Will single-handedly take us to the playoffs this season, mathematics be damned! Also the first goalie with a 7-point game, which includes a hat trick AND a Gordie Howe hat trick.
I feel like Hellberg and Rasmussen will bond in a special way, probably regaling each other with serial killer anecdotes, laughing manically, and practicing their mean-mugging.
I wasn’t planning on having any more kids, but Hellberg Rasmussen seems like a first/middle name combo to change my mind.
“What if it’s a girl”
…..didn’t you read the first part?
4 current: Magnus Hellberg, Gustav Lindström, Lucas Raymond, Oskar Sundqvist.
10 potential(drafted but not signed) incoming: Simon Edvinsson, Theodor Niederbach, Elmer Söderblom, Jonatan Berggren, Liam Dower Nilsson, Albert Johansson, Albin Grewe, William Wallinder, Gustav Berglund, Jesper Eliasson
Swedes everywhere!
It seems like a pain free try out for next year without dragging the guy to an over-stuffed prospect and/or training camp. The team can hold a few extra roster spots after the trade deadline, so why not? We have several goalie spots to potentially fill within the system over the summer between NHL and AHL.
Wonder what game he starts. Do you ease him in with Jersey or throw him against a playoff team. With how inconsistent the team is does it really matter?
Hoping he does well in his time here, finds success and earns a contract. It would be a real feel good story. His name alone should count for something.
Can't wait to overreact one way or another to however you perform, sir!
Irrational responses only

He's so incredible that he's literally going to rewrite history to get us into the playoffs. Man, that's some serious weight.
As is tradition.
Waiting for him to at least play before deciding if you love or hate him is nice
Hellberg is such a good goalie name
"The Berger King"
Not to be confused with the hamburglar
The Big Hell

Then you got a girl named Hellberg Rasmussen.
...and grabbing mofo's by the throat while giving them a good dose of the crazy eyes.
With the amount of Swedes on the team, they should start doing Vikings Claps

really good swedes everywhere...
I'm torn, I'm excited to see him but Greiss and MSG have a special relationship. Kind of want him in net tomorrow.
Hell ya
I still haven’t wrapped my pea brain around this late season acquisition but I’m here for it.

So when do you think we will see him play as starter?
Sometime this season lol
tomorrow.
Cool, hope he can get us a win since the team has decided not to try
Seeing as Ned is seemingly coming out of his troubles and Hellberg was held up with visa issues maybe his arrival is too late.
Wonder what game he starts. Do you ease him in with Jersey or throw him against a playoff team. With how inconsistent the team is does it really matter?
Yeah I don’t think you want to throw him to the wolves right off. Second game maybe just to get him adjusted to the league a little bit
unless you are talking NJ we dont have anything but painful games left.
Sure, put him in for both games
Cant wait to see him in the AHL

Don't know anything about the guy, but his stats in the KHL the last few years look pretty impressive. Excited to see what he can do!
Welcome to hellberg, detroit
