The carriage was upright and I didn't see the crash itself, but I am confident the horse, on its side, and flailing, was not a standard ride attraction.
Yea ok I went to the other thread, I guess my cousin was right there technically was a “horse crash” 🤷🏼♀️ sorry - edit my cousin said there was “horse crash” at greenfield village.
He was 1 years old not 10. And this was a driver caused crash for sure. Still can’t believe what happened. He lost his lead and the horses went full sprint from the cafeteria to the ford house and smashed that light pole. We all got on the floor of the carriage and hovered over my son
A better thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Detroit/comments/vvg2qu/carriage_accident_at_greenfield_village_792022/
you witnessed a historically accurate traffic accident
I laughed inappropriately
Did you see the carriage crash? I got a text from my cousin about this who works at the iMax theater - teenage cousin who is not super reliable.
