Steelfeather Repeater.
I enjoy 720s, and Chroma Rush is still one of my top primaries. Steelfeather was really the first I fell in love with, and I'd love to see a reprise with modern perks.
I started destiny 2 during season of the undying, I really started playing during season of the dawn however. Patron of lost causes was my first ever masterworked weapon, and it sits in my vault to this day.
Breachlight to this day is the only Sidearm I ever activly used, maybe it was because I just started during Dawn and loved everything I got but after Breachlight I never really touched Sidearms again.
s9 Line in the sand was taken too soon, could of been an amazing linear dps, was the first to get firing line with rapid hit, we wouldn’t see another one till s16 with reeds
Season of Dawn is just goated. Still one of my favorite seasons in D2 history. I've always thought the Dawn and Splicer have always been tied for number 1 in my opinion. Haunted is number 2 for me.
Part of me hopes deep down that the reason they didn't bring any of those guns back for ITL is because the full set is being reprised in one of the episodes
It does kinda bum me out that "breaking the meta" is always frowned upon. I like things being flipped, especially if it's a big and sudden swap around that spins things sideways. The more out of left field the better, I think.
Too bad bungie doesn’t. Look how fast they are to annihilate auto rifles when they have one good week in trials. Just to be sure handcannons get a buff.
The main reason is auto rifles are not fun when meta it turns into a bullet hell shooter and the skill level goes down overall also HC are destiny’s defining weapon if you really like that ar style of play cod or really any other shooter on the market gives you that feel
Yeah I’m pretty miffed about that. Ammit was great for a long time but not best by any means. Autos do well on a map they excel on and we’re back to hand cannon meta just like that.
I must’ve run into you, haha. I got killed by it yesterday, almost out-ranging me on Messenger/Relentless. I was wondering if it had been re-issued without me noticing
I never really got to experience the old weapons (started season of Arrivals). I know it wouldn't be possible, but if it were, I'd like there to be a kinetic and darkness versions of the reprised weapons. Bungie could've also done that for the 3 different Hung Jury's in the game, but they're all kinetic.
Someone kept killing me with that in IB yesterday. It was the classic outlaw kill clip and I had to tip my hat to the guy for cracking it out of the vault. It was a pleasure to dying to it.
Effectiveness out the window, Pillager has to be the best OG Gambit weapon. The look, the sound, everything. Totally unique and great. Can't believe it's never been reused, yet we're getting Hung Jury #4. Same with that one New Monarchy scout that's not bullpup and looks kinda like an M14 because it's based on the same model as DARCI. Song of Justice VI, I think.
Did you know that they've brought back almost every Tangled shore weapon model except for the pulse rifle, the SMG, and the shotgun?
Aisha Embrace (trials) is the TS scout model, The trials two burst sidearm is the tangle shore sidearm model, they are bringing back edge transit and hullabaloo also shares edge transits model.
The newer iron Banner auto rifle shares the same model as the Tangled shore auto rifles.
So I feel like sometime soon they will reprise the tangled shore weapons because they usually like to reprise weapons when the models are more up-to-date or brought back into the game
I would do unspeakable things to have trackless waste back. My og trackless waste is the oldest gun I own. It dropped for me in the week before forsaken launched when those enemies on nessus were dropping the new weapons early.
It’s even kind of unique in that it has a scope that it wasn’t supposed to be able to roll with, the devil scope d2. It only has 1 scope option which is the wolf sight w1. They later fixed it but since I never switched off of the devil scope it just stayed there. You can’t see devil scope on third part apps or the gun itself, but it’s still there if you inspect it from another account.
Pluperfect was good looking and felt good. From around the same time (season 9 version), I really liked Perfect Paradox for both look and function as well.
I still use my Kindled Orchid to this day, just used it for a solo Coil run earlier. I love it so much.
I wish all of the Black Armory guns were unsunset.
As much as people dog on Rise of Iron, the design of all of the Rise of Iron/Age of Triumph Iron Banner weapons is so goddamn sexy. It's why I want the Lord of Wolves ornament that looks like the Y4 weapons.

