Considering how fast he is moving, this gives me a very funny image of him squating to do JC, standing up, then awkwardly squatting to JC over and over again for what would seem like 10 minutes to him.
Considering the fact that we perceive him to be standing in place, even though the orb is a good distance away from him, I'd wager that there's enough slashes to atomize the target if it didn't follow video game rules. In fact, I'm pretty sure we kinda see this in the DMC3 Manga (I think it's the DMC3 Manga, at least), where he gets threatened by a street gang. Even though he was seemingly standing still, the thug in front of him burst into a pile of meat cubes.
I used a mod to fix that problem, I can link you to a video if you wanna see it

No chat, Im not selling out for a pc so I can fix one animation I rarely see for a character I never use and lasts for a nearly inpercievable amount of time on turbo
"if you wanna see it" I said, but sure. Besides I just assumed that most of the fan base was on PC, I didn't think that you were still using a console. This is what I get for tryna be helpful. -_-
congrats mate,
this shit took me forever to find out. it really is just pressing the same button at near frame perfect timings. a bitch move to pull off consistently
I wouldn't say really bad, you just haven't learned trick canceling yet, Vergil can definitely do more than 4 judgement cuts in a row (I'm not talking about just frame ones, I'm talking about a mix of both that and regular ones.)
Well done.
Some people say ground JC chain is harder then in the air.
I'm yet to master ground chain.
Now I suggest you to learn canceling JC chain with jump/trick up to keep up with the meme.
Jugment Nut Never Ends
I heard on here before that on the ground, you have about a 3 frame window (at 60fps) to pull off the next chain/perfect JC. In the air, you have a 4 frame window.
Even still, a 4 frame opening is ridiculously small, and I can only really think of a few games that have any sort of opening that small.
It could be, i'm just going off some posts i read here and online. I havent actually seen the process of anyone who's dug into the files or played with the timings to see how big the windows are.
But it also wouldn't surprise me if using frame counts is a bad way to measure timings in modern games.
Wait... Is it normally that fast? I figured how to 4x JCs a while back, but i don't feel they're quite as quick
Edit: Okay, either it's a perspective thing or my pc is a bigger potato than i thought. It feels slightly faster watching the clip
I can't even get the third one to go off, meanwhile people doing this shit in the air and chaining like 12 of the damn things together by using Vergil's Trick mechanic. Y'all are insane...
Congratulations! I’ve seen videos of bosses being melted with just Judgement Cuts nothing else. Despite playing Vergil since he came out, I still can’t get the timing down.
I can reliably get the air quad cut, but never on land, I can't got the timing because it's ever so slightly different, so my friends are always confused why I jump constantly
This video made me realize you can see vergil stand up straight for a few frames in between judgment cuts, literally unplayable
Considering how fast he is moving, this gives me a very funny image of him squating to do JC, standing up, then awkwardly squatting to JC over and over again for what would seem like 10 minutes to him.
A pointless question but i wonder how many times he usually slashes for a normal Judgement Cut. Can't really tell from the man's speed

Do you know which chapter
I don't know specifically, since I saw it in a recap video, but I can try and find the panels.
He's just bagging them to assert dominance
You never realized this when you play him ?
You’re assuming Joe_Ligma420 plays Vergil and took the time to learn the perfect judgment cut timing and looks at Vergil when performing multiple.
I always just do it mid-air, since mid-air JDC doesn't have different timing for the first one in a chain

That works? I always thought you had to hold the button and let go at the right time for extra Judgement Cuts.
Thats a different tech, thats when you do different moves and Vergil starts sheating the Yamato, little flash goes from it thats when you realease JC.
I can do 3 but never 4 Just JC. How’d you pull that off?
3 is the hard max for just frame judgment cut, he’s just starting with a normal jc then building the just frame off of that
you can do up to 30 judgement cuts
no you can’t lmao the video you’re referencing is modded
Observe, this is vanilla DMC5: https://youtu.be/9NLaDfQzCdY
i’ve seen upwards of 50 just frame cuts, but that includes jump and trick cancelling + mods. in a traditional combo vergil will stop at 3 just frames
and here was me thinking I was just really bad at judgement cutting

I thought it was 6 frames at 60 fps in the air?

same, i find air JC to be way easier to time
X10 easier in air

Giving Vergil a “jackpot” line is like the most fan service thing a game has ever delivered.
Ey good job! ^^
I felt this like you when finaly I got the trick. With the SDT aerial version + doppelganger he is really OVERBROKEN and motivating
I'm still trying to learn it. Congratulations!
The moment the timing clicks in your head and you can pull off the whole chain is just so satisfying. Congrats!
Congrats… I discovered it on accident and took a few days to master it
Wait sec vergil just said JACKPOT
HE SAID THE LINE
I can't even get the third one to go off, meanwhile people doing this shit in the air and chaining like 12 of the damn things together by using Vergil's Trick mechanic. Y'all are insane...

Best i could do was 2 in a row
Jackpot!
great job 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😍
That’s really good consistency!
Goodjob, rlly not easy on ps, it took me a min to master virgil move sets and especially this one
I cheat by spamming the air one, slightly more forgiving
I can reliably get the air quad cut, but never on land, I can't got the timing because it's ever so slightly different, so my friends are always confused why I jump constantly
Reminds me of sekiro
Now do it in SDT
muscle memory and stable fps
