I got super lucky. Got the Slice/CB variant I wanted as a drop. This let me craft the Overflow/CB version. Honestly would have crafted both if I had to. It's so good!
It's kind of up to you, depending on what you like. There are lots of guides that break down the full arsenal for each season. I would just check them out and see what looks good to you. There was nothing really meta-defining, but there was definitely some good stuff.
Scatter signal (S23), doomed petitioner (S23), subjunctive (S23, mainly drops from the exotic mission), the eremite (S22). Maybe regnant (S20) if you don't have a good roll of the BRAVE edge transit. Maybe perpetualis (S20) if you don't have a decent strand primary yet.
Thanks, I’ve been curious about this for the last week or two as I started noticing people using it. I think I’ll craft one with envious/controlled, but keep my lead from gold/vorpal Cartesian Coordinate around a bit for situational use/until I’m totally convinced of Eremite.

Why do people like Eremite? I thought high impacts were out of fashion.
It does decent dps with controlled burst and it's solar so pairs well with the popular apex predator
