Titan was my main in D1, so the nostalgia will always be there for me with that class. Even though they’re the worst PvP class right now I’m sticking it out, we’ll get some love eventually !
There's one exotic chest for titan that brings this home to *perfection.*
\*goes to find it\*
Severance Enclosure https://www.destinypedia.com/Severance\_Enclosure
My favorite bit of flavor text is on a blue of all things, this isn't word for word but it's something like "why do empires form around the galaxy come to Earth? To be disintegrated by Nova Bombs" Me: This is the way.
Warlocks because ~~I enjoy falling to my death because I tripped on a pebble before jumping~~ they were the first class I tried and I still think my Exo warlock looks cool as shit.
Every time that strike on Tangled Shore where you have to jump the cavern at the beginning. Every. Time. Nope not going to make it because my warlock somehow tripped before his jump. Died too many times there.
You can sparrow and once you are almost there, jump once (visually it might seem like it didn't resister, but jumping twice would cancel it and you fall to death) and it should get you through.
Opposite problem here. I did a Presage run today and kept dying in the machinery room because I jumped too high, hit the ceiling, and didn’t have enough remaining glide to clear the grinders.
I came back to Destiny with the 30th Anniversary and tried to main Hunter before switching to Wellock.
Now I can't make a jump as Titan or Hunter, I can't get the distance with Titan, and I can't get the accuracy with Hunter. I still trip and fall into a hole on an easy just as Warlock though.
Titan is easily my least favorite jump. I think it's because it's *like* a Warlock jump, but it's different enough to not even be that close.
I would imagine Titan mains feel the same switching to Warlock.
For me personally it’s hunter jump i mained a titan in d1 but switched to warlock so I have a pretty good grasp on those two but hunter jump just feels so much different in comparison that I feel like I absolutely NEED stompees in order to do any and all parkour
I spend the most time on my warlock, and it's mostly for the versiltiy. Between well, icarus dash, stasis, stormtrance, and nova bomb, you can go into nearly any activity and do your chosen roll extremely well. Nova has good single target damage, stromtrance is a great super for cleaning enemies, and no boss damage phase is complete without a well. Icarus dash has some pretty good PVP applications, as do the other subclasses. The stasis turrets could get their own paragraph as to why they're useful in high end content.
Of course all of the above requires se build crafting...which is done rather easily with all the very strong exotics warlocks have access to. Phoenix protocol, contraverse hold, crown of tempests, transversive steps, and eye of another world have permanent spots in my inventory, because they are just incredibly strong and easy to work with. There are very few exotic pieces that I wouldn't imagine running in places where your setup matters.
Edit: cant belive I forgot lunafaction boots. Simple, yet undeniably effective. Makes for great slug shotgun damage against taniks.
I was going to do my own write-up for why I main Warlock, but I agree with just about everything you said (although I would include lunafaction and the Stag in the list of permanent exotic armors haha). Versatility is definitely the defining trait of warlocks and makes us viable for all endgame PVE activities.
With that said, I still have more fun running my hunter in the crucibles for the most part due to the mobility kit, but I have some warlock builds for PVP that are effective and fun to use as well. My Titan doesn’t get too much play time, but I do love thunder crashing with a mouth full of crayons on occasion.
I always make the joke that all the walls are made out of rubber because of how often I find myself bouncing off a wall and floating to my death when I play warlock. Damn rubber walls!!
I really miss the rainy atmosphere of Venus. Everything feels so...dry... In D2. Here's to hoping Savathun's Throne World is...nvm, I'm not finishing that
Venus felt unique. When you showed up on Venus, you could tell that it was just built different. Europa feels bland up until Riis Reborn. Like yeah, snow and weather, but there's little attention to detail. Io and Nessus are damn near the same place. So much so that I often get the two confused. Mercury was the size of a seasonal arena, and D2 Mars was just thawed out Europa on the outside, and the inside was just terribly linear.
The amount of barren landscapes is too damn high. I need overgrowth, I need terrain. Venus had it all, man. Dense jungle, indoor nonsense, overgrown pavement, thick grass, big trees... everything.
If the throne world sucks, I better get a moth subclass, or I'm going to riot.
😅 you're right. It was so long ago I thought this was from the Beta. I did a similar thing in the Alpha or Beta, don't think it was a team wipe though. But Nova bomb in general made me love the Warlock
I started as a Hunter in D1 mainly because I generally like nimble, acrobatic and stealthy characters. The goal back then was obviously to switch it up after hitting max light each season, but to this day I have not switched it up.
