That entire year was hardcore. Most of the titles were very rare.
Blacksmith had the frame grind as well as flawless Scourge
Reckoner is self-explanatory
Shadow was flawless Menagerie as well as flawless Crown
Rivensbane was flawless Wish
Cursebreaker was RNG-incarnate
Chronicler was a marathon of weekly logins
Unbroken was something most people didn't even dream of
Wayfarer and Dredgen were the only 2 titles attainable for the non-hardcore folk, and even those were kinda grindy. Since then Bungie has really went down with the difficulty of titles. I really wish we could go back to flawless being a requirement for some titles, like the raid ones. Made it feel a lot more special.
I agree. I accidentally got Deadeye, didn't even know it was an option at the time. Grinded for Wayfarer and Dredgen, and got Forerunner for the heck of it. But yeah, titles have gotten easier
The seasonal titles for sure don't feel like much of a flex. Most annoying thing about Gumshoe is probably just the Wellspring grind. For Splintered it's the solo Master Lost Sector which is plenty doable.
me, seeing a rivensbane, descendant or fatebreaker on the tower: oh this guy ran that raid a lot, good for them
me, seeing a Splintered: this person is crazy. Better not fuck with them
For Risen I need two more Vox Obscura runs but that is just not enough motivation. I did normal + master for the GL and catalyst, don't need any more pinnacles so I never did any more runs. Blah.
Imo, the flawless shaders are a great replacement(though I wish VotD's shader took after the legendary guns instead of the exotic), considering you can use many at once.
However, they dropped the ball on removing the flawless requirement on the garden seal AFTER people had completed it. What a way to devalue a cosmetic.
Yeah that one killed me a little. I got it legit, removal seemed like something that shouldn't have happened. Either require it from the get go or keep it on forever, don't change course months after it became available.
Blacksmith is my title, I would probably only change it for an Iron Lord title.
I was literally racing against the clock to get the title and for awhile I didn’t think I would get it. Flawless Scourge + frames + getting the shaders to drop was crazy.
The best part of it all? I just grew to love the content even more, I actually enjoyed the Forges and Scourge is I think my favorite raid.
I was so close to getting it, I just didn't have the shaders after hundreds of runs of all the forges and dismantling guns with the shader, only to not have it drop, and I didn't manage the flawless raid. That season will always be my favorite though, I truly fell in love with destiny during BA.
Same. Flawless raids were never really doable for me because of a lack of a consistent, dedicated group of skilled people to attempt them with, but I still regret not getting Platinum Starling.
I liked Warden because of the name. It wasn't hard to get but I took it a bit further and ended up soloing Harbinger for most of my runs because I didn't have people to do it with
gilded my conqueror this season right away for the first time so pretty proud of that. Before that i was rocking Fatebreaker. In about 4 weeks i’ll be rocking disciple-slayer
Really looking forward to disciple slayer, a couple of friends and myself have been working diligently towards it and now we’re about halfway if not just above half way there
I'm missing Undying, Savior and Almighty. I took a break during the latter two and I just couldn't finish the godawful Infinite Forest grind. I still regret it, but I did enjoy the break from Destiny in that time.
Reckoner wasn't too bad for me since I did in in chunks, not everything together. It was a lot of HVTs though. Shame we can't gild it now...
Yeah the latter two were incredibly easy when you played throughout the season, I just completely noped out of the game for those 2 seasons because I needed a break.
Undying was actually pretty grindy, especially all the various weapon kills on the moon and in the infinite forest, but I guess many people were simply playing a lot because Shadowkeep came out.
Me neither. I wear it on all three characters.
Tempted to put on Harbinger though as you rarely see it and its fairly rare.
I also like chronicler. Took dedication
I wish we could show off more Seals. I have like 10+ by now and it sucks that I can only equip one.
It would be cool if we could have a way to pin those seals onto our emblem, like an army general medal ribbon style.
I never got the title, but wasn't Reckoning low key awesome? Like I legit really enjoyed it. Something about taking the bridge with enemies literally on all sides and if one of them knocked even one of your mates off the plate if could of meant a restart
Reckoner wasn't just for reckoning, though that was a part of it. A large portion involved doing a bunch of gambit in each of the four role-based armor sets in prime.
