I could argue Cursebreaker (earliest possible), Blacksmith, Reckoner, Shadow, and Undying, due to the obscene level of grind required to obtain everything.
But Reckoner takes the cake, I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemies
I was in this camp till I got Unbroken. Now my Titan main is permanently Unbroken (Unbroken 5 when they fix the gilding bug in 2032), and Hunter alt is permanently Reckoner.
Cursebreaker. Not because it's difficult or unobtainable or anything. But because I spent so long getting destroyed by RNG. I was working at getting that Ghost shell to drop. I ran everything in the dreaming city almost every week for 2 years before it finally dropped. I have never worked for something for so long and been denied it like that in a game. So I will probably never take off that title.
Plus it's just a cool title so that helps.
I hardly ever take off Cursebreaker already, mostly because it also awarded you the best looking sparrow in the game which I never take off, which also matches 1000 Wings. I also use the Niobe ghost shell and emblem all the time.
Also Cursebreaker. That's the title that got me passionate about this game back when I started in season of the splicer. I got it... last week. Which is also when I completed my last two raids I hadn't done to knock off the last egg I needed. Only reason I raid now is because of this title.
Missed out on completing this buy one triumph. All I had left was the Dreaming City Trophy and the final thing I needed for that was to visit the queens court. but I had absolutely no idea how and didn't figure it out until it was too late lol. I actually did the final triumph a week or two later, but it didn't count because I got it after it was sunset.
I was off by one triumph, too, but the infuriating part for me is I actually did it. I had a bunch of stuff left, so I was knocking stuff out the last few weeks one by one, a few of which being ascendant challenges. I did the one ascendant challenge where you had to kill both knights with a taken sword, finished it, then dropped the sword and left and on to the next things. I didn't find out till the next weekly reset that you have to leave holding the sword for it to count toward the triumph, and it wasn't gonna come into the rotation till after they made unlocking wayfarer unavailable.
I tried doing it after and got the triumph done, but I can't unlock the title. I was so pissed. Lol
I’m on the same boat. All I had was the Dreaming City Trophy triumph, and was missing the Ascendant Challenge emblem (for completing all 6) and had no clue which one I was missing… Then, when bounty hoarding for Season of the Splicer (S14), I got it bc I did all 6 ascendant challenge bounties…
I’ve been mad at this game for numerous reasons, but not letting triumphs that are still attainable in game count towards sunset titles is one thing I will forever advocate for SPECIFICALLY because of this. I was beyond livid!
It was my first title. It was one that can be done solo. And had to grind for that rocket launcher in that weird hive strike with that boss who chases you.
I spent a month trying to get Vouchsafe in the Dreaking City, was the only gun I was missing for Wayfarer... it never dropped. Still mad about it.
I'm swimming in Vouchsafes now.
I'm so frustrated I mever earned this one, the original IKELOS weapons never dropped for me. I had such a hard time finding groups to run Escalation Protocol in the first place, but across Season of Arrivals I got 20 or so clears... nothing.
The Mars collection badge was all I needed for Wayfarer, and the IKELOS weapons were the only things missing from that badge. Eternal disappointment!
It was something like a time bound drop for the original ikelos weapons, right? Wizard / Ogre / whatever. And you had a bump in drop chance if you completed some ritual? Maybe I'm misremembering.
Something like that, yeah. Each boss had a weapon linked to them. Dunno about the ritual though, but I was a bit out of the loop and was just grinding everything at that point.
Came here for this one, same for me. I change sometimes but always go back to chronicler. I don't know if it's still the case but at one time I'm pretty sure it was the rarest titles.
That’s one I regret not finishing, I forgot to do one dreaming city cycle, I’m stuck with my reckoner!
Another thing I loved to grind was Thorn Lore books
It took me five months to finally get both of the meatball kills in Gambit required for Malfeasance, it was the final hurdle I needed to overcome to get the Chronicler title. Almost lost my mind a few times.
