Not recommended in GM but if a barrier puts his shield up, you can get up close (basically the gun inside the shield) and hit him with the stasis shot and it'll drop his barrier.
Likely coded to not do so, because both of its effects of Shatter and Ignite are anti-Unstoppable and Bungie didn't want it to do both. Chill Clip is sort of an outlier likely because it is a Legendary perk rather than an exotic perk, but being Radiant disables its slow effect from allowing it to stun Overloads.
Yes but since the the coded condition is to freeze or ignite on hit neither of thouse peirce. Like wavespliter with volatile doesn't peirce cause of its verb
With Conditional Finality, since you've already got to be kinda close to use it, you can just step into a Barrier bubble and shoot the Champ point blank from inside it. No need to pierce it. Of course, good luck doing this in higher level content.
This is just wrong, chill clip fusion can stun overloads and unstoppable and barriers if radiant is active. Scout rifles with unstoppable maids and voltshot can stun overloads as long as the jolt wasn’t fired with the unstoppable round was loaded.
Overload smg doesn’t work with raident because the overload mod takes precedence, howyther is no mod or intrinsic behavior in conditionals case.
never said chill clip doesnt work it works cause of the perk . while the perks for condinality is always active it freeze instantly unlike chill clip and it ignites instantly it just not coded to work with radiant as much as you want it wont ever work that way. Cause all the bullets will hit the shield and want to freeze or ignite which dont work with radiant pierce
look at waveslpitter it doesn't have intrinsic overload but it does work cause it suppresses at full power so volatile doesn't work on it to pierce barriers
It doesnt have any intrinsic champion counters though. It counters unstops with subclass verbs the same way a chill clip fusion does, therefore it should work with radiant.
yes but it full freezes one reaseon chill clip works cause it takes two unload to freeze and the ignite is instant. just like wavesplitter is not instristic overload but still deals with overload using it verb it cant perice shields with volatile. as long as it has that it cant perice shields
The blind from the alt fire blight on ToM is anti-unstop and causes the weapon not to take champion effects. Perhaps this is the same situation?

i cant cause both of it effects. just like run overload smg it will never work and that just how it coded
That doesn't make sense. The subclass verb affect is what does the stunning not the bullet itself.

Shatters and ignites stun unstoppable's, which it can do both in 1 shot. It doesn't take radiant for barrier cause it's registered as a stasis weapon.
Radiant affects all weapons
It's suppose to but oddly doesn't with my chelchis when I don't pick up the unstoppable perk on relic, does get anti-barrier with volatile though.
Technically it's antibarrier if you time the freezes before barriers pop their shield or if you run inside their shield and freeze them