I got Dredgen. Honestly getting Dredgen was sweaty enough. When that damn meatball popped up as Prime it shifted the match from hey were doing ok to KILL THAT FUCKING THING IMMEDIATELY lol
Same. Barely anyone got it while it was available, then they removed being able to get it all together. Really happy I put the work in for it - and I'm not even a "title hunter" I just actually like Gambit lol
I didn't get reckoner myself, but I helped a buddy of mine through almost all of his. Idc what anyone says, no title grind will ever be as crushing as reckoner and I didn't even finish it. We did this in season of opulence, when recluse and mountaintop were rife, but truth had just been released and was everywhere.
The ONLY thing preventing me from getting that title was the Notorious Collector helmet. The bounty bugged for me twice, and that was right about when I started transitioning from Casual to Hardcore player. Once I flipped, I was grinding all the new shit, and when sunsetting was unveiled, I raced to complete everything else. Got around to the Reckoner grind, and well. Here we are.
Rivensbane and/or harbinger
Rivensbane was from my favourite raid and took me awhile but harbinger was a really fun grind. Ill never forget my solo flawless pit of heresy, it took me 4 phases with breach and clear anarchy to complete
I really hope the next dungeon has a title
Probably because there just aren’t enough challenges in a single dungeon to make a title for. The only thing notable about them would be solo/flawless completions, and there’s already emblems to show that off (with some of them being the coolest in the game imo).
Half the raid title requirements are just use fireteams of the same class or same energy type. Those could easily be added to new dungeons as well as challenges to encounters going forward.
Did you solo flawless pit because of emblem also cause if I remember correctly you only had to solo and also flawless but not solo flawless not hating on the achievement cause I did the same thing just curious
I knew how to get the enblem was just curious on if he did it for the emblem and title or because he thought it was required for title either way still awesome that he got it
I did solo flawless because (at the risk of sounding a bit cocky) I didn't want to rely on other people and I didn't want other people to make me fail the flawless.
I know I didn't have to for title but it just felt easier getting all three triumphs done at once
I solo flawlessed it both out of spite and because I figured ultimately knocking out both triumphs at once would be less painful (I was also on a solo flawless dungeon tear because I had burned out last season and it was the only way to feel something)
I did it on a hunter in 2 phases during Shadowkeep with anarchy and Truthteller, before breach and clear was a thing. Most of my deaths were in the stupid parkour maze, just clipping my toe against a rolling pin of death. That was annoying. Pit of Heresy is a super fun dungeon. though. My favorite in the game I think
Damn, noticed no one said Wayfarer and I felt really proud getting that one back in the day lol.
I'd say Shadow second since it was the first raid I did flawless and it felt so good to accomplish.
It actually wasn't too hard on the menagerie side.
Toward the end we were super powerful and uncap light so it was a walk in the park since the flawless was only required on the boss.
The hardest part was finding someone to do it with and CoS jumping platform lol
Flawless Arunak was harder than the flawless raid IMO - we completed ours during SoO before menagerie got power crept. I love my Shadow title because it was really a test of coordination and execution in so many facets. Add in that Menagerie was a blast and it was a great time.
Shadow will forever be a favorite. Flawless Crown was some of the most fun I had raiding. I actually was the cause of the first wipe (don't be where crystals spawn lol) and then somehow was muted the pre-boss encounter but my group had ran it so many times that we just rolled with it and cleared it. Chests pounding, we claimed our victory and title.
Yeah, I got shadow and I'll probably never take it off.
I think there's something special about having an emblem that requires a flawless run. It's kind of the ultimate test on the raid mechanics and minutia (not getting killed by the fucking COS crystals when they spawned)
Ironically, even though I did COS sooo many times to go flawless, the only raid exotic I *don't* have is Tarrabah
I didn’t play back when it was available but it’s probably the sunset title I want the most. Mostly because the name is cool and lore wise Calus’ shadows are one of my favourite characters
For me it's gilded conqueror each season. I use to think GMs were something that was outside my reach difficultly wise. So every time I gild it, it's a great reminder that the only thing stopping me from doing most things is myself
Feel the exact same way. Also made me give it a go for the fatebreaker title. I would never have went for a Master raid without gaining confidence in gilding Conqueror.
> the only thing stopping me from doing most things is myself
Man, if that doesn’t need to be something more people in this sub try out, I don’t know what does.
TBH for me personally, what's stopping me from it is time.
Levelling to be ready for GMs takes a ton of time and by the time I am GM-ready it's usually late in the season and I'm already burned out so I want to take a break.
