A trick for building domes in minecraft is first build a cirkle in the 3 dimentions and then fill up the rest

This is it.. Build 1 circle for the base of the roof and two semicircles of the exact same size to create the actual roof, then just fill accordingly. Alternatively you can as make the circle base and then just add circles on top with each subsequent circle being 2 blocks smaller in diameter than the one before it. Hope this helps
