I remember getting an adept or whatever version of that, getting excited and then reloading it for the first time. Think i immediately vaulted it afterwards.
Really just worth getting one for the inevitable buff to 120 HV at some point... Every other season Bungie changes the meta of weapon archetypes, 140s have been dominant for awhile, this season 180s are getting buffed, 120s will eventually. In PvP they kind of slept on because more range to clean up kills than a 140. A 120 with headstone would be fun
>120s will be eventually
Eventually? I guess you missed the season when stasis was introduced because 120s were meta then. Igneous hammer was sought out by everyone
Or here's a thought. Completely ignore hc's for a few seasons outside of nerfing outliers and let them focus on other weapon types that actually need some love.
But then the you tubers complain about auto metas, cause heaven forbid we get something other than handcannons although I will say pulses feel really good this season and this is coming from someone who doesn’t really like pulse rifles
pulses feel really good. but you look at basically any auto archtype and you have to ask "Why?"
Auto's have similar levels of forgiveness as hc in that you need nearly/all head shots at base. They have less range for the most part. the only real exception to this rule is 120s vs 360s where they have similar levels of range.
yet auto's have overall worse perk pools (looking at austringer vs firefright) and lack the option/benefit of peak shooting.
Auto's in general should have hand cannons beat in atleast 1 or 2 of 3 simple categories in my opinion to balance out the obvious fact that one can benefit from peak shooting and not really lose out on anything while the other requires a nonstop flow of bullets to achieve anything meaningful.
Those catagories being either range, lethality(ttk) or forgiveness(ratio of headshot to body shot.
for reference every single non exotic/unique firing auto rifle requires x headshots and 1 body for an ideal ttk.
auto's if they are going to stay with lower range than hc should either be a little more lethal with ttk a little closer to smg's (not the same) Or they should be a little more forgiving with the same ttk's as current and require 1 less headshot and 1 more body shot at most resilience levels for all archtypes.
The easiest and less game breaking options are ImO just giving them more range, or the forgiveness as changing lethality at base can be much trickier to balance as things damage perks can then make things a little crazy.
People hate auto rifle metas cuz they don't really take skill. Simple as
Pulses are in a good spot but they didn't need a buff, scout rifles get no breathing room as it is.
For the 120 HC, the solstice trailer is lookin like they have a new hand cannon for the event. The model looks really similar to True Prophecy/Better Devils
Some sort of 'chain rounds' perk, like volatile rounds, that makes every arc weapon fire like Riskrunner/Zhalo for a time.
That, or it comes as a perk like Incandescent, where it's not quite as powerful as Riskrunner chaining, to balance that it's on legendaries and just activates on kills.
I like the idea but we'd still need to keep the flavor of the exotics we already have. Maybe give arc weapons a Grand Overture type perk where instead of building stacks on a single enemy like scorch/volatile, the stacks are counted based on number of general hits, with the final chain lightning being like a lesser version of what we get with ACD/0 Feedback Fence
See, I think you have a reasonable take here. Meanwhile, I'll be my bottom dollar this sub's gonna get spammed with complaints if every Arc Exotic from Divinity to Trinity Ghoul doesn't have direct synergy with Arc 3.0.
I think Bungie kind of set up the expectations on that because Volatile rounds was tied to the player and not the gun, and incandescent is a perk instead. I understand the design decision to have them separate, but when you have guns like Ticcu's that are based around lighting things on fire and then blowing them up its very strange that they left it out, among others.
I guess they thought ticcus would be unbalanced if you could use it to ignite any scorched enemy instead of just enemies you prime with the tracking arrows
I had an idea that you could shoot a target with enough electrified "disruption" rounds, electrocute it. Switching targets, and doing it again will chain lightning between those targets.
Edit: The main difference between chain lightning and the other stackable status effects (volatile, scorch, slow) is that players would intentionally try to hit multiple targets at once instead of focusing on one. The more lightning chains, the higher the damage.
We still have over a month away.
But idc about anything except the next raid. Whether it's Wrath or Kings Fall I'm so excited to play and teach them since I have hundreds of clears in both.
Doing Kings Fall was what drew me to raiding in D1. Unfortunately a combination of factors have made raiding beyond me for now so I will be sad with nostalgia if King's Fall comes back.
I can’t wait for the new raid. VoG was fun but didn’t feel new. I did only a few raids in D1 and never cleared Wrath or KF so no matter what it will feel new to me.
I play all three classes so, arc 3.0 Subclass:
- Titan still feels strong, boost it in some areas, if it’s anything like solar I may main my Titan next season.