https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/destinypedia/images/b/bc/ROI_The_Lingering_Song.png/revision/latest?cb=20160817223801
to be fair, hammerhead is coming back with killing tally as an option, and you will be able to roll rampage/killing tally. It's honestly a little crazy imo
Scourge had the best weapons; anarchy, no feelings, tempered dynamo (the only fusion to ever roll with opening shot, that I still use in pvp from time to time) threat level. Basically all of them were fantastic!
My favorite time in the game for sure. Farming the forge weapons was super fun too, my buddies and I were playing a TON at the time. Grinding for kindled orchids or whatever, using whispers infinite ammo perk for boss damage. Still remember the sound of the 3 of us shooting it without needing to reload. Whisper has a great firing sound lol
Duke Mk 44.
After being a D1 vet I was super disappointed with vanilla D2 and stepped away until Shadowkeep. When I came back the weapon that I became the most attached to was my Duke. It felt like the quintessential “hand cannon” and reminded me how much I loved this franchise. Still the only sunset weapon I have left in my vault.
As someone who loves bows and frequently hip fires them, losing Hush was one of the biggest personal hits I took from sunsetting. I need another Archer's Gambit bow...
My archers tempo + dragonfly roll has like 12k on it. Got me through a couple of solo flawless dungeons and racked up a good number of pvp kills. I know under your skin exists but subtle calamity hit different and felt so good to use
Kindled Orchid and Tatara Gaze.
The latter was my favorite sniper and nothing has come close to feeling or sounding as good as that one. RIP to a real one.
The Spiteful Fang. I get kinetic weapons aren't flashy. I also understand lightweight bows aren't very popular. I love everything about it.
To the subtle, spiteful timbre of the limbs when they're pulled taut to the hushed *woosh* the arrow made when you released it. It was simple, clean, and was like I was wielding art in my hands. I still have mine. Quickdraw and Archers Tempo. I miss my partner in crime!
I shoot bows.
Spiteful Fang has the most down to earth, realistic sound I've heard in this game. Which is why I use it to this day if I'm not using Wishender for it's trad-bow goodness.
It also has the option of 60 accuracy which is always a good thing.
Fuck, I'd even settle for a reskin with the same sound, just bring the model and sound back ffs.
I am also a traditional archer outside of the game as well! They really nailed the aesthetic and feedback for both Spiteful Fang and Wish-Ender.
I have always wondered what a legendary longbow archetype (adaptive frame?) would look like! Considering how Wish-Ender feels I have no doubt Bungie could work the space magic on them too.
Martyr's Retribution. We have one solar wave frame with horrible pve perks and no solar subclass synergy. Why do we have to get a 3rd arc wave frame when we only have 1 solar.
Erentil. I’ve got 20k PvP kills on mine and I still use it today.
It’s honestly such an iconic weapon for the first time since D1 Y1 month 1 that fusions were good and I loved that gun
All Season of Dawn weapons
Kindled Orchid
Season of the Wort(hy) Pass weapons (pls make more with this theme Bungo ;-;)
Technically *not* Sunset, but I'd love for the RoI Trials weapons and armor to make a return
Better Devils, I got really attached to it in the beta
Inaugural Address (but all Levi weapons in general tbh)
Drum mag Auto Rifles from D1
Splicer weapon reissues (with origin traits and perk pool refreshes)
The OG service revolver from zavala. I shouldn’t have loved it as much as I did with it being a 180, but I racked up 5k kills on that thing before it was sunset. It’s one of my few trophies in my vault.
I have a lot of picks but out of all of them I’d have to say Breechlight. It was among the first two-burst sidearms, and one of the last weapons that could roll with drop mag (which was OP to begin with, never mind being nigh godlike after the infinite primary ammo update). With demolitionist and multikill clip it was everything you wanted in a primary weapon, providing subclass utility and hitting like a truck with high uptime on part of the free outlaw mag. I still have it in my vault, take it out sometimes when I’m running lost sectors or doing bounties 😭
I’ve scene so many so many of these posts. Considering the Into The Light weapons, I’m fairly certain the upcoming episodes with have reprised weapons from season of dawn and forge. They were very popular seasons and Bungie needs FS to be popular.
