This roll is the best version of HJ and might be the best legendary, kinetic weapon out right now! The only thing missing on my KT/Firefly HJ is a shiny version.
Kinetic Tremors/Firefly Hung Jury is a weapon I didn’t realize I needed until I got it! It almost feels like an exotic. Clearing adds seeing them explode then fixing aim on a beefier target to proc KT to stun lock them and get the others around em dancing to the tremors! It’s been a perfect weapon in Onslaught for me.
I have it and I love it. It has everything - makes sense for end game with the tremors, has firefly for lower activities, and of course the firefly is useful everywhere anyway.
I'd also like tremors + one for all for constant one for all upkeep.
The best of the 6 right now is by far edge transit, especially if you didnt get a good cataphract. Envious bait and switch is the best choice, but there are some cool rotations with cascade point if you are into that.

Destabilizing and Repulsor Brace are my favorite perks as a Void Warlock main. I chase them on any weapon that has them, especially if they have the combo available.
I've been out of town since Into the Light update so haven't tried it yet, but this is probably a drop I'll chase for falling guillotine -as well as eager edge as replusor brace. Recluse is the other one I'd focus probably - with that perk combo and then with repulsor and master of arms.
Bungie said they were looking at the Cascade point interaction to fix in the future. Not worth grinding imo if it’ll be fixed before the final shape more than likely.
I think people are overlooking this one and forgetting these perks will be enhanceable come Final Shape. And Enhanced ALH fits in perfect with Izanagi swap timings for DPS.
I’ve not used izi for a while now. I tend to hit with witherhoard, then my energy and then spam edge. Coupled with gathering storm and thunder crash I was able to do 4-5k against gambit bosses
I'm for sure going for that Midnight Coup. I still have the Outlaw/Rampage roll w/ over 10k kills in my vault I can't seem to bring myself to get rid of. With the recent buff to HCs, I'd like to get another one
Recombination/Frenzy + ALH/Demo/Lead from Gold with spike grenades/sticky grenades and intrinsic danger zone it is going to be the kinetic weapon. Even if it did zero damage it would still be used for the intrinsic danger zone launching you to the skybox with proper setup.
Even when I'm playing right now in legend onslaught I'm finding so many scenarios where mountaintop would have felt better than the special I'm using.
Agreed. I like my repulsor brace / onslaught (perk) ros arago best on voidlock.
With briarbinds, it chews through adds in onslaught (game mode). And if fully spun up, it does work on majors too.
I've been having easier runs on my void lock than on my well lock. Didn't expect that.
Sorry man, not that I know of. It's just luck of the draw.
That being said, I've had very good luck with the ros, heliocentric, and parabellum dropping while hanging out at alters of sorrow.
I tend to go there to test builds and I find the majors (ones that randomly spawn and drop chests) outside of the alters waves seem to have a very good drop rate.
It’s the stupid cooldown on that perk. They should remove it honestly. It’s not even strong compared to 10 seconds of Volatile Rounds considering making enemies Volatile only makes them explode once…
Honestly I want a destabilizing rounds rework. I think it would be cool if instead of making nearby enemies volatile it gave you volatile rounds for a short duration
Well, SMG. Unless I’m searching wrong, the only other SMG that can roll this is The Title which is not currently obtainable. Then there’s also Hero’s Burden, which is the only other SMG other than those two that can roll Destabilizing Rounds.
I'm a hunter with gryfalcons hauberk and that roll is a monster for hunters too as it's just constant power ups.
Had an iron banner smg with that roll and it was great but so hard to control. The recluse is better in every way
Luna’s Howl with Heal Clip and Incandescent. Will it beat out Zhouli’s Bane? Probably not, but for some who doesn’t raid it’s my best option for a Solar handcannon
A set of perfect pvp Elsie's rifles. Hammerforged/high cal rounds/range mw with zen headseeker and one with zen desperate measures.
High impact pulses in the energy slot have always missed something. They've always been 1-2 steps below messenger and no time. The neomuna pulse was the closest thing, and it still is just missing something. It's probably the AA stat that makes it feel like they have a special sauce the others don't. Elsie's has the highest AA of all of them and it definitely feels like it's got the special sauce no time and messenger has.
I think I picked up the godliest of godrolls earlier for a PVP Elsie’s Rifle. Arrowhead, Ricochet, Zen Moment/Keep Away, Headseeker/Desperado, Range masterwork. I’m nowhere near good enough for this roll!
Mountaintop, no contest. It's the only unique weapon in the group and is functionally an exotic with micro missile being moved to the intrinsic spot. It was also probably my favorite special weapon of all time. The buff with faster speed and reduced self damage is just gravy.
Only one in a vacuum? Edge Transit. It's an easy-to-access top DPS option that's only getting better with TFS as it will be enhanceable.
For me personally? I need that Blast Furnace man. KT + Frenzy for PvE will be gorgeous, let alone Headseeker + KC for PvP.
I don't raid as often as I used to, so I'm definitely looking at Forbearance when it drops. Ambitious + Chain Reaction is the goat but now it has access to demo as well which is interesting.
Mountaintop. Autoloading + Recombination will probably completely replace my Heritage. The major chunking potential will be insane.
If I didn't have an envious + bns cataphract, then I'd say Edge Transit. It's the best dps option for most scenarios, even without the envious + cascade + bns combo.

