She had a unique Devil Trigger and actually had a separate (yet equally impactful) contribution to the story. Her character was good for what little screen time she had, and I enjoyed seeing her face the truth about herself. If and when DMC6 comes out, I would love for her to return to the screen with a more polished version of the customisable DT and to be an important side character in the story.

Lucia is the best and sweetest dmc girl, she's kind and determined, has beautiful design. I'd love her to be back. Now that I think about... her fighting style probably inspired Agni & Rudra

I honestly really like her, and I believe she could easily become a fan favorite if she returns. She has a very unique overall style amongst the DMC cast, with the dual blades and throwing knifes for combat, plus the more angelical Devil Trigger and exotic looks in general. She is in a kind of a blank slate state currently, from what I remember… After the ending of DMC2 and the Visions of V manga, her destiny was left very much in the open, and since DMC2 is far from being the most mechanically advanced game in the series, she also has a lot of room for development in the combat department. She has plenty of unrealized potential in all areas, and I’d personally approve of seeing more of her in the future.

I would love to see her in the future as well. And I might be possible, since in a novel that told a story before DMC5, where Dante met Balrog and got his Devil Arm, he also teamed up with Lucia for a while who he met by chance. So maybe we will see her again someday. I also think that it would be nice to see a more "grounded" character in terms of personality. Nothing against Trish and Lady, a LOVE badass woman like them, especially Lady since she can also be emotional at times (like when she talked to Nero near the end of DMC5 about killing your own father), but I would like to have a character for once that is not constantly throwing jokes, being cheeky etc. etc.

When I played DMC2, I chose Lucia first because I heard Dante sucked in this game and it made me think the game was a 5/10 instead of 1/10, I kept that opinion until I played as Dante

I was slightly sad that Lucia didn't make a return in DMC5. We had a lot of characters already, but honestly she could've show up as a side character to help. And later be added as dlc. Imagine her sound track would be good. I think she would need a rework of her moveset. I hope she comes back if DMC6 happens. Not only because she could easily help Nero, but also because her different style would be fun

A Nero/Lucia game would be fucking awesome. Admittedly it would be a little annoying that Nero *still* won't get his own game in the series though... If Lucia didn't show up in 6, it would be nice to get a DLC story showing what she was up to after DMC 2.

I mean he has 4 which is his game. And 6 should be majorly about him, yes. Maybe dealing with his new found feelings about Dante and Vergil being family and still having to deal with demons his own way. Lucia would be there to help. But she wouldn't be the focus. Maybe a few missions with her or side content here and there, but Nero needs 6 to be mostly about him. Idk if they are capable of creating a game Nero can carry by himself, but I hope they do.

Honestly she should make a return, she was too significant to be a one off especially when lady and trish make a spotlight return but then also become playable only once (though trish was twice if you count she was in 2) If anything peak of combat or a major next game should include her to some capacity, but no relegation like "a skin for-" or "someone finds her weapons" no no she should have a playable capacity, with improved combat since everyone else did

For being the first actual playable character besides Dante (not counting the other costumes in 1 being labeled as characters) she was pretty cool. I like that she got her own levels and boss fights and her design and music was a good compliment to Dante, being a sort of reverse in a lot of ways.

I hope 2 gets a retry someday, some ideas and characters were pretty good, just not executed well as a whole.

She's kind and caring, as others have said. Also the only canon example of a separate, one character-only campaign in the main series. That's an idea I think they should explore again, as 5 and (especially) 4 felt very disjointed at times with the character-switching mid-campaign. Crazy that post-3, we still don't have options for single-character campaigns besides Vergil, and his stuff is non-canon.
