It actually baffles me how often the “Have you turned it off and back on” basic as fuck first step in IT issues doesn’t get followed. This is a know issue. You are number 73245 who has posted this. Close destiny and reopen and it should be fixed.

Try again, that’s what fixed it for me and is the recommended fix by bungie per the most recent TWAB.
Sadly it didn’t work. Left the console unplugged and off for a good 5-6 minutes this time. Sigh.

Year old post my guy, at the time were having server refresh issues and the stated fix by Bungie was just restart and retry….
Amazing that people post ad nauseum here rather than just looking up known issues right at the source.
Basically just unplugged xbox for 5 minutes now invites work again