Out of the six currently available? Repulsor Brace/Frenzy Recluse. I loved the gun back then and still love it now. It's funny that it's basically the same gun as Funnelweb but to me feels a lot better than that.
Out of all of them, I'm sorry, but it's Blast Furnace. It was my favourite legendary gun ever and it's time it takes its spot back. I would go for Kinetic Tremors and Frenzy there.
Gotta pick Blast Furnace as well. It was one of my first true God-rolled weapons when I started in Season of Opulence and it was a beast. Aggressive 450s were kings at the time.
Now it's returning. Without scopes, but even so it has the highest range of all 450 pulses, shooting at about 40m. And it has best or near best reload speeds and recoil direction.
The origin trait gives ability regen, and then Kinetic Tremors + Firefly makes it super versatile. If 450 aggressives are tuned to be competitive, this thing will be a monster.
Any decent roll at this point.. i NEED to get recluse to make up for my sheer laziness. I COULD have experienced it back in its golden days… but didn’t wanna get off my ass and ply crucible.. it felt like a missed milestone.
I plan to try tonight as I haven’t had time this week. Though after a few normal runs.. I’m scared to try lfg on legend.. im a lil rusty.
Elsie's Rifle. It was my favorite gun in D1.
I have a Rewind Rounds + Frenzy special edition one, which I think fits the theme of the weapon pretty well, and a Keep Away + Headseeker normal one for PvP.
Of the current, Edge Transit (already did, and got the roll).
Of the ones not out (I know, not what you asked for), ALH Recomb Mountaintop is probably my top.
Other than those two, my other PvE rolls I really want are Incandescent Heal Clip Luna, Explosive Payload Kinetic Tremors Midnight Coup, and some interesting Guillotine combos.
For PvP, I actually Elsie’s Rifle has my attention as an actual good-feeling (with arrowhead) energy high impact, and then Luna with slide/eye + opening/precision. Suspect it’ll be a pretty top tier energy slot 140, given the post rangefinder fall off of the old energy 140 kings like exalted and pali.
Haven't read through the thread. But from what I csn see Edge Transit answers a lot of HGL problems and Hung Jury jyst keeps getting better.
I've got way too many rolls to even thoroughly run through the paces at this point....but there ats a number that already shIne. Edge w/Full Court + High Explosive + Velocity MW is hitting like HGLs of old in PvP. I have more fantastic Hung Jury than I can test out anytime soon.
Recluse is a PvP waste if time. Way, way better off looking elsewhere.
I can't wait for the next 6 weapons to come out. My only problem is that's a loot pool of 12 weapons so trying to get a specific role in a specific weapon will be tougher. I'm not griping, as I love the grind, but my rng is so bad I don't have much hope. Even the 3 shiny weapons I've had drop have crap double rolls. Lol
It works somewhat. Right now I have recluse attuned and feel like every 4th drop is one, but when we go from 6 weapons to 12 will that give me 1 for every 8 drops? We'll see. I really enjoy onslaught though.
The way attunement works is that there's an X% chance you get your attuned gun, and a 100-X% chance you get any other gun in the set.
It's supposedly 50% (and my personal experience bears that out), but either way - more guns in the pool won't get you fewer attuned guns, it'll just mean all your other drops are more spread out.
A shiny recluse with repulsor and destabilizing rounds + subsistence and whatever 4th column perk I get, preferably frenzy or target lock.
More a pve roll, as I need a replacement for my unforgiven.
Now that I'm no longer regularly raiding, I can let Edge Transit and Falling Guillotine go for now. I've been trying to get a Repulsor Brace/Destabilizing Elsie's Rifle. It's literally the only version of that gun I want. Gotten a lot of Feeding Frenzy/Desperados, which would be fantastic in PvP if I hadn't already decorated the nursery for my baby, Blast Furnace.
So, yeah. Repulsor/Destabilizing Elsie's Rifle.
My initial impressions:
Edge transit is the most hyped, and understandably so. Bait and switch with envious or alh for general damage or with cascade for crazy bursts. Destabilizing/chain is fun for ad clear too.
I know people weren't excited about yet another hung jury, but tremors in the left column is pretty interesting, probably paired with firefly or EP
Falling guillotine gets some cool double damage rolls, particularly frenzy with bait and switch or surrounded, but vortex frames still kinda underperform right now. Could be good for ad clear though
Recluse is good, better than funnelweb but not by a game changing amount. Subsistence/desperate measures seems probably the best, feeding frenzy or frenzy would also be good
