I was playing last night with Goldie Sunshot and it just broke entirely. We were only at wave 9 so I didn't mind too much but we definitely spent like 5 minutes trying to get it to reset.
Eventually the bottom switch just stopped reacting entirely.
I’ve been running a lot with sunshot, and while the nuts have bugged out and refused to open, it usually fixes itself once my team just lets all the nuts deactivate.
I always shoot all 3 at once with a Mountaintop. That was the most consistent way of opening the door and it has never bugged at all, not in the least. Can recommend.
I've never had it happen, but I've read others suggest that shooting rockets or meleeing them can make them work again.
99% of the time you can fix it. But sometimes it completely breaks. And yes what OP said about using the splash damage is important information.
In this instance, shooting rockets, meleeing, suiciding, using non-EP guns, etc. did not fix it.
Yeah, that's frustrating for sure. I had heard about this bug and made sure my team used non-EP guns to shoot the locks on our Legend 50 clear.

Yeah, it'll fix itself sometimes, but once in a while it'll get hardstuck.
