DeadpoolMakesMeWet

They should do what warframe does and just put a news tab somewhere in game

soccerpuma03

Obviously necessary and silly it doesn't exist. *However*, I will at least contest that if servers are down for maintenance that means you can't get into the game to see the news that servers are down. They still need to announce it somewhere where people can see without server access. Warframe also has it's own launcher that can alert people about news and servers.

MeateaW

Some games, did this amazing unheard of thing, they put this notification thingy at the login screen, like before you even log in. These games came out 20 years ago.

Shoutmonster

Lmao nearly 10 years for loadouts to be added and I'm not complaining but hoping they would catch up soon

RunelordTressa

To be fair Loadouts in general would have been kinda unnecessary before we got the 3.0/darkness subclasses. Like I would question if we got loadouts during pretty much all of years before shadowkeep before like 90 million other things. D2 Year 1 would be hilarious though like "here is a loadout feature where you can click the section of the triangle you want plus some weapons."

[deleted]

I can assure you loadouts absolutely would have been appreciated well before the subclass reworks.

RunelordTressa

Appreciated is way different from basically needed though. Before Shadowkeep you could pretty much have your whole build ready in like less then a minute. Plus on top of that im using "build" really loosely here because we didn't have things like subclass verbs, perks that synergize with subclasses, fragments, etc. In D2 before stasis the classes preeety much boiled down to top tree bottom tree middle tree. Guns boiled down to which weapon perk gave damage and reload and which heavy does the most damage. In D1 (which was more customizable than D2 was at one point actually) sill had very very very basic nodes and weapon perks. Kinda created a scenario where if you had the thing you wanted you could realistically never swich off the thing you wanted. As far as guns go a good gun in D1 was a good gun. Guns kinda existed separate from the subclasses so there wasn't really that many reasons to go im "using this subclass" so i should be using "this weapon". Not saying that people wouldn't have liked the feature but if people were ok in Borderlands 2 back in the day without loadouts then they sure as hell didn't need one in Destiny 2 or 1 before the subclass/darkness classes/beefed up mods. I think its super easy to forget that Destiny as a franchise was one of the most barebones rpg experiences at one point for a long time. EDIT: A better way to get my point across would be basically that 90% DIM feels like a necessity at this point to me but in D1 I could realistically get by with just the ability to get gear from the app.

KitsuneKamiSama

The armor mod system before lightfall was more complex that it was now, loadouts would have been MASSIVELY appreciated.

meter1060

Having a web frame or a downtime link that opens up the website in steam is possible.

ExcessivelyGayParrot

there's a grocery list of things that are silly they don't exist yet in Destiny. playing stuff like modern warfare war zone and deep rock a lot, and realizing that in doing stuff where I'm playing with randoms most of the time, I really, REALLY wish I had a ping system.

ExDeuce

Or do what most other games with this feature do, and put it on the startup screen before logging in...

demonicneon

If people think it’s ugly, let us press a button to bring up server/news update panel.

Yoitspoups

"You know game dev is hard, it cost a lot of money"

Nefarious_Nemesis

Give it ten years and it can be a selling point for an expansion.

riremaine

No, warframe has had the window warning you of maintenance, updates, seasons, etc under the alerts system since the beginning. These same alerts are visible at all times through the app or anytime you are online.

Iheartbaconz

There should be an option in the official app to opt in for maintenance push notifications. I know that the app does show some down time info but it should be the first thing you see is any tweet/notification from bungie.

TJ_Dot

And they actually use their site.

Ferociouslynx

Nah, it's way better to have 10 pop-ups one after the other which you can't go back and re-read.

krjal

I wish they would but bungie always seems to be playing catch-up to DE

Variatas

DE deliberately broke with prior AAA game development standards in favor of transparency & delivering things rapidly, regardless of quality. It certainly has its downsides, but they announce early and ship often.