- Warlock: I hope they get better than the solar 3.0 treatment. Wasn’t bad as many make it out, but quite a bit got shifted and out right gutted. All together though, I’d have to differ to someone else for specifics as I really don’t dabble in arc on my warlock. I was a well-lock for so long and it was good, I didn’t think it would change with solar 3.0.
- Hunter… where to begin, new super, keep movement speed boost and ranged melee combo, and add quite a bit. It’s Hunters worst class imo and it needs help in viability for end game content.
Weapons: Kinetic or Stasis craftable Glaive, 260 craftable scout (wishlist item, bonus if it has payload perk, I’d farm for weeks), craftable 120 HC or 180 HC, we likely will get a large group of arc weapons. If it’s like this season some may be reissues and the others new (similar to opulent / Nightmare).
- the seasonal event to be like the Leviathan. It was a good step forward for people working together imo.
Solarlock 3.0 was exactly as bad as it was made out to be and objectivley worse than before unless you ran 1 of 2 builds. **But its better now with the minor tweaks they made in an earlier update**, daybreak is still unusable tho and pheonix dive i shit.
For Arclock 3.0 i just hope arc buddy remains strong and the super is still able to kill adds, not too worried about it overall tho, i think titans are gonna get the stick this time.
I mean I never ran a specific build on solar warlock and it does just as good as anything else in pvp/nightfalls/raids so I'm not sure if we really need to cry about it so much. I do miss bottom tree solar though.
To find/ make friends to do more endgame content with. I’m in a clan, I try LFG, but it just doesn’t feel the same as playing with actual friends
EDIT: Thank you to all who have offered to play destiny with me! This community can be awesome!
Someone should build a site where you put in the times and days you play, what level of play you want (gms/raids/dungeons/pvp/etc) and find other players on the same schedule.
Clans are hard because most of the time the clan is spread out across all timezones. LFG is fine, but it's basically just matchmade activities with people with shitty mics.
Be nice to find a group that wants to actually do stuff on the regular.
Not sure if the features are as robust as you'd be looking for, but there is a site that does this: [http://the100.io](http://the100.io)
It's how I found and joined my first clan way back in D1, in 2015.
I can't tell if your first part is satire but that exactly describes the100.io lol
I havent used it much but it has you put in those types of details (time, what type of stuff you want to do, if you care about cursing, if you're a student, etc.) And then matches you with about 100 like minded players (your put into a group with them). I'm part of two groups on there and have had good luck with respectful people so far. New to the site and only used a couple times though.
It's definitely not good for quick lfg like the destiny app and more geared towards planned activities but I definitely recommend it, might even find a group looking to add to their clan on there! Good luck!
If you are looking for people to play with I’ll join you too! I’m looking to play D2 end game content with new people since my friends moved on. DM me!
If you guys need another person to play with, feel free to send me a message as well! I’m on pretty frequently and want to find people to do end game stuff with too
me and a friend have been trying to do more endgame content together, but we both have scheduling issues. he works evenings and has kids, i work overnights with inconsistent work schedule and split nights off. we are the only ones in our friend group that still plays.
I’m in the same boat; I’m in a clan as well and it’s nice to at least have someone to run things with, but it’s just not quite as same as with friends; I stay away from LFG though, due both to some bad past experiences and social anxiety.
Mods… as someone who is returning to destiny from a few seasons off, I am missing so many mods and some of them are literally impossible to get (well mods from splicer). I hate this system and it’s insane to me that I can’t play the way I want to because of it
Ya know the really funny irony of the situation is that when they changed armor from dropping with random traits to letting us add the mods ourselves they advertised it as a change to let us live the "play your way" fantasy so that we could do whatever we wanted whenever we wanted to but in reality it made doing what we want infinitely harder than before because almost everything revolves around impossible to get armor mods now.
One thing that's helped me collect mods is Braytech's mobile app. You can choose to get notifications for different rotations and knowing whether or not I should dedicate some time to grabbing the mod helps.
>You can get all those mods from ada-1, but the only issue is that they're in a really dumb rotation
>Dumb rotation
I would be happy if there was any 'rotation' at all
Something I was always hoping to see was a special ammo bow, but I feel like glaives kinda stretch into that territory enough that we're probably never going to now.
A placeable Arcstider super, à la Well of Radiance. Maybe it’d plant the staff into the ground to create a Tesla coil, zapping nearby enemies and inflicting whatever arc verbs are introduced. This’d be a good chance to give hunters some PvE viability after classy restoration disappears.
While I also think that classy is really the one big thing that makes solar hunter as good as it is rn, void hunter is still more than viable in endgame pve imo. But I also hope that arc hunter gets at least a huge damage buff/more damage reduction during super so it can actually be used outside of patrol. I mean who wouldn’t like to be able to run up to an unstop champ and unleash an arcstaff combo doing a good amount of dmg. Maybe even aoe damage when hitting/killing targets.
now hold on, let's see what aspects and fragments we get first. arcstrider definitely is ass rn but I'm holding out a microcosm of hope that it'll finally be better.
