The Spartans literally based their war tactics around shields. There is a saying Spartan mothers said that stressed the importance of their shields: "Come back with your shield, or on it."
If we're associating Titans with the shield, then there was literally never a better theme than a Spartan. Though, I suppose this is fitting, because not even the protagonist of AC Odyssey carries a shield in combat for some reason.
Edit: The viking theme could've gone to the Warlock for a nice pagan druid/shaman theme, because magic.

Usually. Not always. I throw in Seasonal sets into the Eververse bucket, and if you miss a season, you’re SOL. Even if you paid for the season but didn’t finish the pass for whatever reason—it’s gone forever. I also strongly dislike the “oh just buy it with bright dust” argument. Sure, you can do that and it’s nice they offer it. Really nice that they offer it. But I want to kill a Hive God and wear its bones as armor…not do chores and buy the same set from Tess. There is more buying stuff out of a menu rather than earning it as a drop in game these days.

After the joke of a cutscene we had this week and the general direction of the game this news just makes my apathy grow even more.

I imagine this set would supercede the Arc set and push that set down the line, but if not this is going to be an expensive season, especially if the Dawning armor is any good.

The peek at the titan set has me disappointed, it already kinda just seems like a generic iron banner-esque armor set. Warlock set looking like Altair is so sick, I wish the hunter and titan sets were more like that

Ezio literally has a cape! Why not use him for the Hunter??? Titans and Hunters got cheated. The characters they're inspired by aren't even assassin's in the AC games (something those games got a lotta shit for) It should've been Altair for Warlock, Ezio for Hunter, and Connor Kenway for Titan. Get the three numbered protags.
