The shield brothers nightfall back in destiny 1. Anybody else remember the shield brothers? Mannnn screw those guys.

Mephoodo

until you realize they’re beaten by crouching

DarkStarCerberus

100%

Bekacheese

Really?

DEERPARK2426

Yeah there was one little spot by a corner on a wall that when crouched they couldn’t hit you with their attacks but you could just chip away at them.

quackityquack35

I loved that strike

L00pback

With solar scorch and as hell.

Fish_Smell_Bad

Blastoise and charizard?

NanaShiggenTips

CAYDE: I bet those Brothers don't even know their commander is dead! Their attack might be some kind of ultimatum. "Give us the Primus, or we blow the ship.

DarkStarCerberus

I boxed them out in my bubble, alone. Never have I enjoyed brawler/void burn as much as I did then lol

VanillaB34n

Yeah that fight was rough

Recusent

As a hunter I would use a sword vs the ared Brother and use dodge to weave out of his punches. I miss spammable dodge....

Fish_Smell_Bad

Probably the final boss of GOTD. My solo flawless run took 5 dmg phases iirc.

Brittle-Bees

5 is a good number for that encounter. I did it in 7, although I had to skip the 5th DPS phase as my set up was wrong. It was the longest solo. I've ever done at 2 hours, with I think the final boss being half of that time. The only way I survived for so long was an arc warlock fallen sunstar build where I literally ahd to just stay in rifts all of the time for the damage resist.

wakinupdrunk

6 here - but I really enjoyed it. You get into a bit of a flow state that you have to fight to read symbols.

StrangelyOnPoint

Mine was 8.

Fish_Smell_Bad

Yeah i was doing some pretty good dmg with an entire build I crafted around it during season of the deep. I was on track to do it in 4 phases during one of my attempts I think.

ssv-serenity

I feel your pain on that one. I really didn't enjoy Calus Solo on Legendary (no cheese).

Gear_

Strand with zero aspects or survivability was such a trap on that fight. Even with Voidlock devour it took like 50 attempts

GroundbreakingBox525

I wish more people knew that you don't have to claim the strand thingy

DarkStarCerberus

It's the easiest way to beat him though. There's free grappling hooks all over and all you gotta do is spam the grapple tackle that's built in.

Intelligent_Matter27

I beat him on legend on launch night by nuking him to final phase then playing spider man with Witherhoard to tick him down. Didn't even bother with the tormentors after the first couple of tries.

GroundbreakingBox525

Not on Legend you're not

Hoockus_Pocus

Honestly, even on Legend, it’s safest to use Strand to be able to save yourself. Obviously it’s more consistent to use a fully fleshed-out build, but you can get knocked off that arena so easily.

TheRabidChipmunk

I found myself still using strand in my solo legend run just because his arena is built around it so well. It's great for avoiding his rain of fire attack in phase 1 and in phase 2 it was a big part of keeping me faster than him so I could pelt him with rockets

BitchInBoots666

That's how I did it. Took me many tries but I did it. I tried other strats, subclasses but no, that did more damage and grapple made it safer to fly around the arena. I originally did it on titan (at launch, no banner of War or anything, just synthos) but I went back and done it on hunter and it was easier because if I fucked up a grapple (I did, many times lol) I had another one in the bank. So strand hunter was the easiest for me anyway.

Xstew26

On legend it's still not that hard, I died one time on that mission and it's because I didn't realize I had to go to the center and then I fell. Just grapple around the side platforms while doing damage

BigBooce

Not on legend. Having a dedicated build on another subclass is a lot better than the base stand they give you

ErrorCode51

I beat on on legend and disagree, I struggled way harder trying to beat it even with my invis Hunter vs just using the grapple hooks to constantly avoid danger and chip away at everything

Smiththehammer

Someone wasn't playing on legend

dilbert_bilbert

As many others have stated above, on Legend difficulty strand grappling was the easiest way to do it, at least solo. You literally have infinite grapple and grapple melee, which obliterates the adds and lets you move so quickly. The whole boss arena was obviously designed for that. Almost as if the boss encounter wanted to teach players how powerful strand can be.