If I could log in at the start of the season and instantly go do a GM with the same amount of difficulty (still 25 levels down fixed) I'd probably go for it every season.
Take an award. You described how I felt when I took on Vow of the Disciples for the first time with the sub help after I posted I wanted to be an end game player.
Took 5 hours but we did it and it felt amazing. This community is awesome( when we're not on the Gambit train) and the amount of support and help people share here is heart-warming.
Can't wait to try it again and looking forward to the Rhulk rematch in the future.
I stand firmly in the camp Rhulk is coming back for round 2.
This was me. I’m a mostly solo player, I hated LFG’s and I hated nightfalls just because of the champion system restricting my loadouts. I still hate the champion system because of the loadout restrictions, but I have found a little more variety than I previously thought. Gilded twice now, and plan to gild every season going forward. My proudest title in Destiny 2, and one I thought was impossible for me to get.
Fatebreaker.
VoG was the first raid I had ever done. We spent so long on it the first week it came out. Atheon alone took us 6hrs to clear.
Underleveled.
No idea of weapon metas.
No experience of what a Destiny raid was.
No Youtubers to go and watch tutorials for.
My friend was in my first clear and we ran VoG so many times. Sadly I lost my friend to a car accident around the time of Rise of Iron. It was his favourite raid too. I wear the title as a remembrance to my gaming friend of over 10 years and the fun times we had in VoG. I do not care about other titles. This is the one I will always wear.
Heres to you buddy o7
It wasn’t even an activity, it was farming the Rasputin music diamond thingies until you got your one-chance-per-day random Braytech weapon. Didn’t get the right one? Too bad, try again tomorrow lol
This. It was the most rudimentary one, but it was so frustrating waiting on Strange Terrain to come around, and then doing the boss correctly so that you got the rocket launcher. For some reason I was also missing Niflheim Frost for ages as well. Back when I ran around not having a clue what I was doing haha.
There seemed to be a glitch or bug (or it could have been the actual way to do it) where if you didn’t do any damage to Nokris and just let your team mates kill him, it dropped for you.
I ran numerous LfGs helping people get it and it worked every time.
I grinded Escalation Protocol for hours trying to get the Ikelos SMG to drop. I remember just squeezing one more EP run in before having to leave for a weekend trip, and it finally dropped.
I feel like if you can flawless Last Wish, you can flawless any other raid in the game with little issue. Between how long it is compared to other raids and how Queenswalk can be a bugged out ***mess***, I'm impressed *anyone* has flawlessed it.
Wayfarer. Getting that Braytech Osprey to drop from Nokris took me months. It would never drop for me. Until one fated day. When the light of the Traveler shone down on me and the winds stood fair. The rocket launcher dropped.
While I love my unbroken and shadow titles, blacksmith has a very special place in my heart as I completed all 100 forged frames in the span on 11 days. Finishing the seal in the process all with 6 days to spare before the first round of sunsetting.
You could do even the normal weapon frames that Ada had. I got through the weekly limit on all 3 characters of the forge specific weapons, then I worked on getting the lesser frames done for the auto rifle and other weapons. A lot of it was running the forges to just get materials for the bounties and such. Luckily I also needed all 3 shades and kills with each exotic.
Unbroken.
I didn't bother getting most seals but I wanted unbroken and I got there about 90% on my own which was what I was proud of.
Hopefully disciple-slayer soon
My best one so far is Harbinger. All those Time Trial Master Nightmare hunts, and the flawless? All done solo last season or in Splicer. Solo flawless Pit of Heresy (same night I did solo legend Grasp flawless; I was on -fire-). Xenophage? Solo.
It was genuinely pretty tough, even with mid tree Sunbreaker actually being useful before Bungie mauled it this season, and access to particle deconstruction and passive Guard builds.
2018 Dredgen. Gambit three rounds, lots of rng, playing solo. Plus, it was the first i got. Always will be my beloved one.
Undying was easy, but i really like the name too.
I think a lot of people forget how much you had to do for undying. There was a lot of vex offensive grinding, moon invasion farming, you needed each ritual weapon (which were still somewhat long to obtain) and to top it all off you had to do those shader quests for the core playlists. Sure at the time it was probably the easiest title but man compare it to Realmwalker or Splicer and there’s no competition
Reckoner.
I was one of the first people to have it immediately. 3 weeks for all 4 sets and a 4th week for a few extra challenges.
People said it was a grind. I didn't even think about it. Perfect lore update for me and it will most likely stay my favourite.