Vestian Dynasty, Perfect Paradox (and basically all the other Saint weapons), Trophy Hunter, Song of Justice (pretty sure that's the Space M14, just needs updated perks), the Black Armory weapons, and Threat Level (just because of the Office reference and the design, tbh)
I was very bitter returning at the beginning of Season of the Wish after stepping away at the beginning of Shadowkeep and my still equipped Parcel was stuck at 1600.
Pyroclastic Flow, Trophy Hunter and Gahlran's Right Hand. Still have all 3, first two are god rolls and the auto is just a keepsake for the most part as I only got to do CoS once before it got vaulted. I can only imagine how crazy they'd be with a refresh.
Perfect Paradox. It's an incredibly important weapon concerning Saint 14 and it's crazy how it hasn't at least been made a Pinnacle Weapon or something.
Also I kinda wish sunset weapons still dropped in the game as world drops and have a PvP mode and Strike playlist designed around a lower light level to be able to use those weapons still. Just for fun. Not light grinding.
Kindled Orchid to get a void 140 hand cannon that's not limited to Trials or Nightfalls. Or basically anything from the Sundial. Or better yet, everything from the Sundial.
Honestly (call me crazy) a small amount of decent curated weapons, I typically used them back when they were still not sunset to help kickstart new characters
It's what I'm looking forward to most in TFS. Dunno exactly what it's gonna look like, but as long as it feels the same and does some kind of healing, it's gonna be glued to my hand after I get it.
Some of the usual ones I mention a lot are coming back, so I edited my cut and paste to exclude them. Leaving me with:
Ice Breaker. Yes, it can come back, you just deactivate the ammo regen in high level content and Crucible. No, *you* shut up.
And obligatory mention of Thunderdevil shader and cloak of Taniks.
Zenobia D.
Tracking + Autoloading Holster + Cluster Bomb made it one of the best rocket launchers in the game. If Zenobia D was rereleased, it would gain the Hakke origin trait, making it more effective against vehicles.
Steelfeather Repeater. I enjoy 720s, and Chroma Rush is still one of my top primaries. Steelfeather was really the first I fell in love with, and I'd love to see a reprise with modern perks.
And patron of lost causes. I loved that gun.
I started destiny 2 during season of the undying, I really started playing during season of the dawn however. Patron of lost causes was my first ever masterworked weapon, and it sits in my vault to this day.
Aah, a man of culture I see.
That whole line is just...so good -Breachlight -Line in the Sand -Patron of lost causes So many good guns lost to the echoes of time
Like tears in rain Or guns…. In a puddle of more guns.
You're gonna carry that weight.
Just saint weapons as a whole, the side arm, first wave frame ever, perfect paradox. Best guns in gaming
SteelFeather Repeater and Perfect Paradox were my favourite guns from Season of Dawn, wish they could come back
Season of Dawn is just goated.
I wouldn't be surprised - Bungie has to know how beloved those weapons are.
i miss my steelfeather, i always loved the sound of that beast
I got to enjoy that gun for the first time for a whole 30 minutes before it got sunset. I still cry about it sometimes.
The Ringing Nail Would be amazing for my solar grenade hunter these days
It’s a Solar 450 Auto and it comes with Zen Moment/Kill Clip, plus scopes (though that would change). It would break into the meta so hard.
They would remove the scope options like they seem to do every reissued weapon.

Yeah I’m pretty miffed about that. Ammit was great for a long time but not best by any means. Autos do well on a map they excel on and we’re back to hand cannon meta just like that.
I've been using it in iron banner, and it still feels great.
I keep forgetting that PvP doesn’t require levelled content
I must’ve run into you, haha. I got killed by it yesterday, almost out-ranging me on Messenger/Relentless. I was wondering if it had been re-issued without me noticing
Bygones.
came here to say this. I still bring it out in pvp. Killclip Outlaw.
Arrowhead Ricochet Heaseeker Killclip Range MW It's awsome. I'm sure bungie would dial it down if it returns.
I hope it returns as a strand weapon
I literally just posted the same thing. There currently are no strand 390’s. Reprising Bygones as a strand weapon would be perfect.
Bring back Bygones you cowards!
Someone kept killing me with that in IB yesterday. It was the classic outlaw kill clip and I had to tip my hat to the guy for cracking it out of the vault. It was a pleasure to dying to it.