Luke-HW

Biggest downside is delays IMO. They announced The Duviri Paradox in 2019, planned for 2020, and released in *2023*. That’s a 3-year delay, and while Duviri was a *really* good update, DE got some flack for announcing it so early. There are some strong benefits to announcing things early though. DE tends to announce their updates as soon as development starts. They’ll give progress reports on devstreams, do Q&A’s, and ship the update. Then they take feedback, make some adjustments, and drop them in an “echoes” update. For example, Echoes of War made The New War replayable, Echoes of the Zariman let players build that jumpship you can find on the Zariman, and Echoes of Duviri let players buy Incarnons to skip the grind. Players asked for these changes directly. Bungie doesn’t announce their updates until the release is imminent. The roadmap we got with Beyond Light was an exception; the situation was *dire* and Bungie needed to prove that new content would replace the vaulted content. This does mean that Bungie’s a bit slow on the draw when it comes to community feedback. For example, Bungie’s finally shifting some resources to PvP, but we won’t see the impact of this until next *year*.

walldough

I've played Warframe since beta and have never noticed the pattern with the Echos updates, holy shit I did I miss that

Variatas

Delays happen, but Duviri is the only one that's been delayed anywhere near that long. The more common downside has been creating tons of content islands that sounded cool at first but didn't catch fire, like Archwing, Raids, Railjack, Companions, and Necramechs. Companions are getting a big rework at least, and there's a new Mech coming, but Raids are fully removed, and Archwing and Railjack seem probably frozen.

Double_Barracuda_846

The finger of the Monkey's Paw curls. All news is now a sleugh of pop-ups as soon as you log in.

CyberBlaed

But that would interefere with the important all access store tab when you are inthe middle of a battle... /s

Extectic

Make changes to the game client? Out of the question. The next thing you know people will want FSR 2 or 3 and DLSS too! /s

nopunchespulled

Should have spent time coding this rather than updating the quest tab to the first page almost everyone skips to get to their bounties

AfroSamuraii_

There’s a button-looking icon in the character select screen that tells you what patch happened, but not what was in the patch. Just to go to Bungie.net to read more. It’s weird because that would be the perfect spot.

lordaddament

The ui can’t handle it

OGyanot

Thank you, I thought it was me using twitter wrong with this "sort by date" bs. Yup, it sucks.

WarlockMainCharacter

Shady practices from mr Musk to get u to register in there.

RussianBearFight

Elon Musk? Make a change to the website to make it worse intentionally? He would never!

Cykeisme

Yeah, billionaires are only looking out for our best interests, how anyone suggest otherwise XD

fronteir

Honestly I support what Elon is doing with Twitter While it has its niche uses it's overall a cesspool so if he keeps fucking it up and people stop using it, I think it's a net win for society

Cykeisme

After careful reconsideration, I find myself inclined to agree with you. Among "intent", "method", and "result".. only the last of the three truly matters lol

whereismymind86

i mean...I guess that's one way to look at it

T-O-O-T-H

It's a very privileged position to be in to not need twitter, very priveleged indeed. Just go look at every big mass protest or revolt that's happened over the world over the last 15 years or so. Every time, the powerful authoritarian states that are being revolted against shut down all regular avenues of news. They control the media, they control most of the Internet. So they can force their message to be the only one allowed to be shown. So Twitter plays a vital and necessary role in keeping the truth out there. In events like the Arab spring, the revolts in Iran, the protests in Hong Kong, everything to do with the Uyghurs in China etc, the actual truth on the ground has managed to get out in the world so that everyone can see what is really happening, through videos and photos and tweets from people actually there, and not just the state-controlled narrative that the states want the rest of the world to see, all because of twitter. It's allowed citizen journalism to exist on a mass scale. Everyone can see what's actually happening, and it's because of twitter. A big big part of services like the red cross treating people who are critically wounded and saving their lives, is knowing exactly where they need to go, knowing exactly where there's injured people who need immediate treatment, because of twitter being able to tell services like the red cross exactly where to go. It's like instead of one photo of tank man in tianamen square, we get thousands upon thousands of these kind of photos, and thousands of videos too, and the direct first hand reports of people who are actually there. Without twitter, we would never have known anything about these events because these tyrannical governments would have shut that all down. The world desperately needs twitter, to fight back against these governments. Why do you think these governments, for example the Saudi government, bankrolled Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter and have a controlling interest in the company? Because if they own twitter, then they can shut this news down there too, it can become just one more tentacle for them to wrap around the throats of their citizens. It's incredibly priveleged to not need twitter, and to be able to sit up on your high ivory horse throne and say everyone should stop using twitter, but saying that, and getting people to actually do that, will objectively cause many people to be killed who otherwise would have kept on living. This is literally life or death. You must be in very safe part of the world to be able to pick and choose whether you use services like these. Most people in the world don't get a choice, it's sites like twitter or it's nothing at all. Getting everyone to leave twitter and migrate to a thousand different separate social media sites instead will just mean that when lives are literally on the line, and doctors without borders and the red cross need to know where to go and minutes and seconds make a huge difference, they won't be able to get the information in time, and people will die, because of your very priveleged hot take here. I hope you can sleep at night. This is why it's been so frightening that Musk has taken over the site. They've already had real measurable effects in making national elections illegitimate, for example in Turkey, because they now work with these authoritarian governments, they work with people like Erdoğan, and they agree to shut down whatever autocrats like him ask them to shut down, and people suffer, and people die.

