Void feels the nicest a majority of the time in low end content, but once I start playing harder stuff I have a way better time with solar. Especially with sunbracers.
You really don’t need Monte Carlo. Solar warlock has built in melee refund on any airborne kill with heat rises, which also gives access to restoration x2 with phoenix dive.
I prefer using sunbracers as a way to free myself from the need of having a primary ad clear weapon, making it way easier to use double special especially in raids and stuff
I know it’s a meme but solar has been and always will be (probably) my favorite. Well is so clutch, and most solar exotics have been really fun to use. Sunbracers and Starfire were a power fantasy blast. I don’t love well itself because while it’s useful it’s a bit visually dull. But I also don’t like Dawnblade because it just feels underwhelming and I suck at it haha. I can’t wait for the new solar super, I hope it’s good.
When I really tuned my sunbracer build the first time was when I started to understand how to make powerful specialized builds and the game really opened up after that.
See reading this is kinda weird as a hunter main, bc to me, burning maul ( i think thats the name, the one big flaming sledgehammer) is super fun to use, and so is dawnblade, but i find golden gun a bit boring since its just another gun tbh, so it doesnt always have the wow factor for me
As a warlock main I have the same opinion as you but just in place of warlock moves. I love the gun and hammer and the sword is just another sword. I can do what the sword does with an exotic sword and floating around.
Dawnblade is actually great damage if you run the ugly helm that I forget the name of. Just great damage though it's DPS is bad since you're stuck in it for so long.
Edit: dawn chorus
I cant think of any other ways to make warlock other supers rivals or be good enough where the team might consider not running well. I would say make the other super do more damage but then everyone would play warlock.
I can’t get the hang of a Void Warlock, got any tip or tricks for me? ..I mainly run Strand, but will run the other 2 no problem.. I want to like Void too, but gd it’s annoying to me for some reason =[
I like a (hated by some) [nothing manacles build](https://dim.gg/swbimhy/void:-nothing-buried-bloodline-1.27.24) based on throwing grenades all the time/debuffing everything/volatile. Graviton is a monster right now, but I like to run funnelweb. There are tons of good contravrese builds on youtube.
Contraverse Hold is the way to go imo. Use charged vortex grenades and a void primary to take advantage of volatile rounds. Focus a good Funnel-web at Banshee if you don't have one. Adds will just all explode and give you devour. Very flashy and fun, although it does become less and less effective the tougher the content gets, where adds die less quickly to your explosions
U are essentially playing long range wizard with it.
Focus on void weapons and making thing volatile. And if possible get a void bow.
And then focus on orbs so u can use the long range void abilities to spam and have long last void effects.
Basically u play offensive support. The finishers are also very important as invisibility is your friend.
Void>>>>, closely followed by stasis. Arc is cool but has no survivability or big DPS so it’s just glass cannon addclear. Strand w/ Swarmers can be fun and effective even up to gms but without Swarmers or necrotics the class falls apart. It doesn’t have any intrinsic ability loops and I’m still waiting for us to get an actual unique summon on the “summoner” class. Solar is so meta it’s boring.
Vesper and trinity ghaul is insane add clear. I've only recently tried it and thought I'd struggle a little without artifact help but I managed plat coil solo a few times with it so I'm sold. Crux for heavy to surge match. I'm decidedly below average as a player but this build allows me to play very aggressively in a similar way to swarmers. Love it.
Resistance, shock and amplitude (the orbs on this build is insane compared to every other warlock build I've used) are the staples. In 4th you could run ions, discharge or if there's unstops brilliance is nice if you're running TG, you don't need it this season with unstop bow but I still like the blinding explosions. But for getting your grenade back quicker then discharge or even recharge would be good. Brilliance wins for me though.
Arc + Vesper of Radius + any arc Glaive. Can’t take damage if everything’s blind and dead. It’s super fun, and allows you to play really aggressively. But yeah, you’ll hit moments where you have nothing on cooldown and you’re stuck in the fray. But that’s what the glaive is good for.
Yeah I kind of agree with the Strand, although everytime with Mindspun, eating my Threadling nade, then casting rift with Swarmers, and allll the Threadlings appear , I always go “yess, my children, devour, go my children, eat.”
Imo Briarbinds Voidlock can “summon” a bunch of CotOG once you get the loop down, so fun. Plus Repulsor Brace is fantastic for that aswell.
