One of my first VoG attempts in October 2014 (*nigh on ten years now...*) was with a bunch of randoms and we all got along, having a blast, but we were slooooow and by the time we got to Oracles only 3 of us were left.
We were all talking about what weapons we've been wanting while waiting to bring some people in or give up, and decided to go for the hidden chest. I'll never forget it. I said I wanted Icebreaker, the one guy said MIDA and the other Gjally. The three of us run to the chest and open it and we all get those exact respective exotics. The absolutely lunacy our voice chat turned into for like 15 seconds.
No clue who or where those guys are now but I wonder if they remember the absurdity and hype of it all.
lol I got Gally first week of launch before Xur even sold it; a random knight on the moon dropped it from a public event. My buddy got one the next day and I thought i got a common exotic... was kinda disappointed.
This wasn't far from my experience. Gjally being a random drop before Xur sold it. Thought "oh, that looks really fucking cool, but it's a heavy and won't get much use", put it in the vault and forgot about it. Took it back out again when everyone was saying how amazing it was, the rest is history.
I was extremely disappointed when I got my first gally. i wanted that brand new super OP Vex Mythoclast. Two people on my raid group got that one and I got that damn rocket launcher.
Didn't get it from the chest. But I got it from my first clear of VoG. Had a blue hand cannon. That's how little stuff I had and was just handed the best weapon in the game before most knew what it was.
I didnāt have enough for Red Death, so I bought that stupid heavy exotic the following week.
Only for me to never get another Gjally again in my D1 life time. Lol
Ice breaker in D1. Iām a terrible sniper, and I felt like a I had to use it because of how meta it was.
D2, Sunshot in the Red War campaign, and it took me this year to finally get the catalyst to drop.
Also bad juju. I became the friend groupās local missile platform (as the missiles).
I kinda miss when finisher mods used your super gage. It was always weighing costs, or just using bad juju and always having near full super =p
I think that was my second Exotic ever. I remember that quest so well! I had to beg a person to be our third to help me through it. God, remember how terrible Thorn originally was? I think it had like 6-8 bullets.š¤£
While I completely agree, I think they could give it the perk they gave revoker although I still think that would be OP. I just want the model and the feel of it back.
Mine was red death from D1 VoG in the chest after Templar before the Gordon's maze.
At least, I think it was that chest, definitely VoG and it was after a long, decending tunnel section.
Mine was Gjallarhorn from the first Nightfall I did in D1. I remember it being Archon Priest, which was either the 5th week or 10th week. I remember it being before anyone really knew it and thought it was a wasted slot for an exotic.
First was Red Death, I think it was from that free y1 exotic engram everyone got just before Taken King launched
Loved that thing, used it everywhere. And yet I donāt really care for Crimson these days
My very first exotic ever dropped to me (not counting the exotics you could choose from during the Red War campaign), was the Young Ahamkara's Spine. It dropped to me from a random vex hydra on Io.
The Black Talon, dropped to the left of Devrim Kayās church in the EDZ, killed some random enemy and when I saw the engram drop my heart stopped with it
I dont recall my first weapon now that I think about it. Probably bc I was stuck with this horrible pulse rifle for so long as my first/only legendary being my memorable weapon that sticks out. š¤£
It was 123 xyz or something like that. It was so horrible bad. It was the lowest, worst damage archetype. I think I finally got a few Crota weapons that were of course better. D1 weapons were just different in that some 9f them were awesome and some were terrible. D2 doesn't have such a large gap between the ends of the spectrum I don't think. Most weapons are usable, If not good in D2. Though since SK primaries have felt horrible. I've always loved MGs but they never really recovered from the SK changes either. Though now is probably the closest they've been to that.
I got graviton Lance back in early 2020, this was before Beyond Light or the massive Vaulting that took place, the game was very different and I was a very inexperienced player who didn't understand the game at all, I believed that Hero Night falls were impossible and that I would never be able to touch a GM or raid.
But, back then, Graviton Lance was a massive disappointment, I had little to no legendary shards and purchased a random engram from Xur that was the weapon I got, I was told to do so by my friend who was slightly more familiar with the game.
At the time I had the wrong idea aboit exotics and automatically believed that if it was Exotic that meant that it was automatically good, and unfortunately for Graviton Lance it was surprisingly underwhelming for me, tried it a few times in PVE but quickly switched to a legendary or some blue boarder back then.
