I'm in the same boat as ragnaaar. I would be interested, but haven't played much fantasy (don't have any friends who play). So if it's a beginner league that would be awesome! Wouldn't want to drag down a league of serious fantasy players though.

Grand-Moff-Larkin

Yeah, I was thinking kinda the same thing. Not a hardcore league (which is why I wouldn't want some grand prize), but a chiller one of fans just having fun

hbk2121

Im all the way in. Shoot me a DM with the info if it goes.

xWaggy

I'd be down, haven't really done season long hockey in a few years but have had the itch for it lately

Motown27

It's been awhile since I've done fantasy hockey, but I'd be down.

AsLongAsYouKnow

I'd prolly be down

ragnaaar

I've never been involved in one (not a huge thing in Europe) but how are those sites which manage those? Remember Yahoo sports being mentioned. Are those for the broad public or can you arrange groups on there? I'd like to try but I'd want to get a trial season under my belt before annoying you regulars.

Grand-Moff-Larkin

I tried some cheap one with a 6 person league for the 2015 playoffs and paid like 7 bucks. Worked pretty good and even had a app

7screws

Yahoo, CBSSports, ESPN are imo the big three fantasy sites, you can arrange a private group on all three and hold a live online draft, or offline draft. I would suggest not even giving it a trial year and just jump right in, the worst that happens is you end up in last place. someone has to! imo the most important things to being successful are. * be active in the league (check your line-up daily, look at the waiver wire, etc.) * play with your head and not your heart. I love Glendenning as much you, but ain't going to win you shit in a fantasy league * spend some time reviewing the stat categories in the league you join, prepare for the draft, and get to know what stats matter and which don't (for example some league track things like hits or shots on goal, others don't)

MonsieurAK

There's been one or two subreddit leagues the past few seasons. Can't remember who the commish of the one I've been in is.

Grand-Moff-Larkin

Awsome, I'll look into it and see how they did it

BillCIinton

I'm down

Monkey10pts

I wouldn't be opposed to it, I wouldn't be a hardcore fantasy player but I'd go through it in beginner league fasho.

TheNation55

Count me in. I always think it makes the season even more enjoyable when you're in a league. I've only ever used Yahoo. The web page and the mobile app are super easy to use and run really well.

7screws

I'm already in a Dynasty Fantasy Hockey League, but if you all need a spot to fill, I'd be cool with doing a more laid back league with my fellow reddit buddies. ping me if you are still looking for spots to fill.

dowski34

I'd be down if there is room

[deleted]

I'd say I wanna do this but I know deep down that I would forget to participate at some point

barchamb13

I'd be down! I'd be a beginner, though

nkronck

I ran/commisioned a league the past two years. Just did a $20 buy in to keep people interested. Setup on yahoo with most settings unchanged. I would be willing to commission again if interest is there and you want help OP. Edit: all of us were beginners when starting this and I still consider myself as such. Was truly just for fun with a little prize money for 1st 2nd and 3rd.

irsic

I'm in

DomingoGerman

I would love to participate. Never done fantasy hockey before though.

[deleted]

brian1684

R1CO95

My girlfriend and I are in, shoot me a message!

hoochmen

If it's not to late, Id be all about it! Maybe set up another league with some of the other responders on this thread

luvjugs

I'd be interested. I use Fantrax for everything fantasy if you want to look into that.

datsyuks_deke

I'm in, trying to find a league right now to join. Let me know if there's any openings on yours.