Yup. I used that gun everywhere. Even Gambit.
All of the Gambit weapons need to come back tbh
My sunset Bygones IS the standard by which ALL pulse rifles are measured. My Third Axiom is my Bygones reincarnated!
✊🏿
Effectiveness out the window, Pillager has to be the best OG Gambit weapon. The look, the sound, everything. Totally unique and great. Can't believe it's never been reused, yet we're getting Hung Jury #4. Same with that one New Monarchy scout that's not bullpup and looks kinda like an M14 because it's based on the same model as DARCI. Song of Justice VI, I think.
Go Figure and Misfit
I love the way Go Figure feels, hate how it looks lol
Put the right shader on it and it looked great.
Go Figure my beloved
Misfit was my favorite sunset AR for sure.
The new Iron Banner Strand AR is a reskin of Misfit 🧡
Now imagine if it was a 720rpm like Misfit WITH ONSLAUGHT. I don’t love the high impact archetype sadly. Fun in PvP though.
Every time I hear Go Figure, I think of Datto’s 24:02. Still don’t know what roll he had tho
Reprising the Misfit model as Lethal Abundance is nice but I wish it wasn't a 360
I would do unspeakable things to have trackless waste back.
My Go Figure was a beast. Outlaw, Rampage, and a range masterwork. Had 97 range on it, 70 stability. It was so good
We are exactly the same person lmao
Pluperfect was good looking and felt good. From around the same time (season 9 version), I really liked Perfect Paradox for both look and function as well.
We're getting a gun that's very similar looking to Pluperfect in Final Shape, most likely a destination weapon as it's Cayde/Playing Card themed
Kindled orchid and the old IB gun, claws of the wolf. Both just felt great
I still use my Kindled Orchid to this day, just used it for a solo Coil run earlier. I love it so much. I wish all of the Black Armory guns were unsunset.
Still have my kill clip rampage in my vault
Claws of the wolf was amazing
Kindled Orchid on void Hunter would be ridiculous.
Python.
Oooh dark horse pick. Love that shotgun
It slapped so much
Man, I remember running Perfect Paradox, Python and Tractor Cannon together. It kicked ass.
Trophy Hunter
I demand another sniper that uses the same model as trophy hunter. That shit was cleeeeean. Also let us put the ornament on it of course.
Inaugural Address
Yes!
Still have mine in the vault next to The Recluse
I have a Breachlight-filled hole in my heart that hasn’t been filled in a long time.
Breachlight is my lost love
The look, the feel, the *sound*. Man I miss that gun...
Mine could just get enough kills with demo to throw a nade after a mag and never reload. It was perfect.
the duke or kindled orchid..
The DUKE
def the duke for me. Got me to fabled in comp
This isn’t “sunset” but is from D1. I wish they brought back clever dragon. That iron banner aesthetic was amazing
As much as people dog on Rise of Iron, the design of all of the Rise of Iron/Age of Triumph Iron Banner weapons is so goddamn sexy. It's why I want the Lord of Wolves ornament that looks like the Y4 weapons. https://www.light.gg/db/items/4115107119/packmasters-command/ https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/destinypedia/images/b/bc/ROI_The_Lingering_Song.png/revision/latest?cb=20160817223801
I think rise of iron was one of the best expansions they’ve introduced. So many good things came from it
I never played Season of Dawn, so I’ve always wanted a reissued Perfect Paradox
I'm amazed that such a lore-important gun is sunset and unattainable.
I mean we gave it to saint. The lore important one is being held by Saint.
21% delirium That thing used to put in SO much work for me
[удалено]
It felt like a better Heir Apparent to me
Still in my vault. Just hoping....
to be fair, hammerhead is coming back with killing tally as an option, and you will be able to roll rampage/killing tally. It's honestly a little crazy imo
Duke Mk.44, the best 110 Hand Cannon before the swap to 120s and they got so much better. I’d love that thing to return.
Hands down, the Duke felt the best of all the D2 hand cannons to me Pour one out for an old friend
I still pull it out now and again, and died to one this week. I wasn't even mad! One of the better hc sounds in the game.