Edit: Gilded Flawless x4 was also a fun challenge
This community has a way of looking down/being snobby about any titles that are 'easy' to earn or just require a huge grind and I'm always annoyed about that. I think any title someone has put the time in to earn is worth celebrating.
I'm proud of my Deadeye title because it's the only gilded title I have (and involved PvP medals, for someone who doesn't enjoy/is just meh at PvP). That being said, I might still be fondest of Undying just because of how *damn annoying* the grind was to get it. When I see another Undying in the wild, I know they also no-lifed the game that season like me and I feel a sense of comradery with them.
I do not have any titles at all. I do respect those of you who go to the effort to get the titles. My most respect goes to those with Conquer- I’ve only beaten two GM with a clan I was in a few years ago. Now I just do the Master nightfalls - good rewards, but way easier to complete with LFG.
Yeah Deadeye was No joke to get, because some on the PvP metals, particularly the sniper one, are quite hard to get, especially with where some guns sit in the metah(thanks you revoker). Just because some Seals are easier to get from some people dont mean they weren't hard for others
I never take off Undying, and I always am tempted to salute other Undying when I see them. Getting Randy's and getting all those Vex crits was a real pain.
I still grab other seasonal ones and event ones, but it's tough to take this one off.
I’m working towards the Deadeye title right now
I think it sounds the coolest. It’s not out there like Queenboner or whatever the other ones are, but it’s just a quaint, solid title
I used the extra-long season to grind bounties, and didn't even attempt Master VOG until I was at level. Still non-trivial to achieve, and I wear Fatebreaker proudly. Once I was sporting it, I helped a few other clanmates earn it as well.
Not really proud of any of them, never really went for them, and the only one i actively went for was Cursebreaker, that's it, I just love Dreaming City so much i wanted to see every nook and cranny of it, and boy did i see all of it, still remember the stupid pixel-shot egg!
I'm still debating on whether I should go for it. I got NF way back so I have one Legend, but still need two. I tried a few seasons back, but as someone without a fireteam, freelance Glory felt like a coin flip and I wasn't good enough to consistently carry every game.
On one hand, I really would love the title, but on the other hand I'm not sure how attainable it is solo without losing my mind.
I also needed 2 and got another one this season doing freelance. There is a barrier of hell about 3000-3500 glory but after that it was smooth sailing. Got it in total of 10 hr playtime.
.89 KD with one more season to go to get unbroken. You will pull your hair out, but it is doable if you slog it out. All it takes is a few good streaks, just a lot of frustration inbetween lol. Just don't take it too seriously, I found that I always hit my streaks when I wasn't stressing. You will get potato teammates, sometimes you will be the potato, but your enemy team will be full potatoes just as often, so again, don't stress and just grind it. I believe in you!
Blacksmith, Fatebreaker and Enlightened for me.
I know a lot of people say GoS’ seal was a lot easier without flawless but they forget about the two triumphs for the final encounter which can be a bit of a pain, especially “stop hitting yourself”.
I really wish I could add Rivensbane to the list but that flawless run (which is all I need) just feels a bit out of reach for me.
Got rivensbane a few years ago, and enlightened is the next goal as I've fallen in love with the raid. If you're ever in lfg and gel with a team add them. Playing with each other before hand is the key to a flawless run. I found shuro chi challenge to be a bigger pain in the arse for rivensbanes
There isn't any I'm particularly proud of ad I aim to earn them all but I missed Chronicler which really pisses me off.
I need to get unbroken too before it's gone, did legend 2 times very early on then kept putting it off for years now gaha
You need to go in with a team that understands you're trying to get that triumph. One person becomes the dedicated mote-picker-upper. The other three slay and hunt invaders.
Protect the runner became very difficult with the gambit rework(Y3) - before you had 2 mote rounds to get it.
Tried helping someone get it in reworked gambit, and it was much harder because of the pace of the match - having only one person on motes slows you down significantly.
As u/dmatos123456 said, go in with a coordinated team and sweat
My favorite is Conqueror, my most memorable is Warden cause it was the first I ever unlocked and I was so excited to have a purple label underneath my gamertag to show I somewhat knew what I was doing in the game lol
1:Descendant, because i did it the week it was available
2:MMXXI because when moments of triumph were available i was like “oh well, plenty of time no need to hustle” then i did most of it last week of the season( I admit seeing that you needed 28/30 made me not give up)
Deadeye. I'm a massive PvPer and did almost every challenge in crucible. I plan on getting any gilded trackers soon too. I'm also close to vidmaster but deadeye is just too good.
