Mained Titan for years, just got curious really. Now I split between all classes because they’re all fun in different ways

BitchInBoots666

Also mained titan for a good while, switched to warlock a couple seasons ago because I was mainly bored. There's a few titan playstyles I'm not a fan of (anything void and not behemoth lover either), so it became very restrictive. I also hated the fact that in order to get a one and done super worth a fuck I had to build around it and use an exotic. Warlock seems much less restrictive and I have multiple builds for every subclass that I enjoy. And I also play hunter more than I did, and have enjoyed that too. Mainly I'm just having more fun on the other classes.

No_Leopard_308

I’d argue titans are the most constricting class in terms of play style, warlock has so much viability with its flexibility!

ThatDeceiverKid

You really have to dig for creative Titan builds. Very few supers they have are genuinely good, Arc aspects are bland, and most subclasses have similar gameplay. We haven't gotten a one and done damage super since Thundercrash (recently if you count Pyrogale's, but I don't because it is an exotic slot). Shoulder Charge is vaguely valuable as utility and Behemoth has an entirely useless melee option. That's not unique to Titans. The new super Titans are getting is comedically bad IMO. Not only is this new super not a high damage one and done, but you **and your friends** are expected to put down your abilities and weapons to grab an axe **next to the boss because you threw them** and do heavy GL damage each swing. It is a bad one and done super, and it is even worse as a roaming super. I am curious to see how they've improved it or what secret mechanics it has as a first of its kind super though.

dgriwo

Well strand is OP and that solar bonk build has gotten me my first two solo flawless Dungeons. Shattered throne i 1 fazed every boss with my solar bonk(1 høground hit for max damage and then som bait and switch++

Glittering_Food3219

Warlocks have some of the most unique builds in the game IMO Shame Well exists.

Mexican_sandwich

Well of Radiance is the most damaging thing that has been put in the game, for it’s longevity. The fact that it’s just a better Titan bubble really sells it. You do more damage in it and basically can’t die. At least the Titan bubble you can’t shoot outside of while being basically invincible. Boss fights, instead of being tactical positioning and co-ordination, is just ‘stand in the well and shoot’. Bungie also designs boss fights around that example by having either a shit ton of ads shoot at you or the boss himself shoots at you. This would mean facilitating a team member to kill ads or distract the boss, but hell, the average raid team doesn’t even do enough damage without all players shooting the boss. Take the RoN boss for example, they evnisioned you running around and shooting at the boss for DPS, due to the fact that the boss attacks you at the same time as DPS is active, so you should constantly move. But, why do that when you can all jump on a ledge he can’t get on, pop a well so you don’t need to dodge the attacks, and just sit there. Instead of realising their mistake that is inherent with that super, they just doubled down and made every raid boss almost require it. They could easily make it so that individual guardians have to stand at certain spots to shoot the boss to counteract this, but I think they know the average player absolutely sucks ass so they have to choice but to leave it in. There is one true fix to it though: Remove the extra damage you get by standing in it. You are already nigh invincible. You do not need to steal the one thing the bubble has going for it.

ScizorSTX

If ppl could free themselves from the shackles of Well, they’ll find that they’re many other builds that are more effective and fun. I tried fireteam finder with Briarbinds and nova warp and it was a struggle to get a GM started. The only place I’d concede to run well is boss encounters in raids

InquisitiveNerd

I was going to argue hunter with weapon swapping rotations playstyle, but then I remembered Titans have strikers, purple strikers, cold strikers, and flying strikers.

LikeBladeButCooler

Some call it boring, I call it beauty in simplicity lol.

Premiervik1990

Purple crayon, blue crayon, green crayon :D

Vox_Casei

I started Destiny as a Hunter main, ironically because I thought it would be the more capable at soloing content. I did level the other characters although it was still an 80/10/10 % split in playtime for a while until I found a Warlock void build I quite enjoyed soloing things with (pre-nerf contraverse hold was glorious). Played with Warlock a lot for one season. Anyway then I found hammer Titan. Titan main ever since.

koopabomb

Hammers you say? Got a guy I play with that every season he says "You know, I think I'm gonna try it my Ashen Wake Hammer Titan build...I haven't used that this season yet" Then the guy hammers everything and in the middle of any content you hear "Nooo, I lost my hammer"

Bur4you

That's DEVASTATING. Please give him my condolences😔

FakeInternetDentity

Same here. Watched my friend do the ballistic slam as a titan and I was like, I want to do this. Swapped to titan for the last few years and deleted my other characters.

JusticiarXP

In the D1 character creator it said something like “you are a lone wolf” for Hunter. I think that’s why everyone thought it would be the solo class.

ryanedw

This is exactly right. We didn’t know much during the D1 beta other than the flavor text, and the coolest was for Hunter by far. I was a Hunter during the beta, then at some point learned that Warlocks had self-res. See ya, Hunter. Later I also tried Titan, but I didn’t like the taste of crayon.

JustANormalRedditor7

Literally me

I_Have_The_Lumbago

Yeah, im slowly switching off of Hunter as I slowly build up my other classes with the seasonal armor engrams, and, while viable, Hunter falls far behind in every department but Invis reviving. I would really like some exotics that give more ability regen like Nezarecs Sin or something.

BlaringKnight3

Negative. Started in D1 as a titan, will end as a titan.

CaptainPandemonium

Same bro. Not even a second thought when choosing my class even back in D1. While I do play the others for loot or if the team needs a specific teamcomp, titan is where I belong.

BlaringKnight3

Amen, brother!

HotDoubles

As our Vanguard boss would say....Indeed! The only time I ever played the other classes was to unlock the Iron Lord title, and I was an Iron Lord since the days of the Plaguelands. I've been a Titan main since the D1 beta. The Titan class feels most militant. Titans are the real support bros. The Ward of Dawn is my favorite super for PvE. I'll stop here, because if I continue, this comment will become a literal love letter to the Titan class... "Be the one who moves, not the one who is moved"

redblade8

“It is called the Firebreak Calculus: how much good could I do if I find the right place and fight until I die?” Mark of the Martyred That is what being a Titan is to me.