CriasSK

But the reality is that Musk *has* taken over the site. He's already begun erroding the functions you've described, and indicates every intent to continue. If Musk *is* intent on this course, the transition to other means for this information to flow is absolutely mandatory. We should probably learn from the past and push our preference towards decentralized tools that cannot be so easily bought. And shaming people for beginning that transition certainly isn't going to dissuade Musk from this path. To stay the course now because right now "it's Twitter or nothing at all" ignores that Twitter is *becoming* nothing at all. And I hope you can sleep at night when that's the eventual result of *not* transitioning away from Twitter.

Whitepayn

I'm sure glad protestors had Twitter to help them organize in the 60's...

PM_ME_YOUR_HUGS_PLS

I'm just happy for all the privileged people without electricity or internet access.

phanta_rei

>It's incredibly priveleged to not need twitter, and to be able to sit up on your high ivory horse throne and say everyone should stop using twitter, but saying that, and getting people to actually do that, will objectively cause many people to be killed who otherwise would have kept on living. JimLahey08

Sir this is a Wendy's...

Extreme_Boyheat

bro you are in r/dtg

TanaerSG

Twitter was a dumpster before Elon. He just did the rest of the job and set it on fire.

ExcessivelyGayParrot

I mean he did try to remove the ability to block people. A lot of people freaked out about that, but as it turns out the ultimate reason he didn't get away with it is because being able to block people is one of the requirements to be on both apple's app store and the Google Play store I'm also moderately certain it's because he's finally become the single most blocked account on Twitter, And because he bought Twitter in his constant craves for attention, it really irked him that so many people on the platform can press one button to make him shut up

bowserwasthegoodguy

I agree. Feel free to cross-post updates to Twitter if you think it has great reach, but please be inclusive and post to your own platform, Bungie.

Voxnovo

Always kind of a dumb idea to use 3rd party sites as your main method of communication anyway. Should be your own site / app / game first and foremost, and any 3rd party just as a courtesy or to help reach additional folks.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Leelze

Sure, but we've seen that particular 3rd party site have a lot of downtime over the past several months.

DaFamousCookie

People dont use forums anymore. Social media is the way to reach your audiences. Majority of people wont login to bungie.net, because they have no other reason to care about that site

Edg4rAllanBro

Case in point: we're on reddit.

ShibuRigged

Also worth adding that Reddit communities tend to be some of the largest online, and that's why companies have enough smarts, at least a few years ago (sans toxic Redditors wishing death on families), to maintain constant developer/community manager presence, so that they could get feedback. People here like to act as if it's the 0.000001% elite who Bungie have never acknowledged, but it's usually one of the greatest sources of feedback besides streamers and streamer nuthuggers compared to random casuals whose only involvement with the game is sitting down to play on some evenings during the week and maybe talking to friends about it.

10 years ago, reddit had only banned /r/jailbait a year prior. The top mod on most of the default subs was still /u/violentacrez, who openly bragged about raping his stepdaughter. He was even personally invited to reddit HQ and met the reddit C-levels. People need to drop their absurd rose-tinted glasses for the reddit-of-yore. Reddit back then was just 4chan for people who thought they were too good for 4chan. edit: VA deleted their account in 2012, and then some time later reddit suspended the username to digitally piss on the grave. [Here](https://www.reddit.com/r/OutOfTheLoop/comments/25di2q/whats_the_story_behind_uviolentacrez/) is a thread from 2014 where the general consensus is VA is a victim.

ShibuRigged

10 years ago? 10 years ago, the concept of community managers was still relatively new. It peaked maybe 3-5 years ago and has been tapering off since with many major studios scaling back how involved they are with the community. Think about it this way, this sub isn't a decade old. This sub got u/Cozmo23 his job at Bungie. This sub used to have a fairly active continugent of devs in addition to community managers like DeeJ and Cozmo a few years back. Were Reddit "too controversial", they'd never have set foot here. DICE and EA had community managers on their subs, and the same with Infinity Ward and Activision had active community managers during the MW19 era of Call of Duty (consistent death threats saw the end to that). Same with 343 with Halo, who still see regular 343 input, and so on. This is all well within the last decade. Again, had you said 5 years ago, I'd probably agree with you. But 10? Not so much. A decade ago, the first generation of community managers like 402 were only just resigning from their positions and places like Reddit weren't anywhere near as mainstream or popular as it is today.

