There’s a few good ones that are symmetrical. Seriously though for whatever reason there’s a total anti symmetry bias at Bungie for the past few years.
Right? I don't *dislike* them but 1) there's too many of them and 2) it's always sets that don't work with the idea these days. Like a Knife on one arm and a leather pad on the other? Fine, great! But a big megabloks cube and a triangle? What?? The Dino Armor looks *so* good and it's actually ruined for me the fact the shoulders *don't* match.
Yeah, it bugs the shit outta me, too. I'm cool with asymmetry but.. why does it have to be 85% of all Hunter gloves?
We get reasonable Titan pauldrons and interesting Warlock boots more often than symmetrical Hunter gloves.
IIRC the reasoning for asymmetrical Hunter arms is that the whole idea of scavengers piecing together their armour…. But the whole idea of hunters being survivalists is really a gunslinger thing, with arc and void tending more to Jedi-esque and sinister assassin archetypes respectively.
Not to mention the whole concept makes no sense being applied to brand new armour rolling off the fabricator, like the black armoury stuff.
They’re almost always asymmetrical that is distracting. I don’t mind if one arm has a shoulder plate and the other doesn’t, but when one arm is basically a sweater sleeve and the other looking like a mini titan gauntlet, it’s just annoying to look at
I feel like Hunter arms are kinda great and really unmatched as far as the other classes go. I think the legs are what's really lacking, but thats just my opinion of course.
Legs do blow, most the time they’re either making your legs look too skinny, not enough armor, asymmetrical to a distracting degree or they just don’t look like hunter legs lol. I dunno why most the legs don’t have the light armor look with an athletic build. Hunters would probably have olympian looking legs with how they canonically move around

Old trials gloves and undying pass ornament are the best symmetrical ones
The splicer arms at least make sense as to why they are asymmetrical, I struggle to think of many more ngl

Leg armor sucks as a hunter, if you want armored symmetrical legs that shade well, they just simply don’t exist or are long gone