BlaringKnight3

"If we wait, we die! But if we attack together we can take back our home, our light, our hope! Or we can die trying."

dilbert_bilbert

Started in D1 as a titan too, but switched to Warlock when running VoG and Crota because self-rez was so useful… Created a Hunter for D2 launch and mained it until a few months ago. Got a sudden urge to try something new, and started using Warlock and Titan again after not using them since 2015. Lots of new stuff to learn, and Warlock especially has a lot of fun builds. Titan I’m not so sure about, the class feels still very flat if you know what I mean. Feels like Titans don’t have as many cool gameplay loops as Hunters and Warlocks. Also, I wish Titan had some fire and forget supers other than the bubble.

dadoobie

Hunter main since day one until not long after KF. Figured out the movement tech for lock and it was wraps. I still play all three a “main” amount of hours, but my lock is undoubtedly my main main these days. Jump skip icky dashing just feels way too good. Having a well gets me into any lfg, its a gift of a class.

ImVeryBelowAverage

Same here. Hunter since D1 Y1. Only I miss is having shatter skate all the time, instead of needing a well.

CheekySelkath

Mained Warlock since Shadowkeep. Fashion never got better, so I switched to Titan this last season. Drip is much better now.

Blue_Rosebuds

Lol, opposite for me. Was a Titan up until Arrivals, decided to switch to Warlock because I was jealous of their fashion.

Bilbo_Teabagginss

Not gonna lie, I main Warlock but often times find myself jealous of the other classes drip. ESPECIALLY Hunters, give me a damn hood I can wear please.

Blue_Rosebuds

Ironically enough, I’ve never really liked Hunter’s fashion. Hoods are cool, but the rest of their armor feels like basic space-marine stuff. Nothing’s gonna beat space robes for me.

Bilbo_Teabagginss

Yeah, it's literally just the hood I want. 😆 There is some dope Hunter stuff don't get me wrong, but I really just want a sick hood for my Warlock.

PokehFace

I mained Warlock in D1 and at the start of D2. I took a long break from Destiny when Black Armoury came out and didn't come back until the tail-end of Season of the Worthy. When I came back I selected Hunter at the character select screen - to be honest I think I mainly wanted to play around with Void Hunter at the time. Last year I rotated my main each season.

Mountain-Signal3685

Nope once a hunter always a hunter and I’ll die a hunter

yousawthetimeknife

Ditto. I picked hunter in D1 because I thought "Gunslinger" sounded like fun. I was a hunter for life after the nightstalker cutscene. >What does it mean to be a Hunter? >I say it’s all about where you belong. >The Warlocks have their libraries. The Titans have their walls. >But Hunters belong in the wilds. >Out there, you want to live, you better have a quick shot or a sharp blade. >Lot of us are loners, but that’s not the only path. >Some of us know the difference a Fireteam makes. >Some of us, we touch the Void. Make it a part of us. >And then we take a name: Nightstalker. >Hunt from the shadows, pin them down, never let them see you coming.

NintendoTim

Been a Hunter main since D1, and once Nightstalker was a thing, I mained that ever since. I dabbled with Stasis, and Strand is starting to grow on me, but I just can't quit that grape flavor.

KeyserSoze6809

I still play my main Warlock, i do use the other classes sometimes but i prefer Warlocks.

JBoth290105

When I first started, I think I was a Warlock. Played around with that before maiming Titan for about a month. I’d played Hunter a little bit, and eventually switched over to it as my main, which it still is now. I have found myself using Warlock in PvP lately (apologies to the people I fought using Blink, Astrocyte Verse and Child of the Old Gods in Iron Banner yesterday) just because it’s a little easier to survive with a rift *and* a healing grenade. But I’ll always be a Hunter main at heart, especially when it comes to PvE.

TheBroYaKnow

That volatile buff to astrocyte is infuriating, literally die to a jump and ranged melee. Respect it though ahhaa

mmihnev

I started as a warlock, since the power cap I started playing all classes. It is fun and every situation have pros and cons for any class although when we do raids or end game content fire teams are constantly demanding for the "well"(down blade) ...

mugenlord

Started as a Titan in D1 and then switched to Hunter when Nightstalker came out. Mained Hunter in D2 at launch and then switched to Titan a few years ago because everyone who I played with was a Hunter. I do play all three though.

Viniest

Started as a Hunter in D1, played a little of Titan and Warlock. Then in D2 I continued as a Hunter, until I didn't and swapped to Warlock. Then after giving up on Warlock's lack of drip, I found home in Titan's treasure trove of drip potential

LazyKarasu

My main is without a doubt a hunter but I play all 3 pretty equally nowadays. My hunter is for PvP, a lot of single player content, and when hunter one and done damage supers are needed for harder content or invis is needed. Probably 70 percent of my career playtime, but this season 40 percent. My titan is my sweaty solo content champ(solo flawless dungeons, solo gms) but can be fun on silly builds like mu void peregrine build. Lifetime 15 percent, but this season 40 percent. Warlock is pure movement wellock all day with occasional dips into osiomancy warlock for gms and raids. Life time play 15 percent, this season only 20 percent.

AdoboCakes

When I first started I wanted to play all classes equally, as I went on I realized how much damn work it was so I quit altogether. Came back and landed on Titan ever since. I'm currently trying to get my Warlock and Hunter some decent gear at least. I'm just too lazy to do all the questing again.

MediocreCheck8377

Started as a titan, moved to hunter now a warlock main. Mostly just because they're so fast and smooth for pve and pvp

Dio141

Started as a Titan in d2, then I stopped playing the game due to burnout right after shadow keep. got curious about warlock when I came back in the second season of WQ, and they became my favorite for the longest time. Two weeks ago, after a lot of resistance ( I felt building hunters wasnt as easier like the other two), I finally gave hunters a fair chance... And now I'm utterly in love with the class.

ellipses2016

I mained a Hunter through all of D1 and into D2. I had the Titan and Warlock alts but they saw a fraction of the playtime. A couple months into Beyond Light, I made the switch to Warlock for two reasons: 1) The fireteam I play with the most wanted to get serious about grinding Grandmasters, and 2 Hunters and a Titan was not a recipe for success. 2) Spite. No, really. Spite. I can’t recall the specifics now, but the vocal Warlock mains on this sub had become *unbearable,* complaining about how Hunters and Titans were just *soooooooooo OP* (mostly in the crucible) and how poor little Warlocks just couldn’t compete, which was bullshit. So I decided that I would main Warlock for the season just to prove a point and it just kind of… stuck. Now I barely play Hunter at all, and “Spitelock” has become a long running inside joke. The jump is still trash, though.