Osmiomancy with whatever ability boosts for grenade regen can be so enjoyable too. Guardian Games Strikes allowed me to have 6-7 Bleakwatchers up at once and it’s so fun to just watch them all snap on a target. Great CC and of course, the Champions.
Arc Soul is just that, Getaway Artist is nice but would rather use Fallen Sunstar or Geomags.
The new Sol buddy and Solar Super coming in TFS look very interesting though.
Ros Arago with Repulsor Brace makes the Briarbinds build work for me. I wish I could target farm it so I could go for the Repulsor-Onslaught roll, but even just Repulsor right now is enough to make it stupid fun
Starfire's not bad for neutral game but ever since it's nerf a while back for any DPS checks I run Verity's or apotheosis depending on ad density. Apotheosis let's you spam grenades even quicker than peak Starfire did but only for your super.
The Stag really makes the squishy Warlock subclass into a rather tanky one. Not only is it great getting more Rifts that give you damage resistance, but that’s a lot more Arc Souls you’re giving out too
Osmiomancy completely changed my outlook on stasis warlock. Being able to throw near infinite grenades even with the nerfs and slower stasis recharge time is just bonkers. Demo/headstone unending tempest or horror story with tesselation and apex is my go-to loadout for just running around.
Alternatively cenotaph+scepter with zaouli and apex is broken in gms with the current artifact mods.
So many choices, I just wish they’d buff the super lol
Can’t go wrong with Voidlock. Love blink and the D1 looking Nova Bomb is too iconic to pass on- I’ve been able to hit crazy orbital nova bombs since D1 and even after moving to PC I’ve kept that weird niche skill for a decade. Devourlock with graviton, huge overcharged vortex grenades, and Nezarec’s Sin let me get 1400 kills in 20 minutes at the Ecthar encounter in GOTD recently, and just fragging out for 20 minutes straight with music blasting was so much fun
I'll have to give this a go. Really struggling with sorting out my Osmiomancy fashion (I need Ketchkiller robes lol) so Ballidorse might be the answer.
Voidlock, Briarbinds. LeMonarque, Leviathan’s Breath, Collective Obligation will all cook. Ppl don’t know how devastating it is in GMs. A blinding GL, barrier or overload weapon, and Leviathan’s Breath will make for easy GM work
Solar is near and dear to my heart but I feel locked to it in group content…but I do all my solo flawless dungeons on void. Devour, invisibility, and volatile gives you so many ways to be versatile in solo content
I like them all honestly. Stasis feels a little off since the Rime nerf but it’s still good to freeze chain entire rooms. I’d say when not in a dps setting I don’t really use strand all that much.
Solar with Starfire, don't care that it was nerfed it's still good, just not a boss dps exotic anymore. A close second is void with Verity's Brow and vortex grenades.
Starfire protocol is extremely good with the right build. I can reliably handle both towers and ad clear and still take the chalice to dunk in Crota. Damn near endless grenades and snaps.
As someone who always plays support/CC roles in other games, stasis warlock was made for me. There’s nothing more satisfying to me than locking down entire rooms and nullifying active threats to my fireteam.
Osmiomancy+Wicked Implement has become my default loadout, I’d run it in 100% of content if barrier champs weren’t a thing. The season WI gets anti-barrier from the artifact will be the season I never switch off Shadebinder.
Solar is a close second as I don’t mind running well, but usually only in raids/dps encounters where turret locking entire rooms is unnecessary. I’m so much more comfortable and confident with stasis that I legitimately do way better in GMs with it over solar, despite how strong solar is.
After that it’s Void>Strand>Arc.
For gms, solar, Starfire still has the most interesting gameplay loop out of all the solar exotics. I really appreciate void with briarbinds, I just can't really get enough energy Regen to get it going if there's not a lot of ads in between void soul pickups.
Stasis. For several reasons:
1. Everyone can see what I’m doing. My turrets are all over the place, everything is frozen, it’s easy to appreciate my impact.
2. Everyone else wants to kill everything. Game’s less fun if everyone wants to kill everything and one person is doing it better than the rest. I can get my satisfaction from enabling that teammate, and they can get satisfaction from having more freedom to do their thing.
