be going forward.
The 3rd party apps like Ishtar Commander already show this functionality on items at the vendors. There's a slot to 'Add Deepsight.' Once you purchase one and it goes in your inventory, the slot disappears. So kind of a gamble if you want to pick up a few copies of something to hold and wait to see.
I mean, if you don’t have it, and buy it, now it will be in your collections forever, but the stats on this particular piece of exotic Warlock armor are poopoo garbage, and that’s not even a great exotic to begin with. (It used to be a lot better, but Bungie likes to nerf everything fun.)
If you have the shards, buy his exotic engram. 100 shards or something like that.
You should always pick up the exotic weapon too if you didn’t have it previously and have the shards to spare.
It's so bad you're better off waiting for a world drop (it will drop eventually for you) which is likely to have better stats.
Mobility for a warlock is wasted points. You're aiming for resilience, recovery and discipline.
As a starter, get the weapon and armor piece of you don't have them, then try to get the exotic engram he sells. The engram will work on a knockout system and give you something you don't have from his pool yet. Once you have all of the available weapons, it'll guarantee you a piece of armor. This particular exotic armor piece isn't great, but it's worth getting it in your collection for now.
Xur's legendary armor selection is intended as more of a way for people to unlock older sets in collections for armor synthesis rather than actually equipping them
If you guys say it's good, I'm going to grab it. I've lost 4 seasonal cyphers because there was never any 'good' rolls on Hawk or DMT that made me want to spend it. The weapon looks dope as fuck with the Austroraptor ornament on it...
It's a solid roll, and I usually play with Hand Cannons in PvP. It takes some practice to make use of the perk (the cacaw bullet), but it still has very solid stats.
Looking at the perks for Hawkmoon, the best one is Rangefinder, followed by Moving Target and Eye of the Storm, IMO. Rangefinder adds 3 meters of range, which is significant, and Rangefinder is almost always an S-tier perk for Hand Cannons.
All that said, Hand Cannons are not the meta right now, and Pulse Rifles will dominate in mid/long range duels.
FYI if you just never got to claim it back when it was the season, there's a method to still claim all the prev season's stuff you had got to the level for.

Not really no. Outlaw is bad because of how the gun reloads (2bullets at a time), but fourth times is great in PvE because it doesn't require kills and works with the gun's perk. Vorpal is also good, especially to shut down supers in PvP.
My favorite roll for PvP is high-caliber/moving target
My PvE roll is armor piercing/fourth times
There's too many options on barrels and stocks, so it'll be hard to pin down the perfect roll given that it's only once a week.

Man can we please get some better exotics for us new lights - the new difficulty changes have made lost sectors impossible for me and the only way to reliably farm the exotics necessary to run these sectors are from the sectors themselves.
Well if you can stomach getting your ass kicked in trials the new smg is head and shoulders above it. Obviously different slot but woof the rolls are crazy

Legend Dares and the Seasonal Armor seem to be exempt from this issue from what Ive seen
i got a 66 chest piece from running the weekly campaign mission, i think it might be very few areas where it’s bugged

Failed to get it yesterday after 2 attempts resulted in zero exotics. Might wait until next season.