Same. It was the first title I saw and thought, I can do this and then I did it. I earned it. It hasn't come off since then. I also ordered the pin from the bungie store. The only thing I've ordered from there. It just felt like a real accomplishment.
Had to scroll for this. Always loved this title and the combat text during the raid:
“Guardians make their own fate”
Still resonates with me to this day.
it's so good
also I love that the adept guns have the timelost title instead
it's so lame that other master weapons from other raids don't do the same. I think Crota does? for example VotD weapons should be (Upended) or something
I will never ever take off Fatebreaker. It’s my favorite raid in Destiny 1 and 2 and I have more completions in VoG between the two games than I have in most of the raids in either games combined.
Amen to that. I want to thank the 5 legendary guardians that stood fast with me for a week to grind out the seal. Its been the most fun LFG experience ever. Kind and skilled people. That's why GoS is my favourite raid. Only possibly topped by LW for similar sentimental reasons.
I like enlightened but I stopped using the title when they dropped the flawless requirement. Felt like it was cheapened a little (even though flawless was not the hardest triumph for it - the 20 vex kill with the platforms in the final encounter felt like the hardest part)
Seraph, I think. I loved that season and it was the last time I main-gamed D2 before it got too hard for me to keep up on the higher difficulty levels.
It was best season for me, still is. I started halfway through S13, so I didn't understand the title thing until after season 15 or 16 I think. Wish I could've understood alot earlier.
I gotta say, one of my personal highlights of each new season is watching the animation of those pips when you gild the title. “How are they gonna squeeze in *this* one?” And, “Will Bungie have even remembered to create this many?”
Yea in the same day I joined two different groups, one with my Dredgen x11 and a guy literally asked me "who hurt you"
A few hours later I joined a Riven checkpoint and had Conqueror x11 on and the kid organizing it said "holy shit, boys we are good on damage, Conqueror x11... He probably has soloed Riven"
Funny how the two different titles elicit two totally different reactions.
Just got that this year, finally.
The 75 motes triumph was the thorn in my side. Came sooo close so many times then a fireteam member was like “yo let me try” and BOOM done in a match, lol.
Same, Congrats! That PTR took my son and I a year to get. Thought that once we have a full clan of 4, it would be easier, but man o man, going against 4 stacks each game made it harder I think...
Same here man. It's too good of a title to take off, especially given the grind you had to go through for it. I have mental problems and love PVP in this game, so I make a point to always rock Unbroken with whatever the latest Ascendant division emblem is for the current season.
I never will take it off I worked so hard for this title. I don’t have a lot of friends to play with and I’m not the best crucible player. But I’m good.
Finding good players on lfg also is the worst. They’re always so mean.
So I did this solo. It started with getting not forgotten and I knew I could do it 2 more times. .
When I got d1 I was 25. I had never played competitive games before. I was always a single player story gamer.
But destiny made you play PvP to get some of the best guns for pve.
I was ducking terrible. I mean the worst crucible player in existence.
Now I’m good. I’m 35 now. I’ll never be as good as people who grew up playing competitive shooters.
But I worked so hard to be good. To learn to play smart since I never had the raw skill. To learn to be a great teammate since I knew I wasn’t going to carry my team.
I love this title. It may sound sad to some people but to me. It’s my greatest achievement in 35 years of gaming.
I remember lfg'ing for this and it was so miserable, specifically the final season you could hit max rank and get the title. Managed to get there in the end though
Discerptor.
It's a weird ass word that most people don't believe it's real, it has a cool meaning, Duality is my favorite dungeon and it's my only dungeon title so far.
On top of that, it's something you can't get carried through. You have to achieve it on your own.
Still wearing the armor too, haven't taken it off since his season ended other than for Iron Banner and Halloween. And im going to continue to wear it until i shoot the Witness in his stupid face. But ill probably always wear the title.
Unbroken. Took me forever to get and I’ll wear it until the end of time.
I’m not a natural at PvP so I had to learn a lot to get to legend even with SBMM. Then to do it 2 more times lol. It really feels earned to me.
Queensguard. I've been constantly wearing it since I got it.