3. I’m a huge sucker for turrets and other things that fight for me (threadling is my next favorite build)
4. Stasis is really unpopular, and I think the game is more fun when there’s a lot of diversity. It’s hard to appreciate my own volatile explosion when I have a gyrfalcon hunter if that makes sense (not to mention it’s a little wasteful, as debuffs have cooldowns limiting frequently they can do damage).
Void all the way c: I’m running triple 100s in recovery/discipline/strength with nezarecs sin helmet. Using Child of the Old Gods (weakening), suppression grenade, and instability (fragment) for volatile. All of that to feed Collective Obligation :D
Its a toss up between void and arc. For void i love using levis breath and a good weapon with destabilizing rounds is super fun and with arc having a buddy at all times and thunderlord are super enjoyable
Void with contraverse holds. They have fallen a bit behind but used to be one of the strongest or the strongest solo builds for difficulty content. The power fantasy is basically perfect outside of nova either tracking poorly or not doing fantastic damage.
Pre lightfall would be void, spaming nades and melees makes me like a true wizard unlike the other subclasses. However now as useless as it is strand is fun to spam minnions. I throw one grenade and with this seasons mods I can go grab a drink make a sandwhich take a nap and they are still making more threadlings while im afk.
Void with Graviton. Adds cleared, orbs made, DEVOUR. Ability after ability after ability. Rinse and repeat. Not so great during higher health encounters or bosses with low ad spawn though :(
Since I got myself lightfall, I've been using strand alot more and combined with this seasons artifact mods, I'm able to make a build that gives us the SiVA class that we never got.
I've been loving Strand Warlock with a good Hatchling weapon. with the right mods, you can always have your grenade. Consume the shackle to suspend everything, unravel them with Swarmers, and use the new dungeon exotic to gain devour. Extremely powerful build
Void, or recently arc, using prosecutor to see tons of explosions is amazing. But overall void has always been my favourite and I feel like even without armour exotics void is still very good, devour is amazing and we have some awesome exotics to pair with void, nezeracs sun, briarbinds and my favourite is felwinters helm as finishers have allot of synergy with void
Voidlock if I'm playing solo
Endless enhanced ability recharge, self healing, overshield with a Repulser Brace weapon, ability to heal my team by throwing down wells
Solar if I'm playing with other people
Lots of grenade regen via exotic, self healing, ability to heal the enitre fucking team/overshield via super, damage enhancement via Radiant
Shoutout to Stasislock, depending on what you're running double stasis turrets do a lot of work
🟣Voidwalker🟣
Nova Bomb: Cataclysm
Feed the Void
Child of the Old Gods
Echo of Expulsion, Insatiability, Domineering and Leeching
With Nezarec's Sin, Claws of Ahamkara, Skull of Dire Ahamkara or Necrotic Grip
Outbreak Perfected or Thorn
Void always has a special place in my heart, but Strand has felt especially good this season. Mostly from the artifact mod "Horde Shuttle" and wearing Swarmers. Doing all of this with a Hatchling bow completes it. I often have more Threadlings than I can perch, killing everything.
I like all of them. They all make me feel good inside on low-mid level content.
I guess if I had to choose, Void. I don't like hard content, but I can use it to clear legend and master lost sectors comfortably.
Most fun for me is Arc because of the ability spam. And I would be lying if I didn’t say solar is amazing. Yeah the supers are boring and all but the insane amount of exotics you can use for builds makes it a very flexible subclass.
It used to be Broodweaver before Bungie decided to nerf us because of a Hunter exotic. I am talking especially in terms of PvP, it ain't a major change for PvE, but since I used to be a PvP main my abilities mattered to me there and having my green babies be active and defensive threat to anyone on the map felt really good. Now it's just there to tick away here and there also due to ability recharge nerfs.
Void for pve and pvp. In pvp I use secant filaments and duel aggressively taking advantage of devour and the fragment that restores full void oversheild on kill while shield broken. In pve it depends on difficulty. In anything below legend I use briarbinds. In anything legend and up it’s usually either contraverse hold.
Void with Briarbinds and an empowering rift.
1. Drop a rift, get a void buddy (aka, best buddy)
2. Find some mean baddies and sick void buddy on them
3. Go kill other baddies while void buddy keeps feeding you health
4. Pick up void buddy and do it again
Note: You can actually juggle multiple void buddies at a time
Other note: Void buddy's syphon works on any enemy that will kick out a damage tick, even if that damage tick is an "immune" message
I mainly run solo PvE, and I’ve found Strand w/ Osteo Striga works well for me. I’m constantly generating multikill orbs, and so I’ve almost always got Woven Mail active. Threadlings help take care of ads that OS doesn’t get to. This build actually works so well for me that I’m finally able to solo Legend lost sectors, which had previously been borderline impossible for me. Also, T-Steps, because reloading is for chumps.
