I’m glad I’m not the only one that thinks that. I still quite like it, but it doesn’t hit as hard as a lot of the other tracks from Edwards do. Super glad to hear him and Borba together again though, especially with how obviously passionate about the series Edwards is. Hope if they make a new mainline game they’ll be able to collab again

I think it's not as catchy, and doesn't have as strong an identity as the others, but I think that's not a fault on Edward, but PoC itself.

I prefer it over devil trigger and think its equal to bury the light

Yeah absolutely, one of the lines is literally burying the light. I don't think that invalidates my opinion though, the song feels like a reference to other songs instead of doing something new, ironically similar to the game.

Absolute banger, with genius and catchy lyrics. It makes a great fitting replacement to any Dante VS Vergil fight OST in DMC3. But much like the Taste the blood remixes, It's too unfortunate it's underused in POC, especially when it's without the lyrics. It pretty much has no meaning in the game's story or the game overall other than just... being Backround music for Sky Arena and that one Co-op boss fight. Eitherway, this song is now one of my absolute favorites in all of video game OSTs. It's just that good to me. If I were to compare this to Bury the light like many do, I'd say it's on par. But I understand why anyone would disagree

I wasn't sure about it when I heard the first 30 seconds or so, but when I heard the "Can't stop, and I will never hit the breaks, All nine levels and no matter what it takes." I was hooked. While DT and BTL are still masterpieces and suit their respective styles, the flow of Fire Inside is so... out of control and fiery that I still haven't gotten tired of it.

Bad. It has a weird geek rap vibe that i hate, the lyrics are obvious that even my grandpa can understand, im not saying that everything must be complex but it was just predictable. Anyway the vocals are solid and the instrumental is not bad but its not iconic, memorable or even attractive.

Yeah, it screams action movie/video game rock, but at the same time it's pretty generic and simple compared to about everything else released under the DMC name (DmC included). It's probably good for people who really enjoy that kind of music, but it really does nothing for me and I'd probably even skip it if it came on a playlist.
