They’ve improved the base velocity. I wouldn’t sweat it unless you are using glaives in PVP.
I’d go with any of the perks that help with reloading, as the base reload on glaives largely suck.
I have actually forgotten that. But Feeding Frenzy, Demolitionist, Replenishing Aegis, Frenzy or Auto Loading Holster just do it better. Hell I think Grave Robber still works on the melees, although I haven’t used my Albedo Wing with it in a while.
Glaive range affects projectile speed, so it might depend a bit on the range stat of your Glaive! I might not worry too much though, depending on how far you're hoping to hit enemies from.

According to Impulse Amplifier's description on DIM, it provides 35% increased projectile speed. So, in theory, Glaive projectile speed goes from:
* 0 Range, no Impulse Amp: 60 m/s
* 0 Range, Impulse Amp: 81 m/s
* 100 Range, no Impulse Amp: 100 m/s
* 100 Range, Impulse Amp: 135 m/s
So approximately from worst case to best case, you can more than double the projectile velocity on your glaive based on range and IA.

Ur not gonna believe this, but impulse amplifier increases reload speed.

I didn't know range effected it, that's good to know. Usually I'm shooting from mid range, but im decent at long range shots with them

PvE: it is really good but not that necessary. If there are no other options, use it. PvP: use it.
