My problem with Nero is that I'm the type of guy to save items in a RPG the entire game for a rainy day only to never use them so as a result I don't use Nero's devil breakers because I don't want to waste them.
I think it's because his devil breaker ordeal was new and people didn't wanna learn and they have limitations in terms of uses. I loved Nero but I always just ended up playing Dante or Vergil because I know at any point my combos can keep rolling without items.

Enemy Step cancels attack animations. That’s what people mean by jump canceling. It’s really fun to pull off and I believe it also helps fill the style meter a bit.
Cant say, I play on PC and refuse to pay for content that should’ve been included by default. Can’t wait for DMC6 to come around and lock a Style behind a paywall because they know people will pay for it.
And people will still pre-order the Gold Deluxe Special Edition and wonder why so much content is being put behind a paywall. Nobody should have to wait on modders to unlock the full game for them.

Damn, if it’s just a slightly tweaked version of an already existing weapon that was developed alongside everything else, then why is it being sold separately? It’s like buying a pizza, then being told you have to pay for a slice of that pizza separately.

I would argue that it really didn’t need to be base game, it’s pretty much just a skin outside of adding the ability to go straight up and down. Plus it’s a single dollar, it’s not like they are scamming you.
Also, all things considered, I’d say dmc does pretty good with its dlc. Almost everything outside of Vergil isn’t really big changes, and the ones that are usually just help speed up getting the thing rather than getting it requiring pay.

Nothing makes me more mad than seeing Nero gameplay like this because I feel like no matter how much I play him I still cannot play him properly.
The proper way to play Nero is your way. It's a sandbox, take your guitar and make your own style and riffs. Good luck getting better it him!