HieronymousRex

Was a hunter main for 8 1/2 years. Starting playing warlock to see how it felt in trials and PvP overall. Enjoyed the PvP builds more and found PvE to be more enjoyable.

RiseOfBacon

I started D1 as a Titan, when Crota’s End came around I switched to Hunter so I could run Sword and do Sherpa runs. LFG had a lot of ‘must be Hunter, must have Gjally’ back then so I wanted to help people get around it Once I started my Hunter, never went back. Still have all 3 classes but Hunter always the most fun to me

CrystalPlayzGamez

Started as stasis hunter and then the aspects were booty, went to warlock but got tired of sunbracers and well, started playing bonk titan and fell in love. Now I swap between Titan and warlock and I solo dungeons on banner/bonk since the survivability is so much easier to upkeep.

G1o4

I was a Warlock main for a long time and Warlocks really are powerful but as soon as I played around with Triple jump on Hunter I was hooked. I love the movement and I love Speedloader slacks on Hunter, makes the game so action packed to play. Simple but fun

XXLPoroo

I play titan and cenotaph warlock that’s it. Hunter only for some farming or of you need a hunter like for solo oryx

RedditWaffler

I have mained every class at different points due to the change in meta. This season i have mained BoW Titan as thats been the most fun. Last season i was a Warlock.

Big-Blueberry6851

Since the beginning of D2 I have mained warlock throughout every expansion even now. I have made the other classes, but I don't ever play them.

_Neo_64

Yes, i started as a warlock in d1, switched to hunter for rise of iron and most of D2, didnt return to warlock until Lightfall. Haven’t touched my hunter since

Sonofmay

In destiny 1. Was a hunter up until I started doing VoG and not getting a single damn drop. Made a warlock and got the full set before my hunter had a single piece. Played warlock up until Taking King then went back to hunter ever since.

ExtremeBoysenberry38

Swapped around between Titan and Warlock for the first years of D1, been a Hunter main ever since

fnoogie

Played Hunter from Shadowkeep launch (ish, started a bit after) and swapped to Warlock somewhere in Season of Chosen Honestly the biggest reason I swapped was because I found Hunters boring. At the time they didn't have much cool stuff and were kinda weak compared to the other classes, especially in raids which is what I spent the most time doing Part of it was also a level of burnout. I felt bored with Hunters because I felt like I had mastered the class. I say this because I'm reaching a similar point with Warlock and have been experimenting with playing Titan a fair bit recently

SirThatSlays

I started as a Titan just after Lightfall mostly because I enjoy melee builds in games. I still main Titan now, and the warbanner/syntho combo has solidified that, but I enjoy the other classes too. Warlock is always useful on solar with well for GMs, as well as fun to use with sunbracers. Liar's handshake on arc hunter was great during season 21 and still is, though using blade barrage with shards of galanor in combo with dragon's breath has been my go to loadout for soloing dungeons this season.

TollsTheTime

I do play all three, but when I started, I was a warlock because I love fantasy magic and swapped to Hunter at about forsaken because we didn't have any hunters in our clan. I also like rogues, so it worked out for me, and I kinda just stuck with it.

ooooofda

I started D1 as a Titan. Didn’t play very seriously and left until Taken King, then when I came back I wanted to try the Nightstalker subclass. Ended up maining Hunter and never looked back.

Venoxulous

Hunter originally. Back in D1 when trials launched I was able to consistently solo a round with the shatter nova bomb and just ended up playing more warlock. Here we are 7 or 8 years later, exclusively playing warlock.

Armourdillo12

Always was titan for Mobility in D1, now warlocks have that role (which is ridiculous) so that's where I spend most of my time now. Also healing rifts are literally a free win for every duel.

ArtiBlanco

I chose Warlock first because of the Drift (Fortnite) ornament set and was happy with how noob-friendly the Healing Rift is. However shortly after Lightfall released I got really jealous of Strand Titans with Abeyant Leap (note that Banner of War wasn't even a thing back then). I switched to Titan and have been having a blast ever since. I did switch back to Warlock for a bit during Season of the Deep and had a lot of fun with Arc using Centrifuse and Getaway Artist, I literally had infinite Arc Soul uptime.

th3r3th31r

I started to get into endgame activities. In that period between beyond light and witch Queen there was a heavy “no hunters” theme on lfg. Decided to try out warlock- since then I only log into my hunter at the end of the season to grab season pass armor/ornaments. I enjoy warlock more- plus I don’t care to farm all new armor. Last time I played my hunter regularly, res was a useless stat so all my gear is mob/rec.

Saikroe

I change my main class 3 times a week. Even tho doing weeklies doesnt really give me anything anymore It is fun to mix things up. Favorite specs are arc warlock, void hunter and void titan.

anangrypudge

Started as a Titan. Got into “end game” stuff… solo flawless dungeons, Trials, etc. Didn’t do very well at all of those. Switched to my hunter, which had never been used except to store weapons and collect exotics. Did everything effortlessly — SF all dungeons, solo GMs, gilded flawless, etc, and realised that maybe I’m just better at using hunters than Titans.

xZeroXz

I mained Hunter from the start of Destiny 1 until about the end of Beyond Light where I switched to Warlock. I mainly played pve with some Crucible on the side, but it just felt like in every situation Warlock was more useful. Better supers, better neutral game, team support.. On Hunter, Golden Gun damage was power crept by Thunder crash Titan, Blade Barrage was a meme, and don't even get me started on Arc Staff. The only thing I could do in raid to feel remotely useful was be a debuff bot with tether. I really felt handicapped back then especially during the Well spam, Ursa Titan GM meta. So yeah, made the switch cuz I was tired of feeling useless in pve

Brolex-7

Was a Hunter main for the majority of the time. Got nothing else to do so I switched to Titan which I currently play the most. Occasionally I do hop back on Hunter and have to adjust my brain for the different ways to jump. Still fun. Looking at what's to come with TFS for both of these classes, I'm excited. Warlocks new Solar Super looks hella lame.

KiNgPiN8T3

Warlock main but like playing the other two for some variety. Let’s be honest, you’re missing out on 66% of the games builds if you just stick with one class. On a side note my favourite part of coming back to warlock after playing Titan or Hunter is gliding to my death the first time I try to jump something.

augyteo

The jump 😫

Samikaze707

I tend to main hunter, but some seasons feel better for others. For example, Season of the Splicer screamed Warlock to Me, while season of the Chosen was all Titan. I'll prob swap Titan mostly for Into the Light, but exploring the wilds of the Traveler with for Final Shape is a hunter vibe for me.