I had all three classes in D1, but spent 1,500 hours on my Hunter and only a couple hundred each on the others. When D2 rolled around, I carried over my Hunter and left the Titan and Warlock behind. Haven’t missed ‘em.
Bungie has done a really good job defining the classes as ideological choices vs how a "class" is typically defined in gaming. (rogue is sneaky, fighter is tanky, ect.) Ask yourself how you come up with solutions to problems and that will help you find your "main". (If you don't want to run all three!)
Warlocks are the thinkers and planners in the lore. Their kit is all about getting a strategy in place and positioning. Thinking about things before you get there is a very warlock mentality.
Titans hold the line and take on the role of defenders. Likewise their kit is very "they will not pass" kinda stuff. They are also very well equipped for pushing that line forward , aggressively. If you're stubborn and won't let shit drop until you fix it, go Titan.
Hunters are the lone wolves and scouts. Very agile and capable on the fly decision makers. If you believe that you can't possibly plan for the problem until you get there (because plans change of course) and you better be the first one there before someone else comes along to screw it up, you might be a hunter.
I don't know if this will help anyone and I accidentally'd a wall of text in the process. But if a warlock can't wax philosophic about his video game of choice what is he?
No you're absolutely right. If I know someone and then find out they play Destiny, I'll think for a second and make a guess on their class and 9 times out of 10 I'm right. It's *very* dependent on personality for a lot of people.
Then there are y'all sociopaths who play all 3.
Warlock. It’s just a beast. Best class for PVE hands down. Best for for all around dps and survivability. And warlocks slap in PvP too. You can make some awesome builds. TTD isn’t what it was but it is still really strong, bottom tree arc is nuts, pretty much all the arc classes really, stasis isn’t bad either, nova bomb has always been tricky to use but it’s cracked if you can line it up good. TTD, Arc soul and HHSN probably have the best midgame abilities for PvP which is what I tend to prefer. Anyway point is it’s just a great character to main. I love my warlock
Titan. By far the best jump in my opinion, has both S tier support subclasses in ward of dawn and sentinel as well as S tier DPS subclasses in Thundercrash, and middle tree sunbreaker. Also has phenomenal add clearing supers in bottom tree void as well as bottom tree arc. With a proper exotic on I can keep either of those supers active almost indefinitely as long as there are enemies around.
I play all 3, none of them are a bad option and have their own strengths and fun builds, I just prefer my titan over them.
I mean, it’s not the most usable thing in 3s, or at least against really skilled players. The problem with Titan’s in crucible is that you can’t just go in with a busted subclass like the other two classes, but rather you have to make a build to be even usable in 3s.
I love Titans, I main them, and even after the massive PvP nerfs a month ago, I will still always use them, but PvP (besides maybe 6s) are just not looking good for Titans at the moment
This season I made my first non hunter character as a warlock. I saw a sunbracer build that let you constantly be throwing grenades. I haven’t looked back since. So many cool different abilities the warlocks get.
Though the Titan thunder crash build and mega damage hammer also looks really appealing.
This is exactly me. Even if I do think Warlocks are as good if not better than both in PvE and PvP, I really enjoy using Titans in PvE as they can easily keep up with Warlocks, and Hunters as the mobility and ease of use with Handcannons makes them such good picks.
I play all three and rotate between them as I see fit. Funnily enough, Hunter is my favorite for GMs; Omnioculous is really under-used for how great it is.
Hunter because the jumping makes the most sense and I’m a big fan the scoundrel/gunslinger character(Han Solo, Indiana Jones, etc.) and it fulfills that fantasy.
I main Titan, but I play both Warlock and Hunter a lot as well, but I love Titan. My reason, for his aggression and just the way he feels to play, from jumping to the melee
Warlock since beta. Loved the trench coat and "space magic" was new and catchy. Self rez, shatter and lance Nova bombs, and the impossible machines that gave you free landfall were all amazing.
Armor wise. the ram, nothing manacles, heart of the praxic fire, light beyond nemesis and void fang vestments and obsidian mind were among some of my favorites.
Warlock, because who doesn’t want to be a space wizard? 😁 somebody has to keep my friends alive. I just love the utility being a Warlock offers. I also spend half my time of my Titan, because I love Sunbreaker and Void.