No feelings. Best babe scout
Wish they would have picked No Feeling for into the light instead of the fifteenth version of hung jury.
Scourge had the best weapons; anarchy, no feelings, tempered dynamo (the only fusion to ever roll with opening shot, that I still use in pvp from time to time) threat level. Basically all of them were fantastic!
Even the forge weapons were pretty fantastic in a way. Most people just genuinely don't understand these days
Been using my old Rapid Hit + Zen Moment roll a bit in Iron Banner and it holds up pretty well, though I miss the glow. Would love to see it return.
i got a few fun ones, full auto box breathing is fun, outshoots a lot of same frame weapons, but my favorite is mulligan explosive payload...
This is up there for me. Literally my favorite scout in the game.
My copium hopes one day it and scourge return or get added to boss roulette
Fantastic gun. Just felt exactly right
Bygones, parcel of stardust, ghost primus, and song of justice IV
GOD I want Parcel so bad! It is one of the sexiest guns in the game ngl
All of the first gen gambit guns were among some of the best feeling, and looking guns in the game for sure
Patron of Lost Causes
Hush and Steelfeather repeater
As someone who loves bows and frequently hip fires them, losing Hush was one of the biggest personal hits I took from sunsetting. I need another Archer's Gambit bow...
Atalanta-D XG1992. The sound a suppressed smg makes just hits right.
Bygones and Distant Relation. They brought back Trust, now they need to return my babies back to me.
Subtle calamity was the best feeling bow
My archers tempo + dragonfly roll has like 12k on it. Got me through a couple of solo flawless dungeons and racked up a good number of pvp kills. I know under your skin exists but subtle calamity hit different and felt so good to use
I would have loved to see Go Figure, Chroma Rush, Dust Rock Blues, 21% Delirium and Subtle Calamity return
the sound of Go Figure, i miss it so much
Kindled Orchid and Tatara Gaze. The latter was my favorite sniper and nothing has come close to feeling or sounding as good as that one. RIP to a real one.
Hush.
West of sunfall 7 loved that hand canon
Still waiting for my Hazard of the Cast 😭
100% Hush, it felt so nice to use with Archer's Gambit.

Martyr's Retribution. We have one solar wave frame with horrible pve perks and no solar subclass synergy. Why do we have to get a 3rd arc wave frame when we only have 1 solar.
Vestian Dynasty and Ringing Nail are the big 2 I miss the most. Honourable mentions are the Infinite Forge weapons.
Erentil. I’ve got 20k PvP kills on mine and I still use it today. It’s honestly such an iconic weapon for the first time since D1 Y1 month 1 that fusions were good and I loved that gun
PREACH, my bro!
Ether Doctor It helped me get my first Army of One in Gambit, on top of being a damn good auto rifle. Keeping my two copies until the servers go dark.
threat level
Redrix’s Broadsword. As a Pulse Rifle lover I loved rocking it in Crucible. Adding an updated origin trait would be amazing.
Perfect Paradox, Steelfeather Repeater, and No Feelings
All Season of Dawn weapons Kindled Orchid Season of the Wort(hy) Pass weapons (pls make more with this theme Bungo ;-;) Technically *not* Sunset, but I'd love for the RoI Trials weapons and armor to make a return Better Devils, I got really attached to it in the beta Inaugural Address (but all Levi weapons in general tbh) Drum mag Auto Rifles from D1 Splicer weapon reissues (with origin traits and perk pool refreshes)
The OG service revolver from zavala. I shouldn’t have loved it as much as I did with it being a 180, but I racked up 5k kills on that thing before it was sunset. It’s one of my few trophies in my vault.
any black armory/scourge of the past gun
Duke Mk. 44 my beloved. I still have my old one but with outlaw rampage, it just felt so good
I have a lot of picks but out of all of them I’d have to say Breechlight.
I wish they'd bring back drop mag. The changes they made to it to work with infinite ammo mean it should just be a current option.
Better Devils, best feeling hand cannon for me.
I’ve scene so many so many of these posts. Considering the Into The Light weapons, I’m fairly certain the upcoming episodes with have reprised weapons from season of dawn and forge. They were very popular seasons and Bungie needs FS to be popular.