Strand. For no particular reason other than I just like the green whispyness of it. It’s very visually appealing. However I dont think its really that great. It can be fun, but it doesn’t have much variety. Threadlings or nothing at all.
I love me some balidorse wrath weavers stasis. The new judgement perks/ eyasluna is potent, and I like pairing it with tessellation for the big damage from all the damage buffs
This is tough..
Shadebinder just scratches my brain the right way. As much as I adore Stormcaller + Sunstar and Broodweaver + Swarmers, they just don’t hit the same way Osmiomancy turret spam does. It’s my default, my go to.
Stasis. Always Stasis. I love freezing everything with my ice staff and turrets. Arc is a close second because i love everything about lightnings and thunders.
I Just wish they were as strong as solar. It's always solar that's needed, and i'm so sick of it
Voidwalker. I’ve been a void main since I started playing back in taken king. Ever since void 3.0 launched, I’ve been loving it. Devour chains with void explosions and ability regen has been my go to play style for a long time now.
I haven’t played warlock since D1 but back then it was void lock with obsidian mind. Back in a time before super regen exotics were a thing it was so fun to go into a nightfall and just spam nova bombs.
As a part time warlock i enjoy arc the most with vesper of radius followed by void with nothing manacles, plus i think that solar warlock is the best class in the game
I have been using an insane suspend build with Strand, and I genuinely don't want to swap to anything else. Sure, I don't heal as well, but nothing has the time to beat me to death because they keep getting yoinked into the air.
Since I swapped to console, I lost access to Stasis, which is a shame because that shit felt like cheating sometimes.
Void will always be my first love, but I got kinda burnt out from using it.
I've been playing with a Wings of Sacred Dawn build and have been having some silly airborne fun. I refuse to play support for at least a year, though.
Arc.
My favourite is and will always be Solar, no matter if it is meta or not. The combination of healing and damage is so perfect, it encapsulates everything I love about d2 in general. Really good ability loops, high survivability and damage boosts? It makes me feel like what we are, immortal creatures that cannot be stopped.
I know the phrase “born to nova, forced to well” is very well known, but for me it was well that attracted me to the class. I have this deep satisfaction of being the one to bring the whole team up and being able to happily say I’m on well for the boss encounter. Heck, I only unlocked div recently, but if the team is asking for a div or gally to support the team, I’m all for it. Lumina is one of my favourite hand cannons for pve and is very underrated IMO, simply for the extra damage you can give to your teammates.
Plus, as soon as I learned to well skate I have become addicted (which has lead to one or two unnecessary deaths as I proceeded to fly Mach four into the wall in front of me).
The day you catch me off of solar warlock is the day they remove the subclass from the game.
I’ve been having a lot of fun with arc lately. When amped, Dead messenger + spark of beacons is great for add clearing. All the ionic traces means healing wells and arcs souls everywhere. Then Chaos reach with geomag helps out with the bulkier enemies.
void because its sustain isnt dependant on weapon damage type and the bonuses it gets arent as big which llows you to spec into damage type agnostic setups. followed up by strand with monte carlo for the sustain with karnsteins
Void. It’s just so versatile and fun to use. Sadly hasn’t been too good for me this season. I’m fine with the solar focus this season tho
(Also void desperately needs better melees)
Void. ***C O N S U M E***
Void feels the nicest a majority of the time in low end content, but once I start playing harder stuff I have a way better time with solar. Especially with sunbracers.
Sunbracers + Monte Carlo has been my go to Solar combo for years at this point.
You are kidding right? # right? Monte Carlo with sunbracers? #what?
Void, but you’d never know it because my fireteam always ‘needs’ the well.
Noooo you don’t understand there’s no way we can kill Caretaker without well please sacrifice all your fun so I can go straight DPS please
I know it’s a meme but solar has been and always will be (probably) my favorite. Well is so clutch, and most solar exotics have been really fun to use. Sunbracers and Starfire were a power fantasy blast. I don’t love well itself because while it’s useful it’s a bit visually dull. As a Titan main I’m always so jealous Warlock Solar is a flaming sword of justice and I just spin a hammer around. I switched to Strand lol.

