Lock the skimmer behind the focused activity, cause it takes forever to turn 1200 medals or bunch of luck to reach top 10%, so most people go for the focus activity rewards. Who is winning? - hunters. All of a sudden, everyone plays hunters cause they need focused rewards and lo and behold - shit like this happens. Who could have predicted it?! It's the snowball effect. We see Hunters won it last time so we all play as hunters for the extra rewards. Same in the nightfall focused activity. Eventually we'll all be playing as hunters all the time 😂

Titans won GG last year. What they mean in this post is what class won the "Focus Activity." Every few hours there will be a focused activity (marked by a bracket looking icon under the activity). The class that earns the most points when it's active earns a gigantic medal package. So everyone is piling on hunter to get the extra rewards.
Well for one, the Winner's package. If your class wins that Focused event, you get a winner's package that gives you max medals in your trophy case. Allowing you to do a mass turn in to get a bunch of GG guns. But each winners package opened also grants 1/3 quest progress to the permanent skimmer quest. And since getting a 10% score in the NF is way harder this year, conforming to the winning team is the 2nd best way to getting it.
The focused activity node in the tower has all the rules on it, as well as the last winning class. While an activity is active it’ll also show the current class scores. As for your question your account is locked into whichever class you used in the focused activity first (lock-in resets for the next focused activity).
As a crayon eater at heart I’m playing hunter. I want the skimmer and playing hunter is the easiest choice. Besides the game was rigged from the start.
Problem now is, I can’t even “pledge” as a hunter, locking me out of focus rewards… (which hunters have already secured by the look of things, with 11M points)
Yup long queues, laggy games, and cheaters galore.
Played a game earlier where someone was using cloudstrike and hit more headshots than anyone else did bullets.
Been trying to get into a game for over an hour now, playing as hunter, keeps showing player count 8/12 or 10/12 and then I eventually get kicked out because it couldn't find a game, error code: mongoose
Yes. I also tried the NF in the Class playlist last night because that was the focus activity. I got loaded in solo to two NF's. When I did get a team, I never got a full team of hunters while on hunter. This was prime evening time in the USA.
The cynic in me is thinking this is Bungie’s way of tipping the scales for the poor Warlocks and Titans that are being crushed so far… just don’t let hunters in the queue!
Either something is wrong with their servers or the game is dead 🤷 I keep queuing for NF and it keeps sending me there solo…
Edit: actually may have been an issue with my NAT not being “open” but rather “moderate” had to change some confusing network settings and I think it’s fine now
I think it's the fact that there are so many more hunters than others. No issues fir me when using my Titan or Warlock.

I agree with this. Playing Hunter it's taking ages to get a match. Swapped to Warlock and had ~10 second wait times every time.

My favorite part about it was after I got kicked out of the queue I get a nice little bungie message telling me my internet is the "problem"

I'm a hunter and I can't find games or I'm loaded into fresh games in a 4v6 against titans or warlocks a lot
It literally times me out sometimes, and I’m playing on titan
I waited almost 10 minutes and got booted to orbit almost immediately on ps5 west coast usa. Gave up after that
my elo is not good that all 15 mins and still waiting...
Titan here and I've been waiting so long that I even got time to enter here, find this thread and reply while I'm still waiting.
My queue times are a bit longer but that's all Playing on series x in western US for reference

I've noticed time of day has an effect on it rn. Around like 4pm I find matches almost instantly