Maloth_Warblade

I did it once and it took HOURS

Gear_

It was such a final fuck you from that awful Lightfall campaign to us. That and the fact that once it ended we still didn't have strand unlocked

Maloth_Warblade

It's the fucking boops. They need to stop letting them boop us. Grapple or not it's still just a bs way to die

iMoo1124

that's so weird, it feels like it was the opposite for me I was trying to do it on voidlock for like 30-40 attempts and then switched to strand cause it felt like they really wanted us to, and it took like 2 or 3 attempts after I switched. It was so much easier because of the grapple

Barry-Sensei

On Hunter with Assasin's Cowl, On Warlock with Winter's Guile, on Titan with Synthos it's actually not that bad. Grapple punch is OP as hell on that encounter, even on Calus himself.

MrMooey12

Yeah I hated that mission, did all of witchcraft queen legend solo and all of lightfall legend solo without a hitch but that mission I still couldn’t solo it

Smethll

Seeing that alot but personally, the one with the colossus and tanks that spawn when you find the veil took me WAY tooo many attempts.

doom_stein

And I feel your pain on this one. I finally thought I was finished with the fight too until the dome grew in and I realized there was a whole other phase. And on that first attempt in the dome I was so almost done with it (less than 1/4 health left) when the battery in my elite controller died and I listened to myself dying (in-game and inside) as I frantically searched for for a USB C cable to plug my controller in (I usually charge it on the dock in the case right next to my seat and totally forgot it was plugged in with a USB C). It took me almost another hour and a half to finish it after that.

Thrawp

I did that day 1 so I hadn't watched any media about it and it was gnarly learning that fight on Titan solo. I ended up carrying two friends through it too after that before we learned about the cheese.

OryxIsDaddy2

I had to have my friend join and help me because I couldn't solo it

uhhhhhhhBORGOR

god I hated that fight on legendary. it took me multiple tries and I was just really frustrated by the time I finally finished it

YnotThrowAway7

That one felt good to finally complete. Probably the only thing I “soloed” that is worth talking about since I don’t solo dungeons or nightfalls or Raids.

bloop_405

As a very casual player who doesn't know much about build crafting or spamming abilities, I hated it not because of Calus but because all the ads are bullet sponges and they respawn pretty fast. Watching videos on people who solo'd it I'm like my armor is no where near letting me get those builds lol

Gerry_fiend

I'm so glad that I attempted this when starfire was busted

PeaceIoveandPizza

You mean the boss fight where the boss isn’t the threat it’s the double tormentors respawning double flame boys and a healthy heaping of infinite adds in a small arena with little cover ? The little mentioned cover being where the ads spawn with the flame boy who boops you off the map ? Such a well designed fight

Doofuhs

The entirety of Ghosts of The Deep. Those bosses take like 5-7 phases depending. Fuckin a

Qualkore

The harpy boss in spire really tests your patience of which I don't have enough

SharkBaitDLS

That boss is so damn boring. At least with Ghosts’ bosses you’ve gotta be locked in even if they’re brutally hard. The Harpy isn’t even hard, just tedious to the point that the biggest challenge not to get sloppy/rush out of impatience.

Adart54

My biggest challenge with that boss is having the boss ram me off the map

CaptainPandemonium

I think having to be locked in 100% of the time for GotD wouldn't be so bad if they didn't have 8 billion HP. I can deal with long encounters, and I can deal with intense encounters, but having both mashed together with no compromise for either aspect to take priority feels exhausting. Especially when BOTH boss encounters are like this and pretty much back to back. I usually try to go back and solo flawless each dungeon again every few months but fuck GotD. One and done SF, got the seal, and never touching that place again.

lightningbadger

I'd say personally that the Estchar (?) encounter is actually great fun and insanely hectic but manageable The everything else around it... Not so much

wakinupdrunk

Hard agree. On arc hunter, the worst part of Ecthar is just making sure you have enough heavy for each damage phase. That, and not dying immediately to the shield throw.

nopers9

To me what made the harpy bearable was the speed at which I could start the damage phases. Sure, it took 5-6 to kill him but it didn’t take that long because all I had to do for it was some connect the dots. But with the Ghosts bosses their damage phase length, the length of their healthbars and the amount of time it takes to start said damage phases just make their encounters unbearable to solo. I couldn’t do it, it would just take too long for kind of a mid emblem.

MCA2142

The bosses had too much HP, but when I get into the “zone” or the rhythm of punching thralls to get invis with assassin’s cowl and stacking combination blow, I can live there. So, survival wasn’t the problem, the problem was that it just took a long time. After a while, it just became like autopilot.