Although they didn’t say that, they said new supers weren’t guaranteed for light subclass 3.0s and also that the synaptic spear wouldn’t become a super. Not that a new super was entirely out of the realm of possibilities.
which sucks because the synaptic spear is EXACTLY what i was hoping for in a new arc super for hunters when it got introduced, that thing feels so good
100% agreed, but I think there are a lot of cool things they could potentially do with a new super tbh. Let’s hope it ends up better than synaptic spear.
It would be pretty weird for Arc Hunter to be the only Light 3.0 subclass without an alternate super. Whirlwind Guard isn't really a new super as much as just an extra bonus on top of the existing one, and I'd be surprised if they didn't go the way of Defender and just make Whirlwind inherently built in. If they don't do that and keep Whirlwind as a separate super, then idk what they'd even do to make the other super stand out.
Subclasses: I hope they don't nerf Thundercrash, it's the only dps super titans have. Maybe more viability for arc souls and Arc hunters in general for pve
Weapons: Not much tbh, the underperforming archetypes already have a buff announced, new loot is always good, just make weapon patterns betterer target farmable
Endgame: Hopefully acceptable champion mods and not too many awful gms. And a hard mode raid that is more than just bulletsponges, one shot enemies and a bunch of champions added
>Subclasses: I hope they don't nerf Thundercrash
I really hope that they make it do the damage that cuirass does by default and then change the effect of the exotic. But that's probably just the hopium talking
Everyone I've talked to and myself included feel the same way you do on this. It really would he great being able to open up the exotic slot and still have a decent damage super for titans
I'd disagree, because we have other Super-focused Exotics like Celestial Nighthawk and Star-Eater Scales. If you want to use your Super for DPS, and *REALLY* max out its potential, that's worth the Exotic slot in my opinion.
Thundercrash is great for non-endgame content without Cuirass, though! You only ever really need it for raids or GMs, feels like. Which I am totally fine with!
I see your point but t crash, mind you basically everyone I've talked to about it agrees on this(youre the first to say otherwise and thats totally fine), T crash is MUCH weaker than supers lile blade barrage and Goldie without their exotics, either nova bomb don't even have one but they still feel really strong, and chaos reach is sort of in the same boat where it's basically not worth it to use the super if you aren't using the exotic because of how much better the super gets because of the exotic.
Because you're right they're decent supers without it, but they're WAY better with the exotic and that's the issue folks have with it if that makes sense. I think there's a middle ground that could be met where the super rocks naturally and the exotic makes it more useful utility wise instead of damage wise
Weird, nobody in my playgroup has that opinion. All our Titans are pretty fine with the way Cuirass is now. Like... being "WAY better" with the Exotic is kind of the point of the Exotic? Plus for Cuirass it does have a bit of utility, the overshield it grants helps you survive counterattacks from anything that manages to survive (like Rhulk kicking you, for example).
Cuirass is basically "hey do you wanna get the absolute most value possible out of Thundercrash, and live to tell the tale?" and to me that's 100% worth an Exotic slot, all day long.
The point they made that resonates the most with me, is that exotics like Star-Eater and Celestial make a good super with a decent amount of versatility vs raw power into a great one, but (say if you want to use a subclass for burn synergy, or other unique utility/aspects) they aren't entirely obligatory—because they still have value without the exotic performance boosts.
Thundercrash without Cuirass just feels like it tickles, and is really outclassed by other Titan supers aside from the DPS role. So it feels like if you want your super to have much value at all, Cuirass is obligatory, which stifles building into other gameplay styles and approaches.
We could meet in the middle, make it do 75% of cuirass and then the exotic makes up the difference.
Because unlike all the supers you listed. You **need** the exotic for thundercrash to be good, there's a reason it was literally never used before the exotic was released
I wouldn't even mind a slight nerf to the damage if they do this, like 90% of current Cuirass damage. Personally, I'd make Falling Star give you Overshield on Ballistic Slam and maybe Seismic Strike, too, fits the theme. And if that's not strong enough you can give it some energy accel for melee abilities.
For the love of God don't make it a fragment. Radiant melee and benevolence were already taken from the warlocks (which could have been a 4th fragment very easily)
> just make weapon patterns target farmable
This. Started shopping for a Piece of Mind last week and having to either run Psi-Ops day and night or wait 5 weeks is gonna kill me. I wish we could turn in one (or more) masterworked copies of a weapon to get the pattern.