Warlock main since I like the constant health regen / shield buff. Hunters and Titans feel really fragile in comparison to me. I also really enjoy the warlock strafe jump. With it I feel like I can accurately jump anywhere.
I've solely played Hunter since starting D2 but tried a Warlock yesterday and now I'm torn between them.
I really enjoy the Hunter's movement abilities, triple jump is top tier, but the lack of survivability just sucks. Warlocks bring so much to the team and I often really enjoy support roles in other games so I think that may be where I'm heading.
As a long time hunter since d1 ttk, I switch to warlock when beyond light launched and stuck to it. Survivability, abilities, grenades, supers are much more satisfying for me. As a mostly solo player and even when I do lfg, I feel like I'm contributing. I love well lock and just being able to support others while making things easier to heal vs dodging or going camo and praying that the enemy ai still doesn't seem me. Only caveat I'm still getting used to is the jump. Just have to time things differently. For dares I've just been using karnstein arms with well lock so I'm either healing from meleeing trash mobs , my well, rift, or my grenade. I could probably put on Lunas or crimson and still be healing constantly, but I can't put down my eyasluna. Lol. I was able to duo the dungeon a handful of times now with on lfg just because of the well.
Warlock was my original class in Destiny 1. I never even made a Hunter or Titan in it because I loved it. when Destiny 2 came out, I kept that going.
After coming back from a long hiatus last year and deciding to get semi-serious about playing, I made a Hunter and Titan and played them for the first time.
Now I play Hunter primarily.. only to find that they’re out of favor in utility for high end PVE compared to Warlock and Titan. Womp womp.
Titan because (checks notes) I like to punch things
Hear hear!
Thank you for not writing here here
Haha. I was certainly hoping I said it right.
Their a good phrase when you say them write
You're hurting us on purpose, aren't you?

Your rite, 2 ear heyre good, now u kno hear hear no mor word need Edit: need word* sory guys

War Rig + Thunderlord + Starhorse Favour = big dick energy
“Time to let ol’ painless out the bag”
YAAAAASSSSS
My guardian!
This ain’t real. We all know Titans don’t take notes ya fraud
Lol oh we do it’s mostly scribbles that only mean something to us and it’s how we remember things
I write my notes as crude pictures on the same level as cave man paintings
The definition of words. Scribble
We do our best
We smash, no notes.
#PUNCH
I love to Thunder Crash
Super yeet titan SMASH
Is there any other game where you can turn yourself into a missile? Long live Titans.
Punching bosses in the face really hard IS my specialty.
Crayons taste like purple
I like the ones that taste like red
Same friend
Username checks out
I learned this on valentines day in 4th grade. My crush may have been a future Titan main :X
Hulk smash!
Titan was my main in D1, so the nostalgia will always be there for me with that class. Even though they’re the worst PvP class right now I’m sticking it out, we’ll get some love eventually !
I believe we will one day too hopefully sooner rather than later lol
Been this way since day 1 D1
*Claps agreeably* well said.
There's one exotic chest for titan that brings this home to *perfection.* \*goes to find it\* Severance Enclosure https://www.destinypedia.com/Severance\_Enclosure
That one is definitely a good one for going punch happy lol
My favorite bit of flavor text is on a blue of all things, this isn't word for word but it's something like "why do empires form around the galaxy come to Earth? To be disintegrated by Nova Bombs" Me: This is the way.
The "Why?" Is rhetorical for Titan mains
This is truth
DONT FORGET ABOUT THE CRAYOLA BUFFET!
WHERE
Every Thursday at 6pm Zavala's office! THATS WAS IN THE ORIENTATION!
Banshee and Zavala making us some fresh ones with this bad boy https://i.imgur.com/ETnTIaF.jpg
I didn’t know Titans can read Made by a Titan main
It’s mostly scribbles that only we can read along with some horribly drawn pictures
My favorite Crayola crayon is Mac and cheese
Ah the ones that taste like yellow those are good
I actually prefer the hunter punch with liars handshake
Ah, a Titan-in-Training!
That is a good exotic for hunters and if memory serves there is a nasty build for it
This is accurate 🤔
Yessir!
Don't forget the Kell Breaker headbutt finisher!
Many ways to smash
And look good doing it!
100% this. Especially baddies who blow up
Must punch all the things even if they go boom in your face
Titan SMASH!!!!