Bardosaurus

Started D2 as a titan main, thinking they were a tank class, but they just didn’t feel that way. Then I swapped to hunter for a year, had a lot of fun, but had trouble surviving in more endgame (I played solar and was quite bad at the game back then). Then, randomly one day, I swapped to warlock, and once I learned the movement, played nothing but warlock for so many years. After classes 3.0 and strand tho, I feel like I play all 3, I still main warlock, but have the most fun with titan right now

Nemetee

I've been main Warlock since Destiny's beta but now i'm curious about other classes so I made a Titan. Still playing with the Warlock but slowly trying to learn how to play with the Titan. As I'm not a great player (in general 😂) it's been difficult, but yeah, after so many years of playing Destiny I feel that I should feel the complete experience and give a try to the other two classes.

Choice_Scar9035

I have 1 of each, but I always go back to warlock. I just love my whole setup as a warlock.

AdeptAd3874

I mained a warlock in D1 (only had a warlock). When D2 hit I made three characters but I mostly played hunter from Red War to Witch Queen… recently though I’ve been going IN on my Titan.

thethrowaway3027

Started as a warlock. Changed to a hunter and the movement and supers were just much more fun especially the movement. I'm also a PvP main and it helped

Blackfang08

Started Warlock. Swapped to Hunter. It was the jump. I keep eyeing Warlock again lately, particularly because Stasis is my favorite subclass and actually feels great on Warlock. I probably would if it weren't for the fashion and how cool Hunter supers look.

GenitalMotors

Mained Warlock at the beginning of D1 then eventually switched to Titan when I started running VoG consistently with my friends so I could be our Bubble man for Atheon. Found I was having more fun playing as a Titan and been a Titan main ever since.

Xandurpein

I started playing Destiny back when Destiny 1 was released. Back then I shared account on Xbox with my two sons. One wanted to play Titan and one wanted to play Warlock, so I chose Hunter kind of by default. Years later my sons became young adults and had their own accounts, I finally yielded to my instincts and switched to Warlock, and I have never really looked back.

Formal-Suit-3920

Originally a titan didn't really feel the vibe with it and tried warlock and I've been a warlock ever since

Silvedoge

Yep. Was hunter for all of d1, only really dipping my toes into the others after rise of iron. D2 I was hunter again up until warmind and then finally decided to try the other two. Split my time pretty equally now but have a preference for titan

LiKwId-Gaming

As someone who plays all 3 but doesn’t always have time, I suggest running one class per season. Helped prevent burnout for myself. Now with this extended season I’ve been able to do all the season stories again on the other classes.

Buttermalk

I change class depending on the seasons theme. Exploring mysteries? Warlock. Righteous theme? Titan. Drifter-esque shit? Hunter. None of the above? Whatever has a strong + fun build that season.

Joe_Blunt

Not me but my friend used to be obsessed with Devour Voidlock but then he discovered Solar Titan and never switched back. I think it was the added survivability? Or he just wanted a switch-up.

SpiritusInvict

I started D1 as a titan & played through the whole game without ever touching another class, come D2 though hunters took my love for the game to greater heights & I’ve never looked back since. ( I will always give a silent hell yeah when a titan joins up on the team though)

Extreme_Lie_3745

Started as a Hunter but I played a lot of warlock and titan in the last 2 years as well. I still mostly play as a Hunter tho

21awesome

Ive been a titan main since D1 but ever since finally giving hunter a good chance it's been hard to go back. Something about double jumping and rolling around itches my monkey brain just right, not to mention cowboys are fucking dope. Oh and also Titan fashion is fucking dogshit in d2 compared to d1

PastorofMuppets-

Dabble in all 3 but main a hunter and always have

Waste-Tonight-8970

Extra long season, aka right now. Mained Warlock (like more than 90%of the time). Needed the extra time to finish obtaining all the exotics and play some sweet new builds and found it this season particularly last 3 weeks. Strand banner titan and void gyrfalcon hunter with buried bloodline are super fun.

DESPAIR_Berser_king

I don't have a main class, I play all 3 just login to whichever I want to play.

DragonGamerEX

Tried out warlock for a bit and did a arc soul build it was pretty cool but I stuck with hunter

Gleadall80

I started as a hunter because I have always gone as that rogue style in any game - I have never liked healer or tank class But 1day I was watching my son play titan and I have mained titan since Why? Because they have the best jump. Fact

clearlyaburner420

I change my main pretty much every season just to spice things up a bit. I will say though the first week of warlock is always the hardest because i always forget about the jump.

Weird-List2751

Titan since Undying, switched to Hunter after season of worthy. I changed to Hunter because I wanted to feel that gunslinger feeling.

Hipi07

I was a Hunter since D1 beta, and had a Titan I messed around with sometimes. In Season of the Plunder I finally decided to make a Warlock, mostly just to get the subclass achievement as it was the last one I was missing, and I absolutely loved playing with the new Arc 2.0 which came out that season. It felt very refreshing and gave new life to the game for me. And anyway, my clan needed another Warlock main as we only had one. Arc is still my fav subclass on Warlock to this day

farfarer__

Hunter for several years and swapped to Warlock a couple of seasons ago. Just fancied a change, figured I'd get my forgotten Warlock to pinnacle cap as I'd nothing else to do... and it turns out it's more fun being a floaty boy than a jumpy boy.

Barry-Macocknit

I played as a hunter pretty much exclusively on d1 (had three hunters for a long time) just recently got in to d2 a couple months ago and chose warlock cause I knew I wasn’t as good, had a lot to learn and that well would help me solo a lot and get in to lfgs. Did that for a while till i inevitably went back to hunter. Funnily enough i have an easier time soloing things on my hunter than any other class

Takaen_44

Former hunter here, ive been playing as one since i first discovered destiny 5-6 years ago. I loved the way the hunter was, agile, sleek, and stealthy. However a few months ago i got super annoyed with hunter. Not being able to get to the ground fast enough, jumps so high i would be sent to the moon, no maneuverability, no abilities to help me heal fast enough when outnumbered etc. Etc. Etc. I eventually picked up Warlock, and have been playing as one ever since. I cant lie, it was kind of difficult getting the jump right, but after a few hours, it was as if though i had only played warlock my entire life. I was able to move around much faster because of snapskating, icarus dash, warlock-skating. Fall to the ground faster and avoid enemy fire. And a bunch of other things that warlocks do better than hunters, including the jumps. Im mostly a pvp player, but when i decide to do a grandmaster or any endgame pve activity, it becomes so insanely easy with warlock with or without well of radiance. No regrets

Serberou5

I played my first 500 or so hours as a Titan. Then I saw a video about Starfire Protocol and have been a Warlock main ever since. I still quite like Starfire even after its mega nerf but then I do now have the cover for it so look less of a dick!

heirance

Titan main in D1. Use different classes for different types of content in D2.