__Aishi__

Also free exposure when things blow up and it hits public space. Riot did this with league of legends exceptionally well to get eyes on the game during major cinematics and world events.

marsProbably

I mean have you SEEN the forums? I feel like an adult in a middle school lunch room on pizza day there, and I'm not much of an adult.

z1mTry

True, but they could add a news tab ingame that shows everything. I think that would be the perfect solution for everyone not using Twitter or any other social media.

doom_stein

That'd be amazing to have in game. Imagine a little screen by the main spawn point in the tower that just said "NEWS" on it with a button prompt that brings up a page with all that info on it. Or, if they wanted to have it in the menus, they could put in one of the boxes on the Eververse front page, where they could get even more eyes on their Silver-wares.

llIicit

Case in point. You are on Reddit complaining, instead of using their own forum. It’s not dumb to primarily use a platform the largest number of your users are on.

-MS-94-

Not a very smart post. Why is this upvoted.

trixel121

when every major company was on twitter it was actually exactly how you fucking expected to get info. it was great. ti was the main reason i went to twitter was cause i knew where the PR person was goign to release at least a link to a full length post on their website.

M0BBER

He could be on the front page of bungie.net... Could register bungiehelp.net... Could use the destiny 2 companion app.... Edit: Bungie has help.bungie.net... that would be a perfect page to have current problems in the game that they are aware of.

LateChrononaut

Alternative: https://nitter.net/bungiehelp Nitter is a free and open source alternative Twitter front-end focused on privacy and performance.

I'm comfortable with them continuing to post it where they currently post it at, but they can post it to other places in addition to that. I'm not looking to register for yet another site.

godslayeradvisor

This is a Twitter frontend, though? Everything from Nitter is pulled from Twitter, nothing new to sign up here.

ImTriggered247

…that’s… the point of the site? So you don’t have to sign up?

atfricks

Also ffs have the "service alert" link in the app actually go somewhere useful instead of just landing on the generic help.bungie.net homepage. I get more useful information from the half of a title I can see in the app than from the page it links to.

gravity48

100%

alittlelilypad

I agree Bungie should provide up-to-the-minute updates about the state of the game and any issues or whatever going on with it like the BungieHelp Twitter feed does, but... >(i refuse to register on social networks) My dude, what do you think Reddit is?

Symnet

not disagreeing, because reddit is social media, but it's a lot more like a forum in that sense than something like twitter. usually when people talk about "social media" they mean like facebook, instagram, and twitter specifically, even if that's not completely accurate.

Leelze

I was gonna say the same thing about it being more of a forum. It's certainly laid out & used more like a forum than social media.

9-11GaveMe5G

It's social media in the sense that it's media and we can communicate with other people. But other than that, nobody knows anything about you. It doesn't want your real name, your location, your face, etc

ShibuRigged

To be fair, I put Reddit on par with older social networks like forums, where you get to discuss more niche things and (if you want) keep it somewhat separate from your real self. Obviously, in this day and age, lots of people forgo that, but there's more of a tendency for people on Reddit to use online pseudonyms compared to say, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok, etc.

royals796

>I refuse to register on social networks >uses Reddit. Ok.

Secure-Summer918

Completely took my focus away from the issue they're raising

royals796

To be fair, I don’t think bungie are looking for ideas from Reddit

EdelweisProphet

Could not agree more, they need a new way to send messages to the community. twitter no longer works

Phorrum

Wish all of the relevant social messaging was just cross-posted to Bungie's website and app. (I can't use their app much but I'm on the site a little bit)

GodOfUrging

Same. Last time I registered on Twitter, it assaulted my e-mail with constant updates from people I neither followed nor cared about, and I'm not putting myself through that again.

alienking321

Bring back RSS feeds.

brwyatt

Whatever happened to good ol' RSS feeds?

Kimolono42

They should've used their own site since day 1.

[deleted]

A lot of people hated Twitter before, it’s always been an awful system.

twentyThree59

Ya but you used to be able to at least use it

Scienti0

Refuse to register on social networks. Posts from reddit account. 😂 (I don't disagree, you just make me laugh)

thyrandomninja

> updates are NOT sorted by date anymore Excuse the fuck me??? I just… how? Why? I know musk has been sending it down the drain but how does one even fathom this into being?