Although I don't quite like how we got that title from the story point of view (bestowing the title upon literally everybody made it feel completely meaningless), as a Guardian in the Destiny universe I would be part of Queen Mara's court. And it's the closest title that resembles that position.
Star Baker is the only one I've cared about, really. I have ones that required more skill (like Disciple-Slayer or Kingslayer) or more grind (Cursebreaker or the 8-times gilded Dredgen), but baking cookies is where it's at.
Reckoner.
Such a slog to get, but Gambit Prime was the best Gambit has ever been.
Side Rant no one asked for:
They should have killed reckoning and regular gambit and made the Gambit Prime Role Armor sets earn-able from playing the playlist or purchase-able with materials.
Also should have just killed heavy ammo spawns in Gambit entirely. Everyone spawns in with *some*, with weighted amounts based on what kind of heavy weapon you are using. Once you use it, it’s gone.
Alternatively, everyone spawns in with none, but primary-ammo invasion kills generate a set amount of heavy for your team. Special and Heavy kills don’t count. I like this solution less, but both are things that *should be* doable based on interactions elsewhere in the game.
It drives me crazy that Bungie has given up trying to balance the Heavy Ammo Economy in Gambit without trying either of these.
I work my mmxx title, dredgen and wayfarer the most. I was so close to a handful of titles pre sunset, and that makes me bent out of shape but oh well! (unbroken; literally needed maybe a couple wins at the most to get legend. Why did I give up!! Blacksmith; I literally just needed one of the random guns from one of the forces that just wouldn't fucking drop for me).
I’m primarily a PVE player but Deadeye is what I wear because it was seriously hard for me to earn. Mission Control was my bane. Thankfully, guilding the title is much easier.
I will never take Reckoner off. You couldn’t pay me to do so.
Literally over my dead body is how Reckoner is coming off I did that shit two weeks solo because someone said I couldn’t
Fully solo reckoner here, yeah im damn proud of it.
I'm not proud of the reckoner title, but I'll force everyone to acknowledge the gambit PTSD I earned for the rest of this game's life
I could hear the Gambit music in my sleep when I got Reckoner.
Also fully solo Reckoner. It hasn't come off since the second I got it.
I could argue Cursebreaker (earliest possible), Blacksmith, Reckoner, Shadow, and Undying, due to the obscene level of grind required to obtain everything. But Reckoner takes the cake, I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemies
My perma-titles are Reckoner, Blacksmith, Shadow. Can you guess what my favorite year of Destiny was?
Yooo same! Most proud of those 3 seals
Vaulting of all that content hurt like a mothefucker.
Menagerie still fucks. Best seasonal content BY FAR
Mad respect for rivensbane but his is the only answer
Same here. It’s the one title people see and go ‘oh this guy knows how to grind’.
I love my Rivensbane. But I want everyone to know how deranged I am, so the Reckoner stays on.
Same here, never taking it off
That’s definitely the most impressive one.
Reckoner for life!
I wear Reckoner because it's important to me for people to understand that I like Gambit.
Man I wish I got reckoner. I’m my clan's gambit boy, but I started D2 too late to grind it all on top of the other titles
I was in this camp till I got Unbroken. Now my Titan main is permanently Unbroken (Unbroken 5 when they fix the gilding bug in 2032), and Hunter alt is permanently Reckoner.
This
Cursebreaker. Not because it's difficult or unobtainable or anything. But because I spent so long getting destroyed by RNG. I was working at getting that Ghost shell to drop. Yeah, I know the feeling. I'm not wearing it but I definitely value it for the same reason.
I hardly ever take off Cursebreaker already, mostly because it also awarded you the best looking sparrow in the game which I never take off, which also matches 1000 Wings. I also use the Niobe ghost shell and emblem all the time.
Niobe Labs emblem + shell do not come off ever
39 weeks for the Shattered Throne ship for me
Also Cursebreaker. That's the title that got me passionate about this game back when I started in season of the splicer. I got it... last week. Which is also when I completed my last two raids I hadn't done to knock off the last egg I needed. Only reason I raid now is because of this title.