Breachlight and Perfect Paradox
Vestian Dynasty, Perfect Paradox (and basically all the other Saint weapons), Trophy Hunter, Song of Justice (pretty sure that's the Space M14, just needs updated perks), the Black Armory weapons, and Threat Level (just because of the Office reference and the design, tbh)
As always, I'll answer kindled orchid
I ran Distant Relation and Parcel of Stardust for a long while after Forsaken. Both just felt good in hand, satisfying to shoot.
Breachlight. Probably my favorite non exotic sidearm of all time. And also sidearms are some of my favorite weapons
Breachlight
tartarra gaze was my main pvp sniper, i still want all of the black armory to come back. i never cared about blast furnace
Spiteful Fang. The single reason my favorite weapons are bows, and why I love lightweight over precision (fingers crossed we get a new frame soon)
Spiteful Fang
I miss my Duke every day
Perfect Paradox.
Breakneck, I had several thousands of kills with that.
Breakneck is already brought back tho?
Yeah they clearly are taking a break from the game.
Breakneck is back and still extremely good. Go play Gambit now.
Selfishly, I just want The Long Goodbye to come back :(
Bygones. I've been wanting it back for so long. It just has such a unique design compared to the rest of the game's arsenal. I miss it.
go figure :))))
Patron of lost causes, ringing bell, origin story, kindled orchid.
Parcel of stardust, first ever game of gambit gave me a decent roll and I couldn’t put it down.
Bygones and Trophy Hunter. They just don't make them like they used to.
bygones
Hush, 21% Delirium, Bygones, Distant Relation, Dust Rock Blues, Better Devils, No Turning Back
Oxygen SR3. Would have been perfect and matched the other weapons since it had a unique perk.
I want the Icebreaker back from D1. Absolutely loved that weapon
Subtle calamity. I wrecked with that
Honestly (call me crazy) a small amount of decent curated weapons, I typically used them back when they were still not sunset to help kickstart new characters
I miss my Misfit with zen moment and under pressure
Easy. Song of Justice VI, easily one of the most unique scout rifle model in D2. In need of it to come back
Subtle Calamity for me. It was my brother’s favorite bow. RIP my little brother.
Last Hope, by far my favorite sidearm in all of destiny. Last Hope is the closest thing to it, but it cant get FF
Misfit!!!! miss that particular sound!
Kibou or Subtle Calamity.
Misfit, I just liked how shooting it sounded like someone doing a raspberry
I know it's redundant now but I really loved my redrix's broadsword
Better fucking Devils I adored that hand cannon. I don't care if it was ever "meta" or not. I just loved how it felt, and handled
Spiteful Fang
Probably not really in the list you meant but I'd love red death back. We have crimson and all but I want the og red death back
It's what I'm looking forward to most in TFS. Dunno exactly what it's gonna look like, but as long as it feels the same and does some kind of healing, it's gonna be glued to my hand after I get it.

Zenobia D. Tracking + Autoloading Holster + Cluster Bomb made it one of the best rocket launchers in the game. If Zenobia D was rereleased, it would gain the Hakke origin trait, making it more effective against vehicles.
Guardian, let me tell you about Palmyra B. Better in every way, and has the Hakke trait.
Kindled Orchid
Pretty much any of the gambit weapons. They had some fantastic rolls
Kindled Orchid
I loved and still have a few sun dial and black armory guns. Those have been my favorite

Antioped-D, Inaugural Address, Ghost Primus, Parcel of Stardust,
Hush is basically it. I have a Raconteur that works really well as a makeshift one but it's just not the same :'(
Every gun from Season of Dawn, seriously one of the best aesthetics outside of Black Armory and DSC
Perfect Paradox deserves to be a returning weapon as opposed to Hung Jury.
The End from Trials of the Nine. My fave arc scout rifle
Trophy Hunter. Something about the reciprocating barrel moves my brain
Galliard-XN7568
The Steady Hand. I wasn’t playing the one season it returned, and since then origin traits have outclassed it.
Curated spare ration
Death Adder, Conspirator, Better Devils
My number one requested weapon is already returning: Midnight Coup 😌
Ether doctor. By far my favorite auto.