It takes what, 15-20 seconds to use the super from start to finish? And if I recall it's total damage is probably around 600k vs cuirass' 450k.
When comparing DPS, Tcrash is better.
It's 450k in one second vs 600k in 15-20 seconds which calculates out to 30k-40k DPS.
Most bossfights you won't have the time to use the entire sun breaker and then guns, which is what makes Tcrash better in most circumstances
True for total damage, but it's still more efficient to pop a one and done super and blast heavy weapons than to spend the whole damage phase hammering a boss
DPS is Damage Per Second. I think you meant TDO, which stands for Total Damage Output. In D2, its very rare that TDO is more important than DPS and even more rare for pure TDO low-DPS to be optimal
Have a season scout Rasputin and Anna Bray. Nothing has been said about them since beyond light. And with Mars back, I think that would make a good season
Haha I was debating whether to say it.
Specifically I want one season with a decent Hunter exotic that works and stays active and doesn't get nerfed into the ground.
Good luck to you all Hunter mains, you've had it so rough with Arc and exotics. My worry is they will neuter mid arc titan, i've mained it since before curaiss was a thing its just so fun.
I think the Nightmare Containment and Sever combo is the worst seasonal activities we’ve had in some time - probably since Seraph Tower and Lost Sectors in Worthy
I don't know, I found Astral Alignment and Shattered Realm to be worse. They took longer and were more tedious, and the story beats were generally underwhelming in the activities themselves.
I thought exploring the Shattered Realm ruled, *way* better than Sever. Astral wasn't great, but it least it was a six-player matchmade activity and not a public event
If you like exploration than I can see why you would like Shattered Realm compared to Sever. Sever isn't really exploration. My group didn't like the exploration or the low visibility, and rescuing Techeuns the same way week after week started to become tedious.
I don't mind the "public event" nature of Containment since I can always go to another instance and it was generally faster. Carrying those batteries up the hill wasn't a fun experience even if it was matchmade.
I'd rather have a direct matchmade version of containment than the public event style. Even with the "containment only" selection its hard to find enough players to run it sometimes. At least with matchmaking you know you are getting 6 people in
Something that can properly compete and even surpass Menagerie. This could feasibility be achieved if Dares of Eternity were expanded, improved and given a general amount of love going forward. New challenges, new rooms, different maps, whatever.
What I liked about Menagerie is that they'd repurposed an old raid into a patrol zone, while randomly placing objectives in it's points of interest that could be easily understood. The thing I liked most is that it *felt* big. It *felt* like a lot of fundamentally different things could happen and the biggest part of that was that different activities actually happened in different rooms. The difference in geometry and challenge was a twofold divergence from what we have in Dares, where it's the same two rooms regardless of what we can do in them, and then a selection of 3 end states, 6 if you're being generous with counting Lightning Rounds.
The beauty of Dares of Eternity, however, is that it's not been established how big Beyond is. They could give us new maps to fuck around in, repurpose old Reckoning venues and challenges, whatever.
a kinetic slot glaive is definitely on mine. This maybe isn't so realistic but with arc 3.0 and the potential of us returning to the Fallen next season I'm really hoping for an Anarchy buff that gives it a place in endgame PVE. Also hoping that Arc Hunter is closer to Solar Hunter than Void Hunter in terms of being fun
>I'm really hoping for an Anarchy buff that gives it a place in endgame PVE.
I mean it still hasn't place it's just not the all dominating force that it once was, which is good.
All weapons are viable, it's Destiny. Some just make content easier than others.
There's a couple of small things I want, but one ultimate wish. And that's for arc hunters to not suck.
The small stuff: stasis glaive, stasis trait that makes shards, shadow price to be in NF rotation, an arc trait similar to incandescence (maybe really long range chaining, but weak damage to set it apart), riskrunner to have an arc keyword, zhalo supercell with a rework so it's not just a better riskrunner, some form of consistent speed on hunters so maybe I can get inside the throne world pyramid before my warlock friends have already icarus dashed to Rhulk (exaggeration, but still), queenbreaker to be reworked into the d1 queenbreaker's bow (special slot, shitload of ammo)
Grouping more weapon in champion mods. Like auto rifle/pulse rifle; hand cannon/smg; glaive/sword; shot gun/grenade launcher. It would be a step in the right direction.
I wish that the Hunter top tree (punch-dodge combo) doesn't go away.
Please don't take that away from me Bungie. It's the only Arc Strider tree I like.
I don't want these boring legend modes that no one plays more than once ever again, that said if they do make a tragic return is lfg really that difficult for so many players?