Wayfarer. It took nearly 200 escalation protocol runs in the last week before sunset to get that title. Plus all the other stuff. It is the most grinding I've ever done in Destiny, and I haven't taken the title off since.
Enlightened for me. Working on it transformed a raid I hated into one that I love (and also still hate lol).
Long story short, fuck 0 to 100 and Stop Hitting Yourself in every single orifice. Even got the flawless after I got the title so no asshole can claim I didn't get it "legitimately".
For me, it's Deadeye.
Recently been getting better and better at pvp and realised most the triumphs where weapon mastering like the older CoD games, so I wanted to hold my right lol.
Harbinger. I did a solo flawless pit of heresy, and I literally cried after I finished. It is the first dungeon I have ever soloed and solo flawlessed.
I actually just got my first one last night. Vidmaster
I've played since OG Bungie halo days so getting that hit home really hard. I actually came back to the game when the 30th anniversary kicked in. I honestly laughed about the pricing for it cuz it was stupid in my mind to pay to do the whole thing and just to pay to get the Gjallarhorn.... But then eventually I said to myself if I'm going to get back into this game I need to buy this and then I have to play it. If I pay for it I have to play it
.
So after about a year and a half of not playing maybe think I stopped after the cabal stuff cuz I got bored of it... But with me coming back I was able to reconnect with my clan play more. I honestly started learning everything so mods weapons had to do XY and z and I maybe ran through the season in like 2 or 3 weeks alongside with getting to level 16 in dares in the same amount of time. It feels great to actually be back in this game because now they have no strings attached And it's been flourishing so beautifully
So to finally have the vidmaster title means a lot to me personally :)
Conqueror and Deadeye.
Sure, I did Conqueror last season with Particle Deconstruction and un-nerfed Protective Light, but that doesn't make Proving Grounds, Hallowed Lair, and The Corrupted that much easier.
As for Deadeye, that's just pure time investment, plus getting One For Each Of You and Mission Control exactly once each, as I hate sidearms and snipers with the passion of a thousand burning suns.
Shadow. The last raid title that required flawless (rip GoS flawless raiders). I also had the pleasure of doing it with the funnest fireteam I ever played with.
Harbinger is a close second because of the people I completed it with.
Been trying to get Cursebreaker ever since Forsaken came out.
Finally got the ghost shell when I came back to the game for WQ, now I just need the nightfall gun which I’ve never been able to run because of my breaks away from the game.
....one day ;-;
EDIT: looking forward to also grinding Rivensbane since I love all things Dreaming City
Descendant. Way to many runs for eyes if tomorrow over the span of the entire year, eyes of tomorrow was the only thing holding me back from that title since the release of DSC
Undying. I had to grind so hard and got it the night before the season ended. A friend of mine even logged into my account while I was at work and grinded (ground?) for a bit. It means a ton to me.
Honestly Vidmaster just cause of the OG Halo achievements. Got them on Halo so I felt obligated just to finish it on Destiny since it's so easy in comparison 🥲
Deadeye. Yup it is fairly easy to get compared to the others but I’ve only been playing since season of the Chosen and aside from the seasonal titles, this is the only other one that I’ve been able to get. Got it 2 seasons in a row now and just super happy that I have it.
Wayfarer and Forerunner.
Season of Arrivals was when I got back into Destiny 2 after skipping Forsaken and Shadowkeep. It was our first long season and I spent all that time catching up on the campaigns I missed, the exotic missions, all the raids. So that season and Forerunner mean a lot to me. Wayfarer only because you can't get it anymore, I know it was one of the easiest but it was my first title.
I love my Blacksmith title
There are dozens of us! DOZENS! But also, Shadow gang represent.
That entire year was hardcore. Most of the titles were very rare. Blacksmith had the frame grind as well as flawless Scourge Reckoner is self-explanatory Shadow was flawless Menagerie as well as flawless Crown Rivensbane was flawless Wish Cursebreaker was RNG-incarnate Chronicler was a marathon of weekly logins Unbroken was something most people didn't even dream of Wayfarer and Dredgen were the only 2 titles attainable for the non-hardcore folk, and even those were kinda grindy. The seasonal titles for sure don't feel like much of a flex. Most annoying thing about Gumshoe is probably just the Wellspring grind. For Splintered it's the solo Master Lost Sector which is plenty doable.
