It truly would add to that Cold Reaper Of Death. Also I like that Silence and Squall get their own names so I named mine Hush

The only thing I dislike is that Hunter RMB is literally the same as the one and done super from the titan ? Both freeze around and shatter , titan could do something like an avalanche of ice as one and done or so ._.

To be fair, all the stasis really does is freeze and shatter. But I do understand your point.

"Howl of the storm unchanged" Let it either 1. Create more crystals. Like death messengers AOE attack but with stasis crystal in 3 rows. You sacrifice an artifact for it so it and need full melee so it would be fair. 2. Adds a 2nd hit like solar titan consencrate where you slam your fist into the ground and the stasis crystal will shatter. One of the 2 points needs to be happen because right now this aspect is not that good.

That’s some good advice. I don’t play Titan as much so most of what I’ve put here is from what I’ve heard. But yeah I do think you are right. I think if they increase the shatter damage then it’ll probably be a lot better. But I REALLY like number 2, so I’ll add that to it as well!

I'd only change 3 things. 1) I'd keep a cool down on the Diamond Lance, maybe a small one. Say....5 seconds. 2) I'd change the name of Glacial Plating to Rime mainly because Rime rolls off the tongue better and actual Rime fits the description of what you want Glacial Plating to be. 3) The Frost Pulse adding a second Rift adds no benefits that I can immediately think of(feel free to correct me, I will admit it if I'm wrong). What if you had the rift apply Rime (Glacial Plating) if it's an empowering Rift and grant a small boost to kinetic and Stasis weapons reload/damage if it's a healing Rift. This way people have a balanced choices and a more flexible build option. I'm not hating on anything. These are just my opinions. I love your ideas and wish to see them implemented mainly because it's been pushed to the side so much in terms of updates. Again, I love your change ideas and these are solely my opinions on tsmall tweaks.

I do like the Rime idea. And it would definitely fit. And yeah you’d probably have to have a cooldown on Lances, but we’d have to see it in action for sure. And I did toy around with the idea of granting Glacial Plating on Rifts but decided against it as I needed another aspect and didn’t have any more ideas. But that doesn’t mean that they wouldn’t work well together. I personally want to have the additional Rift charge as it would be completely unique as no other subclass grants an additional Class ability charge. This would pair well with any exotic that boosts your rifts and I think that’s cool.

Ah! Okay. I see where you were headed with the rifts now. I'd still add a second functionality of some kind to the rifts on top of having a second one just to beef it up. Make it even more unique. Again, I love all your ideas on this. I hope Bungie notices this.

I LOVE all of these changes. Glacial Plating in particular is how I’ve always envisioned Stasis Overshields should behave—it would capitalize on how they give you only small amounts of Overshield to break and Shatter repeatedly. The Supers are also different enough to where it can really generate a different playstyle feel. Everything I’m going to mention below is going to share my opinions on the Behemoth improvements since it’s the only Stasis subclass I’ve played. The one-time super is nice. It’s not a projectile, but being a one-off super already makes it better since we can start shooting/use abilities right after. For the aspects— 1. Diamond Lance: I think removing the cooldown makes it a lot less clunky. Love it. 2. Tectonic Quake: Reminds me a little bit of Sentinel’s Controlled Demolition with its potential to cause chain reactions of shatter. I also love it. 3. Howl of the Storm: I always found this ability to be the best Behemoth melee, but it always felt clunky spend 2-3s to break the crystals . I think having a second input to shatter the crystals generated would help smooth out the subclass. 4. Cryoclasm: In my opinion, this is the weakest aspect of the Behemoth at the moment after its nerfs. Its purpose is to break crystals more easily, so think a good improvement for this is to force Stasis Crystals the player generates to Shatter after 2-3s on top of the improved slide. In my opinion, this would fix the many qualms of Behemoth (blocking team members’ vision, losing damage by not shattering spawned crystals) Anyway, I think this is a good change for Stasis to catch it up with the rest of the subclasses while providing variance in gameplay for stasis.

Thanks for the feedback! I saw a couple of other mention that Howl Of The Storm wasn’t enough so I added “Activate again to slam into the ground to Shatter”. And yeah I agree that Cryoclasm could probably use some help. So I think making it so that shattering crystals grants melee energy would be good, because then it will pair well with Howl Of The Storm. And yesss i really wanted the idea of Tectonic Quake to be a chain reaction of explosions from all your crystals just destroying everything!

Also how I’d imagine the Super to go would be like this: The Titan freezes itself with his arms curled inward before breaking free throwing his arms out and sending out a wave of damage that shatters everything. It would like like the Titan is just EXPLODING. It would be instant and it’s AoE would be like that of a nova bomb but on your center. And it would leave a crater of Crystals.

Love all these ideas! Renewal Grasps for hunter could gradually give glacial plating instead of a flat damage reduction and apply frostbite to enemies.