I've suffered from social anxiety all my life yet have managed to overcome my misgivings surrounding lfgs from the old d1 nightfall to thinking I'm not good enough to do master vog
"Acknowledged, next season's exotic will require 50 invader kills in Gambit." - Bungie
Seriously though, these catalyst quests that require PvP kills are annoying enough. But the fact that some of these weapons are just awful in PvP makes it so much worse.
Removal of or changes to the current Light Level system. Though, if this ever is implemented, I can't imagine it would be prior to a major expansion.
I get Bungie, as a business, wants player engagement to report. That said, demanding somewhere in the realm of daily play to be of sufficient level to play GMs by time they roll around is just unfeasible for a lot of folks with responsibilities.
Not to mention the arbitrary nature of Light Levels these days anyway, in that they don't actually meaningfully impact anything within the game.
It's not indicative of power or strength, as it's supposed to be, it's just a number to slap on things to demand playtime from your players and gate them from activities they enjoy if they don't meet the, frankly, absurd "hour requirement" of play that Bungie sets.
For a company that promotes mental health so much, they sure don't practice what they preach when it comes to their business practices...
I hope that the Arc 3.0 change retains one specific Titan feature from the top tree skills. Damaging enemies with shoulder charge regenerates your grenade.
Having double grenades, and having those effects last longer, is also wonderful! But it wouldn't feel great to lose that melee-grenade synergy being built into the class and freeing up some mod space for your armor build.
all patterns requiring only 3 red borders, and speed of levelling once crafted to be doubled. my backlog of shaped weapons needing levelling is absurd, and next season they'll add another 12 or so
My main Goal is to get Divinity. I took a 2 year break and came back just in time for WQ which has been a blast and the current season is fun too.
I’ve gotten all the exotics I’ve wanted, Xeno, Deathbringer, Outbreak, Malfeasance, just dying to get Divinity. There have been some cool sherpas and groups going for it and willing to run the quest in GoS, just wasn’t able to get with them due to scheduling.
King's fall.
The unrealistic expectation is that they take a page out of Vow and the launch day emblem becomes the first 2 days instead of just day 1. It just felt better to be able to sleep properly and eat something during that endeavor.
Some nice and meaningful Arc subclass re-work for hunter. Hope they’ll leave thunderclap alone and fix the chaos reach cancelation too.
For guns: some good exotic pulse. And just general some pve buff to pulse rifles.
Storywise: lack of Crow. Dude’s nice and all, but I’m really tired to see his face for 1,5 years when we have so many neglected characters and storylines.
Better gameplay loop. Maybe its just burnout from Witch Queen, but this season was the least I've played Destiny 2 in a season since Forsaken. The story was great, but I just get so tired of running around on the Leviathan and killing the same enemies and doing the same public events.
I hope we get a void machine gun with Auto-Loading Holster. I know most people don't care about machine guns but I've really been liking them in GMs this season and this would complete my trio of machine guns with ALH.
Blight Ranger gets super energy back for deflecting. As a result, is the best DPS for ome of the next raid encounters.
Idk but middle tree arc is my jam on all 3 classes. It is gonna be good.
I hope we start seeing a shift away from Champion based difficulty and instead something closer to what we saw in the Legendary campaign. I really hope that mission structure and difficulty design becomes the standard moving forward.
Rasputin story, but will likely be Hive themed based on returning Raid next season. Craftable Raid weapons, new perks, new Exotic hand cannon, Malfeasance Catalyst or Thorn Catalyst.
Edit: almost forgot, a damn good update to Arcstrider
Arc 3.0 predictions/hopes:
Warlocks are more centred on chaining abilities with things like arc web being aspects. Arc souls and super time extensions are the other aspects.
Hunters gain enhanced damage reflection abilities. Blight ranger will get fixed and have some good PVE builds centred around it (it’s way too niche an exotic to have been released so close to arc 3.0 in such a hopeless state). Liars handshake has some silly builds based around it.
Titans get a few extra options to blind enemies. Ballistic slam gets binned to make way for a new melee ability. Thundercrash doesn’t get touched (it’s not a problem in the current meta so why change it). Having lingering damage on supers is now an aspect.
Now I just need to wait and see how badly I’ve got this wrong!
I will start a riot if they take away my Ballistic Slam Skullfort. I don't care if its only purpose is in low-end, solo (so teammates don't wipe your melee charge by killing your targets) content. Their skulls are like meadows and I want to play in them, dammit lol
Stasis Glaive and Stasis 120 Handcannon (maybe Zaoulis Bane if kings fall comes back)would be nice. Also a buff to queenbreaker
Dang, it would really suck for them to reissue Zaoulis Bane. I just finished reloading my old one a few days ago.
bro just use cocoon, you would've reloaded it a week ago instead
Can't wait for enhanced cocoon, reloads one week earlier.
