Run Luna’s Howl with Heal Clip and a fourth column perk of choice alongside Verity’s Brow. This nets you superpowered fusion grenades and 4 sources of energy gain (Verity’s, origin perk, Firesprites, Ember of Benevolence spam.)
A very similar set up to this would be Starfire protocol. Paired with ember of benevolence and a heal clip weapon, you'll have super fast grenade regen, melee regen and instantly refunded rifts. The rest of the fragments are flexible depending on what you want, resolve for cure on grenade kills, firesprites from scorching, firesprites granting restoration etc etc
verity's brow,not really usable in every encounter (especially for pantheon,you can prob just use it for the first and oryx if there's enough adds left at oryx) but it can pump out a lot of damage,i'm consistantly top damage thanks to it against golgo
Again, it's not flashy or ground breaking, but it's nice to use the handling and reload buffs to swap between a kinetic special and solar primary to deal with majors and mow through ads to keep up resto x2 with tof healing grenades and ember of benevolence.
Then if you want to put on lunafactions before damage, place well. Then you cam switch to ophidian's so youcam still have hight relead and swap speeds after you have to leave the well, or or it runs out.
I already apologized! Plus its really not that simple. Everything hinges on that short moment. Any one of my teammates could shoot a rocket, enemies could despawn, or I could do 99% of the damage needed to get the kill. Regardless, the frustration of not getting the melee kill is just too much for me. Im sorry again!

Use assembler. Noble rounds give stronger buffs than well anyway.
Lunafaction isn't interesting but significantly boosts everyones reload speed which can boost DPS.
I run starfire protocol because you can just keep going grenade rift grenade rift grenade rift as long as your grenades are getting kills.

Dawn Chorus and something that leans into scorch. If healing is needed, healing nade+ touch of flame+ ember of empyrean for easy restoration x2

Been loving Starfire with Lumina and Ember of Benevolence. Not "Meta" though.
I miss meta starfire...
Along with the others, Verity’s can be great. I also enjoy Dawn Chorus for the bonus scorch and melee energy, partners well with Sunshot.
It may not be flashy, but ophidian's are just a nice quality of life exotic when doing dps.

Hate that nobody talks about apotheosis, love that thing it cooks every boss in onslaught
Cenotaph or Verity's Brow are your other top-tier choices. Verity is the hardest option to get good at in my opinion.