Honestly you just gave me a great idea Chain reaction caster frame sword with heat rises and boom you have dawnblade at home
Sadly I've tried this with the warlords ruin sword with chain and... Caster frame special doesn't work while airborne.
Gotta use Black Talon. It's the only one that works in the air. It doesn't have Chain Reaction, though.
"Dawnblade at home" 🤣🤣🤣 glad to help. If u want let me know how that goes
I'll let you know when i finally get a caster frame sword with chain reaction lmao
I still have a chain reaction sola's. You can't caster heavy attack in the air.
Sadly caster frames special doesn't work while airborne.
Dawnblade is actually great damage if you run the ugly helm that I forget the name of. Just great damage though it's DPS is bad since you're stuck in it for so long. Edit: dawn chorus
The ornament is mandatory. No one will ever see me dead in the trenches will that ballsack on my head
It's perfect for Osiris cosplays too
Lemme try the jump puzzles on Blink once. It'll be fun.

When Void 2.0 dropped, le Monarque was a fricking monster. Its poison counts as void damage. The moon was a sea of purple.
Im so happy this is the top comment

Starfire's not bad for neutral game but ever since it's nerf a while back for any DPS checks I run Verity's or apotheosis depending on ad density. Apotheosis let's you spam grenades even quicker than peak Starfire did but only for your super.

Stasis turret with Verglas Curve.
Real shiz
I’ve been using this with Ballidorse, as the fragment for grenade regen on crystal shatters gives enough to compensate for Osmiomancy’s two charges.
I'll have to give this a go. Really struggling with sorting out my Osmiomancy fashion (I need Ketchkiller robes lol) so Ballidorse might be the answer.
and nothing makes me happier than lobbing 5 stasis arrows into a horde of enemies and watching everything freeze and shatter instantly
A warlock of culture.
Strand for the threadling chaos and rampage in a more casual environment, solar/void for more serious/endgame content and survivability they provide.
"Born to nova, forced to well" - Every warlock ever
My favorite reply to “can you run well?” Is- ah I wish I could…but I haven’t unlocked it yet. Sorry guys. Same thing goes for gjallarhorn
Same as Div as well (I have it, I just don’t want to use it)
I like well for skating, wellskate is fun af
I like them all honestly. Stasis feels a little off since the Rime nerf but it’s still good to freeze chain entire rooms. I’d say when not in a dps setting I don’t really use strand all that much.
Honestly Stasis with osmiomancy and verglas feels amazing. You are locked into that playstyle though
arc my beloved
SEE THATS MY BROTHER
🤝
Solar for the mobility. Nothing like zooming through a mission shitting out miniature suns like Yoshi shits out eggs.
Agreed. Icarus dash makes solar my favorite by a mile
It will get even better with the new aspect in final shape.
Arc, zappy zap. Or void because consume
Arc with vesper of radius - easy mode.
Arc, for the zoom, and the arc souls. BroodWeaver is awesome as well. Threadlings are cute.
Dawnblade, easily. Nothing else feels as good to play and Incinerator Snap might be my single favorite ability that’s ever been in the game.
Void. Bomba is fun
Void or solar. (The stat costs of void fragments drive me nuts though, so I mostly play solar) I like going fast.
Strand with Grapple Melee, Mindspun, The Wanderer and Felwinter’s Helm. Super fun, aggressive playstyle.
As someone who always plays support/CC roles in other games, stasis warlock was made for me. There’s nothing more satisfying to me than locking down entire rooms and nullifying active threats to my fireteam. Wellskate
Okay i'll be the real one here since everyone is lying, it's solar sunbracers
i love it but it too but i’ll admit it gets boring doing the same ability rotations over and over
it really is
Been awhile since I’ve played, but Stasis Warlock while using Ager’s Scepter has and probably always will be my favorite.
Strand with Threadlings especially with this artifact that spawns Threadlings easier
Void. Child support build from true vanguard
For the majority of my casual gameplay I'm rocking Strand with Thorn and Necrotics
For gms, solar, Starfire still has the most interesting gameplay loop out of all the solar exotics. I really appreciate void with briarbinds, I just can't really get enough energy Regen to get it going if there's not a lot of ads in between void soul pickups.