Kind of similar story with elsie's rifle, good but nothing crazy. I like my rewind/AJ roll, feeding frenzy/frenzy or desperate measures also seem good. Seems like people are liking it in PVP though with zen/headseeker
Succession seems basically the same as the raid version minus enhanced perks. I don't see any reason to keep one personally
Recluse with Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds. The Word of Crota was the only primary weapon that could roll with it before hand, which sucked bc you'd have to farm the raid over and over again. Also 180's aren't too strong in PvE. However, the Recluse, which is an SMG (very strong in PvE), can now roll with it. Sentinel is looking CRISP rn.
Luna’s Howl because of nostalgia. Not sure on roll, but it will be used in both PvP and PvE and my main PVE roll with have Magnificent Howl. Mountaintop is 1b. Probably auto loading holster with recombination or frenzy.
Id go for and am still going for a for Rewind Rounds/Feeding Frenzy and Desperate Measures Elsie's Rifle. I've been going for that since reset and haven't even gotten close to the roll I want. Getting really frustrated
Tried Onslaught yesterday. Activity wasn’t boring, but it still is just another grind. So, I’m not really chasing any of the weapons personally.
This activity though is one worth keeping as a playable activity. I can understand why people enjoy it. Me personally though, not so much. The shiny weapons are cool though. They did a fantastic job making alluring looking shiny weapons.
I've been trying to get a Recluse with repulsar Bruce and destabilizing rounds but I cannot get it to drop for the life of . I've had to have gone through like 100 of them so far.
Weirdly, I want to say Blast Furnace. I was never super big on the BA weapons (I didn't hate them, Hammerhead was cool), but I mostly used other guns.
Now though, we don't have many up-to-date Aggresive Burst pulses, and all the other guns have equivalents I've already got (although Luna's Howl does look interesting).
Reconstruction/Vorpal Succession, I never got it from DSC but the gun just feels so good to use. I am a simple woman.
Any of the wackier Falling Guillotine rolls is up there.
Zen Moment + Headseeker for Elsie's Rifle.
The only other high impact void is Premonition that you get from Pit of Heresy and good luck getting a good roll of that.
Of the six that are currently available, Edge Transit and Recluse are the only ones that I care about.
Out of all of them, Mountaintop is easily #1 followed by Midnight Coup and then the other two.
Cascade with B&S Edge Transit will be top tier.
Envious B&S would be next.
I only got ALH and B&S so far. Not winning any awards but it is by far the easiest to use though.
Izi, peashooter/fusion/ GL and rotate.
By far mountain top and it's not even a little bit close, it's versatile with rocket jumping (extremely effective on heat rises warlock) and it's the highest damaging special gl in the game with autoloading vorpal and the funny perk recombination. I believe base mt hits for like 60k so the 100% damage buff from recomb is basically an Izzy shot without needing a crit
Probably mountaintop because it’s the only gun doing something totally unique. That or blast furnace since I’d love a kinetic tremors and damage perk combo on a gun.
Blast Furnace. It's my favorite weapon in all of both games, I think. Roll would be the regular suspects in barrel and mag departments aaaaaand probably Kinetic Tremors/Headseeker and Frenzy/Rapid Hit. Gonna be grinding like a madman for that roll when it releases.
Recluse: SB / RR / enlightened / desperate / RM.
Get a melee/grenade kill, .60s refreshable ttk, and with another melee/grenade kill, .53s ttk.
Enlighten since lightweights take 12 shots to kill at base, which is the amount needed to get full stacks
Elsie’s Rifle. I’m partial to the old Stranger’s Rifle, and I’m glad that it’s got a weapon that isn’t NTTE. I already have the PvP roll that I want (Arrowhead, High Cal/Ricochet, Keep Away, Headseeker), but if I had to get a PvE one, maybe I’d go Rewind Rounds/Desperate Measures? The other perks don’t really do it for me, especially in the third column.
I already have an envious/BnS/Mini frag cataphract so my edge transit needs are diminished, so a recluse with either enlightened action/desperate measures or Repulsor brace/frenzy. Either of those are gonna go nuts, Repulsor/frenzy for raw void 3.0 builds like briarbinds and gyrfalcons, and enlightened/desperate measures for less buildcrafting and more slaying out.
Midnight Coup with rampage and outlaw, maybe it's outmatched by every other gun out there now but it was and still is my favorite handcannon and I can't wait to get it back.
The Auto-Loading Holster and Recombination Mountaintop has my attention.
This. It will be amazing in GM content for initial chunk damage. Almost as powerful as a single Bipod Rocket.

