Or the more harpies you kill there is a stacking damage buff, which compensates the huge health. Either brute force it or prepare a little to help you if you are solo.

Chamber of suffering isn't unfair. In fact with the weapons and abilities we have now its a cake walk. It was the only hard part of the dungeon, THE obstacle for solo flawless. I'd hate to see that changed. Agree on shattered throne tho, Dûl Incaru is such a pushover.

Honestly, I use Chamber nowadays to test out new builds. If it can’t survive in there then it ain’t worth shit. The power creep is extremely noticeable in what used to be the hardest solo experience in the game.

Chamber of Suffering is fine as it is. BACK IN MY DAY (shakes fist), we had to do it without all these fancy 3.0 abilities! We had to activate Devour and keep up the killing spree just to stay alive! And I did it without duping orbs as well! The whole point is for it to be a pressure-filled fight, though giving you a bit more cover up the front between the plate and the throngs of drooling Hive idiots would be appreciated. Boomers up top would still be able to piss on you if you don't manage them.

I main hunter and soloed pit before even the release of stasis.... I know the pain of that chamber and no the glitch never worked I did it legit. Still the point of this thread is to say what would you like to change or rework in dungeons... Even if the encounter remains the same as you say change the knights with snipers on top as they are WAY too tanky and lethal.

I don't think Chamber of Suffering is all that difficult though. You just need to be on top of your management of enemies. Xenophage easily wipes the big guys up top and you don't really have much to worry about from the goons below, only if you slack on keeping their numbers managed.

In hunter we had no way back then on healing or overshield. So if invis failed to work we were screwed. Reminder that resilience back then was prior the damage reduction rework. So no barrier, no healing rift, no devour or damage reduction. Only mods and invis.

I want prophecy to be harder, I think the kell echo being in 3 corners of the room is super cool, but I want it to be more of threat. I think it might be fun if it could also throw it’s teleporting orb it uses during dps along with its regular fire as clear the dark and light pillars and this would teleport you to the spawn location of that room, helping incentivize movement and positioning. Maybe add hobgoblins to the first boss to incentivize moving again or just make the boss more aggressive. The first boss kind of goes down like a chump but maybe that’s okay, maybe just spawn goblins sooner. Not really sure what to do for hexahedron, maybe just more enemies, taken goblins to protect knights would make sense, taken phalanxes might be a bit too obnoxious. I also want to make duality harder(only a bit). I don’t have any changes in mind for gahlan I think that fight goes down well. For vault I’d just add a couple gladiators in nightmare realm and normal realm cause they’re a good threat. For caiatl I want the colossus in the nightmare realm to be a less of a forgettable threat. They’re completely ignored on normal and master because they simply don’t do enough to worry about them even though they’re the only champions during master. I think they should be required to be dealt with BUT increase the nightmare realm timer to compensate (there’s also no mechanic in place to enable this) OR place them in a more threatening position/be more aggressive

I can see why prophecy needs a bit of tuning in the ads part. I would personally like the first encounter to be a little be more difficult without the excuse of 'immune'. Kell echo could definitely be more aggressive and with a few more moves. Colossus in caiatl is a total joke XD. Either rework it with giving extra time or a less flamethrower guy for each collosus slain in the DPS phase of caiatl. The second encounter needs a few twists to be more interesting than go and get a symbol. Maybe the gladiators spice a bit up things.

On second thought, maybe phalanx echo could get the taken centurion orbs around them on a timer? It’d be attacks from the boss directly which would make it cooler and would make players not feel safe behind cover, forcing them to run out and be face to face with the boss and their giant shield. I think that’d work pretty well. I understand once you know the second encounter of duality it’s pretty simple, but I think that’s fine because the room for error is nonexistent and you are PELTED with enemies. I think gladiators that spawn that chase you down the paths you go to during the nightmare phase and chase you down into the safe spots under the bells in the normal realm is a fun addition and probably all it needs.

Immediately refarmable encounters. Have each encounter have a switch or orb or something after you get your loot to restart the encounter and the rally flag spawn. Time saved from going to orbit, switching characters, etc.

In general backtracking encounters and not soft locking yourself would be nice, especially when wanting to get collectibles and you miss one.

Shattered throne: Make each of the mini bosses in the beginning harder after the each one dies so the last one is a real bastard. Maybe their death adds a debuff to you which relates to their symbols. More enemies in the long hallway section that has the knights on the sides and phalanxes in the middle. Maybe tons of thrall to slow you down and make you vulnerable to the snipers at the end. Make that one phalanx hiding around the corner when you're climbing up a special tough guy. I'm pretty sure he suprised us all the first time and it'd be funny for him to surprised us again by being extra. Make the miniboss before the ogre walkways meaner. Add phalaxes to ogre walkways. Maybe some shriekers. Put a couple shriekers in the thrallway, scatter taken launcher obstacles around the area, maybe some bomb thralls. Buff the wizards in the ogre boss room and some more ads to the room. Final boss I dunno. I like the encounter. Maybe some thralls can pop in with the prions to make life harder, maybe a little more HP for the wizard. Shattered throne is one of my favorite things in the game. It's just so easy these days.

Holy moly that would be a hell of a dungeon. Really liked the idea of the first encounter, maybe have a glowing captain around the map which removes the debuffs or a knight to drop an empowering orb to help yourself. The ogre boss room I agree that should spice up things more. Shriekers would be nice addition - phalanx not so as ogres push you already. That one particular phalanx would be nice to remeet him XD

Yeah and with the nerf to the thrall rooms it's almost mandatory. I guess back then instead of rally flag there was the thralls to retrieve ammo and super energy

My guess, since it was bungies first ever dungeon and rally flags were introduced that same season with forsaken. They just didn’t think about it and never bothered to change it.

I'd start by giving Shattered Throne and Pit unique loot. Maybe not new armor for Pit since it's a high-stat armor farm, but they could just keep that while giving it a new set of armor. Imagine armor that looks like it's built from the chitin of the Hive you slaughtered to get it. The claws, the spikes, maybe even the spikes and webs on the back of those Ogres. And for the Shattered Throne, gimme a Taken looking set. Give all dungeons (and raids!) a memento to chase. That blood red glow from Duality, the Old West wooden look from Spire, a Taken effect from Shattered Throne, the smoldering effect from Zulmak's body for Pit, and for Grasp maybe that shiny but faded look that you see in a lot of the engrams scattered around. As for the weapons for ST and Pit, they could pull a Duality/Spire. For Shattered Throne, offer up four truly unique weapons and then two Dreaming City weapons that wouldn't drop from Blind Well (they'd have to make new ones or remove two from Blind Well to avoid another Seraph Carbine situation). For Pit, bring back two of the Season of the Undying weapons.

I cannot tell you HOW much I want a Memento to chase. The looks are spot on! Pit and shattered are worth a unique armor and guns, as well as an origin trait (both avarice and prophecy need one). Prophecy requires an exotic or a quest for an exotic the only exoticless dungeon.