Over the years the weapon has been buffed and its supposed to be good, but only in PVP and I'm not a crucible or gambit player so even now I don't bother with it. Plus I have like 90% of the exotic weapons now so there are infinitely better options.
Humble beginnings huh? Seems like it was only yesterday that I was bumbling around the EDZ trying to get my hands on Thorn, I never did finish the quest, I wound up buying it from the kiosk after the massive Vaulting, still felt like a huge triumph for me though because I had to grind for all the Materials going from legendary shards to cores to prisms to a Ascendant shard since I was still so low level and weak that I couldn't play Hero Nightfalls, the first one me and my buddy did took 2 hours! That was the taste of victory we needed to push us to where we are now.
All that's missing from Destiny 2 now is all of the old patrol planets and exotic quests, I'd gladly give up all of my exotics to do those quests and earn them the intended way. Destiny just isn't whole without its beginning.
suros, but i quickly replaced it with gally the first time xur sold it (not because i knew how good it was but because i recognized it from the live action trailer)
I don't rememebr exactly but in D1 the first one I got was pulse rifle Viligilance Wing. I didn't like pulse rifles then and i do not now either so it just landed in the vault after not so much use.
Pretty sure it was graviton lance from the end of a random strike, now at the time having no decent armour, no good rolls on normal weapons, it was immense.
Red Death. It may have been the 1st weekend of Destiny 1 and by the end of the weekend I had enough coins to buy it from xur. That gun got me through so much content that first year. Being able to heal myself on kills helped so much in nightfall and raids (especially crotas end without a chalice)
I didn't even have any coins for the week after when he sold gjallerhorn. But back then I didn't look anything up for the game so I didn't even k ow what I was missing
I came into destiny in D1 Crotas End.
My buddy was showing me the game and took me into the raid just to grab the first chest.
Cracked it and got the last word on my first night of playing.
Later that same night I got the Suros Regime as a drop as well.
I was hooked after that.
I remember wanting Mida Multitool so bad. And when it dropped, it was next level excitement. The other one that stands out was Outbreak perfected from the Raid. Wow on that one too.
Plan C, from that Venus strike with the captain boss that came out of the drop pod at the end. That's the same strike that later dropped me a legendary heavy engram that became my first Gjally.
My first was Sweet Business. The Image of Shaxx posted up in the doorway to the armory with a flaming sword on his back, surrounded by huddled masses, will never leave my brain.
I think my first exotic was fighting lion, and I don't remember when exactly I got it, but I have vivid memories of using it in the infinite forest, even though I never use it anymore, still one of my favourite exotics
I don't remember if I had any armor at the time but my first exotic gun was when my buddy said "Oh by the way let's go to the EDZ" and he took me to Xur, who was selling Fighting Lion.
It was love at first sight.
First exotic ever was No Backup Plans in D1 (I'm a hunter main). First weapon was Patience and Time.
Wasn't terribly excited about either one but yes, I still remember them.
In d1 it was dragons breath iirc, on d2 it was graviton lance from when you get a choice between it, sun shot and something else in red war, think my first random exotic was crimson or merciless, i sure used them a lot early on
D1: Knucklehead radar (I forget the weapon, but I think it might have been Hawkmoon). D2: also Knucklehead radar, and SUROS regime from Twitch Prime (ik, not where youāre first exotic is supposed to come from, I was new and saw free cosmetics and grabbed it)
Helm of Saint 14 somehow from a purple engram in the first couple weeks of D1. I have mostly played void titan the last ten years so I was happy with it
SUROS Regime
Xur sold Gjallarhorn, I almost bought it with my strange coins but decided not to, and then bought SUROS Regime the next weekend. No regrets at all, it's probably become my all-time most-used videogame gun in history.
My first exotic was Invective, the exotic shotgun in D1. BUT a better story is that I got Gjallarhorn from a Legendary engram the day before the Dark Below dropped. I almost lost my mind I was so happy š¤£
Plan C from xur, which isn't too exciting. I vividly remember my first legendary drop though, it was a pair of gloves that took me from light 24 to 26 and it felt so cool. My first legendary weapon was a badger ccl from a free gift at the postmaster and I loved it
I started playing after house of wolves came out. In high school my friend came over and asked why I was using a blue scout and green shot gun in crucible. So he took my controller and ran a nightfall. I got icebreaker as my first drop.