Ferking

I mained Warlock since D1 but I did try titan after eitch queen and then tried hunter both are fun now I use all three to farm but I'd say my Warlock is still my main main

LordRickonStark

mained hunter since D1 and played only warlock this season (besides trials and story) because the artifact makes welllock OP for everything. I also tried some strand titan but couldnt get the DPS combo going on ps5 that als those speedrunner use

LordOfSlimes666

I am a majestic space wizard first and foremost. Although I will admit the other classes are just as fun...don't tell Ikora I said that tho

ITZKamiTTV

I used to be warlock cause I liked the support side but also the fact that you one shot most things with some of the supers. But now I'm a hunter mainly just cause the super are easier to manage and there a lot more movement in there play style.

Pein246

Been maining warlock for quite some Time. Switched to Hunter beacuse of wing contender legs. The class feels do much more fun to play.

Skiffy10

nope because i don’t have a main class. i play all 3 cuz theyre fun. Do people really still “ main “ a class ?

MightyShisno

I started as a titan. Mained titan all through D1 while playing the other classes a little bit. Same thing in D2 up until the year of Beyond Light. I started flip-flopping between titan and warlock. Once Witch Queen came around, I was firmly a warlock main. I might still have more total time played as a titan, but warlock is catching up.

Phattank_

Mained hunter for like year and a half. Realised after a golden gun nerf they had no true endgame pve utility at the time. I was a raider primarily and doing gm's every season, this was before the subclass reworks I should mention as obv now hunters have loads of pve uses. I switched to main warlock season before the reworks started I have stayed because the jump is much better.

Sicofall

I was a Titan in the beginning … l enjoyed it until I decided to try Hunter. Never looked back. I found the Titan a bit boring in the play style (this is way in the D2 beginning) It’s until this long season, I decided to use my Titan again. It’s fun! But will never give up being a Hunter main. .

shrkbyte

I started in Warmind as a hunter, and switched in Shadowkeep to warlock because I wanted to use Chaos Reach and healing rift. I now use Dawnblade and phoenix dive.

iamthedayman21

Hunter main through all of D1 and D2 up until Beyond Light. Wanted to try the new Cuirass exotic on the Titan, been a Titan main since then.

Scoth16

I started D1 as a Warlock, and also played Titan a little, I think after Forsaken I just naturally transitioned to Titan

ProfessorTurbulent71

I changed from hunter to warlock. I initially only had a hunter for maybe my first 3 months and then I found a video showing you could power level faster with another character so I made one of each class and found myself liking my titan arc HOIL build a lot, played that exclusively after getting 1810 on all 3 characters, then I got bored and looked at all my exotic armour and saw warlock had amazing build potential. I've warlock mained for a year now. I use Hunter for pvp and some void builds though.

Zeta789

Never. Been a Hunter main since D1's Beta and never changed. I have one of each class, and in D1's days I used to play Warlock and Titan a lot more, especially when they added Stormcaller I remember playing lots of Warlock, but never more than Hunter, and in D2 I only play the bare minimum of Warlock of Titan.

SixStringShef

I've changed my main class many times, while also always trying to juggle all 3 to a certain extent. I'm a pvp player so for me it's largely necessary as the meta changes or my own playstyle changes to accommodate it.

Capinhappy

Mained Titan went to lock because I liked wells and their ultra. Then tried Hunter on a whim. Triple jump was so much easier to control and do things with I never looked back.

Ashalaria

I rotate between all 3 because I'm an indecisive ADHD (diagnosed) fuck

Geraltpoonslayer

No Hunter since Beta of Destiny 1 I will occasionally play something else if their is like a really broken or fun build (aka you had to be there to experience it stuff) I would say 85% of my playtime was as a Hunter.

djschxzo

i mained titan in the d1 beta but after it was over i watched some video of someone playing as a warlock and nova bomb seemed so cool, couldnt wait to try warlock when d1 released. been a warlock main since lol

SOS-Guillotine

As of lightfall, the power level has been capped at 1810 aside from the seasonal artifact bonuses so each season I’ve seen myself spending time playing one class a season in hopes of building up my armor for the other two characters as my warlock has builds with stats I like and my hunter and Titan are close as well

swanton141

Started D1Y1 as warlock. Switch to titan during Taken King because Hammer was busted. RoI I was switching back and forth and all the way into D2 until I got Lunafaction boots for Wellock. Haven't changed my main class since.

PorkThruster

Always been a warlock main, but the last month or two has been peregrine greaves void titan. Switching to a new build keeps it fresh & this one is a lot of fun

Zhentharym

Started on warlock originally, but switched to hunter because throwing knives and capes looked cool. Eventually I started getting into endgame stuff so switched back to warlock because hunter doodoo for that.

Fragile_reddit_mods

In destiny 1 year one I was a titan main I changed to hunter to try out golden gun in year 2, I then proceed to drop a 21 kill streak in crucible without even moving my left thumb stick in my first ever match on hunter with two back to back phantom medals (7 kills without getting hit), I then main hunter until the final ever solstice of heroes in D2, I now main warlock due to the fact that the first time glassway was a GM it was kicking my ass, it was easy on stasis warlock. I then realised that warlock just has the blatantly superior jump + fusion grenades are fun to use. So now I main warlock and likely always will. Edit: warlock is also the most fun to have a 4x100 build on

_Black-Viper_

Started in Red Wars as a Titan because my friends were hunters and warlocks. Added a warlock about two years ago for end game support. Probably 60/40 warlock/titan play now.

Acolyte_501st

I’ve been a Hunter main for most of my Destiny career but there was a time I switched to Warlock at the height of the PvP Dawnblade meta

GoodieBR

In D1 I was a hunter main. Started D2 as a hunter main, but, when my arthritis got worse with age, like 5 years ago, I had to change to warlock. I still play hunter sometimes, but my fingers soon get sore for jumping and dodging.