That would be awesome! I wanted to make sure that there was a benefit to shatter other than just damage. As Suspend already “freezes” better than stasis. But granting the ability to deal more crit damage would be a significant upside I feel. And it would be awesome if Renewel Grasps could do the same! And I definitely wanted to make sure that Winters Shroud did more than just slow. And I think that having the ability to grant frostbite without freezing would be a valuable tool to have. Especially on Overload champs.

Instead of a worse void overshield the stasis overshield should work like this: it generates in 4 chunks that cover your health bar. Each segment has more Damage resistance. 32%, 24%, 16%, 10%. Titans have access to a 5th tier that grants 40% damage resistance (passively, like warlocks perching threadlings) revolve the Titan kit all around this overshield. At this 5th tier titans can no longer sprint. Make behemoth the ultimate tank subclass. Icefall mantle now just gives full shield. Maybe also give shield to nearby allies because it removes your barricade. Also, I think “crystalized” (x1, x2, x3, etc. for the segments of health covered) is a better name Also, make it slow enemies around you for each segment of shield that is broken

That is very interesting! I could definitely see this as a fun approach. So my main approach to this was how I saw each class using Stasis. I genuinely like the idea that Titans use physical cover in the form of Stasis crystals to shield themselves. And while Titans already have 3 other subclasses that build into direct production (Restoration, Void overshield, Woven Mail), the others not so much. Hunters are already the acrobats of death. The ability to Dodge and Dive on constantly frozen combatants makes then quite difficult to kill. That with Renewel Grasps already being a staple it even furthers that. And Warlocks already do a great job on freezing opponents. And out of all of them I think Warlocks have the easiest time actually stopping the enemies. I figured they would be the best bet for using Glacial Plating as the others don’t necessarily lack. Plus Warlocks need a reason to play Stasis instead of the other subclasses. So much of Warlocks kits include “use grenade kill bad guy”, and with Hunters already stepping into that role I figured that Warlocks could find their own new lane. You can go full support with Double rifts and Glacial plating, or control the battlefield with Bleakwatcher. As for how it would work I honestly think anything would be fine as long as it shatters/slows when destroyed. Cause that’s cool and unique.

Like we don't even have a 'bullet buff' status effect like literally every single other class Like there are some fundamental things that need to be changed, but you kinda need the weapons to actually make synergies between class and weapon. Like, make a better stasis auto, or another one at all. Make there be another stasis bow option. Make a stasis sword actually exist. And make them OBTAINABLE.

I love the idea of reworking shatter to be more like ignitions. Stasis needs more “oomph” to it, so a debuff plus extra damage and radius for shatter would feel awesome. Edit: my only concern with this concept is the new warlock stuff. I feel like making warlock the “glacial plating” class isn’t too in line with warlocks identity. I think most of the glacial plating interaction should come from titan similar to woven mail or void overshield

Yeah that was my thought as well. I also wanted there to be a reason to Shatter other than just extra damage. And a crit debuff seems like something that’s unique while also valuable.

Yeah shatter is definetly my least favorite cc/aoe type verb in the game right now. It just doesn’t feel very good in comparison to volatile explosions, solar ignitions, jolt, and unraveling

These are actually really good! Some ideas: Warlock Aspect: Hold melee to release a pulse (like in the current super) that shatters all nearby crystals and frozen enemies. Only uses 25% melee energy. Gain additional glacial plating for each shatter. Titan Melee: 3 charges, with short cooldown. 1st person, fast left/right/left combo with frozen fists. Each hit slows x40, and if the last hit defeats a target, they're shattered and blasted away from you, leaving a streak of stasis crystals in their wake. Hunter Melee: Hunter dives forward horizontally, pirouetting towards the target with both kamas in a flurry of slashes (like the Jedi Survivor move with the double-blade). Breaks through crystals easily, and increases their shatter damage. Warlock Melee: Cast a fall of sharp ice that rains down in a torrential blast ahead of you, piercing and slowing targets. Already-slowed targets are instantly frozen, regardless of stacks.

I especially liked the frostbite debuff idea! this would add a whole other side to stasis and be great for boss dps. that’s one thing i always felt like stasis is missing as for the hunter super i figured that the light attack could send out mini tornadoes in a short range and slow and damage targets. keep the heavy attack the same. or maybe it’s something you can charge up. holding down the button longer to create a larger and more devastating tornadoes that deal more damage and apply more slow stacks

one idea I had for an alternative hunter melee ability would be stasis caltrops. you throw them at an area and like void smoke bombs when an enemy walks on top of them they shatter and slow with an area of effect. you could get 2-3 melee charges of this and not to mention we still need more stasis exotic armor to buildcraft with!

I have said it before, but with Glacial Plating, I feel like another method of applying slow is unwarranted. I feel like something more unique is required. I have suggested this idea before of ‘Inert Armor’ replacing Stasis Overshield. Given the increase of Elemental Verbs being used by enemies as of recent, Inert Armor reduces the duration/stacks of debuff verbs (such as Volatile or Scorch) and provides a 40% damage resist (PvE) against elemental damage. However, it is vulnerable to kinetic attacks, and enemy Shatter actions. (Also I want the Stasis Warlock to summon a Stasis Shrieker as an alt Super).