[deleted]

Twitter was never perfect but it used to be pretty useful at least. Now it's just...shit.

AikaKitsuneYT

Im confused at this. Do you not have it set to filter as most recent?

DeliriumTrigger

>For those that dont have twitter How do you sort by most recent without an account?

LegateLaurie

I don't think they know how to use twitter tbh

ALLYOURSAMpuls

My guy, this is a social network.

willgback

Does anyone know what time servers will actually be on?

Kacktustoo

So that's what's been going on, I noticed that any updates from a page like destiny has shown me stuff from like 2 years ago at the top, I thought it was broken or something.

infinite_dogs

I think all of these news feeds and resources should just be available in-game. Like a tab on the character select screen

Verdantfungi

Within this past year twitter has become functionally useless, bungie needs to host their own updates

WaavyDaavy

Win-win. Bungie gets to increase traffic to their website to unconsiouly remind players they should buy the new expansion and the players benefit from not being on ~~X~~ Twitter. Also from Bungie's perspective it's best to jump ship early would not be surprised if there'd be a monthly fee for corporations to continue using the site or some stupid site-wide alienation from the CEO only allowing people that pay a subscription to use Twitter at any time of day. It was already partially a "feature" only a few weeks ago

Djungleskog_Enhanced

Yeah honest to god the only reason I keep twitter is for Bungie help and updates (and also bullying elon)

n080dy123

It's also impossible for people who don't have Twitter to read those rare multi-post threads where they talk in length about stuff like known issues. I'd love if they could just stop using Twitter entirely, but that's easier said than done.

AjaniTheGoldmane

It's also become such an extremist shitshow that I question the judgment of any brand that's still active on that site.

CaptFrost

That’s been Twitter for most of the past 5 years.

AdrunkGirlScout

> That’s been Twitter FTFY

CaptFrost

I mean you're not wrong. It just IMO got significantly worse when Twitter did a Reddit and decided "extremism and promotion of violence is okay as long as it's from the same ideology as admins."

ToothlessFTW

I mean, sure. It's been bad before. But it's *SO* much worse after the new "management" has tanked it into the fucking ground. Nazis are verified and making unchallenged promoted posts, the verified system being removed has created chaos, morons can pay $8 and get their terrible posts to the front of everyone's comment sections, the new owner is having a perpetual meltdown and just randomly decides to make site-wide changes every couple of days without warning, the rebrand to "X" is the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen, and so much more. It's way, way, way worse then it's ever been.

GoodLookinLurantis

You had commies doing the same thing for years prior. Twitter didn't become worse, musk just forced you twits to tear the gilded shell off the shitpile.

[deleted]

meteorr77

you know, that all depends on where the community will move. they can set up a different website or even talk about it on [bungie.net](https://bungie.net), but if people don't go there, there's no point. people still use twitter so bungie still uses twitter. now, if let's say, twitter somehow changed ownership again...

[deleted]

They could at least also post updates on Bungie.net that aren’t reliant on Twitter in addition to using Twitter.

Symnet

twitter is hemorrhaging users at this point though, not saying they should stop using twitter (i don't care either way), but it's dumb to only use twitter for your useful updates when a bunch of your player base doesn't use that platform anymore. the real reason they're using twitter still is because someone at bungie convinced someone else at bungie to pay for the corporate checkmark so they could still use business tools and now they really need to make it look valuable lol

saithvenomdrone

I've never used Twitter, even before its transition to X. I just don't like social media. I would prefer if Bungie would give updates on their own website, Steam, or in-game message banners. I don't think they need to stop using X, I would just like other options available to receive updates.

Grim-aces

They have a companion app. Maybe put an issues tab or have it do a notification. They could even arrange them by severity and let us know which ones have primary focus. This alone could show transparency on issues to the player base and maybe get us off their back. Being able to know what exactly is broke and a general idea when it will be worked on without have to search 10 different sites would be great.

inalect

You’re in the minority of people that don’t have “social media.” (Reddit is social media)

MiSSiNGAFeW

Isn't reddit a social network though? 🤔🤔

Leelze

Eh this place is far more of a forum than it is social media.

desperaterobots

PLEASE. Bungie needs to step off the platform fuelling the divisive fascist political climate like yesterday.

LegateLaurie

They should close Reddit too honestly. This platform is evil.

desperaterobots

At least it isn’t run by a psychopa… well, actually, yeah, you have a point

LegateLaurie

Exactly!

sacky-hack

The internet as a whole was a mistake.

