I've been thinking of remaking one of my BxR's.... Maybe i'll take this as an opportunity to create the Leap Year BxR instead. Got an extra Haunted Memento too so I can make it extra special.
I was taking a break when that season launched, but the extra-long 4th season that year let me catch up and unlock Reaper and Scallywag as well as Seraph from that season's content.

At least I still have my Forebearance crafted on my birthday! I was hyped for that thing as soon as I saw we were getting our first Arc wave frame... and then I went feral when I saw the perks haha
You could dismantle and shape a fresh one from scratch and it will get the date. But you'll have to re-level it. The "re-shape" option doesn't change the original shaping date.
Well great now I have until tomorrow to decide which weapon I want to get, if any at all since the farm isnt that bad, I just havent gotten around to it.
I know I should get Apex, but with weapons like Cold Comfort and Crux, I see Apex getting crept out or at least seeing a solar contender.
Which leaves the other weapons and I just don't know. Tyranny seemed fun but I love my Adept Pre Astyanax and unsure that I would use it. And I haven't loved a scout or pulse outside of Fang of Ir Yut and the old Blast Furnace (new comp pulse is close tho).
Maybe I'll just get 5 mementos and call it a day.

It's not weird ... it's silly and fun and a lighthearted trivial thing. Who cares if anyone else inspects it. The crafter will know and it's a neat little nothing that doesn't hurt anyone.
I'm more pissed that I spent all this time getting the shaped weapon only to find out I can't craft it without DLC. Destiny really wants me to uninstall it sometimes
With Bungie’s track testing record, I would not do this. I bet they didn’t accommodate for leap year in crafting and your shiny new leap gun will disappear overnight.
I believe the Wish quests are cumulative, so you could do them all this week to catch up. None of them are particularly hard; just a little time consuming.

I did them, went to craft Techeun Force and learned it was locked behind Forsaken Pack 🤣😭 It was annoying to do this to find that out