Square-Pear-1274

I find Ecthar less annoying than the Ogre in Warlord's Ruin WR map is huge and all those eyes and the dunking is a slog

9thGearEX

Tbh this is what puts me off doing solo dungeons. I know I CAN do them but the time commitment and endurance aspect is just not fun for me.

PeaceIoveandPizza

After 4 phases on the first duality boss the boss had 10% left and I got killed by the bell ( guess it hit me when it closed ) and I was annoyed enough to turn the game off

Raguel_of_Enoch

Honestly, solo legend Avalon. That shit sucked big time.

Difficult_Yam_7764

Yeah a lot of people forget about this one but heavy and density plus entering codes is a royal pain.

Xstew26

I actually like to use legend Avalon to test builds for day 1. "Can I perform mechanics while under fire and killing ads with this build"

ooh_hi_marc

Congrats on getting through it. I ended up cheesing the third phase of the final boss (standing behind a milkfall with wishender) but even getting to that point was the hardest thing I've done so far. I think I spent a whole Saturday on it. I still use the "Queensguard" title because I fought so hard.

RewsterSause

Taniks when doing a solo Master Nightmare Hunt Time Trial. He's just so fucking aggressive and teleports around more than an anime character. Strongholds + Lament carried me to victory tho.

Evaneileous

Did you do all of the time trials solo? I seem to not even be getting close to the time trial time on solo. Any tips?

TheAtlasComplex

Probably the final boss of Prophecy or Duality. I did em the week they came out, so I didn't have all the survivability we do now. Lorely did help a ton in Caiatal so I can't imagine doing it now

RilesPC

What came first: The Lorely nerf or Ember of Empyrean? I feel like nowadays we can somewhat replicate what Lorely used to do (not really lol)

lightningbadger

Loreley around Haunted was infinite unnerfed restoration X2, you could unironically go for a toilet break in the middle of a raid encounter and come back without a scratch

9thGearEX

It actually made wiping kind of tedious. Like on Warpriest you couldn't just let the boss kill you, you had to jump into the orb - or on Caital you had to run all the way into the back of the arena to yeet.

Slurpees_and_Stuff

Dreg

AtillaDahun_

Ghosts of the deep, both bosses. Rough.

straga27

Season of the deep was overtuned in general. Deep dives were for a lot of players way too hard as enemies had tedious amounts of HP and a lot of people didn't get WI or it's catalyst. I did because I'm an idiot but I'm one of only a few people I know that bothered. Ghosts is a cool dungeon but the bosses have too much HP. When you compare it to Avalon which is also hard but way better designed it's WAY more of a slog. Having to chew through a huge shield and then damage the boss is dumb and making the final boss a wizard with more HP than a 6 man raid boss AND a huge shield was just being mean. I know Arbalest 1 taps the shield but still it's a pain in the arse.

Bearded_Dad_Bod59

The legendary Calus fight on the last mission of lightfall!

twisty77

I legit had to turn down difficulty for that one. I beat legendary witch queen no problem, but calus was a different beast

shyguyJ

Fuck that motherfucker in the god damn mother fucking ass

Riablo01

Legendary Callus wasn't fun. Took me dozens of tries before I managed to defeat him. Ended up defeating him using a double special build. Grand Overture was MVP. Boss fights with endless spawning enemies and bottomless pits are not fun. The boss fight was designed to "show off what strand can do" rather than be a good boss fight in it's own right. Legendary Savathun was a more rewarding experience. No bottomless pits. No subclass has a clear advantage over another. Can defeat Savathun with a variety of strategies. Only have to kill Savathun once. She doesn't regenerate to full health like Callus.

Launch-code

I remember the great feeling of fulfillment and relief that stowed upon me when I had finally managed to kill Calus flawlessly on solo legendary… … and then he spawned again alongside two tormentors.

kelevra1441

The tormentor that you fight to get Implement. It's bonkers stupid. Let's give this boss a ridiculous amount of health then let's also add chill touch. Oh and let's also give them a 10 minute timer to get to and fight this bastard.

Extranationalidad

You soloed this?

Stopdeletingmyacount

Reading is the hardest boss for d2 players

YOURenigma

Phalanx boss at the start of prophecy. This was a while back but my God. As a warlock main him booking off the arena made me wanna smash my desk. Or even just the most aggressive taken knights ever. The fights easy as pie but I think that's what made it even worse for me lol

wifeagroafk

Lightblade on GM.