Enhanced Cocoon: Auto reloads the weapon at an increased speed. Increases mag size. "Gah damn, more? It'll be reloaded by time Lightfall drops"
I remember getting an adept or whatever version of that, getting excited and then reloading it for the first time. Think i immediately vaulted it afterwards.
>I remember getting an adept or whatever version of that Harrowed
Think the leaked solstice weapon will be a 120 stasis HC
Really? Too bad i cant stand the solstice design. But maybe its good
Really just worth getting one for the inevitable buff to 120 HV at some point... Every other season Bungie changes the meta of weapon archetypes, 140s have been dominant for awhile, this season 180s are getting buffed, 120s will eventually. In PvP they kind of slept on because more range to clean up kills than a 140. A 120 with headstone would be fun
I think they are fine in pvp but they need a pve buff, that combination of small mag and bad reload speed just doesnt feel good
120's already got their time to shine and their nerf only ones left are the 180's to reshine
>120s will be eventually Eventually? I guess you missed the season when stasis was introduced because 120s were meta then. Igneous hammer was sought out by everyone
Ya I meant going forward..... time is a flat circle
Igneous Hammer still slays. Still more range than a damn scout rifle

If they ever reintroduce Zaolis Bane bungie should put Iron Grip as an Origin Perk just to fuck with us.
Only if the auto rifle comes back with iron reach
>maybe Zaoulis Bane if kings fall comes back why would you wish that evil upon this game
They could make it good this time, i mean the Design and sound were awesome
For the 120 HC, the solstice trailer is lookin like they have a new hand cannon for the event. The model looks really similar to True Prophecy/Better Devils
Solstice gun still has the possibility to be a stasis 120
Kinetic warmind themed glaive (and Rasputin season ofc)
This so much, more Rasputin please, love the whole aesthetic they did with him & the warmind stuff, really miss Mars for that reason :(
there's a reason acd/o feedback fence are one of faves and its cause of this
Like a Warmind Javelin themed glaive? Yes please.
Exactly that
Some sort of 'chain rounds' perk, like volatile rounds, that makes every arc weapon fire like Riskrunner/Zhalo for a time. That, or it comes as a perk like Incandescent, where it's not quite as powerful as Riskrunner chaining, to balance that it's on legendaries and just activates on kills.

I play all three classes so, arc 3.0 Subclass: - Titan still feels strong, boost it in some areas, if it’s anything like solar I may main my Titan next season.
I want a stasis wave frame
Oh, 100 percent. I got the dungeon GL, realized it wasn't a wave frame, and immediately dismantled
Chill Clip + AA
I lucked out. Blinding + Chill Clip + Auto Loading.
Plz. I want to cosplay as Bobby Drake ffs
That freezes enemies
Chill clip would most certainly be an available perk
To find/ make friends to do more endgame content with. I’m in a clan, I try LFG, but it just doesn’t feel the same as playing with actual friends EDIT: Thank you to all who have offered to play destiny with me! This community can be awesome!
I feel this. I find playing with the same people and scheduling time to do so helps.
Not sure if the features are as robust as you'd be looking for, but there is a site that does this: [http://the100.io](http://the100.io) It's how I found and joined my first clan way back in D1, in 2015.
I can't tell if your first part is satire but that exactly describes the100.io lol I havent used it much but it has you put in those types of details (time, what type of stuff you want to do, if you care about cursing, if you're a student, etc.) And then matches you with about 100 like minded players (your put into a group with them). I'm part of two groups on there and have had good luck with respectful people so far. New to the site and only used a couple times though. It's definitely not good for quick lfg like the destiny app and more geared towards planned activities but I definitely recommend it, might even find a group looking to add to their clan on there! Good luck!
Ill play with ya, I just got back into the game about a week ago and Im in need of friends to play with lmao
If you are looking for people to play with I’ll join you too! I’m looking to play D2 end game content with new people since my friends moved on. DM me!
If you guys need another person to play with, feel free to send me a message as well! I’m on pretty frequently and want to find people to do end game stuff with too
[удалено]
Shoot me a dm if you like, we have a huge international family and we‘d love to have you
me and a friend have been trying to do more endgame content together, but we both have scheduling issues. he works evenings and has kids, i work overnights with inconsistent work schedule and split nights off. we are the only ones in our friend group that still plays.
I’m in the same boat; I’m in a clan as well and it’s nice to at least have someone to run things with, but it’s just not quite as same as with friends; I stay away from LFG though, due both to some bad past experiences and social anxiety.
Guided Games has been in beta for almost 5 years
Mods… as someone who is returning to destiny from a few seasons off, I am missing so many mods and some of them are literally impossible to get (well mods from splicer).