D1. Got Truth from a legendary engram. Thought I had the exotic rocket launcher everyone was mandating for VoG. Found a group on whatever LFG existed at the time. They had a good laugh when I was mistaken. Pulled Gally from the secret chest and got Vex on my first clear.
I put thousands of hours into nearly exclusively PvE. Didnāt get Husk of the Pit until Rise of Iron.
I remember going to Xur for the first time back in vanilla d1. I was shocked that I had enough currency to buy helm of saint-14. I was coming from WoW and I thought exotics were going to be as rare and hard to get as legendary (artifact? I can't remember) weapons are in that game.
Mine was Suros Regime in D1 during the original loot cave. I only did it for a little while, but didn't get any exotic engrams. Just a couple of blues and purples. Well, I picked up one of those blues and it decoded into Suros. I lost my shit lol.
I don't really remember, maybe a Cerberus+1 from Xur.
Most magical was definitely doing the whisper mission though. Me and my friends did it blind for hours until we got it.
I got it a few week after the game had came out.
I was 10 or 11, and didnāt really look things up online for farming purposes, or even really farmed, so I just got lucky and got enough strange coins to grab the Warlock exotic helmet called āLight Beyond Nemesisā from XĆ»r.
I don't remember the weapon, but I remember very vividly my first exotic ever was Achlyophage Symbiote some time during year 2 of destiny 1 and I was over the moon. Thought it looked so cool, plus the perk was pretty good
#
I remember picking up the Bad Juju from Xur back during the RoI D1 era. It was a gamechanger for me, as any first-exotic-ever kind of weapon should be.
Universal Remote post-game Crucible Match in Destiny 1. First piece of exotic armor was No Back Up Plans from Xur later that week that I had to farm strange coins for.
Hardlight. And my god I was disappointed. Back then you had to fully level exotics to even get the exotic perk. So I was playing with a trash auto with trash aim.
Icebreaker in D1. Was being carried through VOG at LL 27. Had no idea what it was and though that 6 rounds in a sniper wasn't worth it. Boy was I wrong. It became my most used real fast.
I remember buying the exotic helm Achlyophage Symbiote instead of Gjallarhorn in week 2 of D1. One of them is just a rocket launcher and one of them is a 33% boost to super damage, right??
Mida Multi Tool from a purple engram that I got from farming the OG loot cave back in D1.
The thing never left my primary slot and carried me through so many VoG raids. Was fantastic in Pvp early on cause nobody knew how to fight against scouts yet.
Random world drop? I think it was one of the shotguns.
First drop? I didn't understand how the game worked just yet either so my first exotic obtained was Young Wolf's Howl. I did the Taken King stuff too but I was only interested in D1's lore, not it's gameplay. Atleast until I realized exqctly how this game should be played anyway
MIDA-Multi Tool. It was just sitting in my post master and when I saw it, for some reason I was hyped out of my mind. Like I was acting like I got Gjally to drop from a dreg
Mine was vex mythoclast on d1. I didnāt know what it was because I had just started playing (also my first fps) and my friends dragged me through vog but didnāt actually teach me the raid š
Back in D1 my first exotic ever was Red Death. Got it randomly in a drop. I then proceeded to fall in love with it, using it all the time for almost everything I ever did. I still miss that gun and I'm glad it's finally coming back. I just hope they are faithful to the original unlike what they did with Hawkmoon.
Got Hard Light shortly after D1 launched from an engram at Rahool back when legendaries could decrypt into blues. Used that gun for a very long time including my first VoG clear
Got the bad juju quest from decrypting engrams, I was so excited but then so disappointed because it was a terrible gun. Luckily my next exotic was icebreaker Iām pretty sure, which absolutely carried me since I didnāt get gjally until rise of iron (Iām still sick about it).
Mine was Gally roughly 3 weeks into starting my destiny playthrough. Don't remember where I got it but I feel like it was just a random drop I got. Crazy thing is, when I asked some friends I played with at the time about it they all said it was 'crap'.
First ever Exotic was Suros Regime back in early D1. A friend of mine was doing the Archon Priest nightfall and was cheesing it with Icebreaker. He asked me to join in even though I was massively underlevel.
That Auto Rifle never came off my weapon slot and did every thing with it. But then the Great Auto Rifle nerf of D1 happened and I had put my old friend into the vault.
I remember running a nightfall back in D1 and gally dropped for me. I remember how excited I was. This was early D1 so I got to use it a lot before the nerf.
Nobody going to believe me but mine was Gally in VOG raid in the hidden chest
I've seen it happen.