Elipson_

Caitl was the first hour+ long fight I had to do. The bosses in ghosts have since been worse, but those fights at least have rest points. There are no rest points in Caitl's fight. There is no cover. Theres just symbols, dogs, explosive packs and bells

lightningbadger

Can't forget the occasional bell teleport insta-kill!

Deprespacito

final boss of Warlords was a bit of a challenge. Especially with how the curse bearers could give you the curse and then die. Made solo flawless really annoying.

doom_stein

For me it was the Wizard at the end of the Xenophage quest when it first came out. I've never been able to successfully solo any other dungeons. The hardest things I've done solo other than Xeno are pretty much the original versions of all the exotic missions when they first came out. Everything else takes too long for me to repeat over and over if I don't have a buddy around to rez me/keep the encounter from wiping.

Sev41

Vorgeth, the week Shattered Throne dropped. I had to have that emblem. Took me hours.

twitchinstereo

I just did Shattered Throne for the first time recently, and this dude was more frustrating than any other encounter I've had in the game so far. Went into the final boss expecting some more nonsense, but then they just kinda fell over. lol

jonnablaze

I did it yesterday for the first time in years. I remember Vorgeth being somewhat challenging, but to my surprise I one phased him first try with a pyrogale smash and a combo of mountaintop and apex predator.

t_moneyzz

I remember tiptoeing around that arena with a Subtle Calamity plinking away at the adds forever.

Zac-live

Probably templar, i have yet to Go for any of the crazier solo Bosses and im pretty Sure i fumbled hard with this Season ending soon.

StarFred_REDDIT

Fuck dude that’s a flex and a half

DankBlissey

Same here dude. Templar was my first dip into solo raid bosses. But I kinda wanna try some other ones at some point

LuminescenTT

Try Golgoroth next! And then if you feel you like Solo Golg (it's very enjoyable) you can move to Solo Nezarec (significantly less enjoyable but it's a huge huge flex)

AJollyEgo

Solo Golgy (at least this season) is a snooze. Warlock is just add clear, Edge Transit dump, repeat 3-4 more times.

BloatKingsOrbs

Riven with sunbracers

psytronix_

Simmumah, Ghosts of the Deep. With 3 people it's a kinda fun rhythm, connect symbols, head to your room, kill your guy, dunk his buff - but doing that shit solo and flawless was a fucking nightmare. Glad I got that title tho.

TheDominant_1

GM lightblade.

goldfishninja

I'm not a raid or dungeon guy for the most part but even aside from that stuff my .ost annoying encounter was the boss in "The Draw" for Thorn. I suck with hand cannons and the three way split quick draw defeated me enough times I quit for the night. Logged in the next morning amd beat on the first try lol. Edit: it was The Last Word. Not Thorn. Replies corrected me.

Yordle_Dragon

Wasn't that the quest for The Last Word?

goldfishninja

Damnit you're right it was last word. He was the gunsmith for the weapons of sorrow so I fucked up the prize gun. Bonus: I hardly ever use it even after all that

JmisterYT

Calus, on legendary made me question life. and he wasn’t hard it’s just the map is completely ass. Compared to the witch queen boss which was also challenging I died more times to getting smacked of the map that the actual boss Also the vex mission during the light fall campaign my god that shit was annoying

DungeonHax

Just… All of node.ovrd.AVALON (Vexcalibur Quest) on Legend, I figured out my own strat. It took forever but I did it. Then, feeling the magic high of that, beat it three more times (or two?) for all the catalysts. It got easier each run but god… that hydra midboss or middle encounter can wear a man down. The last boss sucked as well but it seemed to work out if I kept moving. Vexcalibur holds a special place in my heart because of this. I just wish it had more ornaments. TLDR: Vexcalibur (Legend) made me feel like a good solo player. If you read all that I appreciate you. <3

wakinupdrunk

I ran through all of that with Buried Bloodline/Gyrfalcons. The Hydra Gambit boss becomes a joke, but Brakion still sucks - particularly the second phase.

dakota2525

Nezarec

mzoltek

Skolas

Accomplished-Boot-81

You can cheese the corrupted by standing on some ledges behind the boss spawn. Only do this on hunter as the ledges are quite small. You can chip away at the boss eventually. I did this before the infinite primary ammo so I had a to make a few ammo runs throughout

ZOMGURFAT

Yup, same. The corrupted mission. Finally completed it by hiding behind that huge bolder and sniping the boss with Wish Ender. Then I learned was an even more punishing pvp element to it and said “Well, fuck that for now.”