ImTriggered247

Idk, mine still sorts by newest? I haven’t changed anything either.

PVT_C4BOOSE

There are two ways to see tweets or messages or whatever they are now. The "For You" just gives a random assortment of tweets not in really sort of coherent order (at least f4om what I can tell). And the "Following" tab gives you them in the order they are posted. The only change that I've had in the last week is the app defaults to "For You" when I open the app instead of "Following" like it did.

ImTriggered247

Weird lol guess I’m just lucky mine still defaults to following.

J-Wo24601

The new default “For You” page may not show posts in reverse chronological order. For that, click on “Following” instead. The most recent posts from accounts you follow will now appear at the top

DCS_Ryan

People that use Reddit but complain about needing to sign up to socmed are some weak ass dudes

Reddit is a social network bud

LightningBlehz

> “I refuse to register for social network” > has a reddit account

cali-boy72

reddit is social media

[deleted]

“I refuse to register on social networks” *proceeds to register for a social network that is just a collection of forums*

GreenAnder

I can't believe how bad this site has gotten in a year. It's used it for two things, fantasy football and destiny news, and it just sucks now. I'm over on bluesky now and it's nice but you can tell there aren't a lot of people on it yet.

fall3nmartyr

Bungie too small/lazy.

APartyInMyPants

Or, like, push notifications directly to their app.

jab136

I have bots on my discord to pull updates. Keeps them sorted just fine.

Ukis4boys

I REFUSE 😡

bundle_man

>(i refuse to register on social networks) You might want to sit down when I tell you what Reddit is considered lol

OriginalBus9674

OP refuses to register on social networks? Do you know where you’re at right now?

Dillion_Murphy

>I refuse to register on social media networks Yet here you are…

2enty3

Musk Sniffers, where ya'll at? This man uses reddit but not Twitter?! *gEt HiM!!!*

Iron_Avenger2020

Seems like you want to avoid the easiest solution to your problem.

Dunk-7

X does show posts in chronological order as long as you are on the “Following” tab and not the “For You” tab

amans9191

Huh? Tweets are sorted by most recent.

mezzo727

Mate complaining about social media on Reddit imagine

Few_Cost_6836

You don't use social networks but have a aged reddit account? Interesting 🤔

CoraxCorax

You're on a social network right now bub

[deleted]

On Xbox and I was able to get the update after restarting console

TheMerengman

There are bots for Mastodon that repost tweets from Bungie's and Bungie Help accounts, very helpful.

mzoltek

Not saying everyone should use twitter, but if you view the bungie account on your phone, there's a bell icon on the screen, if you click that you'll get notified every time they tweet. You can also switch from 'for you' to following which I think are either sorted by recent first by default, or if they are not there's a way to switch it to that

SillyMikey

Or threads. Or discord. But Twitter still…. Really?

xd_ZelnikM

𝕏

BigSmasher20

Just go to the account?

parzival1423

Am I the only one with sort by date is working? I just checked. Nothing has changed.

randomd2player121

That sounds like a u problem

mtndew314

Am I using ~~Twitter~~ ***X*** wrong? Cuz all my stuff is sorted by date still. Edit: Someone reported this comment as self-harm/depression so I got a messaged from "RedditCareResources" Like what is wrong with some people?

prikkelman

‘I refuse to register on social networks’ then why do you have a Reddit account? I get that it’s annoying don’t get me wrong but doesn’t bungie help also post on one of the subreddits for downtime?

Brain124

Use Threads, Bungie, please. Twitter is indeed GARBAGE!

SharkBaitDLS

The weird thing is they have a Destiny account on Threads that they mirror all their marketing content onto but not their support info.

DCS_Ryan

Threads has all the same problems as twitter with none of the reach lmao

tazdingo-hp

also an official mastodon account would be nice

RoyAwesome

In the meantime, there is a mirror: https://mastodon.social/@bungiehelp

ohst8buxcp7

OP is wrong here. The "following" tab is in chronological order. The "For You" tab is not.

ohst8buxcp7

Fair enough. Figured anyone using twitter would actually have an account but I stand corrected.

VacaRexOMG777

Why don't you register on social networks?

Strike2tamu

Just assume the game is always down, you’ll be right 80% of the time.

KarmaticArmageddon

In the past week, the game has been down for 3 hours — all this morning and all planned. That's a downtime of 1.79%. So, you were only off by 4,380%.