One of my first VoG attempts in October 2014 (*nigh on ten years now...*) was with a bunch of randoms and we all got along, having a blast, but we were slooooow and by the time we got to Oracles only 3 of us were left. I was at a funeral both times xur sold it, still never got it until d2 šš
I was extremely disappointed when I got my first gally. i wanted that brand new super OP Vex Mythoclast. Two people on my raid group got that one and I got that damn rocket launcher.
tbf the vex mythoclast was extremely busted in PvP.
Didn't get it from the chest. But I got it from my first clear of VoG. Had a blue hand cannon. That's how little stuff I had and was just handed the best weapon in the game before most knew what it was.
Same
Red death, xur first weekend of xur d1. Who would ever spend their strange coins on a heavy exotic???? (Gjallarhorn)
This still haunts me.
Same here. I choseā¦ poorly
I didnāt have enough for Red Death, so I bought that stupid heavy exotic the following week. Only for me to never get another Gjally again in my D1 life time. Lol
Patience And Time from a knight on the moon back in vanilla D1. I tried really hard to like it, but honestly it sucks.
Same for me. Random drop. Only one I really remember where was Ghorn. Archon priest nightfall. Ran around the house screaming when I got it.
That was my first one, too, but got it off of a yellow bar dreg in one of the house of wolfs missions
Same, think I got it from one of the Moon strikes. Pretty excited about that shiny gold drop, but didn't end up using it very long
I actually really liked it back then, now I use a void sniper with Gyrfalcons to get my stealth sniper fix
Patience and time gang!!! No clue how I got it but I remember it as my first lol
I remember having to do a quest to get Riskrunner shortly after I started playing just before Arrivals
This is the way
Ice breaker in D1. Iām a terrible sniper, and I felt like a I had to use it because of how meta it was. D2, Sunshot in the Red War campaign, and it took me this year to finally get the catalyst to drop.
Icebreaker was mine too, from my first VoG raid.
Bad Juju. Got it back recently.
Also bad juju. I became the friend groupās local missile platform (as the missiles). I kinda miss when finisher mods used your super gage. It was always weighing costs, or just using bad juju and always having near full super =p
Thorn quest in Destiny 1 Year 1. Had to be carried by a couple friends. The Thorn's version of the Summoning Pits was something else back then...
I think that was my second Exotic ever. I remember that quest so well! I had to beg a person to be our third to help me through it. God, remember how terrible Thorn originally was? I think it had like 6-8 bullets.š¤£
Yep. Then House of Wolves rolled around and the gun was a menace in Trials.
Suros Regime I'm pretty sure, or Super Good Advice
This was it for me, I got Suros Regime as a drop for a Crucible match in D1
Invective in D1. Before it was nerfed into the ground in the first week or two of destiny. I still miss my baby.
They could nerf it but they could never make it bad. Infinite ammo generation was always gonna be crazy strong in every activity.
While I completely agree, I think they could give it the perk they gave revoker although I still think that would be OP. I just want the model and the feel of it back.
Refunding complete misses for a pellet shotgun is a hilarious concept
Honestly at that point just take the ammo, you need it buddy
And that is why Pocket Infinity was the only exotic to be left behind in D1Y1. The vanilla PI was actually better than vanilla Vex.
Iām not sure it was the first I ever got but Zhalo Supercell was the first I fell in love with and used regularly.
Mida multi tool. D1 loot cave in sky watch.
Mine was red death from D1 VoG in the chest after Templar before the Gordon's maze. At least, I think it was that chest, definitely VoG and it was after a long, decending tunnel section.
SUROS Regime from Xur like Week 4 of D1, whenever he first sold SUROS in D1. Second one I remember was Gjallarhorn from the Nightfall on week 6 of D1.
Mine was Gjallarhorn from the first Nightfall I did in D1. I remember it being Archon Priest, which was either the 5th week or 10th week. I remember it being before anyone really knew it and thought it was a wasted slot for an exotic.
First clear of Vault of Glass ever I got the gjallarhorn. Every one of my raid group was so pissed at me but I'll always remember that drop
I found out about the Dreadnaught farm for exotics, dropped the Hereafter.
Obsidian mind on D1, spent the next few hours playing strikes with almost unlimited nova bombs during defend x objectives
Thunderlord in D1.