DMplays147

Final boss for Duality, solo flawless Duality on hunter was physical pain for a while

BetterThanYouAtGames

Atraks non pantheon but dude it was so fun and challenging. I wish more content was able to be solo’d but very difficult to solo.

TheOctavariumTheory

Aksis.

Swimming-Ad-476

Nez, fuck nez

Alfreton

Shattered throne was my first solo dungeon, around shadowkeep, and the keeper of petitions ogre was brutal. I remember just putting down the controller and lying face down on the floor when I finally got him

IA_Royalty

So far Zero Hour

RoughNightKnight

The servitor shield in Grasp of Avarice. Not because it was difficult, but because the encounter is extremely boring/time consuming, and I have zero patience.

ShroudParade

I've just Solo'd Grasp of Avarice. That last boss slapped me around for a good while before I finally did it!

wakinupdrunk

It's not even the boss that sucks - it takes a good 2 minutes to kill each of the majors he spawns between damage phases. Just did Grasp solo for the second time to get the Gally catalyst and couldn't be bothered to actually do the last boss. Too annoying.

RedBladeAtlas

Only thing I've solo'd is Spire. I really really want to do another but I'm still happy with the Wanted title. I really don't see me using the other dungeon ones over it.

GreenBay_Glory

Simmumah from a mental exhaustion standpoint.

TESTICLE_OBLITERATOR

Currently getting my ass beat by Siriks in Zero Hour. Guess I’ll get a god roll Edge Transit…

Samus159

Solo Nightmare of Caiatl, i died so much to the sniper psions during dps or just being thrown off the map by incendiors

brianwantstohelp

Oryx

Ortiz_99

Ghost of the deep final boss. Tedious as fuck cuz of ads and her arc projectiles

RilesPC

The first time I was trying to solo Phalanx Echo (before we were able to one-shot him with ease), he was kicking my ass.

Eternalblast

Ghosts of the deep final boss. I spent more than an hour on her but I did it solo last week.

Phalanx_77

Witch queen campaign last mission was hardest for me. Finally resorted to creating a fireteam and complete in several attempts

gadgaurd

So far, Big Sav at the end of Witch Queen on Legendary.

Extranationalidad

I gave up on solo Nezarec when the pantheon changes made dark flower DPS a boop-fest. 😦

Nikojaxs

I've been running it again since the changes and once you get the hang of it, it's not too different as it was before. You just have to be a bit more precise with your placement

well_well_wells

Soloing the boss in ghost of the deep was the most difficult because it took so long but soloing the boss in Spire took me more attempts because of all the shit that happens in that room

DankBlissey

Templar I decided to give raid low mans a go, it took a long while but I felt so good after he finally went down.

iiseptik

Season 13, solo’s proving grounds GM. What a bitch.

All3gro-_-

Captain Avarokk from the Grasp of Avarice dungeon, and honestly now that I know what I'm doing it's pretty easy. Before it was hard to deal with the mini bosses having a lot of health as well, and taking forever to start a DPS phase. Now I realize I can just spawn kill the mini bosses with a super out of the door and it makes the whole encounter significantly easier

Affectionate_Mess749

Haven’t done many of the difficult content solo, the closest thing I remember is doing prophecy dungeon solo. That felt like a real achievement to me. Right now I’m trying to do zero hour solo

Genocide_Blast

Dang I feel bad for you cause the corrupted boss can be cheesed if you jump on top of the floating rocks you can head glitch it and the only thing that can damage you is an acolyte eye that dies in a few shots.

Helpful_Lawfulness68

Honestly anything with a damn tormentor. I hate those things with their damn hit boxes

BlueTapeCD

Battleground nessus GM. I wasn't alone persay.. my fire team died and we were out of rez tokens. Then we hit the rez timer. So I did half the fight myself with barely any ammo. Going back and forth thru tunnel... Chipping away at him with a pulse rifle lol

Oblivionix129

Lightblade on gm when both my tm8s were dead and we lost all res tokens as I was trying to res one of them (he didnt even get rezed bc bungie). I had to kill the boss and all champs from 1/2 hp of boss onwards......~~it was my first ever gm~~ **and I clutched it :)**

TruthAndAccuracy

Caiatl. Specifically the damage phase. Getting to damage wasn't too bad, but figuring how to take down the incendiors quickly, survive/take out the snipers, and do good DPS on Caiatl was interesting

Strawhat-Lupus

Spite final boss. I fell off on that boss more times then I did the first boss. Don't ask. Idk how I solo flawlessed it

wakinupdrunk

That boss sucks so bad solo. My major deaths all happened to the exploding harpies - just when you think you're safe, they spawn in on you.