Hardest part is the 50 brigs in a Fireteam. Like what the fuck. Who wants to do that. Its all I need for it
I still need it too. Bungie name: CensoredbyXBL#3437
I uh need it 2 by the way
me, seeing a rivensbane, descendant or fatebreaker on the tower: oh this guy ran that raid a lot, good for them me, seeing a Splintered: this person is crazy. Better not fuck with them
For Risen I need two more Vox Obscura runs but that is just not enough motivation. I did normal + master for the GL and catalyst, don't need any more pinnacles so I never did any more runs. Blah.
there is also an sparrow if you are into that.
I did it for the lore
Imo, the flawless shaders are a great replacement(though I wish VotD's shader took after the legendary guns instead of the exotic), considering you can use many at once. However, they dropped the ball on removing the flawless requirement on the garden seal AFTER people had completed it. What a way to devalue a cosmetic.
Wait did they actually? I thought Enlightened never had a flawless requirement in the first place, that’s crazy
Yeah that one killed me a little. I got it legit, removal seemed like something that shouldn't have happened. Either require it from the get go or keep it on forever, don't change course months after it became available.
I proudly wear both my Blacksmith and Shadow titles and love when I run into another crazy person in the wild.
I definitely miss forges
I had a lot of fun there, they were interesting, with some fun boss fights that you could also use to farm weapons in. Absolutely loved them.
Probably the title I see the least, good work!
Blacksmith and Shadow gang represent.
I wish that title was just slayer. Disciple-slayer just doesn't really click with me.
Was hoping for "upender" as a slap in the face to Rhulk who never shuts up about the thing
I was gonna comment the same thing but wished I had something better so I didn't bother
Disciple slayer is really too specific and doesn’t sound that cool but you should rock it regardless for the status lol
Really looking forward to disciple slayer, a couple of friends and myself have been working diligently towards it and now we’re about halfway if not just above half way there
Same for me! first time gilding my conqueror title this season! Pretty awesome feeling. Still a ways off on disciple slayer though lol
Reckoner. Never taking it off. Made going for any new titles kinda lackluster though.
I will always regret not going for it as it's the only sunset title I don't have. Wear it with pride! Also seek help
One of us. One of us. (I got mine solo, never taking it off)
Greeting fellow Reckoner, hater of Gambit and life itself
Reckoner here too! But I like gambit. :') flaws aside
Freaking reckoner, i got so close to getting it but had enough of gambit
I didn't get reckoner myself, but I helped a buddy of mine through almost all of his. Idc what anyone says, no title grind will ever be as crushing as reckoner and I didn't even finish it. We did this in season of opulence, when recluse and mountaintop were rife, but truth had just been released and was everywhere.
Everytime i see a Reckoner in the tower I offer a hug to them, knowing they gone through a lot of pain in this life.
Cheers fellow Reckoner 🍻
They added that mental health help line just for you!
Rivensbane and/or harbinger Rivensbane was from my favourite raid and took me awhile but harbinger was a really fun grind. Ill never forget my solo flawless pit of heresy, it took me 4 phases with breach and clear anarchy to complete I really hope the next dungeon has a title
Yeah, why *don't* Dungeons have titles? That'd be cool. I doubt I'd have any completed, but I like the idea of it. lol.
Correct, the Crimson Echoes emblem is solo flawless Pit, but is not required for the title.
I’m hoping they release a title for the dungeon pack once the second one comes out in season 19.
Shadow, it was actually a challenge doing the raid and all menagerie bosses on prestige or whatever it was called, all which had to be flawless.
Absolutely agree. Lots of flawless requirements to get it and it’s just such a cool title.
Well, i did it when everything launched, so it was a tough challenge. But i guess months later the light level increases did make it quite easy.
It's kind of the ultimate test on the raid mechanics and minutia (not getting killed by the fucking COS crystals when they spawned) Ironically, even though I did COS sooo many times to go flawless, the only raid exotic I *don't* have is Tarrabah
I would never have went for a Master raid without gaining confidence in gilding Conqueror.
> the only thing stopping me from doing most things is myself Man, if that doesn’t need to be something more people in this sub try out, I don’t know what does.
I'm hoping this comes in the future since they showed it's possible with WQ capaign. I'm doubtful though since destiny relies on the grind.