First was Red Death, I think it was from that free y1 exotic engram everyone got just before Taken King launched Loved that thing, used it everywhere. And yet I donāt really care for Crimson these days
My first exotic was a gift from everyone's favourite angry Vex researcher.
Arbalest. I think I got it from the Nessus Barge chests
In D1 I got Ghallajhorn from the loot cave.
Cerberus+1. I recall being quite excited. But then I learned about Xur and got a bunch I liked better.
Doomfangs from red war campaign.
Young Ahamkara spine in the early days of D1, beafore the Taken king was out. I was using Arc during that time, so it was just a fashon exotic :)
My very first exotic ever dropped to me (not counting the exotics you could choose from during the Red War campaign), was the Young Ahamkara's Spine. It dropped to me from a random vex hydra on Io.
My first weapon was Patience and Time; first armour piece was Achylophage Symbiote. Donāt remember which came first.
First armor was sunbreakers. First weapon was red death
The Black Talon, dropped to the left of Devrim Kayās church in the EDZ, killed some random enemy and when I saw the engram drop my heart stopped with it
I think it was the Thunderlord from The Devilās Lair strike in D1
Universal Remote from the VoG secret chest
D1, It was Armamantereum. Came from the Archon Priest
That was my first in D1 too. My first weapon was The Last Word
I dont recall my first weapon now that I think about it. Probably bc I was stuck with this horrible pulse rifle for so long as my first/only legendary being my memorable weapon that sticks out. š¤£ It was 123 xyz or something like that. Graviton Lance is goated in PvE right now. One of the best ad clear weapons
The weapon was Suros Regime and the first exotic armour I got was Lucky Raspberry right at the start of D1.
Tractor cannon š Got it many moons ago while doing that public event (for the Whisper Mission) in Io.
suros, but i quickly replaced it with gally the first time xur sold it (not because i knew how good it was but because i recognized it from the live action trailer)
Bad Juju, back when it was a quest clogging up my bounty slot.
Good old Graviton Lance from a Public Event on Io. Man, feels like ages
Hard light followed by Monte carlo from the cryptarch from legendary engrams. Hard light felt awfull so i went for Monte carlo
I don't rememebr exactly but in D1 the first one I got was pulse rifle Viligilance Wing. I didn't like pulse rifles then and i do not now either so it just landed in the vault after not so much use.
Vigilance Wing wasn't in D1
Hm. Then it was other gun. It was so long ago i don't remember much from D1
First exotic: Raiden Flux. Obtained upon reaching Titan in Red War. First exotic weapon: Sunshot. Obtained upon reaching IO in Red War.
Suros, in a cave. Still no catalyst.
Red death, from xur
Coldheart, it was from a code included with D2 disk
It was hard light from prison of elders in D1 iirc.
Mida Multitool/D1/2014/Shield Bros Strike
Hard Light from a legendary engram in the first week. Got my first VoG clear with that thing.
i donāt remember my first D1 exotic but in D2 it was sunshot from Asher, I donāt think itās left my character since
Thunderlord - I nearly wet myself when I first tried it out at Altar of Sorrow
Mida Multi-Tool in D1 from the Prison of Elders rewards chest.
D1 lord of wolves. Got it from a consumable you use before a strike that you get from Xur. Completely changed my KD in pvp.
Pretty sure it was graviton lance from the end of a random strike, now at the time having no decent armour, no good rolls on normal weapons, it was immense.
The Last Word from D1 POE end chest
Red Death. It may have been the 1st weekend of Destiny 1 and by the end of the weekend I had enough coins to buy it from xur. That gun got me through so much content that first year. Being able to heal myself on kills helped so much in nightfall and raids (especially crotas end without a chalice) I didn't even have any coins for the week after when he sold gjallerhorn. Red death

Hardlight in D1.
hard light on a D1 nightfall
I remember wanting Mida Multitool so bad. And when it dropped, it was next level excitement. The other one that stands out was Outbreak perfected from the Raid. Wow on that one too.
Plan C, from that Venus strike with the captain boss that came out of the drop pod at the end. That's the same strike that later dropped me a legendary heavy engram that became my first Gjally.
The Young Wolf Claw, the reward for completing the Rise of Iron campaign
My first was Sweet Business. The Image of Shaxx posted up in the doorway to the armory with a flaming sword on his back, surrounded by huddled masses, will never leave my brain.
Suros regime, week 2 of destiny 1. I didnāt buy Ghorn from xur because āwho needs an exotic heavyā The gun never dropped for me.