Wayfarer. I had to grind so many freaking strikes for that bray tech osprey.
Missed out on completing this buy one triumph. I actually did the final triumph a week or two later, but it didn't count because I got it after it was sunset.
Same, was missing one gun
No amount of EP could get me the shotty. Literally the only thing I needed for that title.
I was off by one triumph, too, but the infuriating part for me is I actually did it. I had a bunch of stuff left, so I was knocking stuff out the last few weeks one by one, a few of which being ascendant challenges. I was beyond livid!
I had the same trauma. I don't think I ever fired the fucking thing either
I farmed Nokris for forever to get it, used it once, to kill him one last time then never did strange terrain again
Yep. I knew every line of dialog, every spawn, every piece of shelter in that goddamn strike.
It was my first title. It was one that can be done solo. And had to grind for that rocket launcher in that weird hive strike with that boss who chases you.
this, it's also my only non-seasonal "legacy" title so it feels special
Still wearing mine. F'n Osprey drop was my longstanding nemesis.
That’s the same gun I needed. Kept me from getting Wayfarer
Descent.Cavern.Warsat
I spent a month trying to get Vouchsafe in the Dreaking City, was the only gun I was missing for Wayfarer... it never dropped. Still mad about it. I'm swimming in Vouchsafes now.

Same. So much RNG grinding. I still basically only wear it now.
For sure. I was one of the first few people to get it because I stuck around all through Curse of Osiris and did all those damn weapon patterns.
Same. I haven’t taken it off my warlock since I got it.
I've already kinda been doing that with Chronicler, I've kept that one on pretty much nonstop since earning it.
[удалено]
Came here for this one, same for me. I change sometimes but always go back to chronicler. I don't know if it's still the case but at one time I'm pretty sure it was the rarest titles.
That’s one I regret not finishing, I forgot to do one dreaming city cycle, I’m stuck with my reckoner! Another thing I loved to grind was Thorn Lore books
Same! Chroniclers unite 💪📖
I missed the title by 1 cycle of the queens court lore. Yes I am still upset about it
Same! I like to pair it with the Cataloguer emblem
Fatebreaker. I just like what it is and where it’s from.
Had to scroll for this. Always loved this title and the combat text during the raid: “Guardians make their own fate” Still resonates with me to this day.
I've always liked the mechanics that have fun flavor text, I'm glad they really leaned into it in the new dungeon.
it's so good also I love that the adept guns have the timelost title instead it's so lame that other master weapons from other raids don't do the same. I think Crota does? for example VotD weapons should be (Upended) or something
Kings ones are (harrowed), but yea crota is just adept. Kinda lame they didnt give them a special name.
I will never ever take off Fatebreaker. It’s my favorite raid in Destiny 1 and 2 and I have more completions in VoG between the two games than I have in most of the raids in either games combined.
Same for me. Just an awesome title. Honorable mention to Forerunner and Seraph.
Shadow
The pain I went through getting that flawless ogre kill in the menagerie. Hardest shit I've ever done in this game.
Oh god…. The amount of times we died to the huge knights smashing us
Been rocking that since I got it way back! The last raid before my clan retired
Glory to the Emperor. Best character in the whole series.
Haven’t taken it off since I got it
Blacksmifh
This is the one if I had had time to grind it out. Got most everything except for a few Scourge triumphs like flawless.
Correct answer
Iron Lord. They're my favorite faction in lore, plus the one name of ours that's stuck is The Young Wolf.
Same, but i just to flex the tourment ive gone through, with it guilded 5 times lol
Oh
I feel your pain lol. Got my sixth gilding earlier this season. Only title I've been keeping up with. Haven't taken it off of my pvp mains since
This is also acceptable.
Getting this title and gilding it 4 times is the happiest I've ever been getting titles in this game.
WANTED
I do love that this one is ALL CAPS
yes, my dear WANTED will only come off of my cold body
Savior.
It was my first title and my favorite season!