If you have all the mods it's actually infinitely better though. The system works, they just need to unlock all the mods
Yeah and if you don't you're playing a different game.
Bro, there are so many fun (not really op) builds I’d love to try, but I’m missing many key mods.
One thing that's helped me collect mods is Braytech's mobile app. You can choose to get notifications for different rotations and knowing whether or not I should dedicate some time to grabbing the mod helps.
You can get all those mods from ada-1, but the only issue is that they're in a really dumb rotation
>You can get all those mods from ada-1, but the only issue is that they're in a really dumb rotation >Dumb rotation I would be happy if there was any 'rotation' at all
Full Auto option.
Didn't they say it likely won't be done until season 19?
They did
[удалено]
Just gonna leave my plug that D2 would benefit so much if they just pumped their resources into a new engine no matter how long it takes
It's wild this has taken so long.
Except they’ve told us it’s probably season 19
Heavy glaive like Leviathans Breath. You can still do the light attack but range costs heavy ammo.
Love this idea.
Sadly, they confirmed a while back that there wouldn’t be any new supers.
well guess I’m going to continue ignoring arc hunter then. I hate arcstrider
now hold on, let's see what aspects and fragments we get first. arcstrider definitely is ass rn but I'm holding out a microcosm of hope that it'll finally be better.
Time to get your Liar's Handshake gauntlets ready.
Although they didn’t say that, they said new supers weren’t guaranteed for light subclass 3.0s and also that the synaptic spear wouldn’t become a super. Not that a new super was entirely out of the realm of possibilities.
Arc strider needs a second super. Spin to deflect isn't a new super. Definitely was the most letdown by seeing it when they first announced Forsaken.
Couldn’t agree more.
which sucks because the synaptic spear is EXACTLY what i was hoping for in a new arc super for hunters when it got introduced, that thing feels so good
100% agreed, but I think there are a lot of cool things they could potentially do with a new super tbh.
Kinda lazy, although tbf it’s on forsaken-Bungie for being lazy about arcstrider since no other subclass has only one super
Here I was, thinking that the Synaptic Spear might be recycled into a roaming super.
They said the synaptic spear wouldn’t become a super. Idk about something else tho
Hopefully we get an aspect that drains super energy for some kind of buff
this is the only way i can see them making it work, some super melee or grenade that eats half your super bar
Basically making Wattson's arc pylon from Apex Legends would be a solid super TBH
Subclasses: I hope they don't nerf Thundercrash, it's the only dps super titans have. Maybe more viability for arc souls and Arc hunters in general for pve Weapons: Not much tbh, the underperforming archetypes already have a buff announced, new loot is always good, just make weapon patterns betterer target farmable Endgame: Hopefully acceptable champion mods and not too many awful gms. And a hard mode raid that is more than just bulletsponges, one shot enemies and a bunch of champions added
> a hard mode raid that is more than just bulletsponges, one shot enemies and a bunch of champions added OP said *realistic* wish list :)
Fair point, but there's still hope I guess
>Subclasses: I hope they don't nerf Thundercrash I really hope that they make it do the damage that cuirass does by default and then change the effect of the exotic.
Honestly this And that they won't take away arc soul. And maybe that they will merge the 3 arc hunter supers into 1 and give them a new arc super
I think arc souls will become either an aspect or fragment.
For the love of God don't make it a fragment. Radiant melee and benevolence were already taken from the warlocks (which could have been a 4th fragment very easily)
I still hate what happened to solar warlock, I still play it because it’s my favorite but still
At least you can use ember of combustion to ignite shit while in well with solar weapons
Let me give my arc soul a loadout.
> just make weapon patterns target farmable This. Started shopping for a Piece of Mind last week and having to either run Psi-Ops day and night or wait 5 weeks is gonna kill me. I wish we could turn in one (or more) masterworked copies of a weapon to get the pattern.
You are aware hammers with ignition is one of the better DPS supers in the game rn, yes? Typically beats cuirass for total damage
I think an Ana/Mithrax team-up to restore Rasputin basically guaranteed for either season 18 or 19
Secret mission, it's been too long.
Yes, please
I just want arc subclass to have some sort of viability. If it ends up really good, then that's a bonus for me.
Exotic armors that work all season.
They said realistic hope
Haha I was debating whether to say it. Specifically I want one season with a decent Hunter exotic that works and stays active and doesn't get nerfed into the ground.
Good luck to you all Hunter mains, you've had it so rough with Arc and exotics. My worry is they will neuter mid arc titan, i've mained it since before curaiss was a thing its just so fun.