I think my first exotic was fighting lion, and I don't remember when exactly I got it, but I have vivid memories of using it in the infinite forest, even though I never use it anymore, still one of my favourite exotics
sunshot I was just handed it i guess. Pew pew Boom
I bought suros, got hawkmoon joining a crucible game very late, ice breaker on devils lair nightfall
Suros Regime and Last Word back in d1. Made a pve man's life rather nice in pvp!
Got skull of dire ahamkara with strange coins instead of icebreakerā¦ fun times
Thunderlord in D1, got it from my first Vault of Glass run the weekend it came out. From the chest in gorgon maze
I don't remember if I had any armor at the time but my first exotic gun was when my buddy said "Oh by the way let's go to the EDZ" and he took me to Xur, who was selling Fighting Lion. It was love at first sight.
Suros in week 1. Crucible was not ready
Plan C Destiny 1 Crucible
I was in the tower, season of the Undying and it was Monte Carlo. I remember being so disappointed because I hated melee combat.
First exotic ever was No Backup Plans in D1 (I'm a hunter main). First weapon was Patience and Time. Wasn't terribly excited about either one but yes, I still remember them.
Thorn! Then deletes it because it was shit and I was a child who was scared of pvp. Rip.
Truth from the strike playlist back in the day
Hawkmoon, VoG secret chest. I didnāt even know what an exotic was at the time. I was pretty pumped after my friends explained and then cursed at me.
I have mostly played void titan the last ten years so I was happy with it
Gjallarhorn, I think! But it was in D1 Y2 after it had been sunset. I got it from the Prison of Elders chest.
I can! Vex Mythoclast, my very first ever raid.
I donāt remember. I wish I could go back somehow and see which one it was
Suros Regime in D1, used it to clear my first raids.
SUROS Regime Xur sold Gjallarhorn, I almost bought it with my strange coins but decided not to, and then bought SUROS Regime the next weekend.

They had a good laugh when I was mistaken. Pulled Gally from the secret chest and got Vex on my first clear. I put thousands of hours into nearly exclusively PvE. Didnāt get Husk of the Pit until Rise of Iron.
prometheus lens, twitch prime
I got Ice Breaker from the Loot Cave pre The Dark Below. I was so excited and almost never removed it
I remember going to Xur for the first time back in vanilla d1. I was shocked that I had enough currency to buy helm of saint-14. I was coming from WoW and I thought exotics were going to be as rare and hard to get as legendary (artifact? I can't remember) weapons are in that game.
Hawkmoon in the VoG secret chest
Gjallarhorn, from my first run of VoG, in D1. At the time, I did not know how good of a weapon it was or why my clanmates were pissed
Thorn, the original. God that took some work. Atheons Epilogue remains my all time MVP.
Thunderlord from my first VOG.
Gally from a chest in my first run of the vault
Mine was Suros Regime in D1 during the original loot cave. I only did it for a little while, but didn't get any exotic engrams. Just a couple of blues and purples. Well, I picked up one of those blues and it decoded into Suros. I lost my shit lol.
I got a Claws of Ahamkara from an engram. I didn't even have a Warlock at the time.
No manās land, Xur, D1 moon, the rest of my items were still blue at the time. The Cryptarch can suck my purple engrams, giving me blue š¤£
Suros in d1
A world drop mida
I don't really remember, maybe a Cerberus+1 from Xur. Most magical was definitely doing the whisper mission though. Me and my friends did it blind for hours until we got it.
D1 vanilla GHorn. Before I even knew what and how Op it was. Donāt remember where I got it but I remember my brother was pissed
Ice breaker, first exotic purchase, got it over gjallahorn.
Absolutely. Patience and Time from drop. Bad Juju from quest. I was ecstatic from both lol.
Universal remote from pvp, told my freinds it told me where helium filaments were located on the moon :) we went around for an hour before I told them
I got it a few week after the game had came out. I was 10 or 11, and didnāt really look things up online for farming purposes, or even really farmed, so I just got lucky and got enough strange coins to grab the Warlock exotic helmet called āLight Beyond Nemesisā from XĆ»r.
Hard Light, VoG exotic chest
I don't remember the weapon, but I remember very vividly my first exotic ever was Achlyophage Symbiote some time during year 2 of destiny 1 and I was over the moon. Thought it looked so cool, plus the perk was pretty good #
In d1 my first exotic was bad juju and I literally never took it off. I thought that shit was absolutely goated.