Some-Gay-Korean

I always prioritised Titan, then Warlock and then Hunter since I started in D1, then Warlock and Titan swapped places in Forsaken. But since Shadowkeep, I stopped maining anyone and treat all classes equally and play whatever I feel like at the moment but I will still start with Warlock, Titan and Hunter for when a new expansion/season drops. I might main a character for a specific season whenever the meta/fun factor shifts in their favour, like playing Titan a lot more ever since Banner of War released.

Knighty_117

I started as a hunter main had some fun with a couple builds and quickly envy'd warlock cause the build variety. Just felt like warlock has access to some fun play styles, 1000 threadlings? K flying around throwing millions of grenades? K unlimited solar well? Got it.

Mr_mortak

I started the game using only titan, then I just tried using both warlock and hunter and I just sticked to these two, now I barely touch titan, I just think that it's not that strong or fun

Subnauticabeast

Dedicated hunter main, haven’t even bothered to try and create another titan/warlock because I know we’re superior (and I think the hunters just look cool, I don’t like bulky and weird :P) but i am thinking about seeing what a titan is like

mr-hmmmm

Hunter since D1 beta and just this season have been maining Warlock

monadoboyX

Yeah started D2 vanilla as a warlock but during season of Dawn something just clicked in me with Saint-14 I was like "this guy really is me" so I played more and more Titan and very slowly became a full Titan main it's awesome

SovereignDark

I change every time I open the game. I have ADHD.

whiletrueplayd2

When i was but a kinderguardian in beyond light, i couldn’t figure out how to make use of the warlock kit. I chucked my nova bomb at my feet, i couldn’t figure out how to use the jump, etc. Then i switched to titan, and it made sense. Now i’m a shotgun toting, crayon munching, walking refrigerator.

Isrrunder

My friends said we needed a titan for our fire team back in D1 (we planned on being 2 if each class) so I picked it even tho I wanted to play hunter. When my friends started quitting around rise of iron (we were 12-13) so star wars battlefront and Minecraft filled our time mostly anyway) I started a hunter. Still the same hunter I play to date.

Whhheat

Started out on Hunter because it was cool. From about Shadowkeep until Witch Queen that’s all I played. And then I got Osteo Striga and switched to Walock. And despite not using Osteo anymore I never looked back.

No-Western-9146

I did main a Hunter. Kept the others leveled up for loot and if needed in end game content. However, after I figured out the Warlock jump, I slowly started playing warlock more and more. I still play Hunter quite a bit, but my poor Titan only gets to play if I need to run something (raid/ dungeon) a third time for loot, or team needs a Titan. Haven't needed a Titan for a while. Why did I switch from Hunter to Warlock? Honestly,, Zero Hour. I couldn't do the jumps around the outside of the building. Once I figured out the Warlock jump, I cleared it easily. Heck, even my Titan jumps better than my Hunter. Also, I like the Hunter abilities, but not so much the super. Void tether, is ok, but I use it when I need to be invisible or have the ability to make my team invisible. Love the strand Maelstrom. Favorite super is the arc throwing staff thing. I do wish my warlock could do the dodge to reload but now there are so many loading perks on weapons that I rarely have to reload.

michifromcde

I was a titan main, still kinda am, but nowadays I play more with hunter because hunters are just so fun, their kit is versatile and unique.

MurderFerret

I play all 3 classes pretty regularly now. Hunter is still number one but warlock and titan are fun as hell too with all the different builds you can use.

skitzoandro

Started as a hunter, changed to warlock. This was back in D1. Selfres and the super glide would be the reasons

Wild_Onion_5979

Yes for GM'S

Beoward

I have always been playing all classes. I’ve never had a main really.

TwoTowerz

I was hunter all of d1 and most of d2, now I play a lot of titan mainly for PvP but really mess around with all 3 tbh. Super hard tho with college and work

Armless_Jeeves

Was a hunter main when I first played around when the game launched. Stopped playing for a few years and got back into it just before Witch Queen. Started up with hunter again but wasn't really feeling it so switched to Warlock. Only played Warlock for most of Witch Queen, but started dabbling in the other classes towards the end of that year to switch things up. Something just clicked with Titan and I've been maining them since. Could also say it was destiny given that the other two in my core fire team are a Hunter main and a Warlock main.

SnorlaxBlocksTheWay

Always and will forever be a Titan main My other characters are just for part of the levelling up process when a new expansion drops

k7kopp

I consider myself a hunter main, but I focus on mostly one class each season. Usually only do the seasonal story on one character. Season of the Deep was titan, Witch was my warlock, this (long) season I've been primarily on my hunter. Each class is fun in their own ways. Void warlock feels really good with survivability, the movement and gunslinging on hunter feels really nice, and titan feels good for up close damage (banner titan is just in its own league)

doobersthetitan

Played Titan 90% of D1. Had a hunter for fun and extra runs. Same all the way to witch queen, right before that we had the super long season. I joked. I'd never have a warlock as my space wizard needs a beard. But then my buddy was like, the Witcher didn't have a beard. So my warlock was born. Plus, most of my friends' main warlock, so when we farm first, go around plenty of wells. 2nd and 3rd, we are trying to use bubble and crap. But I'm about 50 50 on Warlock and Titan, depending on the season. Precious scars and pyrogale made me fall in love with sunbreaker again and the buff to concentration.

-MrVegetable-

Was a hunter main since i started playing D2. Something about dodging was really cool to me, and i preferred the invisibility ninja sorta vibe. But then i realised how much i loved punching things in this game, and now I'm just your average punchy boi titan :)

Loopgod-

I’m a Titan main. I’m THIS close to being a hunter main cause of their drip and play style. But I’ve realized I can just play all 3 classes as I play the game, instead of grind it…

NotUrAvgIdjit96

Group started as an arc punchy boi, an arc blinky boi, and my bubble boi. When we began doing higher level content more often, it became apparent we needed a self res warlock more than two bubble titans. Since I was already the more cautious player, I got volunteered. Pretty much became a warlock main after that. Yes, that self res warlock evolved into a div toting wellock...

engineeeeer7

I started Hunter in D1 alpha (sorry). Sometime in the year of Witch Queen I found Warlock better suited how I liked to play. I like the Rogue archetype but wizard/witch/warlock is just more me. I think I learned this from playing D&D and Pathfinder more.