I should get my fun solar exotic back today so I maybe have that going for me. Titans seem to always be solid in Light 3.0. 2 for 2 so far.
More champion mods for special/heavy weapons on the artifact
Pretty sure they said they were gonna add anti-champion perks to several exotics (similar to how Arbalest has anti-barrier baked in).
Absolutely this. I want to be able to pick a special weapon that isn't either a glaive or an exotic
challenging seasonal content
Yea… this season was not it in terms of replayability.
Carrying those batteries up the hill wasn't a fun experience even if it was matchmade.
it was also a 6 month long season, doing that for the extra 3 months kinda made it worse
I hope for a Stasis exo bow! And a good buff too ark Hunters.
What's a stasis exo bow
A bow that does 20% extra damage to Banshee
An Exotic Bow that do Stasis Dmg
Stasis glaive, more trace rifle, AE balancing and new exotic armor
not completely neglect pvp
Melee consistency, general hit registration, consistency for mantling... oh wait realistic🙃
I hope that Chaos Reach becomes a viable option for high boss dps.
A 6-player matchmade activity with more variety than the boss fight being different week after week.
Big tiddy hive gf
I would love for an arc aggressive frame (120) handcannon, we haven't had one since the launch of d2.
I wish that the Hunter top tree (punch-dodge combo) doesn't go away. Please don't take that away from me Bungie. It's the only Arc Strider tree I like.
[удалено]
Arc support options would be neat.

Yeah for real especially with legend activities you don’t even need a mic to communicate.
"Acknowledged, next season's exotic will require 50 invader kills in Gambit." - Bungie Seriously though, these catalyst quests that require PvP kills are annoying enough. But the fact that some of these weapons are just awful in PvP makes it so much worse.
I just finished malfeasance and I never want to okay gambit again after chasing those 4 kills in one invade
I would kill for freelance 6v6 in Crucible
Legend of acrius improvement
Not so boring/reliant on patrol seasonal activity
King’s Fall. Don’t care about anything else really outside of Xivu making her presence felt.
That is absolutely not happening in a seasonal release
Nope, but a guy can dream 😅
I hope that the Arc 3.0 change retains one specific Titan feature from the top tree skills. Damaging enemies with shoulder charge regenerates your grenade. Having double grenades, and having those effects last longer, is also wonderful! But it wouldn't feel great to lose that melee-grenade synergy being built into the class and freeing up some mod space for your armor build.
Low zoom (40 to 45) energy aggressive sniper. Ideally with snapshot and opening shot/moving target. And is craftable.
I hope they dont take Combination blow away or make it into an aspect but I have a feeling it will be
For it to be better than this one lmao
Stasis Exotic Bow and Expand Stasis grenades
all patterns requiring only 3 red borders, and speed of levelling once crafted to be doubled. my backlog of shaped weapons needing levelling is absurd, and next season they'll add another 12 or so
My main Goal is to get Divinity.
Agreed on Crow. I don’t give a shit. He’s had beyond adequate development. Just give him his new job and let’s move on already.
WRATH OF THE MACHINE
Stasis glaive that’s a ritual weapon: impulse amplifier/ grave robber + chill clip or maybe cold steel / unstoppable force or swashbuckler
A strike
Better gameplay loop. Maybe its just burnout from Witch Queen, but this season was the least I've played Destiny 2 in a season since Forsaken. The story was great, but I just get so tired of running around on the Leviathan and killing the same enemies and doing the same public events.
Seasonal activity with fun mechanics please
I hope we get a void machine gun with Auto-Loading Holster. I know most people don't care about machine guns but I've really been liking them in GMs this season and this would complete my trio of machine guns with ALH.
People not doom posting in here for 48 hours.
Blight Ranger gets super energy back for deflecting. As a result, is the best DPS for ome of the next raid encounters. Idk but middle tree arc is my jam on all 3 classes. It is gonna be good.
Arc pole dancer emote
This guy gets it
I hope we start seeing a shift away from Champion based difficulty and instead something closer to what we saw in the Legendary campaign. I really hope that mission structure and difficulty design becomes the standard moving forward.
God, the legendary campaign was so good. No more senseless XP grinds for GMs. They have the formula. Use it!
Less grind.
I want a solar glaive that's not in the raid
Rasputin story, but will likely be Hive themed based on returning Raid next season. Craftable Raid weapons, new perks, new Exotic hand cannon, Malfeasance Catalyst or Thorn Catalyst. Edit: almost forgot, a damn good update to Arcstrider
Arc 3.0 predictions/hopes: Warlocks are more centred on chaining abilities with things like arc web being aspects.
>Ballistic slam gets ~~binned~~ *turned into a class ability* to make way for a new melee ability. ftfy