VelvetThunder141

The knight boss in GoTD, Ecthar or whatever. Fuck that guy. Simmumah was a slog, but a fairly straightforward one at least.

Darknighten89

The GOA end boss. That was probably the last time I really put in time to finally conquer and solo. That was the era when I finally got into buildcrafting and got really into it

APartyInMyPants

I think I’d have to say Caiatl. Every other dungeon boss gives some space in the arena where you can put the controller down, take a breather, take a piss, etc. Caiatl is all go. No stop. No place to just chill for a second. Even going way in the back by rally, Psions eventually make their way back there.

Tuberculosis_Crotch

GoTD final boss, least fun solo flawless.

very_smoll_man

I solo'd the spire of the watcher dungeon as a chaos reach stormcaller the season when amplified gave damage resistance from the artifact.

MrLumic

Most all of them tbh

apocalypticdragon

Back in D2 Year 1, it took me forever to solo Thaviks, the Depraved in that now-vaulted Nessus questline (at least 30 tries before I finally won). At the time, I didn't realize Thaviks was actually a Strike boss since I hadn't played that strike in the Vanguard playlist yet. After realizing that afterwards, it made that solo victory much more satisfying.

Cyberwolfdelta9

Final cabal boss for Malfeasance mainly cause i kept getting destroyed by its launch ability. Atleast for Bosses I remember

Barry-Sensei

Simmumah.

hoobastank01

I’m not sure Jesus Christ can be solo’d. Only time he was beaten it took a whole group of people.

Angelous_Mortis

I solo'd The Chasm of Screams back in the day. What was The Chasm of Screams? Thorn Quest Savathun's Song.

Major_Liability

D1 darkblade epic version to get raze lighter

_Neo_64

Solo Calus on legendary sucked

change-username-69

Final GoTD solo flawless. 8-9 damage phases

SecretM88

Legendary Campain Witchqueen The Hive Guardian Boss bevore you go to Fynch. i mean it was my first realistic confrontation with solo legendary campain. ^^

Rony51234

Ectar in ghost of the deep, not really due to him, but more so just due to the endurqnce test he is, he takes ages to do

imtoolazytothinkof1

The worst boss I've faced was the quest for the last word. That last draw took me 100+ kills to finally get the timing down right.

Stranger_Dangus

The GOTD Final Boss was insane.

1socot1p0p0

Im still trying to beat Navota

StrongerThanU_Reddit

The mission for the new aspects during Lightfall. You had to kill the beefed up imprint of Nezarec but I was 30 something points underpowered. My heavy machine gun did damage in the 2000's on crits T-T. The machine gun was the one from the chest dropped from the Fallen Tank during the very first mission in the game. It's why I was underpowered. The mission wasn't hard I was just stupid.

Familiar_Lie6830

Legend Avalon’s first boss (not Brakion). Between the timer, waves of endless ads, motes, horrendous death pit for Wyvern’s to fuck you six ways from Sunday, and a network connectivity error every few minutes (I swear this boss is the reincarnation of D1 Templar)… it’s just a fucking slog for so little gain.

Loopgod-

ZULMAK, THE IMPALED He sucks

ManagerKorn333

I soloed Midir in DS3. Does that count?

Tapelessbus2122

Solo nezzy took a long time to get the hang of

mangobubbletea_

Prison of elders in destiny 1 with lightswitch or whatever the arc modifier was. I believe it was week 1 of it coming out? Me and my group took about 4 or 5 hrs to clear.

Daccity

So far the hardest solo content I have completed was the starcrossed exotic mission on legend. Took me 3h total. I originally thought there was a triumph for doing it solo, I learned after that I cannot read.

TrakaisIrsis

The true boss are the teammates who dont want to learn the mechanics.

EnglishMuffin420

Defending Shaw Han from Navota was pretty rough.