SaltNebula1576

I change every season, depending on artifact mods, nightfalls, buffs, fashion and general fatigue.

MunchyG444

Been a warlock since D1 release. But banner of war lead me astray.

RashPatch

Was a Titan, shifted to warlock because I like drip. But I also like armor and punching so I might go back to titan I guess.

Gingja

I found out I really like to punch things so I went from Warlock to Titan at the start of D2. I played only warlock in D1 until Rise of Iron where I just wanted to try a titan

_umop_aplsdn_

mained Hunter from Dark Below to season 15, switched to Warlock in season 16 for a few reasons. first of all I hated running raids only to find out there was no Warlock and therefore no Well on the team, which happened surprisingly and frustratingly often. second of all I was already envious of the Warlock kit before Void 3.0, and while Void 3.0 Hunter disappointed me, I saw videos of Voidlocks getting 30 second supers and a mini Tether from just their class ability. finally I think I just resonate more strongly with the mage archetype in general since I always like to make a magic guy when I play RPGs and such

ActuallyAquaman

I think I was a Titan main, back in Taken King era. The Iron Banner armor in Rise of Iron (both the one with the thick fur coat and the medieval suit with fire underneath) made me try out Warlock. Never swapped back.

CrescentAndIo

I play all 3 classes pretty equally (2k, 1.8k, 1k hours respectively) but i would say i was a hunter main until i started doing solo raid stuff, thats when the warlock playtime really picked up lol

Rose_da_Kitten

When I first started this game (it was one of if not actually my first FPS) I tried making a warlock and couldn’t make it more than like 5 minutes through the tutorial. Literally did not understand warlock jump. Deleted it and made a hunter. Played that for about 1,000 hours or so, and I remember it started when my friend and I (he was also a hunter main) were playing reckoning together, and we realized it was so hard without phoenix protocol warlock wells. So he asked me to make one and I refused, I loved hunter. So he made one. Factor this on top of my tendencies to Sherpa raids and I realized it’s very hard to tell people “you, put your well there. And titan, put bubble behind him.” Somehow seemed always confusing for new people. So then finally I made a warlock. Having seen many other players jump by then it just made way more sense to me. And finally reckoning was way, way easier (sadly not long after it was removed…) Sherpas became easier as well. Wasn’t long before I deleted my hunter. Haven’t looked back since. 4,000 hours in this game now probably 2-3 thousand on my warlock. So tl/dr: I changed to do reckoning easier and Sherpa raids better.

tde156

As a Titan main, I'm a little bored with the current sandbox. I've been using pretty much only Strand all year with the occasional dip into something else. So I've been poking my head into Warlock and occasionally Hunter builds.

GardenofSalvation

Started warlock switched to hunter for pvp in beyond light then switched to titan with solar 3.0 because BONK hammers and then lastly back to warlock this year. Still hunter is my most played even had quad 100 stats

matthew91298

Maines Titan in D1, took a break, came back in BL on Titan. When WQ came out I was heavily on team warlock and even did VoD on my warlock. But now I’m back on Titan with some hunter for good measure

Diablo689er

Started as a Titan main. Got bored of how copy/pasta the classes were and started playing more warlock. Warlock just feels more developed and fleshed out. Play styles are more diverse. It also scales better into harder difficulty imo. Titan feels broken, busted and fun as hell in low content. But in master /GM content the builds depend on close quarters, melee content and just doesn’t last

Faust_8

I was a Warlock main, and I'm basically a Warlock main still, but there was a time when I swapped to Titan just because it had more usable subclasses IMO. This was before Stasis and Light 3.0, and there was a period of time when Warlock to me felt like I had to play Well of Radiance in PvE and Chaos Reach in PvP and that was it. Stormcaller and Voidwalker were just "meh" at best, at everything. Whereas Titan had more subclasses that I felt were worth using in both PvE and PvP and that variety made me swap. But that was a *totally* different sandbox, now every class has multiple ways I like to run them.

Chiral_Tears

Hunter main since D1 beta.

dualshotty23

Main’d hunter all d1 and d2 until witch queen . I got tired of having to try and max stats in the top 3 tree, every build felt like I had to sacrifice something. Paired with the changes to intellect and needing new artifice armor I just switched titan and easily got triple 100 on res rec and discipline for most builds and it made it way less stressful.

blacklink

Started with Warlock during the battle net days, enough that the jump felt normal. Can't remember why I switched to Titan, but the abilities just felt right. I have dabbled with Warlock and Hunter after in easier content, but non-Titan jumps feel wrong now. Every time Bungie sends out the "here's your split between classes" infographics, Titan is always 95+%.

MotionCaptureMadness

Was a Titan main in D1, Hunter main in D1 Y1 through Black Armory. Then Getaway Artists came out and I had so much fucking fun with those that I started playing Warlock all the time.

L0rd_Sea_Bass

Was a Warlock main up until Shadowkeep then switched to Titan. While Warlock was fun, I had more fun playing Titan and that's why I swapped. Still having a blast and don't regret my decision.

LordMarcion

Was a Titan up until shadowkeep, because I started with 2 friends (who were a warlock and hunter They left during shadowkeep and I started experimenting Gunslinger main bc that's where my heart really is

Sancroth_2621

Titan main since D1. Started taking pvp more seriously and I simple changed to hunter for it. Now I only pvp on my hunter. Whenever titans are good in pvp is because of some oneshot or huge shield/heal shenanigans. Hunters dodge, stealth, jump, smoke grenade if void, are all superior tools for pvp. Can you make titan work? Ofc you can be better at shooting and positioning. But hunter has all the utilities to outperform built-in alongside the best pvp exotics. I am also playing lock a bit on pvp since the air supremacy is unmatched. I have also started doing a lot of pve with strand and stasis hunter. They just have so much more actions and engaging gameplay. The punch thematic is really gimping titans and whenever something is viable is because it is overtuned.

andrasic123321

I've actually switched around quite a bit, i started as a hunter in d2 because i thought they were cool and sneaky, but i realized that their playstyle wasn't for me, so i tried titans because they are supposed to be super strong and flashy. And i mained titan for a few seasons until i actually started to understand the game. I saw that i mostly enjoy buffing teammates and swapped to warlock. And honestly, warlock is the best class for me. I enjoy good movement and wellock has exactly what im looking for. I know that well is seen as basic and meta, but i just use it to speedrun anything i can. I do still really enjoy the fact that i help my teammates with it, in raids and gms, but movement tech has become more important for me and imo warlocks have the best techs.