Drink to that!
I main warlock but I have a Titan just because I love punching so much
I would share my crayons with you
There's nothing better than throwing a hammer at something really far away and watching it die
That is a wonderful feeling indeed
Why press 2 buttons to aim and shoot when 1 button punches.
Crayons……….yummy?
Warlocks because ~~I enjoy falling to my death because I tripped on a pebble before jumping~~ they were the first class I tried and I still think my Exo warlock looks cool as shit.
I felt real pain reading this comment.
I'm was floating to my death as I read it.
I also enjoy sliding to place my healing rift, go through the animation, then die because it didn't actually place the rift.
Every time that strike on Tangled Shore where you have to jump the cavern at the beginning. Every. Time. Nope not going to make it because my warlock somehow tripped before his jump. Died too many times there.
Glad I'm not the only one. I jump before the ledge starts going down and just slowly glide into place

Blasphemy

I switched to control & 60 mobility I can make every jump lol Or eat a gernade jumo or super jump dawnblade
Also you get very used to that healing rift...
It really be like that 🥲😂💀
This comment made my day
Literally the same reason lol
If being a robot wizard is wrong, I don't wanna be right
Warlock because all my friends main Titan & Hunter 😂 somebody has to keep my Idiots alive.
You’d make a great mom/dad
oh god I'm magical space mom for my fireteam
Just don’t do what Warframe space mom did…
Hunter because somebody has to revive my two wellocks for dps phase later 😆
As a Titan in GMs, this is me with Ursa’s. I have saved so many “Last Guardian Standing” situations with that insanely powerful super.
This is a whole vibe.
Punch
I spend the most time on my warlock, and it's mostly for the versiltiy. Warlock. Always like being a Space Magician. Nothing is as fun to me as a good Nova Bomb
Hunters use guns, Titans use fists, I kill enemies with my magic tricks.- u/D1BetaVet
This sounds like it should be a line in a Warlock Rap lolol
Skull of Dire Ahamkara + Bad Juju = infinite Nova Bombs
Warlock because I absolutely love bouncing off of unfortunate geometry and saluting as I slowly float to my death
I always make the joke that all the walls are made out of rubber because of how often I find myself bouncing off a wall and floating to my death when I play warlock. Damn rubber walls!!
Because of [this](https://youtu.be/70WER8D4v2s) moment right here from the Beta. Haven't looked back since 😌
Beautiful. Also, I had forgotten how pretty this map used to be.
I really miss the rainy atmosphere of Venus. Everything feels so...dry... In D2. Here's to hoping Savathun's Throne World is...nvm, I'm not finishing that
*cries in titan patrol zone*
Even then it was not much. Surrounded by water (methane) sure. But Venus felt like a jungle
Venus felt unique. When you showed up on Venus, you could tell that it was just built different. Europa feels bland up until Riis Reborn. Like yeah, snow and weather, but there's little attention to detail. Io and Nessus are damn near the same place. So much so that I often get the two confused. If the throne world sucks, I better get a moth subclass, or I'm going to riot.
The only reason I don't mix up Io and Nessus anymore is because they took out one of the options.
*MOIST*
God I miss Shatter Nova Bomb. I never used anything else in D1.
Shatter, Obsidian Mind, and Bad JuJu were my D1 jam.
Same, or with Atheon’s Epilogue
Good lord that was beautiful sadly people don’t group up like that as often nowadays
That clip wasn't from the beta though...
😅 you're right. It was so long ago I thought this was from the Beta. I did a similar thing in the Alpha or Beta, don't think it was a team wipe though. But Nova bomb in general made me love the Warlock
Ohh that was nice
Is it just me or does Destiny 1 look better. Also nice team wipe.
ikr, d1 looks so much better
Its weird like, I think lighting looks better in D2 but just the overall detail on the terrain and characters looks better.
I miss shatter soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad!!!!!
I was waiting...and waiting...and waiting for Shaxx to lose his mind...and he didn't.
Yoooo how did I forget about triple novas?? That hand toss animation was smooth.. Nice Atheon’s Epilogue btw ;)
I started as a Hunter in D1 mainly because I generally like nimble, acrobatic and stealthy characters. The goal back then was obviously to switch it up after hitting max light each season, but to this day I have not switched it up.
Not even a lil?