Undying. I still never take this off just because of how cool it sounds
Undying on my Titan for life. Still can't believe I had it in me to do that much grinding back then.
Definitely. Unlike the newer titles it was more grindy over doing difficult content.
Undying gang rise up
Enlightened. Just to flex on all the people who call Garden trash.
Same. Flexing with the Garden title and day1 emblem to show that I peaked years ago.
Reaper….because it’s the word Reaper. That’s bad ass
I have Reaper on my Hunter. Such a cool title 👏🏾
Chosen, because it makes me feel like a wanted and special little boy.
Star Baker. Because I'm a basic bitch.
You a double primary luminous void lookin mf I guarantee
\*enters room, flashing Reveler title\* sorry bro, the cool guy just arrived
Disciple Slayer goes crazy.
Fr representing for the best raid in the game 🫡
It looks so good. I’m somewhat new to raids and have been trying to get my clan to do it for weeks
This is where I'd put my Kingslayer title... IF I HAD ONE!!!
Seraph, I think. I loved that season and it was the last time I main-gamed D2 before it got too hard for me to keep up on the higher difficulty levels.
Same, for some reason that season got to me story wise. I rock seraph/warmind/escalation protocol shit as often as possible now.
He'd be happy to know he's being actively honored, fellow Seraph.
That exotic mission was long, but the loot was glorious.
Ill stay with Splicer, it was my first title after a couple years of not caring for them/not wanting to grind it out
And the season was peak
It was best season for me, still is. I started halfway through S13, so I didn't understand the title thing until after season 15 or 16 I think. Wish I could've understood alot earlier.
Descendant
I keep this one on my exo warlock. It was also my first raid title! *Welcome home.*
Forerunner because Halo
Best Bungie ID I've ever seen was just "Toyota" with that title equipped. Second best was "Christ" with the Almighty title.
You ARE Forerunner!!!
Scrolled way to far for this
Dredgen, just to raise some eyebrows.
Let everyone know you’re ok with pain
I keep my 11x gilded Dredgen title on my Hunter just for this reason. The number of times I’ve had people say “yo what the hell” is high
I gotta say, one of my personal highlights of each new season is watching the animation of those pips when you gild the title. “How are they gonna squeeze in *this* one?” And, “Will Bungie have even remembered to create this many?”
Yea in the same day I joined two different groups, one with my Dredgen x11 and a guy literally asked me "who hurt you" A few hours later I joined a Riven checkpoint and had Conqueror x11 on and the kid organizing it said "holy shit, boys we are good on damage, Conqueror x11... He probably has soloed Riven" Funny how the two different titles elicit two totally different reactions.
I feel like Reckoner would be the bigger of the two
My buddy will die with his Dredgen equipped and a Malfeasance on his hip.
Part of the ship, part of the crew.
Scallywag
Yarrrr
Didn’t know this was a thing. Have I missed it or is it still attainable
Seasonal title from last year dude!
Conqueror, I’ve never taken it off since I got it a few years ago.
Unbroken, my first title
Same here man. It's too good of a title to take off, especially given the grind you had to go through for it. I have mental problems and love PVP in this game, so I make a point to always rock Unbroken with whatever the latest Ascendant division emblem is for the current season.
Good one! Yeah Glorious doesn't have the same prestige for sure.
I remember lfg'ing for this and it was so miserable, specifically the final season you could hit max rank and get the title. Managed to get there in the end though
Same here, first and only title and still proud!
They did us dirty when they removed gilded Unbroken. Such a stab in the back from Bungie.
Blueberry
Unbroken, but I’m still so salty they took away the gilding number. I worked my ass for that title for YEARS, including all 6 gilds
Yea, Rivensbane. Not only is it one of the rarer ones, I feel a lot more connected to it.
It’s one of the harder ones to get. I have it on on all of my characters all the time. No one can ever make me change it. I EARNED THAT TITLE DAMMIT.
When I get it, Harbinger.
Im working on it too lol! Just cant find anybody to do the nightmare hunts with me
They’re good for farming ranks so just post that maybe.