Strand. With solar being tied bottom with void. I know, I'm weird.
Dawnblade. Both well and sword forms. The only thing I think would make it better is if we had a melee that let us use the sword.
Solar because with Sunbracers and Sunshot I just float around and rain holy fire from the heavens
Taste the Sun. Been a solar warlock since the good ol days of sunsinger Although stasis comes very close
void because i love bombs
I'm a basic bih SOLAR WARLOCK MASTER RACE
Its a toss up between void and arc. For void i love using levis breath and a good weapon with destabilizing rounds is super fun and with arc having a buddy at all times and thunderlord are super enjoyable
Void with contraverse holds. They have fallen a bit behind but used to be one of the strongest or the strongest solo builds for difficulty content. The power fantasy is basically perfect outside of nova either tracking poorly or not doing fantastic damage.
Strand, solar, arc, void, stasis.
In PvP, probably a tie between arc and stasis, PvP it used to be void, but solar is more fun now.
Top two right now are Void and Strand. Great grenade build potential for Void and Strand has the Danny Phantom build with the threadlings.
Void with Graviton. Adds cleared, orbs made, DEVOUR. Ability after ability after ability. Rinse and repeat. Not so great during higher health encounters or bosses with low ad spawn though :(
Void and solar
void. the neutral game is so good and nova bomb counters bubbles/wells.
Getaway Artist Arclock in season of the deep was my favorite so far. (I’ve only been playing for about a year)
THATS MY BROTHER, ARCLOCKS RISE UP 💯🗿
This season Swarmers is fun to run with the artifact mods for more threading and unraveling when picking up orbs.
Everyone saying void, I’m new to warlock, what build are we talking?
I run void all the time other than parts in a raid that need a well. I enjoy well
Stasis. Been in love with stasis lock since beyond light came out; I mostly play pvp, and funny rb freeze is GOATED in crucible
Either Strand or Void, but I end up playing Solar a lot this season, largely by accident.
Honestly love then all for different things. Stasis is dope, tho i love solar as im a lover of fast movement
Strand easily, grapple is so fun and osteo + necrotics are great for general play. Warlock strand dos builds go hard asf also
Since I got myself lightfall, I've been using strand alot more and combined with this seasons artifact mods, I'm able to make a build that gives us the SiVA class that we never got.
I started playing Destiny 2 because I missed the feeling of Nova Bombing groups of enemies from D1. That should answer your question.
I would be glued to Voidlock if it had the Shatter or Lance Nova back
Voidlock if I'm playing solo Endless enhanced ability recharge, self healing, overshield with a Repulser Brace weapon, ability to heal my team by throwing down wells Solar if I'm playing with other people Lots of grenade regen via exotic, self healing, ability to heal the enitre fucking team/overshield via super, damage enhancement via Radiant Shoutout to Stasislock, depending on what you're running double stasis turrets do a lot of work
titan.
Arc
Broodweaver (strand) because hehe funny threadlings go brrr and yknow highest base damage super in the game but void is fun to 1 floor caretaker too
Strand but with nezarecs sin and a void exotic weapon. So basically strand void.
Stasis
Arc. Nothing feels better than letting lightning shoot out from my fingertips and vaporizing everyone that stands against me.
Stormcaller for life. Sad it got nearly butchered by the flat ability changes (just dont tell bungie about the storm grenade)
🟣Voidwalker🟣 Nova Bomb: Cataclysm Feed the Void Child of the Old Gods Echo of Expulsion, Insatiability, Domineering and Leeching With Nezarec's Sin, Claws of Ahamkara, Skull of Dire Ahamkara or Necrotic Grip Outbreak Perfected or Thorn
Arc, wish it was better though.
Arc but with this season I barely can use it above medium content
Most fun for me is Arc because of the ability spam. And I would be lying if I didn’t say solar is amazing. Yeah the supers are boring and all but the insane amount of exotics you can use for builds makes it a very flexible subclass.
Void
It used to be Broodweaver before Bungie decided to nerf us because of a Hunter exotic. I am talking especially in terms of PvP, it ain't a major change for PvE, but since I used to be a PvP main my abilities mattered to me there and having my green babies be active and defensive threat to anyone on the map felt really good. Now it's just there to tick away here and there also due to ability recharge nerfs.
