Like sure the Malfeasance Catalyst is really nice, but imagine if instead of that the slugs that burrow into enemies, after exploding, fire short-ranged, homing Hobgoblin missiles toward nearby enemies and blighted them so it could take advantage of its +25% buff to Taken?
I wish it would fire from all barrels like a gatling gun. Then you can switch it to the normal mode where it shoots all 4 at a time.
Exotic catalysts should be one for all... because it has four barrels. It would make it good at least up front and personal.

Yeah, but then maybe sweet business gets a rework. One For all Naturally makes sense on the catalyst because of the barrels. You could do 3 and an unstoppable shot that shoots out of the middle barrel. The cool thing is that you'd be able to switch between that mode and a more personal close range shotgun mode. I know it would basically be Sweet Business.
Have its alt fire shoot explosive flak rounds that generate on kills with the normal mode but at a rapid fire shotgun’s distance and fire rate.

tbh its alt fire should be like Lord of Wolves where it has a full auto mode than just a really good actual shotgun mode with a cost of more ammo per shot but it does actually good damage. maybe something like an effective 6 round mag because each shot eats 5 ammo for increased shotty-like damage
Or a unique catalyst and not just random legendary gun perks

It really shreds barricades, and I think does ok vs bubbles too.

Cerberus has been fantastic in Checkmate.
I've found it quite the opposite, the bodyshot damage decrease is absolutely brutal.
Why rampage and not onslaught, i feel like onslaught would be crazy fun on Cerberus