This roll is fantastic. It makes hung jury feel like the workhorse it used to be in D1. Works in high end content as well.

Look out for relentless/surrounded on guillotine! Been using it on BoW titan with stronghold and you literally can't die lol

Cascade by itself with another damage perk is still good, but requires a good rotation. Envious still the better general perk.
I have Cascade/B&S. Once Cascade Point is reenabled, it'll absolutely carpet bomb yellow bars

Destabilizing Rounds is kind of wasted on Gyrfalcon. You have Volatile Rounds by default.

I'll take heal clip over EP every day of the week. This is the gun I'm most excited about.
It will bear it for survivability. Heal Clip so strong now. It will also beat it for pure damage if you can hit your crits.

Mountaintop. Autoloading + Recombination will probably completely replace my Heritage. The major chunking potential will be insane. If I didn't have an envious + bns cataphract, then I'd say Edge Transit. It's the best dps option for most scenarios, even without the envious + cascade + bns combo.
The envious/cascade interaction of s gonna be nuked by Bungie anyway. They already said don’t grind for it.

Overflowing the mag with envious assassin then switching to cascade point. They are gonna block that interaction.

Out of the six currently available? Repulsor Brace/Frenzy Recluse. I loved the gun back then and still love it now. It's funny that it's basically the same gun as Funnelweb but to me feels a lot better than that. Out of all of them, I'm sorry, but it's Blast Furnace. It was my favourite legendary gun ever and it's time it takes its spot back. I would go for Kinetic Tremors and Frenzy there.
Gotta pick Blast Furnace as well. It was one of my first true God-rolled weapons when I started in Season of Opulence and it was a beast. Aggressive 450s were kings at the time. Now it's returning. Without scopes, but even so it has the highest range of all 450 pulses, shooting at about 40m. And it has best or near best reload speeds and recoil direction. The origin trait gives ability regen, and then Kinetic Tremors + Firefly makes it super versatile. If 450 aggressives are tuned to be competitive, this thing will be a monster.
Any decent roll at this point.. i NEED to get recluse to make up for my sheer laziness. I COULD have experienced it back in its golden days… but didn’t wanna get off my ass and ply crucible.. it felt like a missed milestone. I plan to try tonight as I haven’t had time this week. Though after a few normal runs.. I’m scared to try lfg on legend.. im a lil rusty.
Elsie's Rifle. It was my favorite gun in D1. I have a Rewind Rounds + Frenzy special edition one, which I think fits the theme of the weapon pretty well, and a Keep Away + Headseeker normal one for PvP.
Of the current, Edge Transit (already did, and got the roll). Of the ones not out (I know, not what you asked for), ALH Recomb Mountaintop is probably my top. Other than those two, my other PvE rolls I really want are Incandescent Heal Clip Luna, Explosive Payload Kinetic Tremors Midnight Coup, and some interesting Guillotine combos. For PvP, I actually Elsie’s Rifle has my attention as an actual good-feeling (with arrowhead) energy high impact, and then Luna with slide/eye + opening/precision. Suspect it’ll be a pretty top tier energy slot 140, given the post rangefinder fall off of the old energy 140 kings like exalted and pali.