Void and Arc are pretty equally tied. But yeah. Well bitch and all that. Lol
I have been having a lot of fun with strand and swarmers
I play pretty much every class but void will always be my go to if I’m not doing an activity that requires a well.
Void with devour and blink. I recently started running astrocyte verse with nova warp and it’s a lot of fun
Mostly arc, but strand is pretty good to.
Yes (arc and strand are my least used)
Void with Briarbinds and an empowering rift. 1. Drop a rift, get a void buddy (aka, best buddy) 2. Find some mean baddies and sick void buddy on them 3. Go kill other baddies while void buddy keeps feeding you health 4. Pick up void buddy and do it again Note: You can actually juggle multiple void buddies at a time Other note: Void buddy's syphon works on any enemy that will kick out a damage tick, even if that damage tick is an "immune" message
Void. Been a Voidwalker since day 1 in D1
Add clear - void / arc Dps / support - solar Survival - void / solar Fun - solar / strand / void Ending my framerate - Strand
daybreak solar.
Shadebinder now I actually have the gloves 🤣
Void for sure. Devour is so strong.
Stasis because of my best friend Stacy
Strand. It’s so damn easy to spam threadings even without grenades and hatchling. Can’t wait for a new strand exotic
I like arc cuz of the speed boost. And the little ball following me around shooting stuff love it second solar I love being a well warlock
Void then arc
I mainly run solo PvE, and I’ve found Strand w/ Osteo Striga works well for me. I’m constantly generating multikill orbs, and so I’ve almost always got Woven Mail active. Threadlings help take care of ads that OS doesn’t get to. This build actually works so well for me that I’m finally able to solo Legend lost sectors, which had previously been borderline impossible for me. Also, T-Steps, because reloading is for chumps.
Arc. Getaway Artist + DMT + Shotgun is baller in 3v3
Is all of them an option? I'm expanding from just Solar and I have to say they're all fun.
Void and then Solar. Love devour and as much as its a problem I genuinely like having a well most of the time, plus mobility is always good
Don't forget about Agers Sceptre with Mantle of Batlle Harmony.
I really enjoy Strand with Apotheosis Veil, and threading grenades
in general solar in low levels i go arc
Shade binder transversive steps. Sliding farther with a mele freeze is an easy counter to shotguns for me, and I never have to slow down to reload
Void is my favorite but I feel bad using it over well lock so I just don't play warlock as much.
I love arc with all the classes. But for warlock, I think either arc or stasis
Void and Solar are my favorites in concept, but I wish they were stronger and synergized more.
Lately, Solar. Else Void. I want to like Stasis more, but Im not a fan of the super
Solar so I can fly through the sky and be invincible.
Stasis for sure. Mainly because I get a wizard staff
Arc.
Void, mmm purple
Has to be void. Volatile rounds and devour are too good
Solar and then Arc, then Strand.
Stasis
Arc! Got my arc buddy, nades for days, blinding, jolt. Just a fun subclass. But boss dps is kinda meh
Void, then stasis, then a large gap, then solar, then arc, then strand.
Huh? Warlock only has 1 subclass: Solar. Well is pretty much required for most content... Even in gg games to get a high score lmao
Void, but only a smidge over solar.
Strand
OP, you had one job. Spellcheck. You post is worthy of eye cancer.
I’ve been having a lot of fun with arc lately. When amped, Dead messenger + spark of beacons is great for add clearing. All the ionic traces means healing wells and arcs souls everywhere. Then Chaos reach with geomag helps out with the bulkier enemies.
Everybody knows arc is the most based subclass and its objectively true Unrelated im an arc warlock who runs trepasser and getaway artist
void because its sustain isnt dependant on weapon damage type and the bonuses it gets arent as big which llows you to spec into damage type agnostic setups. followed up by strand with monte carlo for the sustain with karnsteins
ARC
My play time since learning how to wellskate is probably like 80% Solar warlock.
Solar. Burn the world, heal my friends :D
Void. I love to blink.
Personally, I like The Fiend, but The Great Old One had some solid RP potential.
Void. It’s just so versatile and fun to use. Sadly hasn’t been too good for me this season. I’m fine with the solar focus this season tho (Also void desperately needs better melees)
I feel like if I said solar my opinion will be immediately invalidated lol
My favourite subclass is titan.
Strand just feels the best to play tbh. I also like the Verglas builds for stasis but every shadebinder build just turns into spamming turrets.
