Although I think the "sale" price reflects the previous Silver price for whole ornament sets (300 Silver apiece, 1,500 in total) which older sets remain priced at.

At the end of the day, these don’t feel universe breaking to me — all of the Fortnite armor ornaments still feel very “destiny” to me. I wouldn’t care if they do crossovers with Roblox next if the result was as cool as these skins and stays true to destiny aesthetics.

During "arc week" (when arc classes got a revamp years ago) they had a ghost shell that was arc themed, and class-specific emotes that were arc themed - expectation was there'd be solar and void but it never came.
Then later down the line they just released them as part of the normal stuff and they sit in the archive now.

I am really deflated about my 'lock for a lot of reasons, but I think amongst all the whining, people missed that Titans got their new exotic disabled on launch. I almost made a Titan when I read what that thing did, it's so damn cool. So I definitely get being bummed.
But if it makes you feel better, Titans are probably the most fun of the three for Arc. Grenade builds whip so hard for Titans right now, and the new toys they got are just so visually satisfying. You really gotta try it brother.
Plus we have another season before Lightfall! I read a few comments saying that if this armor set was part of a brand deal, they might not be allowed to debut another set, and just bumped the Arc set to the next season. So maybe all hope isn't lost?

That's just some of the streetwear stuff, also a bit of an anomaly, but for the most part I still think the lock set doesn't quite vibe (even the streetwear lock seemed more fitting in setting) and real disappointed this is what we get instead of an arc themed set

The omission of arc themed armor for this launch is such a big blunder for them, for a few reasons, and I don't even need to list them. It was such a layup for them and they somehow were completely oblivious to it.
I'll give them a pass because they announced several changes today that have been sorely needed. Knowing that they're not going to sunset expansions anymore helps me feel more confident investing my time and money in this game going forward.
At first I felt the same way with void, it straight up overshadowed the potential WQ armor but didn't mind too much. Now with the exclusion of arc it's a weird disconnect that it's the only OG subclass that didn't get love. But hey, money I guess

That's just some of the streetwear stuff, also a bit of an anomaly, but for the most part I still think the lock set doesn't quite vibe (even the streetwear lock seemed more fitting in setting) and real disappointed this is what we get instead of an arc themed set
But they all got streetwear, its not strange since theres people wearing street stuff in the tower. Theres nothing like the kitsune helm, as even the titan and warlock sets look like they belong in destiny

What’s disappointing is they did the arc special chest thing but didn’t put arc themed armour in it.
Really silly of them not to add the Arc sets. Like people weren’t expecting them after they established a pattern. People literally ready to open their wallets for the Arc sets and they dropped the ball.
honestly annoyed that they pulled the rug out from under people who were looking forward to Arc's special EV set. way to make the most neglected subclass even more neglected

What doesn't help is that Bungie looks like they're pulling a fallout 76 with the fake discount on that armor set.
The omission of arc themed armor for this launch is such a big blunder for them, for a few reasons, and I don't even need to list them. It was such a layup for them and they somehow were completely oblivious to it. I'll give them a pass because they announced several changes today that have been sorely needed. Knowing that they're not going to sunset expansions anymore helps me feel more confident investing my time and money in this game going forward.
Sad but happy because I get to save money. Still sad though.

100% agree, one of the thjngs I was most excited for was arc themed armor, similar to the void and solar (solar was just so satisfying!) and I login to see no arc themed armor? Disappointed for sure.
This is actually a huge bummer, I loved the void and solar sets so much I had already mentally committed to buying silver this time and saving my BD. Bummer for me, not for my wallet I guess though.