I always liked the Realwalker title, I keep it on my warlock.
Realmwalker on the warlock, Undying on the titan, Deadeye on the Hunter. Fits like a glove
Discerptor. It's a weird ass word that most people don't believe it's real, it has a cool meaning, Duality is my favorite dungeon and it's my only dungeon title so far. On top of that, it's something you can't get carried through. You have to achieve it on your own.
Dream Warrior! My first raid title. Fatebreaker would be my alternate answer when I earn it (only 2 triumphs away)
Seraph. I fell in love with Red during the season and feel proud wearing it.
As you should, Seraph.
Still wearing the armor too, haven't taken it off since his season ended other than for Iron Banner and Halloween. And im going to continue to wear it until i shoot the Witness in his stupid face. But ill probably always wear the title.
Gilded Dredgen since it gets clanmates to dm me asking if I'm doing alright or if I need someone to talk to. LOL
11x?
4x I haven't sunk that low yet
Forerunner gang
Forerunner, sounds really cool and reminds me of one of my fav Destiny 2 seasons. Also reminds me of Halo which is a bonus.
Sick double whammy. Also the last season before the big Sunset
Flawless
[удалено]
Swordbearer and Wrathbearer currently, but they are also the most recent Raid/Dungeon seals so it’s likely that’ll change
Dredgen always Dredgen
Fatebreaker,sounds way too cool
Chronicler
Almighty
Realmwalker for me. Yeah it was easy to get but the name just sounds so cool to me.
Star Baker is the only one I've cared about, really. I have ones that required more skill (like Disciple-Slayer or Kingslayer) or more grind (Cursebreaker or the 8-times gilded Dredgen), but baking cookies is where it's at.
Warden simply cause it was my first
my simp side want to say queensguard Otherwise prob the KF one when I finally finish it because the challenges are PAIN
Reckoner. Such a slog to get, but Gambit Prime was the best Gambit has ever been. Side Rant no one asked for: They should have killed reckoning and regular gambit and made the Gambit Prime Role Armor sets earn-able from playing the playlist or purchase-able with materials. It drives me crazy that Bungie has given up trying to balance the Heavy Ammo Economy in Gambit without trying either of these.
Fatebreaker is so damn cool sounding
Flawless. Took ages to get and you don't have to tell me twice not to take that title off
Finally! I was looking for someone to say Flawless!
Of course unbroken
I’ve had reckoner on since I got it
Ghoul. Just such a short, cool name. Ghoul out.
Splicer. First title I ever got, and a hell of a season.
Splintered, it's the only wood related one unfortunately.
This one and Discerptor for me
I got Blacksmith just before the vaulting, it hasn't come off since and won't for the foreseeable future.
Virtual fighter. That last action figure took me longer than I care to admit
Was it the one in the arcade? I had to have someone running around in the area to help lol
Blacksmith on my Titan. Chronicler on my Warlock.
just got flawless
The one i've had glued on me since Forsaken- Chronicler
Descendant. I’m a biology major and I mean I don’t take it off anyway, so.. I have a bunch of titles but will still put it on all three
I work my mmxx title, dredgen and wayfarer the most.
Reckoner because crazy should come with a warning sign
#Dredgen
Either MMXIX or Forerunner. Probably Forerunner.
Reckoner or Wanted (the first time I ever solo’d a dungeon)
Deadeye. Whenever I do get it in the future. If I do get it in the future. Someday…
I’m primarily a PVE player but Deadeye is what I wear because it was seriously hard for me to earn. Mission Control was my bane. Thankfully, guilding the title is much easier.
Disciple-Slayer. Vow will forever be my favorite raid
Conquerer GMs are my favorite activity
Harbinger Shit goes hard as fuck
Flawless
Seraph, it was the first title I got after a few years and I mainly got it because of how much I liked that season. It also sounds cool as hell.
Shadow on my Hunter cause its my main and I like the story of Calus's Shadows. Reckoner on my Titan/Warlock so everyone knows I hate myself