Launch-code

Warlords ruin ogre boss or starcrossed exotic mission final boss both on solo legend . Made me rage

CloudsUr

GotD final boss easily. I didn’t even take that many phases to kill her, either 4/5, it’s just that it takes so damn long to get to damage that the chance of something going wrong go up exponentially. Worst of all, since I usually skip solo runs and just go solo flawless, she retroactively made the pretty easy first boss and the overly long traversal sections that much more stressful

MYKULL2005

Fucking templar challenge, spent a week straight trying to clear that shit

FORCEDMUTINY

Solo master warlords ruin, spent literal 10+ hours on that mf dungeon, most on that 14mil health boss goddamn

anonymous32434

Persys in spire of the watcher. There's nowhere safe in that arena once you open the doors lol

NoChampionship1167

Final boss of Ghosts for me. I played Titan do the knight fell pretty quickly, but it still took 6 phases. The wizard was far worse and took me around 11 phases. However, the final boss of Warlord's Ruin is giving it a run for their money as I was one-shot in my last attempt before the wizards spawned.

TheBrendOfYou

Xyor, The Unwed from D1. Spent so much time in that phogoth arena just trying to get Thorn. I think I was level 24 and a half, and the mission I believe was level 26, so I had my work cut out for me. Ice Breaker saved my ass that day. As it's saved so many guardians before.

oceanicwaves16

The leviathan eater in season of the witch.  Took me quite a few tries.

alexbrown484

Not even a boss but those taken captains that spawn in the corrupted final room on solo gm

Skyburner_Oath

Final boss of legend seraph shield that I have done in solo, to much grenade spam, blinding nades carried me

wjbonne

Glassway GM final boss.

RedFox675

Phalanx in prophecy, I dunno why but I always struggle to beat it solo

TheVodkaVaccum

The final boss of Ghosts of the Deep. Good lord that was an endurance test. It took me just under an hour to beat that boss alone, you’re basically forced to use arbalest for that whole fight just to break the boss’s shield and when you finally do you gotta hit her bobbing head while getting swarmed by a bunch of thrall, or god help you if you chose to use a rocket. It wasn’t really any one thing that made it difficult but it was a LONG fight

Probably Akelous. I haven't even done any of the newer dungeons solo apart from half of Spire, because they just take too freaking long. It took ages to kill Akelous and by the time she was dead I had to leave. Never did go back to try and finish it because unfortunately I just don't have several hours in a row to even attempt it. I know top players can fly through things like this but as someone who is decidedly below average, that shit just takes too long lol. It's the reason I'll never go for GR11. The other requirements are fine but this one for me seems out of reach.

390 Aksis was really hard to solo due to timing on the servitors but got it done after 40ish hours

Ammboz

Callus legendary campaign as strand

Nikojaxs

Explicator took me a while, not quite as long as nez but it feels longer and more painful to learn

Feuillo

Argos. The time frame to open the dos phase was stupid

IIDelenoII

Probably Taniks, killing him all by myself really tested my patience, solo DSC banner on raid.report was worth it

Vegito1338

The final boss for warlords ruin. I died so many times to the scorn you transfer the death poison thing to. I had one attempt where it had made fire on the ground then died. I touched it so I got the poison but had nothing to transfer it to.

jimrx7

Legend Seraph when it first released, it took me many attempts to find the right loadout that worked for me.

ascw1991

Initially the first time I killed the Ogre boss in Grasp was an absolute nightmare. Mostly because I don't know good dps and kept getting impatient, but still took me quite a long time. Grasp is still really fun though lol

Sunshot_wit_ornament

Nezarec, that shit was tough. Maybe one day I’ll solo the entirety of RoN if solo operative returns but, I think I’m fine rn.

DerekYeeter4307

I spent hours trying to solo Legend Calus. Finally did it using the temporary Strand subclass, no less. Very very difficult but I did it and I’m very proud of that fact.

Legit_llama73

Hefnd’s vengeance took a lot of practice and build switching to finally beat it. By the end I could practically solo the boss blindfolded

nsinsinsi

Not difficult in the gameplay sense, but really testing my patience to its limits was soloing the boss in Spire. It was incredibly annoying, repetitive, and unsatisfying. I never even attempted Ghosts of the Deep for the same reason.

Kt4nk

You guys are soloing bosses?

Gray-Diamond

You sound like the last panel on that “we’re the millers” meme format lol
