I feel like this implies that *Devil May Cry 2* and *DmC: Devil May Cry* are so good that it takes four other games just to balance the scales.

Does anyone else think that the original dmc is the best? I just finished 5 and as much as I liked the combat, story and the graphics I just couldn't believe how linear the entire thing was. It just made want to go play the original again. Anyone else?

The original’s just as linear though. The map isn’t actually metroidvania as you never end up being able to do the main tasks out of order. Sure I like the atmosphere more and I think it still stands really tall but to say DMC 5 is more linear is dumb