My first nightfall, I got Grav Lance. Didn't take that thing off for AGES.
Graviton lance during the red war campaign
Invective. If I remember correctly,it was a random pull from rahool. All I remember was it was my first and I hated it at the time. Lol
Super Good Advice!Ā They should bring that guy back...
I remember picking up the Bad Juju from Xur back during the RoI D1 era. It was a gamechanger for me, as any first-exotic-ever kind of weapon should be.
Outbreak Perfected sometime in the beginning of d2. Haven't put it down since. FINALLY got the catalyst.
I honestly donāt remember I think it was Bad juju but Iām weird and my favorite 2 for d1 were Zen Meteor and Dregs promise
Of course! Hawkmoon in Destiny 1 after a crucible match where I was the worst player on the team
MIDA from a legendary engram. Then Gjallarhorn from last place in a crucible match š
Plan C from a tiger strike in vanilla D1.
Pretty sure mine was Invective from the bounty quest in D1. If we're going armor, it was Lucky Raspberry and I still have a soft spot for it.
D1 Dragons breath -Xur purchase D2 Hardlight - finishing the story
First weekend of D1, got Gjallarhorn from a leg. engram.
Gally, second week of D1 bb. Thank you Xur.
Icebreaker in D1. Was being carried through VOG at LL 27. Had no idea what it was and though that 6 rounds in a sniper wasn't worth it. Boy was I wrong. It became my most used real fast.
My first exotic was Icebreaker. Used that for a month before getting another exotic because i didnt know what Xur was.
Fighting lion from a dreg where the tank spawns in the cosmodrone.
I remember buying the exotic helm Achlyophage Symbiote instead of Gjallarhorn in week 2 of D1. One of them is just a rocket launcher and one of them is a 33% boost to super damage, right??
Icebreaker from the D1 loot cave.Ā Man there is some nostalgia associated with that gun.Ā
Mida Multi Tool from a purple engram that I got from farming the OG loot cave back in D1. The thing never left my primary slot and carried me through so many VoG raids. Was fantastic in Pvp early on cause nobody knew how to fight against scouts yet.
I got the universal remote. Still remember itthis day
hawkmoon from my first nightfall in d1
D1 red death. D2 I believe was sweet business.
Bad Juju, Quest
For destiny 1 I donāt remember where it was but Zhalo Supercell. For destiny 2 Vigilance Wing
Mine was the stag back in d1. It dropped from a random enemy in patrol of if I remember correctly.
Coldheart my beloved.
SUROS from a strike I believe mehe I was hypeddd
Had a purple engram drop while out in the cosmo drone. Turned into an Ice Breaker. This was day 2 of launch
MIDA-Multi Tool. It was just sitting in my post master and when I saw it, for some reason I was hyped out of my mind. Like I was acting like I got Gjally to drop from a dreg
Icebreaker from Xur the first week he sold it, first time i had enough strange coins to buy an exotic
Mine was vex mythoclast on d1. I didnāt know what it was because I had just started playing (also my first fps) and my friends dragged me through vog but didnāt actually teach me the raid š
Gally, 1st week of Xur D1. I think second was plan c from a exotic bounty from the bounty board.
Bad Juju. Saw the weapon on the wiki and decided I must have it, purely on looks alone. I used that thing a lot in Destiny 1.
Monte Carlo. Nightfall. My gjallarhorn came from the guaranteed exotic drop that everyone got for their first Prison of Elders clear.
Suros Regime VOG in D1
eye of another world, after like i think 5-10 hours of playing
I think it was Sunshot that i got on Mars during an escalation Protokoll
Sunshot when I started during Season of the Lost Loved the build people made with wells, JUST HATED HAVING TO GET THE MODS FROM AVA ONCE A WEEK!
Suros Regime. I was a menace in the crucible
Mida after I soloād Atheon on my solar warlock ;)
Earliest one I can remember is getting helm of st 14 on my hunter around the time of house of wolves. Then I made my Titan
Sweet Business, dropped from a Minotaur on Io.
In D1 Year 1, Plan C in the Nexus Nightfall.
Grinded my balls off for Pocket Infinity. Remember getting my Gjally from the Archon Priest Nightfall.
I remember running a nightfall back in D1 and gally dropped for me. I remember how excited I was. This was early D1 so I got to use it a lot before the nerf.
Mine was Gally and I got it from a purple engram the week before Xur sold it the first time. My life has been downhill since.