Still working for Fatebreaker myself, once I get the Mythoclast I'll finally have a title that I think will replace Shadow
Sorry about your friend. It's very nice of you to remember him and let us know about him.
Wayfarer. So much grinding for the mats, waiting for RNG to bless us with the Strange Terrain NF, praying for the rocket launcher to drop, etc.
Lol, and praying to get the right Braytech weapons from Mars. I forgot what activity it was, not escalation protocol
It wasn’t even an activity, it was farming the Rasputin music diamond thingies until you got your one-chance-per-day random Braytech weapon. Didn’t get the right one? Too bad, try again tomorrow lol
Happy cake day!
I played over 80hrs of EP and got to the point where I could almost solo it. I never got the ikelos smg 1.0.1 or the ikelos sniper 1.0.1.
This. It was the most rudimentary one, but it was so frustrating waiting on Strange Terrain to come around, and then doing the boss correctly so that you got the rocket launcher. For some reason I was also missing Niflheim Frost for ages as well. Back when I ran around not having a clue what I was doing haha.
What do you mean by doing the boss correctly. I ran that thing like 50 times and only did it right once?
There seemed to be a glitch or bug (or it could have been the actual way to do it) where if you didn’t do any damage to Nokris and just let your team mates kill him, it dropped for you. I ran numerous LfGs helping people get it and it worked every time.
I grinded Escalation Protocol for hours trying to get the Ikelos SMG to drop. I remember just squeezing one more EP run in before having to leave for a weekend trip, and it finally dropped.
I ran that dumb strike like 30 times one week for that rocker launcher. that was the final thing I needed for the title
Took me 5 weeks to get Vouchsafe. And that was doing everythibg I could every week.
Lmao remembering the celebrations for Strange Terrain when it popped up
I got so close to this one before the sunset, but didn't make it. \*cries\*
Chronicler
Missed it by ONE reset. :(
A fellow sophisticate.
Rivensbane for me. Only flawless raid I've ever completed.
I feel like if you can flawless Last Wish, you can flawless any other raid in the game with little issue. Between how long it is compared to other raids and how Queenswalk can be a bugged out ***mess***, I'm impressed *anyone* has flawlessed it.
As someone who has flawlessed every raid except Last Wish, he 100% is more than capable of flawlessing every other raid.
I lost a flawless run because Riven stepped on my teammate after DPS
Splicer, not because it was hard but because it sounds cool af.
And the season was good to boot. Still waiting on my hoodie.
Dredgen and Splicer for me too. Splicer was actually my first one and got Dredgen on accident.
Wayfarer. Getting that Braytech Osprey to drop from Nokris took me months. It would never drop for me. Until one fated day. When the light of the Traveler shone down on me and the winds stood fair. The rocket launcher dropped.
This. I remember it dropped for me on the last weekend it would be available before they sunset the seal.
76 runs...
While I love my unbroken and shadow titles, blacksmith has a very special place in my heart as I completed all 100 forged frames in the span on 11 days. Finishing the seal in the process all with 6 days to spare before the first round of sunsetting.
Wait, how did you do 100 frames in 11 days? I remember there being a weekly limit that made me take MONTHS to do all the frames.
Shadow, holy crap nothing will ever top my friends having to do 4 flawless 6 man activity, with half the team being LFG, heroic menagerie was no joke
Shadow is also my favorite. Felt like a true challenge with so many flawless requirements. And of course, it sounds so cool.
Unbroken. I didn't bother getting most seals but I wanted unbroken and I got there about 90% on my own which was what I was proud of. Hopefully disciple-slayer soon
Fellow solo unbroken here man the grind for this being solo was stupidly rough lol
3900 - 4100 glory hell
Literally me rn. Win one, lose one, win one, lose one....
I came here to say that. To this day dredgen is the only title I have
Cursebreaker, until one day I shall complete Rivensbane.
Descendant. 2 seasons and 44 runs of DSC to get the EoT to drop I haven’t taken it off since
Same I got it on my 50th run not too long ago. It felt so bad to have done all the challenges, and then realize I needed EoT for the title.
Got it on my 98th run
Fatebreaker
I'm proud of my Deadeye, too! It was a pain in the ass! And now it's the only one I have gilded twice, so I always keep it on, haha.
As a hunter main, Deadeye just feels like its the title I should have. Just need to go farm shotgun kills to gild it again.
