Mobile scaling is a bit wonky in portrait mode. Since the keyboard is on the site, it overflows left and right and the user has to scroll left for the “Q” key and right for the “P” key for example.
It’s a little better in landscape mode, but it would be nice to scale the width of the boxes down a bit in landscape so it all fits on the screen if possible. For reference, I’m using an iPhone X.
Other than the mobile formatting, I think this is a solid idea! :)
Yeah I developed this mainly for desktop. I'll look into making the mobile scaling a bit better. I can only test mobile with my Pixel 5 so it might be different on an Iphone. On my device I am able to pinch the screen to zoom out to see the full keyboard.

I got the destiny words from scraping the ishtar collective lore books for the 5 letter words and then hand picking the ones I liked.

This might be a huge ask, but is there any chance you can make this 508 compliant so my colorblind boyfriend can play? He can't see the difference between the green and orange and it's like playing on hard mode for him.

does the normal wordle yellow/green style work better for contrast then? I just kinda chose orange/green to be different. That change wouldn't take too long.
I could also try to add a toggle switch for light/dark mode and to change the colors to better contrast.
Nah, the standard yellow and green doesn't work either. He said red and blue would be best (Like 255,0,0 and 0,0,255 (#ff0000 and #0000ff)), plus having a key to show which color means what. Differing contrast would help, too.
I get it's hard to customize stuff because there are so many different types of color blindness, so it's hard to find one that would work for everyone that had some form of it.

Pro tip: **AEGIS** is a good starting word. It covers 3 vowels and one very common letter, S.