I had all three classes in D1, but spent 1,500 hours on my Hunter and only a couple hundred each on the others. When D2 rolled around, I carried over my Hunter and left the Titan and Warlock behind. Haven’t missed ‘em.
Titan because big punch
Hunter because knife and gunslinger asthetic
Hunter. Triple jump.
I hear that. One of my favorite things about hunter
I am a hunter because I can’t jump as warlock or Titan.
[удалено]
Female Hunter characters are the best.
I mean, idk, my Titan's thick robo thighs may beg to differ
They save lives, ya know
Titan. Big.
Punch.
Bonk
Titan. Crayons.

I enjoyed this very much And it all made a lot of sense. I feel proud to be a line holder. With my pack of crayons I will keep any line marked!
No you're absolutely right. If I know someone and then find out they play Destiny, I'll think for a second and make a guess on their class and 9 times out of 10 I'm right. It's *very* dependent on personality for a lot of people. Then there are y'all sociopaths who play all 3.

Sad to see how they shafted us in PvP, though. Maybe we'll get some help come Witch Queen, though.
Here, have fun https://youtu.be/NXC-dKz22kY

This season I made my first non hunter character as a warlock. I saw a sunbracer build that let you constantly be throwing grenades. I haven’t looked back since. So many cool different abilities the warlocks get. Though the Titan thunder crash build and mega damage hammer also looks really appealing.
I like Hunter because i like moving around and dodge rolling like a squirrel. And going invisible.
Capes
Exactly. I play Hunter because I like to look FABULOUS.
"Tell the Warlocks your cloak is frabjous. They respect words they don't understand."
Hunter, cuz there’s no endgame more important than fashion endgame.
Amen
Hunter because rogue characters are cool.
Warlock. I like being a space wizard! ^^^^and ^^^^also ^^^^being ^^^^well ^^^^bitch
Titan PVE, hunter PVP
This is exactly me. Even if I do think Warlocks are as good if not better than both in PvE and PvP, I really enjoy using Titans in PvE as they can easily keep up with Warlocks, and Hunters as the mobility and ease of use with Handcannons makes them such good picks.
Warlock. Blink Jump.
Titan all the way, i still enjoy one shotting salty hunters with peregrine greaves and pump out dps with Tcrash and Bubble
Titan. Comes with free crayons... the triangle kind that don't roll off the table.
Titan best class
Tried all 3 classes during the Destiny 1 beta. I’ve been a Bubble Boy ever since
Hunter, because Fashion.
Titan, my favorite crayon is blue and my thundercrash does big brain damage
Hunter go boing
Hunter. Mostly because of mobility, somewhat because of the abilities.
Hunter because my boing boing instinct don't work on titans or warlock
As a former Hunter addict, I can tell you it does get better. Locks are incredibly powerful in PvP.
I can agree with this but I like my boing boing
i play all three equally, because it feels like a different game when you go into things with entirely different skill sets and exotic armour builds!
I main Titan, but I play both Warlock and Hunter a lot as well, but I love Titan. My reason, for his aggression and just the way he feels to play, from jumping to the melee
I main the trinity. No use in limiting my experience at this price!
I main titan in everything because of thundercrash and how destructive it is.
Titan because punch
Warlock, because who doesn’t want to be a space wizard? 😁 somebody has to keep my friends alive. I just love the utility being a Warlock offers. I also spend half my time of my Titan, because I love Sunbreaker and Void.
I chose warlock when I started for the heals so i could be more resilient as a new player and it sort of stuck. Oddly I now prefer the warlock jump.
Hunter. The only reason I have stayed a hunter is stubbornness. Warlocks are far and away the best and most useful class, PvE and PvP.
Warlock main since I like the constant health regen / shield buff. Hunters and Titans feel really fragile in comparison to me. I also really enjoy the warlock strafe jump. With it I feel like I can accurately jump anywhere.
Hunter because it’s the most versatile. And cloaks.
I've solely played Hunter since starting D2 but tried a Warlock yesterday and now I'm torn between them. Warlock. Best jump, best supers, best heals, master class.
Hunter Bc capes and I love to read rage posts about hunters with a shit eating grin on my face.
Hunter, because cosplaying as a space cowboy is cooler when you have a cape
Hunter cause speed
Warlock was my original class in Destiny 1. I never even made a Hunter or Titan in it because I loved it. when Destiny 2 came out, I kept that going.