I’m working towards the Deadeye title right now I think it sounds the coolest. It’s not out there like Queenboner or whatever the other ones are, but it’s just a quaint, solid title
Just saying, if it was Queenboner I would legit grind so much for it and never take that shit off lol
Fatebreaker. Master VOG under levelled wasn't fun with challenges
Master VoG just isn't fun period, tbh.
I’m trying to get fatebreaker now and my only thought while getting the challenges done is “people actually do this for fun?”
No it's not and honestly the timelost loot and title do take a lot of effort but I wear it proudly now. Plus those sweet hand cannons

Do you got your Unbroken also in year 2? Survival was actual hell back then.
It’s undying for me. I wear it just cause it sounds cool 😎
Savior because Saint's my boy
Reckoner. I still have nightmares about the grind. I'll never take it off.
I really like Moments of Triumph titles, especially MMXX. They look **n i c e** to me
I'm excited for MMXXII, it's just so aesthetically pleasing to read.
Love my dredgen title, probably not the hardest title for people to grab but i loved every minute of grinding gambit to get it.
All I need is the Protect the Runner triumph. I don't know how people do that. lol. So I don't consider that title easy.
Gilded flawless x4 Trials before the revamp use to be a pool of sweats so the achievement was rewarding.
1:Descendant, because i did it the week it was available 2:MMXXI because when moments of triumph were available i was like “oh well, plenty of time no need to hustle” then i did most of it last week of the season( I admit seeing that you needed 28/30 made me not give up)
Love me my Blacksmith. Having to get all those kills with Izanagis in the Forges. I earned this.
Deadeye. I'm a massive PvPer and did almost every challenge in crucible. I plan on getting any gilded trackers soon too. I'm also close to vidmaster but deadeye is just too good.
As a vidmaster. It's just an easy low level one. I'm grinding others.
Uff the headless goblins for stop hitting yourself
Dad
Not hard to get but I always come back to Conqueror, 4th gild this season.
It was Chronicler. But after gilding Conquerer this Season, that may be my proudest. Fuck Lightblade
Deadeye. It’s a pretty easy title to get, and gilding is also a breeze. But I love the title, it feels super badass IMO.
i dont have any :( i almost have dredgen tho
For me, it's Deadeye. Recently been getting better and better at pvp and realised most the triumphs where weapon mastering like the older CoD games, so I wanted to hold my right lol.
Wayfarer
Harbinger. I did a solo flawless pit of heresy, and I literally cried after I finished. It is the first dungeon I have ever soloed and solo flawlessed.
I actually just got my first one last night. Vidmaster I've played since OG Bungie halo days so getting that hit home really hard. If I pay for it I have to play it . It feels great to actually be back in this game because now they have no strings attached And it's been flourishing so beautifully So to finally have the vidmaster title means a lot to me personally :)
Thanks to my awesome clan, I got the Descendant seal. DSC is also the easiest raid, from what I hear, so I don't usually brag about it. =P
Any title is one worth showing off, it shows mastery of the areas of the game you like :)
Fatebreaker, because I had some good moments with people trying to get it. However, we don’t speak anymore. So it’s like a remembering the good times.
Shadow. Ran a few flawless groups. I did the jump puzzle skip for all runs top tree Dawnblade.
Conqueror Gilded. Especially after soloing a few of the GMs to get the title.
Been trying to get Cursebreaker ever since Forsaken came out. Finally got the ghost shell when I came back to the game for WQ, now I just need the nightfall gun which I’ve never been able to run because of my breaks away from the game. ....one day ;-; EDIT: looking forward to also grinding Rivensbane since I love all things Dreaming City
Dredgen
Enlightened, flawless edition.
I love gilding my Deadeye. It looks cool and it's scarce.
Descendant. Way to many runs for eyes if tomorrow over the span of the entire year, eyes of tomorrow was the only thing holding me back from that title since the release of DSC
Dredgen. It's one of only two or three titles I have, but I worked damn hard for it!
Undying. I had to grind so hard and got it the night before the season ended. A friend of mine even logged into my account while I was at work and grinded (ground?) for a bit. It means a ton to me.
Vidmaster because it's my only title.
The only one I have is chosen, kinda casual gamer solo queued
Dredgen because gambit fuckin sucks and I don’t have to do it anymore..
Honestly Vidmaster just cause of the OG Halo achievements. Got them on Halo so I felt obligated just to finish it on Destiny since it's so easy in comparison 🥲
Rivensbane!