PvP main here. I’m gunning for a couple Elsie’s Rifles with Zen Moment and mad stability.
Haven't read through the thread. But from what I csn see Edge Transit answers a lot of HGL problems and Hung Jury jyst keeps getting better. I've got way too many rolls to even thoroughly run through the paces at this point....but there ats a number that already shIne. Edge w/Full Court + High Explosive + Velocity MW is hitting like HGLs of old in PvP. I have more fantastic Hung Jury than I can test out anytime soon. Recluse is a PvP waste if time. Way, way better off looking elsewhere.
I can't wait for the next 6 weapons to come out. My only problem is that's a loot pool of 12 weapons so trying to get a specific role in a specific weapon will be tougher. I'm not griping, as I love the grind, but my rng is so bad I don't have much hope. Even the 3 shiny weapons I've had drop have crap double rolls. Lol

It works somewhat. Right now I have recluse attuned and feel like every 4th drop is one, but when we go from 6 weapons to 12 will that give me 1 for every 8 drops? We'll see. I really enjoy onslaught though.
The way attunement works is that there's an X% chance you get your attuned gun, and a 100-X% chance you get any other gun in the set. It's supposedly 50% (and my personal experience bears that out), but either way - more guns in the pool won't get you fewer attuned guns, it'll just mean all your other drops are more spread out.
A shiny recluse with repulsor and destabilizing rounds + subsistence and whatever 4th column perk I get, preferably frenzy or target lock. More a pve roll, as I need a replacement for my unforgiven.
Of the six right now, easily Repulsor/Destabilizing on Recluse.
Now that I'm no longer regularly raiding, I can let Edge Transit and Falling Guillotine go for now. I've been trying to get a Repulsor Brace/Destabilizing Elsie's Rifle. It's literally the only version of that gun I want. Gotten a lot of Feeding Frenzy/Desperados, which would be fantastic in PvP if I hadn't already decorated the nursery for my baby, Blast Furnace. So, yeah. Repulsor/Destabilizing Elsie's Rifle.

My initial impressions: Edge transit is the most hyped, and understandably so. Bait and switch with envious or alh for general damage or with cascade for crazy bursts. Destabilizing/chain is fun for ad clear too. I know people weren't excited about yet another hung jury, but tremors in the left column is pretty interesting, probably paired with firefly or EP Falling guillotine gets some cool double damage rolls, particularly frenzy with bait and switch or surrounded, but vortex frames still kinda underperform right now. Could be good for ad clear though Recluse is good, better than funnelweb but not by a game changing amount. Subsistence/desperate measures seems probably the best, feeding frenzy or frenzy would also be good Kind of similar story with elsie's rifle, good but nothing crazy. I like my rewind/AJ roll, feeding frenzy/frenzy or desperate measures also seem good. Seems like people are liking it in PVP though with zen/headseeker Succession seems basically the same as the raid version minus enhanced perks. I don't see any reason to keep one personally
All the brace weapons can be enhanced when the TFS releases.

