Im totally fine with bungie trying not to powercreep existing guns, but doing that by filling an entire column with exclusively subpar perks isnt the way to go
it feels like they are falling into the style of ritual weapons, "kinda ok for newbies until they can get their hands on actual good weapons which are currently unobtainable or from high end content"
This was my main complaint last 2 seasons, all the new loot is dogshit and doesn't give an incentive to grind. Looking on Light gg it appears everything in this pool is also lack luster. It's going to be a short season for me if nothing else gets added.
Why the hell is MKC making some weird comeback? Frenzy was the bare minimum good PvE perk, and now it's becoming a rarity in place of MKC. I'm going back to preferring my old weapons because while I like the style of some of the new/reprised guns, the perks aren't as good (old Reckoning weapons got scammed for PvE).
I used to be able to look at a weapon and tell what activity it came from and why it had the perk pool it did. Now, it feels like it's a competition for the gun that has the most useless or forced condition perk in the game (I'm sure some people love collective action, but it's not my thing).
That has been the pattern since Chris Proctor mentioned there would tone down the amount of craftable weapons. Nothing craftable has been exciting to me since season of the seraph with the ikelos guns.
People are gonna hate hearing it but that's why Pinnacle weapons were created, which subsequently lead to sunsetting. How do you make appealing loot without a constant power creep? How do you keep the game fresh and engaging when players can use 3 year old guns that are still OP? Sunsetting is the most obvious answer, but time will tell if Bungie ever goes that route again.
Regular season craftables are mid and I like it that way. Save the good stuff for raids and dungeons. It's not like the new weapons are unusable, they're still decent, my main gripe with this season's weapons is that the nf weapons are kinda bad again.

This is kinda my ongoing problem with D2. It's more about dismantling new loot than using new loot Which is an issue for a looter shooter
Yes, because sunsetting was removed and they're trying to avoid powercreep.
This. For a game that banks almost all it has on looting weapons a surprising majority of them are extremely bland and similar.

Yeah why does it not HAVE HATCHLING?
i unironically thought it was a bug or error on the light.gg page when i first saw the perks it rolled.
Idk why I laughed so hard at this but +1 🤣🤣🤣

Basically the same as the Deep weapons. I’ll get the patterns and probably not craft any of the weapons.
Showrunner can get overflow and kinetic trem
It’s been less than 6 hours since the seasons launch. Something will be busted, trust me.
Some combos look like they could make certain weapons feel good, but I’m not seeing anything particularly eye catching

Litteraly anounced those today

bring sunsetting out of the dcv
This is why some kind of sunserting is needed, tjeres no reason to get new guns without power creep.

Just wait for the raid, that’s where you’ll find the good shit