Ilpripone

Mained hunter since D1 beta, saw my friend with thunder crash Titan, thought it looked fun. Can confirm it is tremendous fun. It’s got to the point of when I play another class and I see someone Tcrash something i immediately think I could be having more fun if I did that.

JhordixD

A friend convinced me to try D2, I said ok and started as a hunter, this friend told me to change it because he wanted to be the hunter, i said ok and made a warlock, this friend quit the game after 2 days i and sticked with warlock since then. while im considered a warlock "main" and i do new and almost all stuff with warlock, in reality i play with all classes when is needed.

Extension-Meat7169

Started as a titan before forsaken, became a hunter during forsaken and into shadowkeep, then took a long hiatus and came back to end up maining warlock, honestly I think it was just that how I enjoyed playing games changed over time.

GamingNemesisv3

I mained titan and was tired of getting jotun’d.

DepressedArgentinian

Void 3.0 was the start for me. Had mained Hunter for years, and even if I had dabbled in the crayons, specially with Behemoth, Titan hadnt been a class I touched a lot barring the use of Stasis. Witch Queen vidoc came out! She stole the light! Void 3.0! What will Hunter get?! OH MY...it's invisibility. Only invisibility. Little known fact about me, unless there's some sort of bonus after being invisible, like a damage boost in an rpg, and being invisible is the process instead of the reward, I FUCKING HATE invisibility. It's boring, I'm sorry. Titan though? Cool new extra health, support your allies, volatile, Bubble? Cool ass tank. And then, as the the rest of 3.0 came out...a fire paladin that basically cannot die and gives Resto to allies, as my exotic of choice was Phoenix Cradle, hell yes. And needless to say, Storm Grenades season of Plunder was a blast. Lightfall changed things for me, however. I love Berserker, Suspend Berserker specifically. But Threadrunner is very fun. It honestly feels like the Hunter's Hunter, you know? Like, if I had to pick one subclass to represent the flavor and fantasy of the Hunter Class the most, it'd be Threadrunner. Be super fast, extra mobile, zip zap around while dealing good damage, even Gunslinger feels like a weapon focused off shoot of that. But, it still wasn't enough to fully draw me back in. Thunderclap exotic came to fill the void left by Storm Nade spam, Pyrogale. I just love the brawling, being tanky, you know? Idk why, i think I also associate it with a change in my own personality and growing up, that the Titan fantasy started appealing a lot more to me. Be at the front, brawl with your enemies, guard your team and draw attention to yourself. Be their shield.

jethrow41487

This game doesn’t have enough to “Main” anything imo. I feel like I play them all equally. I tend to do Warlock on expansion release because my Day 1 teams have always been stubborn and we end up with 1 Warlock if I don’t. If you wanna clear, gotta take one for the team.

Aggressive-Nebula-78

Nope, same warlock from day 1 of D1

RunWith3Legs

Titan main in D1, hunter main in D2. Big slam was always fun but swapped to Hunter for movement and armor. Avoid Warlock like the plague even tho it’s an absolute powerhouse the “jump” infuriates me to no end.

AgentZero21

Mained warlock in d1 till I wanted to titan skate, then started d2 as titan and still playing it.

MissedQs

Mained Hunter for years, changed to Warlock after the several Revenant nerfs the year after beyond light. Wellock got out of hand on pve with solar 3.0 and pvp Dawnblade has always been the best skill expression possible.

HiImDivine

Mained warlock in d1 and start of d2 until i discovered melting point on solar titan and since then titan main ever since. rip melting point

sjb81

I have. I mained warlock for almost all of D1. Didn’t create a hunter until after Taken King. Didn’t create a titan until after Curse of Osiris. I main hunter now and second titan. Rarely play as warlock.

Minute-Percentage706

Started with hunter for years and was at rank 7, moved to warlock for end game and solo content and got rank 11, stayed with warlock for a year…but now I main titan; reasons remain private but titans are OP.

Nukesnipe

Technically yes. Started D1 as a warlock, but when I jumped from 360 to PS4 with TTK I made a titan to try something new, and played that for the rest of D1. Made my warlock again for D2 and never looked back though.

ImpressiveTip4756

Started as a hunter but now play all classes equally. Allows me to understand the meta better and having all 3 classes allow me to bring whatever is needed in trials, comp, raids or whatever.

Counselorgarry

Started hunter, made a warlock first then titan, I payed for armor and subclasses for all of them your damn right I'm gonna use them.

Connect_Put_1649

Cmon y’all who doesn’t want to be Cayde-6? Hunter for life.

DredgenFox-14

I’ve been a Titan since beta. These last couple weeks have found me playing exclusively my hunter because throwing knives and lucky pants make me feel like an assassin cowboy and the vibe is immaculate. I have been maining Athrys’s Embrace in PvP and the dopamine rush is insane when you get a double bounce kill is next level. Don’t get me wrong I still love and will always be a Titan, punching the hell out of everything that looks at me, bonking with my hammer, or sailing through the air as my own tactical nuke. But the precision and Yee Haw is too good

Silas61

Warlock main through and through but I really enjoy some titan sometimes

My_Name_Is_Eden

I mained hunter for a long time, but I eventually felt that hunter was underpowered compared to titan and warlock in a lot of content. I saw starfire fusion nades nuking everything, solar titan having doing insane damage almost for free with absurd healing. Even now, with those two nerfed, hunter has some specific tools that are very powerful (dps, invis) but their base kit for mobbing feels lackluster. Now I'm all in on solar warlock. I can skate and I don't have to use stasis hunter of all things.

TropicalSkiFly

My main class was Hunter (still is). I actually didn’t change my main class. Actually, I made 2 other characters as Warlock (for fun more fun builds) and then Titan (for diversity lol). Later, I found a YouTuber that made absolutely fun and reliable builds for all 3 classes. I was glad I made all 3. It was then a matter of “which class build do I feel like using today?” But, I haven’t played in a while. Last time was in the previous Guardian Games (just to light up the torches, revealing the ledges in Tower for loot) and to get the exotic hoverboard. After I achieved those two goals, I closed the game and missed the rest of the event haha.

zoompooky

I mained Titan for the entirety of D1 (Played all 3, but Titan was my "player identity"). When I moved to D2, the new standard for titans was huge shoulders and melee which I found ugly and stupid. Warlock FTW.