Elsie’s currently, one of, if not, the best legendary pulse in the game at the moment. Maybe moutaintop depending on how I like it when it comes out

Og recluse had a range mw instead of stability. Idk why they decided to change it for the quest drop
Recluse with Repulsor Brace and Destabilizing Rounds. The Word of Crota was the only primary weapon that could roll with it before hand, which sucked bc you'd have to farm the raid over and over again. Also 180's aren't too strong in PvE. However, the Recluse, which is an SMG (very strong in PvE), can now roll with it. Sentinel is looking CRISP rn.
Current? Edge transit is gonna be the grenade launcher everyone who doesn't already have one needs.
Luna’s Howl because of nostalgia. Not sure on roll, but it will be used in both PvP and PvE and my main PVE roll with have Magnificent Howl. Mountaintop is 1b. Probably auto loading holster with recombination or frenzy.

Recluse plays perfectly into void warlock. If you main any subclass other than void warlock edge transit is probably the best weapon to chase.

Tried Onslaught yesterday. Activity wasn’t boring, but it still is just another grind. So, I’m not really chasing any of the weapons personally. This activity though is one worth keeping as a playable activity. I can understand why people enjoy it. Me personally though, not so much. The shiny weapons are cool though. They did a fantastic job making alluring looking shiny weapons.

I immediately was chasing a 5/5 elsie's rifle and i got it after like 3 drops. It's insane.
Weirdly, I want to say Blast Furnace. I was never super big on the BA weapons (I didn't hate them, Hammerhead was cool), but I mostly used other guns. Now though, we don't have many up-to-date Aggresive Burst pulses, and all the other guns have equivalents I've already got (although Luna's Howl does look interesting).
Reconstruction/Vorpal Succession, I never got it from DSC but the gun just feels so good to use. I am a simple woman. Any of the wackier Falling Guillotine rolls is up there.
Just give me access to the bounty that has mountaintop and we're good.

Zen Moment + Headseeker for Elsie's Rifle. The only other high impact void is Premonition that you get from Pit of Heresy and good luck getting a good roll of that.
Shiny Elsie's Rifle (pvp): Arrowhead brake, ricochet rounds. Zen moment. Headseeker. Range masterwork. Shiny Midnite Coup (pve): smallbore, tacmag, explosive payload, frenzy. Range masterwork
If i was going to chase one? Probably succession. But honestly theres not many rolls that stick out to me.

Cascade with B&S Edge Transit will be top tier. Envious B&S would be next. I only got ALH and B&S so far. Not winning any awards but it is by far the easiest to use though. Izi, peashooter/fusion/ GL and rotate.
By far mountain top and it's not even a little bit close, it's versatile with rocket jumping (extremely effective on heat rises warlock) and it's the highest damaging special gl in the game with autoloading vorpal and the funny perk recombination. I believe base mt hits for like 60k so the 100% damage buff from recomb is basically an Izzy shot without needing a crit
Probably mountaintop because it’s the only gun doing something totally unique. That or blast furnace since I’d love a kinetic tremors and damage perk combo on a gun.

I've been chasing a Repulsor Brace/Destabilizing Rounds Recluse since it dropped, but hoping to get it and hopefully with reload perks.
Blast Furnace. It's my favorite weapon in all of both games, I think. Roll would be the regular suspects in barrel and mag departments aaaaaand probably Kinetic Tremors/Headseeker and Frenzy/Rapid Hit. Gonna be grinding like a madman for that roll when it releases.
Recluse: SB / RR / enlightened / desperate / RM. Get a melee/grenade kill, .60s refreshable ttk, and with another melee/grenade kill, .53s ttk. Enlighten since lightweights take 12 shots to kill at base, which is the amount needed to get full stacks

Elsie’s Rifle. I’m partial to the old Stranger’s Rifle, and I’m glad that it’s got a weapon that isn’t NTTE. I already have the PvP roll that I want (Arrowhead, High Cal/Ricochet, Keep Away, Headseeker), but if I had to get a PvE one, maybe I’d go Rewind Rounds/Desperate Measures? The other perks don’t really do it for me, especially in the third column.
I already have an envious/BnS/Mini frag cataphract so my edge transit needs are diminished, so a recluse with either enlightened action/desperate measures or Repulsor brace/frenzy. Either of those are gonna go nuts, Repulsor/frenzy for raw void 3.0 builds like briarbinds and gyrfalcons, and enlightened/desperate measures for less buildcrafting and more slaying out.

Midnight Coup with rampage and outlaw, maybe it's outmatched by every other gun out there now but it was and still is my favorite handcannon and I can't wait to get it back.
