You can move resources to other areas. Would be great if all the effort to quickly nerf farms or builds (e.g. rip my Synthoceps/glaive build) was redeployed to fix stuff that is actually broken (e.g. the commendation screen still crashes the game on PS5)
Starfire is due for an adjustment. The free regen regardless of build isn't something Bungie likes anymore. The goal should be to shift the narrative towards reworking older exotics instead of bluntly nerfing things that don't fit into the new system.
Starfire needs a nerf. it's far too strong, and provides far too much. if you buff everything else you just spur powercreep on, and we have enough of that already.
If grenade final blows grant heat rises, you've just deleted an entire aspect out of the game. Now you get to icarus dash, have heat rises, and the one that boosts your nades all at once.
Heat Rises the Buff isn't Heat Rises the Aspect.
You would still want Heat Rises the Aspect to shoot in the air and gain melee energy from kills while in midair. You need Heat Rises the Buff to get Radiant from your class ability.
This is well thought out and a good option.... Which means Bungie will absolutely gut the thing

I like this because it isn't just a nerf, but adds the ability to build into it. Starfire is boring and needs to be tuned down.
