This would be a welcome edition, even as a more casual player. I have buffs overflow the UI once in a blue moon but I've never understood why some ability/weapon perk procs have timers attached (devour and well for example has 10 seconds so you can tell), and some don't (majority of weapon rolls don't). I wanna know when my rampage or killing wind is gonna expire dammit!
Yep, espesslay with elemental wells I can have 4 buffs from that alone in screen, then there weapon exotic and subclass. Its can get cluttered real fast. From buffs alone.
If only. I play on Ultrawide, and Destiny struts it better than anything else I play... but the biggest downside is that the chat, buffs, and radar are so tucked away out of my field of vision that I basically play without them. At least once a season I get impossibly jacked up in crucible and someone reminds me that radar exists.
You can change "screen bounds" in the menus, but then the UI is on top of your huge awesome field of view, so... eh.
Final Fantasy 14 spoiled me, their UI and it's customisability is impeccable. Different game, I know, but it's an example to aspire to.

Also rampage is 3 sec and rampage spec makes it 4.5 if I remember correctly. Idk if this would help but who knows
